Bad dream. She wakes up in cold sweat.
"Bad dream, bad dream." She murmurs.
Like her namesake, Sunset was never one to feel awake until the sun set. However, such as her situation of a disturbed night sleep, she took to the roof of her building. Watching the sunrise felt warm and made the day seem more inviting.
She picks out her days wear, blue dress, leggings and her favorite leather jacket. She rides to school on her motorbike.
What if I say I'm not like the others? What if I'm not just another one of your plays? You're the pretender. What if I say that I'll never surrender?
Sunset Shimmer tries making it through her day at Canterlot High.
Jump in front of the bus. Jump. Jump right now!
All through it, she keeps having migraines/flashbacks/dark images of her demon form.
Sunset Satan reference. "No offense."
"None taken." So far, 195 times offense has not been taken. Maybe at 200 she'll get a free pie.
Visions of people and ponies dead at her feet. Throats slashed, bodies filleted, etc.
Sunset Satan again. "No offense."
Bitter sigh. "None taken."
196.
Lunch time. CRACKED AFTER HOURS STYLE POP CULTURE DISCUSSION.
"Are you alright, Sunset?" squeaked the cowardly little tart Fluttershy. "You sound... bitter."
"No, I'm not bitter."
"She said bitterly with a bitter expression." Dash jabbed. Cunt.
I jab back with a flip of the bird.
Rainbow Dash will remember this school hazily. And you 5 will have been my spotters.
"I wonder what it was like back then. Back then... back then... back then..."
"What are you doing?" Sunset asked distracted by Lyra's little harp flourish.
"I'm trying to have a flashback. I never had one before."
Another goddamn mention Sunset Satan. "No offense."
"Uggh! Non- no you know what? Screw you guys! Offense taken!"
The table went quiet as Sunset pouted.
"And nobody will ever mention it again, under penalty of torture."
Ooh. Haven't suggested torture yet.
"That holding the boombox gesture isn't so great today. How woo'd would you be if someone was blaring a corny but sweet love song off of their phone?"
"This kind of thing never happens to the Eco-Teens."
Professors class.
Vinyl handed in her headphones at the door.
"Trixie! You're in science class not Dark Arts."
"Lyra! Make googly eyes at your book, not Bon Bon."
"Lyra likes Bon Bon." The class jeered childishly.
"She does not!"
"Norman likes Lyra."
"Come on guys, no he doesn't."
"Flash likes Norman."
"He does not!" Squeaked a nerd.
"Wiz Kid likes Flash."
"Nobody likes Flash!" Professor cut in.
Mid lecture, Sunset's vision blurs. The cup of her lips went scarlet and a thud sounded her leave of consciousness.
A nightmare. A hallway of mirrors, all she sees is that... that... DEMON!
She awakes in Nurse Redheart's infirmary.
She gets a message from Princess Twilight and tells her about her... episode.
She bumps into Flash. Take his throbbing, bleeding cock and fu-
They still haven't really spoken to each other. Baby steps.
See to it his still wet skull is split open by your powerful thrusts of your jagged tongue.
To resist the impulse, she clenched her fists til they bled. She goes back to Redheart.
"Have any Hello Kitty band aids?"
She feels really uneasy starting at her bandages. She doesn't see Principal Celestia in her path.
"Anything I can do?"
The likeness was insufferable. Those kind eyes, patient gaze, controlled stance.
"Um... can I talk to you?"
"Of course you can."
In her office, she lunges into a hug. Celestia is caught off guard at first but hugs back. Sunset is overcome by feeling the semblance of any Celestia Hug that she cries in her principals jacket. Celestia let's her have it out.
After school, she gathers her friends from their usual after school activities to bring them to her place for band practice. She insists she writes a song. (A FRAGMENTED MY PAST IS NOT TODAY)
She is frazzled and persistent in the song trying to come out that she slacks in her hosting abilities.
"However can you afford such a spacious apartment?" Rarity queried.
"Same way everyone else does. It just sort of figures itself out."
Rarity nodded. She understood the magic that came of home owning.
SOMETHING GOES BAD.
"Goddammit."
SOMETHING ELSE GOES BAD
"Double goddammit!"
The video game Rainbow was grinding through has a villain that is rather similar to Sunset's demon form.
"TRIPLE GODDAMMIT!"
Pinkie and Fluttershy see her distress and offer the girls to sleep over.
Sunset tries to sleep but her other her won't stop speaking to her, filling her head with doubt and self loathing.
The girls cuddle a little closer to her and that relaxes her enough for her eyes to drop.
Don't worry. You'll hear from me again.
She holds her friends tighter. She doesn't want them to leave her alone with her thoughts ever again.
