Night Six: Part Two

I looked around, only seeing the white around me. It soon faded to black and I shot out of my chair. My coat prickled from the cool air crawling through my skin. I went over to the tablet, and put it close to my face. I flicked through cameras, seeing Twilight standing next to my door, and Fluttershy in the bathroom. Pinkie stayed in the dining hall. I could barely see her eyes in the back of the room, staring at the camera. I put down the tablet, and checked both doors. I saw nothing, but heard more noises coming into the room.

I sit down into my seat, my hat sitting on my head, waiting for something to pop out and scream. I didn’t want to die, that’s not what I’m saying, but I wanted something to happen. Phone Mare said the animatronics would become more active as the week progresses; though I hadn’t seen the damned things for a while. I looked at the clock. It was two-o-four, and the percentage was at seventy-three. My eyes were drowsy from my short nap, but I kept them open. I got out of my chair to stretch my legs and I started to pop my hooves. Then I popped my neck, and, well, you should know the rest. I pretty much popped every bone in my body. I my head peeked outside, and put one shaky hoof onto the tile floor.

I walked outside, and flicked my flashlight on. I heard voices say, “Hello?” but I ignored them. I soon resulted to pushing my ears into my hat. It got fuzz in my ears, but I still kept them in. I walked father out of the café and I soon reached the small entrance. The door was closed and locked. I kept my eye on it, waiting for somepony to come in and mess with the animatronics. I shook my head, and looked down the hall. I walked down, seeing Twilight wasn’t there, and I came into my office. I picked up my tablet and started to look through them.

I saw Twilight in the backroom, and heard Pinkie in the kitchen. I put down the tablet and checked the right door. I clicked the light, and I saw Fluttershy standing there. I quickly closed the door, and picked up the tablet again. I looked through the camera, and saw Rainbow Dash out of her small curtain. She sat on the ground, distorted and her hooves, well, sprawled, no, not sprawled. Umm, let me think about that. Her head was twisted to one side, and her back hooves almost looked broken. I don’t know why, but she stood, and I only just noticed this, only having her two front hooves lifting her up. I shook my head, and flicked to the next camera.

I’m sure some of you have figured out my little secret, but I can’t remember anything of it, so don’t ask. The only thing that was strange was that I don’t remember Rainbow Dash being the one who did it. Did she break her own back hooves? That sound awfully impossible, but from what I’ve seen I think that these animatronics can do anything they want, excluding leaving the restaurant. I started to look through cameras once more and I saw Pinkie in the hallway. I heard her small giggle, almost like a little filly laughing. I put down the tablet and I started to flick the lights on and off. I got bored after a while, and started to sing stupid songs to myself, mostly dumb parodies I had made throughout my life.

I was beginning to fall asleep on my hooves. Nothing was happening, and I was bored out of my mind. My eyes felt like they were about to fall out of my head, but I kept them open. I began do dance around the room randomly. I had no idea what to do. If there were any security cameras in there I would be so embarrassed. I started to sing some more songs, wishing I could just go home and slam my face on my pillow to finally get some sleep. I shook my head, and started to stop dancing. The songs in my head soon started to fade, and I started to listen to the flickering lights and the fan in front of me.

I picked up the tablet, and started to look for my old ‘friends.’ I saw Fluttershy standing at the end of the hallway, and Pinkie Pie standing behind her. I then turned to see Twilight next to my door. I clicked the light on, seeing she wasn’t there yet. I picked up the tablet, and I saw it blacking out and fuzzy. I started to click the cameras repeatedly and it soon came back on. I saw Fluttershy next to my door, and Pinkie in the same spot she always was. Twilight was still at my door, and I flicked to Rainbow’s Cove.

I looked at it for a couple seconds, and realized that she was out! I put the tablet down and quickly closed the door. I stepped back shakily as I heard banging on my door. I felt something brush against my tail, and turned to see Pinkie Pie’s blue eyes staring down at me. I closed the door, hearing a clank as the metal door slammed onto her nose. I felt warm tears starting to stream down my face. The tears started to feel sticky. I put my hoof to my face, and saw blood dripping on my blue coat. N-no it was just a hallucination! I was just imagining it! It was my fucking fucked up brain messing with me. I closed my eyes and shook my head, and saw the blood only smudged into my fur. I put my hoof to the floor, not caring for it to leak into the carpet. I checked the light to see if Twilight was there before opening the door, and I turned and sat in my chair. I gently set my hat on the table, and folded my wings in. I wasn’t a big fan of flying.

