Hello my friends. Allow me to introduce myself; I am Dekram the alicorn of shadows. Before you jump to conclusions, yes I am a male alicorn. From what I know I am one of the few left in existence. Let me tell you my story.
First and foremost I am not like the stereotypical alicorn. I have many things wrong with my appearance. I have the body build of an earth pony, bat wings and ears of the bat ponies, the curved horn of a shadow pony (like King Sombra), and the eyes of a changeling. But that’s not all. I have many abilities of a changeling, I can change my form on command (easily I might add) I can feed off of emotions if I need too, but I cannot feed off a pony directly like a changeling can.
As for details, I have a dark grey mane with a white streak through it, same goes for my tail. My fur is a lighter shade of grey than my mane. I have solid red eyes. My wings
are very peculiar, the structured bone in my wings are a black, while the membrane is a grey.
Now we move onto the main attraction of my design, my cutie mark. Which I don't have, very few of the shadow ponies do. The ones that do have them were allowed to live among the normal ponies at a young age. I was about 12 before i was allowed to leave the Shadow Clan village. I did meet the elements of harmony, but thats for later in the story. One thing you may not know there is an Element of Chaos, not six, one and only one. To many pony’s surprise Discord is not the wielder of this element, you guessed it, I am.
There is a reason there is only one Element of Chaos, but that will be explained later.
I am surprisingly from the Everfree Forest. There is a small group of bat and shadow ponies living in a somewhat rundown town, called the Shadow Clan, near the Castle of the Two Sisters. I started out as a Shadow pony. I never truly learned my parent’s names; my mother was killed by a dragon not too long after my birth. And my father never really spoke to me.
Despite all this tragedy I managed to have a happy life. I even made a friend. Her name was Tanrak which means “one who is light on their feet”. One day her and I were messing around in the forest when we came upon a palace. We both knew that it wasn’t the castle because it was different. On the front we saw a symbol, an upside down V, I was sure I had seen it before.
I walk up to the door about to open it when Tanrak shouts “Wait! We shouldn’t be here.”
“Well it doesn’t say keep out,” I reply “if you want to stay you can,” and I walk in side. Judging by the fact that I didn’t hear her hoofsteps of the floor that she went back. As I was walking through the palace I quickly see that it was only made to look abandoned on the outside.
I entered a round room with white banners hanging all around it. Then I hear it, the hoofstep. “Who are you?” I say without even turning to face the sound.
“I am a friend,” the stallion said emerging from the darkness to my side “You have a keen sense of hearing, we could use that.”
TANRAK'S POV
"MR. SHADOW!!!" was heard through out the village.
The door the shadow residence burst open. Shadow looked up at the intruder, it was Tanrak.
"It's Dekram he entered this building with some weird V symbol. I flew here as fast as i could ." she said.
"WHAT!?" he roared, it was the first time he spoke in months. he got up to his hooves and took off out the door, with Tanrak not far behind. After about 5 minutes they reached the spot.
I wonder how he knew where to go, that's not important now, getting to Dekram is.
DEKRAM'S POV
"How can I trust that you are telling the truth?" I asked with a slight snarl in my voice.
"I can see your hatred, but i just have one question," he stated "Kunini lapho izithunzi basukume?"
This i had recognized instantly, it was the last thing mother had said to me. From what i could ever find it meant "When do the shadows rise."
"bevuka lapho ilanga efihla ebusuku." I reply with a flat tone (so you know that meant "they rise when the sun hides at night.")
"Welcome to the Lunar Eclipsed" he responded with a slight smile "We have a lot to tell you"
I dont want to make this really long because of the fact that it would be boring, so here is what the stallion said. He is part of the Lunar Eclipsed, the group of highly trained; Mercs, Soldiers, Assassins, and more. And as you can guess, they are lead by Luna. How she created this was, she brought in orphans from some of the worse for wear orphanages, and brought them to castle deep inside one of the mountains in the Everfree Forest. And they trained from there. There are three main ranking system for the three main groups. (these are all from lowest to highest) Mercs: apprentice, novice, rouge, merc, blood monger, deathless, Eclipsed. Soldiers: apprentice, naive, swordsman, knight, noble, swords master, Eclipsed. Assassin: apprentice, Trainee, assassin, shadow, master assassin, mentor, Eclipsed. Each apprentice starts off learning each of the skill sets, and hones one of them, and each skill set has a leader, the Eclipsed. The main reason this is so important is because Dekram's mother was a Merc Eclipsed.
TANRAK'S POV
When Dekram's father and I entered the building prepared for a fight, what we saw surprised us. We saw Dekram sitting in the middle of a circular room.
"Derkram are you okay?" I ask with concern in my voice.
"How could you," he mumbled.
Ok now what is he mad at me for?
"How could you father," he said more clearly. "HOW COULD YOU NOT TELL ME!" Now he was yelling. As he looked up, the expression on his ace was one of pure rage.

ONE MAJOR NOTE! the language used in this story, and will continue to be used is Zulu, a language used in Africa.
