A new Saga

"Wait, that makes no sense!" Argued Kyo as he sat up looking at the map with disbelief with his legs crossed on the bed. "I just came through the Barren Forests! There's no way that this map is telling the truth! There was no Appleloosa! No badlands!"

Twilight folds her arms. "Well, that's where you had to have come from, otherwise..." she inspects the boy closer. "No, that wouldn't make any sense, would it? You're not from here at all, you're not from the forests, you're not from that far away..."

She had one theory in mind. "...You're an alien..." she said flat out, to which Kyo was shocked. "A..Alien!? But!"

The pink one named Pinkie Pie bounces. "I ALWAYS WANTED AN ALIEN FRIEND!" she said with such an over-excited voice that was enough to make anyone jump from the sudden burst of speech.

"Pinkie, darling, I'm pretty sure the colt has enough worries than making friends at the moment." An upper class girl named "Rarity" said to Pinkie crushing the hopes of the busty pink bundle of sugar and all things nice.

Kyo was taken back by all of this, but his reaction changed from a frown to a careless smile, which caused everyone to be confused. "What in tarnation are you smiling about? You may not be able to go back to your home, doesn't that scare ya'll?" said "Applejack" as she was feeling concerned.

"If I'm from another world, then that means the Kyo I once became is no more... I can start a new clean slate technically..." he said ignoring Applejack's worried tone.

The rainbow girl, literally called "Rainbow Dash" was a little confused. "Well, yeah... But don't you miss your home?" she said tilting her head.

Kyo shook his head. "Not one bit..."

To his surprise, he heard gasps and whimpers from the girls, he looks at them. "Hm?.. What's wrong, was it something I said?"

"Why, darling, think about your family! Surely someone of your age worries about you!" Rarity said, lecturing Kyo.

Kyo just looked a little sad. "...I don't have a family... Not anymore... They're all gone..." he said as he didn't want to remember what happened.

The room got silent until Fluttershy spoke up. "Uhm, what happened, if you... don't mind me asking..."

'This girl can cause heart attacks...' Kyo sighed as he got comfortable. "Alright, how shall I start? Okay, basically, my home was destroyed by a sadistic man in hopes for getting a treasure that never existed to begin with... All the people I knew, the friends and family I had, they were gone... either enslaved or killed by that..." he said as he felt himself in agonizing rage, but he stopped himself.

"Anyhow, I was one of those enslaved and sadly, I had to work with a very uhm... Touchy girl in a school outfit who I was convinced that she enjoyed beating males up if they don't... Endure her wishes..." he said, shivering.

By this time, the mares were both disgusted and concerned.

Kyo continued on. "I was saved by someone who was very important to me..." To which Rarity smiled. "A lady? A special somepony?" Kyo shook his head. "No, it was like a mentor-student relationship, it went much deeper than just lovers, especially since I lost my innocence to that she-devil..." he sighs and closes his eyes.

He then just disappointed the entire room. "...Then I wandered for a while and appeared here..." he said as he leaned back a bit.

"That's it?" Pinkie Pie said disappointed.

"That's it..." Kyo said nonchalantly and looks at Pinkie. "And I would prefer it if you didn't know too much... My travels were personal... More so than my village."

"So, you're an orphan?" Fluttershy said sadly to which Kyo nodded. "Yeah, and the last one of my race..." he said once again nonchalantly like it was no big deal.

Rainbow Dash growls. "And you're taking this lightly! It's like you never cared about your family or your friends!"

Kyo shot up and gave Rainbow a glare. "I did care, deeply! Did you know the minute I realized my friends and family were dead and captured? I wanted to commit suicide so that way I could visit them in the afterlife."

The room became deathly silent as he suddenly felt tears running down his eyes. "Even my mentor... Died at the hands of that god damn madman... I was alone, all alone... Until I learned of something that shocked me to my core."

He looks at them who were listening in. "...That guy who killed everyone I held dear... He told me that I was the only one of my kind... Hah, no duh the only one of my kind, but it's not exactly what he meant."

"Wh-what did he mean, Sugarcube?" asked a worried Applejack, to which Kyo looked at her. "I was the only one to cast symbology... A kind of magic that only belongs to pure-bloods of my race, we were once used as a weapon for war..."

He scrutinizes his hand. "Either a tool of destruction on one side, or a tool of support on the other, Chaos vs Cosmic, Hell vs Heaven..."

