The search for Daky's brother
1: A Chance Meeting
Lunar was walking through Ponyville hoping Luna would not notice him heading towards the Everfree. Its the one place I can be myself He thought. While he was walking, he saw a pony he had never seen before walking in the same direction as him, probably heading to the same place.
"Greetings, stranger. Don't you know it is dangerous after dark." Lunar called stepping in front of the pony.
"Hmmm, i was told that, i´m new here but i´m searching for someone." he said calmly "You can call me Darkness knight ,or darky as some had been calling me recently."
"Well welcome to ponyville. I am Lunar Shield, Luna's Chief Adviser and Leader of the Equestrian Military. If your looking for somepony I'm the pony to talk to." Lunar says grinning revealing Razor sharp teeth
"Thank you ... Wait, di-did you said L-Luna...?" He started blushing "Emmm..." he stopped "... Sorry for that, so you say can help me? My brother disappeared and a pony from a nearby village told me someone in here should know"
"What did he look like?" Lunar asks.
"Hmm...My brother looked quite like me, but a little big bigger, with green eyes, about the other pony, i don't know, i only know they told me to talk to a pony who lives in a library or kind of." He replyed
"Ohh you mean Princess Twilight. You should have said so sooner. Follow me." Lunar leads him to the opposite side of Ponyville where a library stood. Lunar knocked on the door saying: "Hey Twilight! Wake Up!"
Her name is Twilight?" As soon as he said that Twilight came down, all sleepy and saying "Uhmm... yes? What is it?"
"This pony says he needs to talk to you." Lunar replies
"Really, what is it?" She said.
"Ummm... Hi princess, my name is Darkness knight, a pony from a nearby village said that you might have seen my brother, he is like me, just a little biger and with green eyes" he replied.
"Now that you mention it, I think I saw someone in Everfree like that. He was with a group of ponys, but lookeyd like in a hurry. He left this necklace on the ground."
"Th-Thats my brother's necklace!" he said as soon as Twilight show it to them. "We must go there. i must see my brother."
"Woah. Hold on there your not going into the Everfree alone. I lived there for 20 years, so I'll show you around." Lunar says. "Just wait while i call my brother Golden Dust."
"Ok, i will go with you if it is that dangerous." Darky said "Will your brother also come?"
"Yes he is on his way from Canterlot. When he arrives we will leave." Lunar walks to a thick shadow and pulls out a black sword sheathe with a silver crescent moon on it saying. "Can't forget this."
"Nice sword." Then darky pulled out a shield with some carvings and a winged sword as a simbol on it from a bag he had been carring with him. "But i rather a good defence. Princess, i will take the necklace, if you don't mind"
Twilight gave the necklace to darky and said "Ok. If you excuse me, i'll go back to sleep."
Lunar says "you haven't seen the blade yet" and draws the double-edged lunar steel blade
"Hmmm... nice. Hope you are as good with it as how good it looks. I had never been a good swordman, but no one has taken me down using this shield. When will your brother arrive?" Darky replied
"I'm the Greatest Swordsman in Equestria." Lunar says as a white unicorn with a glittering gold mane and tail walks in carrying a golden bow. saying "Greetings everypony."
"Why it only took you long enough Golden." Lunar says.
"Sorry Lunar I was in a meeting. Who is this?" he asks looking at Darky
My name is Darkness knight, an exiled knight from a kingdom far to the east. I came here seeking my brother, I was told that he was in Everfree, so I´m going there to look for him. Lunar said he would come with me because is dangerous to go." Darky replied
"Indeed it is. My Twin Brother is always right when comes to danger." Golden replied
"Seems like it. Do you have everything ready or shall we take a moment to prepare ourselves?" Darky said.
"We're ready when you are." Lunar and Golden say at the same time
"Allright, then give me a moment, i must get some things before we go. Wait here, it won´t take long." He left and after a while, Darky came back. "Ok, lets go."

Lunar leads them down the main path in the everfree he looks over his shoulder and says: "I saw the way you blushed when i mentioned Luna. You like her don't you?"
"Emmmm..." Starts blushing "Well...uhhhm.. ye- I mean.. th-that's...personal. Man, i´m bad with this kind of stuff. Look, yes, but keep it a secret please." Darky came back to normal.
