snipers. as were on a mission to get intel on the zebra army. the smart one of the group dusk flight had hacked the radio com and was listening to what the zebras were saying. the zebra said in a angry voice well what are you wait for get those stealth suits mark 2 on the battlefield. another zebras voice was on the com now and said but sir they're just prototypes we don't even know if they work yet. the other zebra was pissed then try them on some test dummy's for fuck sake. the zebra now pissed and was off the com for while as was evidence by static of the com. damn it I lost the signal said dusk in a annoyed manner. we should get back to princess luna before were spotted said sunflasher in a quiet voice. we quietly made our way back to equestria in between the journey back we set up camps in the nights we had to put out the fires as to not draw attention after we had gotten out of the jungle that was roam via a hidden submarine under some trees after twilight sparkle the ministry mare herself put a cloaking spell. to us it was a boat to zebras it was just a boulder. neat spell to be honest after that we set up camps making sure the fire and smoke were destroyed again. we continued until six or seven nights after we arrived we were where at canterlot. we walked up the quartz stairs the silky and soft carpet. on the stairs lead to a magnificent room with glass windows telling the history of canterlot which pathed to a quartz velvet majestic throne which a magnificent blue alicorn that sat upon it I spoke up. your majesty alicorn looked at me and my other teammates luna spoke up. so have you got the intel on our enemy's. dusk spoke up yes your majesty we do they were talking about stealth suits and that they weren't ready. so if the main zebras were taken out the suits wouldn't get done. hmm I see your point child very well I will give you a few days off. we got to our plan but not before a few bottles of wild Pegasus and some laughs the next day was sniper training typical stuff we shot a few rounds in to dummy's from far away and reloaded. hey said dusk in a friendly tone why are out you here. sniper practice same stuff I do everyday when im not partying or on a mission I say calmly. there had been to many missions it honestly was five years since we joined the elite snipers sadly he hasn't been able ask her out too many missions you know. hey I was wondering um do you want go to dinner with me. sure why not she said calmly it felt like a parade was about to burst out of me seven pm I said. sure why not she said she then took off to the barracks same place where I sleep along with sunflasher and all of the soldiers it we didn't send much time in the normal barracks instead we have our own. its better than sleeping in the normal barracks trust me it doesn't take long to smell the gross sweat of other gaurds to make you want to leave as soon as possible. the time was around six fourty pm I got up to my hooves and walked over to the coffee shop I waited for dusk to arrive. it was seven pm when dusk arrived. she was wearing red dress and a styled mane. we went into the coffee shop I had a latte and a salad. dusk had a mocha and a house salad after we were done with our foods we started to talk to each other. apparently she likes the color orange more than red. and that she had a pet cat named waddles I went back to the elite sniper barracks I climbed into my bed. tomorrow was the big mission besides that I had a fantastic day. hopefully tomorrow is the same. why is it so dark i said to myself i see a light start heading towards its the worst dream ever i saw fire endless fire. corpses for miles the ones that were alive didn't even look like pony's i could see meat and skin. parts of the fur and flesh were withered. the ones that didn't look like walking corpes looked sick and dying. canterlot was in ruins broken towers lay in ruin as a pink fog enveloped the city. everything was dead. i rose out of bed drenched in sweat. instead of think about it something quickly enveloped by the smell of my one favorite food besides cake. pancakes i saw dusk at the oven making... pancakes i quickly ask her how did she learn how to cook. she simply says that her grandma blooming dawn taught her makes sense. i mean my grandpa taught me how to fight. after breakfast all three of us gather around as dusk discusses the plan. ok so the plan is went infiltrate the camp by taking out its snipers then we disguise  as a zebra and then when they have they're guard down we snipe the lead scientist and then kill all the guards sneak past the camp and return and some stimpaks in us and report to the princess. we of course need a plan b um which one of you is good at stealth horizon sunflasher neither of you are the least bit stealthly we shake our heads I never really was steathly. dusk sighs ok plan a infiltrate the camp take out its snipers disguise and take the suits and stimpaks. ok we nod approvingly. as we start packing up of course sunflasher always is a quick packer. he runs out the door this leaves me and of course dusk she kisses me blink for and then blush I give her the same treatment  I kiss her and then walk beside her. it was an interesting five hours before to the camp. we got here sun flasher wasn't so lucky. he was tired well he did do twenty laps around canterlot he's fast but even then he has his breaking point. all I could do was laugh on the inside. we arrived  outside of the zebra camp. I take out the binoculars and scan for any snipers surprisingly the camp was abandoned. I started to get a sense of dread something was off I just didn't know what ... KABOOM ... KABOOM. balefire bombs soared in the sky like mighty birds. only one word needed to be said. RUN!!! I yelled we quickly went the nearest luna safehouse. the thundering booms on the outside world continued for hours. I grabbed the canterlot com hello this is squad 1 no response hello still nothing. its been five years since the bombs fell on equestria. we would go out on scavenger hunts for any food water and ammo its been different for these five years me and dusk got married. couldn't really have a honeymoon because of you know what. thankfully this bunker built to last a long time know I have a child to look after. where do I start well im going to make some logs that way incase were found or killed these will at least be kept safe. taught him how to shoot yes I am talking about my son we had some dummy's in the armory. not much left top side the pegasi blocked the sun and moon damned bastards. dusk tried to reason with them but they just said and I quote any Pegasus on the surface is a dead to the pegasi race as a whole the enclave they call themselves I knew a true enclave soldier when I saw one. they're a disgrace to the word enclave rejecting they're own it's downright awful.
