Doug found himself alone. He let out a nervous sigh as the phone rang. It made him jump a bit as he shook his head. He was jumping at a phone ringing this was just getting stupid at this point. Nothing was going to happen or that is what he told himself anyway. He knew this but, well ever since he was kid had an over active mind that always made him think something bad was going to happen. He finally calmed himself down and hit the button on the phone.
“Hello, Hello. Glad to hear we finally have new guy on the night shift. I really hope you will stay on. We have already gone through four people at this job. Anyway, I am going to be giving you some instructions about the night shift.
The first thing I should tell you is sometimes the animatronics wonder around at night. Sometimes they think it is day time and they need to be entertaining kids so they go around looking for someone to entertain, and seeing how you only one around they may come visit you. If they do just tell them to go back to their stages for the night.
But, if they start acting weird or they don’t listen. I suggest putting on that Fazbear’s head on the desk and playing dead. The reason I say this is because sometimes the machines will mistake guards for naked exoskeletons and try to…well stuff them in suits which can end in some….discomfort. But, don’t worry you should be fine. I would suggest to you however, to stay in office. Unless you think something wrong.
The less interacts with the machines you have the better your job will be. Also another small warning your mask won’t work on Foxy. I am not sure if you saw him when you came in. He is pirate looking one. If you see him your best bet is to flash a light in his eyes. It will reset him and he should run away. He has not been that active in quite some time so you shouldn't have to worry about him.
That covers just about everything. You should have some help soon-ish but, you will be alone for a few hours. Just keep and an eye on everything until help comes. Good luck.” The man on phone said as he hung up.
Doug was a bit confused about what he had just heard. Did this guy like pulling pranks on the new guys or something. Because all of these so called “ instructions” were just plain silly. Bots stuffing people in suits was the lamest thing he had ever heard in his life. He shook his head a bit. He hoped his so called help wouldn't try to scare him as well.
He shrugged off the “instructions” and just watched the monitors. For about a good 40 minutes nothing happen everything was still and quiet. He watched the monitors as he opened a can of soda he got from the small fridge. He scanned over to the monitors that over looked the main entrance to the building. The camera scanned the whole room. He watched it for a moment as yellow blur rushed across the monitor.
“What the?” He asked himself as he sat up putting his drink on the wooden desk. He looked closer at the monitor as he thought he saw some shadows moving. He raised an eyebrow. He was a little bored so he thought he check out what was going on in room. Plus he feel bad if on his first night something happen to the place. He grabbed his flashlight from the desk and walked out of the room.
He walked out into the hall as the flashlight beamed out onto pirate bot. “Eeeee.” He said looking at the pirate bot on the floor. It was even creepy when no one else was around. He walked passed it as quickly as he could. As he then entered the dining room. He flashed the light seeing the three robots on stage. They looked okay to him they didn't even notice him as he walked over to door.
He grabbed the handle and shook it a bit. The door was still locked and all windows looked fine so he wondered what he saw. Maybe it was just rat or something. He shrugged it off and turned around when all sudden he saw nothing but brown in front of him. He nearly jumped out of skin as he looked up seeing Freddy’s ugly mug. Freddy was looking down at him with a death stare. After calming down he looked at the large thing. He never noticed how big Freddy actually was.
“Jesus Freddy. You scared the crap out of. Look there are no parties around or kids. Look around the whole place is dark. I was just checking the front door because I thought saw something.” He said slightly annoyed as he brushed passed the robot shaking his head.
“Jeez this place is going to give me heart attack.” He said as he tried to walk forward but, found himself oddly stuck in place. He tried to move forward but, again it was completely fruitless. That is when he felt a sharp pain on his left shoulder. He cocked his head a bit looking at a cold fuzzy hand on his shoulder grabbing it roughly.
“What in the world do you think you are...” He said turning around looking up at Freddy.
Freddy opened his mouth as he let out hellish roar that echoed through the shop. It was a roar that sound like a mixture of an animal dying painfully and a child screaming his head off. It was one of the most terrifying thing his ears has ever heard.
“Holy MOTHER OF SATAN!!!” He shouted swing his flashlight at the giant bot hitting it in the head which threw off guard enough that it released him.
He ran, faster then he had ever ran before. He was a big guy. He didn't do a lot workouts or anything so running was a bit new to him. What was worse is that he left his flashlight back with the death bear and he was sure as hell was not going back for it. He ran through the darkness hoping he was going the right way.
Luckily for him, his eye caught the light from the office. He rushed to it like drug addict looking for another hit. He was panting when he entered the well lit room. He held his knees as try to caught his breathe. He was trying to collect himself as heard something break through the silent.
A thumping sound was coming towards him. He looked back into the darkness as cold sweat washed over him. Something was coming towards the room. His mind went into overdrive trying to remember what the guy on the phone said to do when the machines started acting like this. His brain was fuzzy and he couldn't think straight until he looked up seeing the bear head on the desk.
He raced into the seat putting the head on and slumping down into the seat letting his limbs go numb. The sound stopped as Doug held his breathe as long as he could. Freddy had entered the room and was looking deep into the eyes of the mask. The lights flicked as Freddy stood in the room. He didn't stare back, just kept looking forward. Freddy just stood there looking at him. He was struggling to hold his breathe.
Thoughts races through his head. Was this the end? Was he going to end up stuffed in a suit? What were these things? It was about to burst out of his mouth as he need to breathe. Then just like that Freddy was gone. He choked as he grasped for air sucking it in like it was going out style. He patted himself down to make sure everything was still attached to his body.
Other then lack of air and the small pain in his shoulder he was fine physically. Mentally he wanted to run out of this building screaming like a little girl. But, that meant walking by Freddy again alone and that was not happening anytime soon. He took the head off and put in on the desk. He was still trying to take all of this in. He rubbed his forehead wondering what kind of job he had gotten himself into. He was already thinking about quieting. He just had to survive this night. Then he would be home free like those other four.
As soon as he thought he was in clear, he heard it. The sound of footsteps echoed once more.
