...But None Had Forgiven!

Previous Chapter

Outside Siren Manor:

"So let me make sure I understand this correctly," Rainbow Dash said as the party reached the gate with knife swinging around as she restates everything to do for the plan. "We walk in, just, stroll right on inside, find the Dazzlings, and stop them. By force if necessary?" she finishes, pointing with her knife to AJ's shotgun.
"Yup, pretty much, at the very least beat the, how would you say it Rainbow, beat the tar out of them?" Twilight asks the athlete who had already hopped the fence and was a third of the way to the mansion. Pinkie slips through the bars and grabs her bat that had been somehow attached to her back with her hands before continuing onward. Rarity had simply opened the gate and walked through, shortly followed by Twilight, AJ, Fluttershy, and Sunset Shimmer.
They all had been silent, watching for guards or the like on the lawn as they made their way to the front steps that led to the door. Twilight took the lead and tried simply opening the door to no avail. Applejack shooed Twilight from the door and leveled the shotgun at the doorknob, blowing a hole in the door where the lock used to be as everyone else covered their ears with their hands.

Siren Manor, Throne Room:

BOOM!
"What the hell?" Aria asked as a loud noise filled the large room she and the other two girls were in. She looked to Adagio, who had seated herself atop her recliner that served as her throne.
"That must be the company. Contrast! Are you going to greet our guests? I know you're still here," Adagio shouted into the open air, looking everywhere for a sign of the wretched demon. When after several minutes passed without any sound the throne room door slowly opened and the Sirens' watched as Twilight Sparkle shoved the door open for the other six girls to rush into the room, with Rainbow Dash and Rarity in front brandishing kitchen knives, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie coming in next with bats, and Applejack entering behind Twilight with her shotgun aimed at Adagio.

"Adagio, you and your sisters will pay for the damage and deaths you caused," Twilight shouted, pointing a finger at the three shocked villains. "Consider this your trial, how do you plea?"
"Guilty," the Dazzlings all said in unison. "Please, can you forgive us?" Sonata asked as she fell to her knees, Rainbow Dash behind her with a look that spoke that she wanted blood.
"Hold on," Everyone looked at the entrance to the room as Sunset Shimmer stepped forth and passed Twilight and the others so that she stood in front of them.
"How are you alive, we were told you were killed by Contrast Contract?" Aria asked before being pushed down by the Fashionista, who set her knife on Aria's shoulder while humming that she should be quiet and not move.
"He, brought me back, as he said he would for everyone who died and even reverse the property damage that was caused by all this. You asked if we can forgive you, well I am willing to risk a second chance on you three," Sunset said, earning surprised looks from everyone in the room, even Twilight.
"Are you sure Sunset, I mean I'm all for forgiveness but these three had you killed and killed half of the city in a matter of days," Twilight asked, placing a hand on Sunset's shoulder. With a nod the element bearers all dropped their weapons and helped the Siren's to their feet.

"NO!" Contrast appeared from the middle of the room and all three Sirens were immediately lifted off the ground by the very darkness that permeated from their eyes and pendants, choking them. "They were supposed to die! That is how I feed!

"I figured as much, that's why you were willing to reverse the deaths, because you would still receive the energy from the possible deaths that the lives of these three had created if you devoured their souls," Twilight stated. "Quick everyone join hands, we might be able to call on the Magic of Friendship to stop him and and reverse the damage caused.

Once everyone had done as they were told, the light of their elements immediately started to envelop them and concentrate into a ball that was aimed at Contrast while everything outside was slowly turning back to normal and bodies replaced by people in a daze-like state as a rainbow that moved through the sky like the Northern Lights covered the entire city.

The ball of light shot out one multi-colored beam that hit Contrast square in the back making him give an animalistic screech before disappearing, the three captive girls falling to the floor, unmoving.

Canterlot Cemetery, 5 Days after the Defeat of Contrast Contract:

Twilight and the Rainbooms were standing in front of three nearly identical headstones. Each had the etching of a Siren on them while below read the names of the three creatures.
"I'm not going to lie, its good riddance if you ask me," Rainbow said, kicking a nearby pebble into Aria's headstone.
"Rainbow Dash! They might have been evil but it was all they knew, besides we got Shimmer back and they wanted our forgiveness which speaks volumes about their understanding of their deeds in the end," Rarity admonished, placing a hand on both Rainbow and Sunset.
"Ah'm just glad the nightmare's over with," AJ stated.
"So am I, but Oh, I wish they hadn't died! If only we acted sooner when Contrast appeared-"
"There was nothing more we could do," Sunset said, cutting Fluttershy off. "Once we saw what he was doing we tried to stop him as fast as we could, it just wasn't fast enough."

The girl's stood silently staring at the graves for a while longer, before slowly each one left until only Twilight remained, who magically disappeared about as quickly as one would blink.