I started to whistle a small tune, and I looked at the time. It was three twenty-four. I spun around in my chair a while, and heard somepony knock on the door. It sound like a piece of metal against the door, so I kept it closed. Pinkie was most likely trying to mess with me. I started to hear noises again. You’re most likely are thinking, “Dashie, you always hear noises,” but this time, it was different.

It was a song. Not a song I loved. It always scared me. Horrified me, I should say. It was a song that Dash sang after he quit his job. Can’t seem to remember the name; it was the song that a jack-in-the-box would make whenever you wound it up. I shivered as it ran through my mind. There was once an animatronic here named . . . err, what was his name? I can’t remember anything about the old place, really. He, or should I say, it always scared me.

I should stop thinking about it, then. I looked at the time. It was four-o-five. I looked at the percentage reading forty-five percent. I kept my right door closed, terrified of what was outside. I felt much more scared than I usually did in this job. The pay from last night wasn’t that great either. I wanted to punch a wall. But anyway, I picked up the tablet and jumped when I saw Twilight in the backstage room, her eyes only black with two white dots. She was almost identical to Pinkie Pie, just closer to the camera . . . and a bit more terrifying.

I shook my head and I turned to the next camera. Fluttershy stood in the dining hall, and Pinkie was in the kitchen playing her little tune to herself, and giggling. I shivered and I put down to camera. I pushed the light on one side of me and I saw Fluttershy wasn’t there, so I opened the door. Then I checked the other side. I saw Twilight standing in front of me, but her eyes were still dead and cold. I slammed the door shut.

The percentage was at thirty-three percent and the time was five a.m. I played around a bit in my room and soon started to do what I would usually do when I was younger. I stood on my chair, spread my wings, and I put the fan on my face. I pulled open my eyes, and flicked off the fan. I slapped my wings to my sides, and I began to hear Pinkie’s laugh. Was she mocking me or did she see me? I could tell I was blushing. My face always gets hot, and my ears usually come to my head. I’m not a very happy person when it comes to being embarrassed. I checked the cameras, and I saw Pinkie on my right. I closed the door and heard the metal slam into the ground.

I sneezed a couple of times. I’m surprised that I hadn’t sneezed a billion times before. I wasn’t allergic to anything, but the dust in the room usually triggered my allergies. I nearly dropped the camera, but I quickly caught it before it hit the ground. I looked at the time. Five twenty-three. Just about thirty more minutes. I sighed, and I started to look through the cameras again. The percentage was suddenly at eighteen percent. I could still go home . . . and never come back, hopefully.

My drowsy eyes kept folding over and a couple of times I fell out of my chair. At least it woke me up. It was five thirty-two. I was bored out of my mind, so I started to flick through the cameras. I heard Fluttershy in the kitchen, and I saw Twilight in the dining hall. Pinkie still stood to my right, though. She had her eyes to the camera, staring at me. I shuddered, and turned to camera 1C. Rainbow Dash was peeking out of her curtain, her magenta eye staring at me. The percentage only went down two. I shook my head to get that awful sleepy feeling out of my system. I looked at the time. Five forty-nine. I put my hat on, and I turned to click the light on my left on. Nopony was there. I felt my heart beating in my throat, and I looked at the cameras.

I looked at the time reading five fifty-six. I sighed and looked at the percentage. It was at seven percent. I checked to see if Pinkie was gone, and after I saw she was, I opened the right door. The power went down slower than it did a while ago, and I could still make it. It was five fifty-eight. I saw the power at three percent. It went to two, one, then finally to zero. I took one last glimpse at the clock, seeing five fifty-nine before it turned off completely. I saw Pinkie’s face at my door; she giggled, and played her small tune.

I started to cry. I wasn’t going to make it. I wasn’t gonna see Dash or Rainbow ever again. Suddenly I heard the alarm ring, and hoofsteps back towards the stage. My fuzzy eyes began to clear, and I quickly ran towards the door. I jumped outside and ran home as fast I as I could.