He clenches his hand. "But that was over 300 years ago, and the only reason I exist was to breed for a new generation of Symbologist wielders..."

The mares felt uncomfortable. "...The funny part was, I don't mind it as long as they would fight for the side of good more than evil... Note when I said would, now I'm in a world where I don't think that's possible... I'm free technically..." he had a faint smile on his face.

Then he sighs. "Yeah, so not only do you get an alien for a friend, but an alien who can use magic... Cool huh?" he said going back to his cheery attitude.

Twilight looked around to see they were silent, so she broke the ice a bit. "Well, this world has magic too..."

This got Kyo's attention. "Really? Do tell, miss Sparkle..."

Twilight smiled. "Well, this world works on magic, us unicorns can use and amplify the magic into anything, healing, self defense, recon... You name it, we're sure to have it."

Kyo was thinking. "So that means I'll be able to fit in this world more than I thought.." he then smiles. "Interesting..." he says as he lays back down. "By the way, when can I leave the hospital?"

"Well, you're able to leave at any moment, but we think it's best for you to stay another night, you had an awful fever..." Fluttershy said as she puts a hand on his forehead, bending down to him.

Kyo had a good view of her cleavage as she bends down, making him blush hard, he was hot due to the show, and Fluttershy gasped. "Oh my, you're even worse than I thought!"

He shook his head. "No, I'm okay honest!" but after saying that, a thermometer was shoved into his mouth and to make it worst, Flutters was petting Kyo, telling him it was going to be okay.

Kyo just sighed as he lets her do her work, he was patient enough to deal with a girl like this, so he just decided to lay back down.

An hour passes by and with sheer luck, Kyo managed to convince Fluttershy to let go and Kyo was up and ready to move. "By the way, I've been meaning to ask... How long have I been unconscious?"

Twilight clears her throat. "About... 2 days." Kyo was shocked to hear. "TWO DAYS?! It only felt like a few hours!"

Rainbow Dash shrugged. "Yeah well, when we found you, you were struggling to breathe."

Applejack nodded. "Yeah, you weren't in great shape, so it's no wonder you were out for so long..."

Kyo thinks. "Huh... Well, in either case, I'm happy you found me, is there anything I can do to help you fine people?"

"Pony." Twilight corrected, to which Kyo sheepishly scratches behind his head. "Ah.. Right, well just name it, anything!"

Twilight's cheeks brighten up and smiled. "I would love to know about your culture!" She said with a knowledge hungry look on her face... Whatever that is...

"Erm, sure." He said with a smile as he then held the papers and signed his full name. "Also, not to be rude, but... I kinda have nowhere to live seeing as I'm a new inhabitant..."

"Ohh, he can live with me!" Fluttershy said with excitement, Kyo didn't mind the nurse figure this girl had, she was both adorable and ... Very sexy.

Rainbow Dash smirked. "Nah, he should live with Twilight, he looks like a nerdy type anyways." she said with a grin.

The funny part was she had a point, Kyo did like to read and he figured that him and Twilight would get along well, the only thing he was afraid of was these experiments... We're going to have to cover mating at one point and he'd rather not be put on the spot, but it's bound to happen.

"He could always live with our family." Said Applejack, to which Kyo thinks it was a bit much, he was torn in living with 3 mares.

"OR ME!" Pinkie shouted and bounced around.

4 Mares, the narrator corrected.

"But you can't darling, remember? You ran out of room at Sugarcube Corner, Mr and Mrs Cake won't be able to take any more pon-- er people in." argued Rarity.

"Oh, right." she laughs and snorts.

3 mares, the narrator corrected once again.

"I think it's better he lives with Fluttershy." Twilight smiled, giving the answer to them. "Applejack, while you do have room, it's better that Fluttershy gets to be the one to help out Kyo due to her affinity with animals.... Err! No offense, Kyo!"

Kyo shrugged. "None-taken..."

"And I can't house him because well... Spike would be a little jealous..." Twilight bashfully admitted.

Kyo just smiled. "Say no more Twilight, I understand." he then puts a hand on her shoulder. "Besides, I'm probably going to be doing odd jobs that this place has."

"Odd jobs? Oh, like helping out others?" Fluttershy smiled to which Kyo nods. "Yeah! Besides since you're the one housing me, it's more of a responsibility thing, yeah?"

