//-------------------------------------------------------// A Buzz of Chaos -by Whisper's Lightning- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue Come on Chrysalis. You need to get up. Come on now, you're immortal, you're not dead nor broken. Get up!    The changeling queen staggered helplessly onto her hooves, weak from the blow. Darn those two. It's all their fault I'm here. She finally got up on all fours. Wobbling, she tried to take a step, succeeded, and took a few more.  Gaining confidence, she forced her aching body to trot around, which ended with her being face-first in the long dry dirt. Pthu! The dirt put a terrible taste in her mouth. It was so unlike the sweet and luscious taste of love…Love. LOVE! Her instincts kicked in and she suddenly wondered where on earth she really was. She couldn't go too long without love to feed on. Maybe a week. But she had to figure where she was now in order to locate resources of food and water.    There was a throbbing pain in her head caused by the strong spell that had sent her flying away from canterlot's castle. She rubbed her temple with a hoof. Now let's ignore this and get moving.  With a swoosh, her wings propelled her up on her hooves once again. The air was humid and dark. The usual blue sky she found in equestria was not blue anymore, but a grungey tan color. Even the smell complimented it's look, pungent and making anyone's nose crinkle up in disgust. For sure, it was not a place Chrysalis wanted to be.    Offended. That's the one word that could make it to the Queen's orderly mind at the moment. One day she's sitting atop her changeling throne, ordering her subjects around as usual, devising the perfect plan to take over Equestria and have a never ending supply of food for her colony, and the next day she's being blown miles and miles from even her own home. And to make matters worse, it seemed as if she were in a graveyard! Although, as she trotted around examining things, it did appear to be a graveyard. But there were more stone statues and things. A griffin poised to attack. A dragon perched straight and tall, proud as can be. There was also a hydra, manticore, even a cerberus. All of these Chrysalis was pretty familiar with. But there was one particular one. It looked like a pony but..old timey gear on it? There was a word for it. She new it. One of her soldiers had been studying it. Why again? Oh it doesn't matter. But that word. Steam worker? No that wasn't it.    Still pondering the thought, she started flitting around the statues, examining each one with a careful eye. For some reason they really attracted her attention. Was it the shear look of terror in some of the lowly ponies eyes? The evilness to some? STEAMPUNK! That's what it was. Still, it was quite random and she didn't give it too much attention. What is that odd statue? In the distance there was a very slender and curving statue of what looked like a…dragon?    She landed, tripping slightly from growing nausea. She could tell now it was going to take some time finding her way out of this place. Slowly, she walked through the stone graveyard, glancing at the more despicable statues here and there. Being evil herself, the agony induced ponies were more entertaining to look at. She enjoyed the looks of horror on their faces. As if some evil threat were about to banish them to the moon for a thousand years. Either that or they were about to be slaughtered. Sighing to herself, she nearly jumped out of her own skin when a lighting bolt shrieked across the sky. No pegsi controlling weather here.    There the statue was, probably the most cracked one out of all the statues here. A pink glow on it's chest where it's heart would most likely be. She neared it, even more curious than before. This creature had the head of a goat..or pony, the familiar rack of a deer, a goat's horn, and one fang? That was just sad. It also had two different wings: bat and feathered. Strange, but oddly attractive. The more she looked over the statue, the more she liked it. Then she had the most devious plan. Even more devious than that of taking over Equestria. OK, this one involved that too, yes, but with the help of this newfound creature, it would work.    Her horn lit up, and the cracks lit up green. There was an awful screeching sound, and Chrysalis herself had to duck from her powerful horn magic. Suddenly, everything went green. And only two living beings were in the graveyard. //-------------------------------------------------------// And you're name is? //-------------------------------------------------------// And you're name is? Chapter 1:And you're name is? When Chrysalis awoke, a stifled groan escaped her. As she began to regain consciousness the previous moments events and thoughts came flooding back to her. Her new scheme, the statue, her dilemma, her attempt at awaking a statue…which had apparently worked.    On the ground lay an unconscious creature, something like a dragon, pony, snake thing. He was a mixture of things, already mentioned. And as if Chrysalis could judge someone from their looks, he looked evil all right. What she didn't know was that her suspicions were correct and far worse. Twitching, the creature started to awake on the dusty ground. Chrysalis suddenly realized she would have to say something authoritve and alpha-like to the creature to make them fear her. But she found him attractive, nothing like that Shining Armor back in Canterlot. She stood up, dusted herself off, and stood like a tower over the creature.    He groaned and fluttered his eyes open, taking in his surrounding…with his eyes? "WHAT!? I'M ALIVE AGAIN?" the creature gasped quite loudly. He got up, dusting himself off, then took a look around. An incredibly devious laugh arose from his mouth and made Chrysalis smirk in admiration. His back turned, he started talking to the Queen. "Ahhhahaha..., I don't know who you are, but you have set me free, and that's enough for me. But do tell, how did you end up in this dreaded place. No pony could survive here." "Well, I am Chrysalis, Queen of the Changelings. My swarm and I were blasted away from Canterlot, the capitol of Equestria, by a powerful force of magic by two ponies. I defeated their princess, and her six civilians that happened two be there, the bearers of the Elements of Harmony, from what I heard, and-" The creature whisked around and swirled around Chrysalis, laughing maniacally. " Zay no more, Chry
