When Lapis meets a potential representative for opening Gem mines in Canterlot, things go awry. After being arrested, and subsequent events allow him to escape, he must get back to his family in Manehatten. However, dangers will lurk at every turn, from raiders to those who do not understand the changes the world is going through. Will he make it to his family? What else will he face? What awaits him in this changed world?