Fluttershy nodded and blushed a bit. "I-I guess so... I mean, only if you want to..." she then mutters something under her breath with a blush growing bigger. "I wouldn't mind taking care of you anyways..."

Kyo picked that up with his ears twitching and blushed a bit, while the others were a little confused.

~Another Hour Later~

After the discharge from the clinic, all of the mares said goodbye and went to do their own thing, while Kyo was allowed inside Fluttershy's abode. "By the way miss Fluttershy, I've been meaning to--" Fluttershy blushed. "Oh, please just call me Fluttershy..." she said softly and with a smile.

"Okay Fluttershy... So, I've been meaning to ask, where's my blade?" he said as he looked over the place.

"That thing? W-w-we got r-r-r-...rid of it.." She said out right to which Kyo was shocked to hear. "You... Got rid of it?..." he repeated to which Fluttershy nodded softly.

"B-But, that was a gift from my best friend!" he said very distraught and sad, Fluttershy winced and shook, afraid of him.

Kyo took note of this and thought. "N-No big deal, I can talk to Twilight and get this sorted out, right?"

Fluttershy nodded. "I-I guess so.."

Scratching the back of his head, he kinda didn't expect this. "Erm, in any case, I can take my time!" he said with a smile to reassure her. "I'd love to meet your animals though, Fluttershy."

This seemed to perk her up and give off a slight smile. "R-really?" To which Kyo nods. "Of course, I mean, meeting you guys was pretty easy enough, I'm sure a few animals aren't that big of a deal, right?" he said with a carefree attitude.

Fluttershy signals the animals to come out, a bundle of many critters and even a bear appear subtly, to which Kyo was completely shocked, he never once saw any of these furry animals before. "Wh-whoa.."

As they all appeared around Fluttershy, Kyo could see the radiance she gave off like some kind of benevolent aura.

"Incredible... I... I never saw such amazing animals before..." he said as he looked at each one of them.

Fluttershy was confused. "You.. Never seen a squirrel or a bunny? Or even a gopher?!" she was actually interested. "What kind of animals do you know?" getting closer to him.

"Well, where I came from, coyotes, wolves and birds were the most common... But these critters, they're so adorable..." he said as he kneels down and puts his arm out to which one of the birds calmly land on. "...Remarkable..." he said to himself as he slowly and gently puts his arm to his chest, the bird falls asleep on his arm, looking comfortable.

Fluttershy was smiling. "...Wow... Little Macro is taking a shine to you, Kyo." she said calmly.

"Yeah, Macro huh? Are you gonna be one of my bird friends, Macro?" He said softly as he gently strokes the bird with his finger as it sleeps.

"Life is definitely a precious thing, Fluttershy..." Kyo said as he looks at her, to which she looks at him with a confused look on her face. "Back in my world, life was meaningless... People were killed for money, Flora and Fauna dying off so our greedy race would survive... And then there's me... Trying my hardest not to be plagued by those terrible memories..."

Fluttershy looked down as Kyo continued. "If anything Fluttershy, I have to warn you... While this may be unlikely, I want you and the others to be warned about 'people'... If you ever see some creature similar to me, minus the ears and tail... You come get me, alright?"

"But why?" Fluttershy said, tilting her head.

"They will do anything to survive... Kill, rape, pillage... And you most certainly never trust them..." He said as he looks at Fluttershy sincerely. "But if you do, I want you to pinkie promise me that you'll find me, okay?"

She nods with a shy nod with pale colour growing on her fur. "But like I mentioned, it's very unlikely..." Kyo said trying to reassure her.

Kyo sets Macro down gently onto a table, who wakes up from the peaceful slumber. "By the way, Flutters... Another question."

"Oh, yes?" Fluttershy said regaining her colour.

"Silly thing to say but... May I shower? I'm afraid I haven't washed since I got here." he said with a bit of an embarrassed look on his face to which Fluttershy blushes and nodded. "Oh, y-y-y-yes! You may!"

He smiles. "Thanks, which room's the bathroom?"

She simply just points to the bathroom, with Kyo giving her a heart warming "Thank you." and heads to the bathroom, still looking at the new animals, and even smiling at a bear. "Take care of her for me while I'm gone, big guy."

And as he walks away, he could of sworn he heard the bear softly growled in reply. "...Uh.. Yeah..." he shook his head and got undressed.