"Don't worry we won't tell." Lunar said with a smile.
"Thank you" Darky replied. After a while walking they decided to rest for a while. In there Darky started telling them about his brother "My brother´s name is Golden Lightning, he is 2 years older than me and was the best in our kingdom with the spear, I was asked by the captain of the guards to be with him since his bodyguard was sick. Then, 3 nights after that, he disappeared, only leaving his shield behind." He then took the necklace out but didn't notice it was shining. Lunar and Golden noticed it.
Lunar's own necklace was glowing with power. "Hey Darky, does that thing usually glow?"
"Emmm... no. It must mean something,but i don't know, it never did that when i was home. Do you know someone that may know what is happening to them?" Darky replied a little confused.
"I know why mine glows. But yours hmmm.... Luna might know after all she was the one who gave me mine." Lunar said.
"Then, we are going back to ask her?" Darky said.
"No. I will just contact her with a letter." Lunar says pulling a quill and parchment from his bag writing Dear Luna, I need to see you in the Everfree Forest. It is urgent. Your Friend, Lunar Shield
"So, she will come here..." Darky said. "Hmmm, sounds better than going back all the way, i´ll make a campfire for her to spot us." After saying that he got some wood and arranged it, then he took his shield and the carvings started glowing black, a few seconds later a small ball of fire came out and the campfire lit.
"Hmm interesting shield you have there." Lunar said as a pony made compleatly of shadows appeared behind him.
"All right Darky, just ... keep calm. That must be her." Darky said in a very low and nervous voice that only lunar manage to hear.
Luna lands in the clearing. looking at lunar she asked "What do you need Lunar?"
"Luna i was wondering if you could tell us why Darky's necklace is glowing." Lunar replied
Darky gave the necklace to Luna. "This one, it was of my brother, Twilight said that she found it in here, at Everfree. After we enter we walked for a while and when I took it out it started glowing" He said while Luna was inspecting it.
"It may mean you are getting closer to him." She says pointing at Luna's she said "His glows when his nightmare form tries to gain power. It helps him control it."
"Seems like a good posibility, we shall keep looking for him. But there is something else I just remebered about it. My father said that the necklace and my shield had magic inside them, I don't know what kind he was talking about, but we will find out sooner or later." Darky replied as Luna gave him back the necklace.
"Hmmm. Might be Nightmare Magic." Lunar said summoning a black crystal from the ground. "This should help. If you will please hand me the necklace."
"Alright, here..." Darky was about to give the necklace to Lunar, but as soon as Lunar touched it, it started glowing more intensely and the 4 ponies heard a very low voice, like coming from the necklace, saying "Nooooo..." like fading away "Ummm... That was a little... creepy, did you heard it also or it was just me?" Darky said
"I heard it hmmm. What was it though?" Lunar asked looking at Darky
"I have no idea, but the voice, it sounds familiar, but ... it sounded just ... like my brother's." Darky said looking to the necklace.
After a moment of silance the voice sounded again "Follow ... me ..." And it started glowing slowly.

3: Following a Talking Necklace?
"Where you going?" Lunar asked following Darky.
There was no answer. Darky started walking forward, like something was calling his attention. Luna, Lunar and Golden were following him, they tried talking to him, but he didn't said anything until they reached a cave.
When they arrived Darky came back to his senses "Wait, what happened?" He said confused. The necklace was glowing intensly.
Lunar's lunar steel armor appeared on him. "He mus be in there."Lunar said drawing his sword.
"Uh... yeah, we should go inside" Darky said as he was getting back to his senses. Luna gave Darky his shield as he said that
"In that case I should get going." Said Luna "Good luck in your serch." Then she desapeared on the shadows
"Hey darky before we go inside i should tell you something." Lunar said
"Yes, what is it?" Darky replied
"I just needed to tell you that whatever happens make sure my necklace does not leave my neck." It won't be pretty. Lunar said.
"Sure, ok then, lets go." The 3 ponies went into the cave. Darky's necklace was glowing even more. They saw several shadows as they walked, then they vanished. "Looks like we are not alone in here."
