While doing some runs to make sure his Jet is in top performance, Crew Walker and his AI assistant Alice find themselves breaking the sound barrier right in the center of a "full rainbow". As it turns out, Rainbow Dash had just done a Sonic Rainboom at the same time, causing some strange wormhole, sucking Crew and his AI into Equestria.

His arrival isn't the best, crashing through the castle isn't the best way in introduce himself. WIth everything cleared away, Crew and Alice work together with the help of the Elements of Harmony to find out how he ties with an Ancient Lord three thousand years ago and why he was to take his new title as Lord of the Skies…
