//-------------------------------------------------------// Equestria Girls: Trixie's Christmas Carol -by StarShineGirl- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Every Year Is the Same Thing //-------------------------------------------------------// Every Year Is the Same Thing "Merry Christmas!" cheered all of the Canterlot High students. But Trixie Lulamoon felt different from the others; she had a frozen heart and a hateful attitude. Derpy Hooves noticed her non-happy mood. "Are you okay?" she asked her. "I HATE CHRISTMAS!!" Trixie shouted. All of the students were shocked when they heard this. "I hope you don't mean it," said Sweetie Drops (or Bon-Bon). "I do mean it, Bon-Bon!" said Trixie, "It happens every year, and I really hate it! Why can't we do something different for a change?!?" "Because it's a very special holiday," said Carrot Top, "Christmas is about giving peace and goodwill to everyone." "I don't care about it!" said Trixie, "Every year is the same thing! You know it's boring when you're doing the same thing every day or every month or even every year! It's getting ridiculous!!" "Trixie, you shouldn't disrespect Christmas," said Lyra Heartstrings, "It's a holiday we get to celebrate!" "Yeah, Trixineezer Scrooge!" said Roseluck. "What did you call me?" asked Trixie in annoyance. "Trixineezer Scrooge," said Roseluck, "You're acting like a Scrooge." "Have you ever heard of 'A Christmas Carol'?" asked Lyra. "Yeah, why?" Trixie asked, "It's just a story." "Yeah, but it can happen to you if you don't change your ways," warned Lyra. "It's just a story, okay?!?" Trixie shouted in anger, "Just leave me alone!" With that, she stormed off. The main five and Sunset Shimmer were alarmed when they saw Trixie storming off from Canterlot High. What's with Trixie? Rainbow Dash thought. Wow, thought Applejack, She's as mad as a watchdog! She really needs some cheering up, thought Pinkie Pie. Oh...my.... thought Fluttershy. Why is Trixie mad at this time of year? thought Sunset. "Can you believe it? How can Trixie hate Christmas?" asked Octavia Melody. "You know how Trixie is when it come to Christmas," said Vinyl Scratch (or DJ-PON3), "She'll never change her ways." What? thought Rarity, How absurd can she get? //-------------------------------------------------------// Adagio Dazzle, the Spirit of the Christmas Present //-------------------------------------------------------// Adagio Dazzle, the Spirit of the Christmas Present When Trixie got back, she thought that it was a strange dream and went back to sleep. Once again, an another glowing figure in the form of Adagio Dazzle came and called Trixie's name one volume at a time. "Trixie Lulamoon. Trixie Lulamoon! TRIXIE LULAMOON! TRIX--" "What?!?" Trixie shrieked. "Now, now, Trixie," said Adagio, "Is that good way to greet a guest?" "Wha-what?" Trixie said nervously, "Who-who are you?" "Who am I? Well I'm Adagio Dazzle, the spirit of the Christmas present," said Adagio. "Were you the leader of your group?" Trixie asked. "I still am," said Adagio, "Okay, enough chit-chat. Let's go to your present." Trixie took Adagio's hand and they were transported to a place which was also familiar, but more modern. "This is your Christmas present," said Adagio. Trixie was speechless when she saw the Apple family gathering around at their kitchen table, closing their eyes and lowered their heads down in prayer. Hearing Applebloom saying, "God bless us, everyone", Trixie had the feeling that she never felt before. "I've heard that phrase before," she said, "I've heard it every time when it comes to Christmas." "That's the exact phrase that we'll never forget," said Adagio, "How come you're not able to understand, and not being thoughtful to others other than yourself?" "What do you mean by that?" asked Trixie. "What I mean is that you have a wicked heart, and a selfish mind," said Adagio, "You have to change your ways before the end of your life. If you don't, there will be a serious consequence you will have to face." "What will happen to everyone else?" asked Trixie, "What will happen to me?" Adagio didn't say anything for a few seconds and finally said, "There will be tragic events. Applebloom will die without any remedy to help her feel better, everyone will be glad that you're not around. Wanna know why?" "Wh-wh-why?" asked Trixie nervously. "Because you will be dead on Christmas Day, and your spirit will be down at the fiery underworld," said Adagio, "It's about time to meet your future. You will regret for what you've done." //-------------------------------------------------------// An Unexpected Visitor //-------------------------------------------------------// An Unexpected Visitor When it was getting late and Trixie got home, she was tired all of the sudden. A few hours later, her alarm clock struck 11 pm, and a glowing spiritual figure in a form of Twilight Sparkle came to Trixie and woke her up. Trixie's eyes opened and she was shocked from what she was seeing. "Tw....Tw....Twi...Twilight Sp...Sp..Sparkle?" "The one and only," said Twilight. "Are you....d..dead?!?" Trixie asked. "No," said Twilight, "I'm not dead. Other than that, I was sent here by Princess-or 'Principal' Celestia to warn you that you will be visited by three evil spirits." "Evil?" asked Trixie. "Yes, evil," said Twilight, "Anyway, you might recognize them from last time. My friends and I defeated them during the 'Battle of the Bands'." "You mean those three girls with those red gem necklaces around their necks?" asked Trixie. "Yes," said Twilight, "They are called 'The Dazzlings'. You will be visited by them, starting at midnight." And with that, she was starting to magically vanish. "Twilight, wait!" Trixie called, but it was too late; Twilight already vanished. Trixie sighed heavily and went back to her bed. //-------------------------------------------------------// Sonata Dusk, the Spirit of the Christmas Past //-------------------------------------------------------// Sonata Dusk, the Spirit of the Christmas Past When Trixie's alarm clock struck midnight, an another glowing spiritual figure in a form of Sonata Dusk came to her. "Wake up, Trixie!" she said as she was shoving Trixie, "Wake up wake up wake up wake up wake up wake up wake up wake up!" "Stop shoving me," mumbled Trixie as she was still sleeping, "I'm tired!" "C'mon!" said Sonata, "C'mon c'mon you gotta get up!" "Alright already!" Trixie said in her annoyed tone. As she woke up and stood up, she was kind of shocked to see Sonata's glowing effect. "I remember seeing you, but what's your name?" Trixie asked. "I'm the spirit of the Christmas past!" said Sonata. "So you don't have a name," said Trixie. "No no no!" said Sonata, "I'm really Sonata! My spiritual job name is the spirit of the Christmas past." "That explains a lot," said Trixie in her sarcastic tone. Sonata sighed and was annoyed. "Just let me take you to your past." Trixie said nothing and took Sonata's hand. At an instant, they were transported to Trixie's Christmas past. "This is your Christmas past," said Sonata. Trixie was sort of amazed by looking at her past memories. "Where am I?" she asked, "This seems familiar." "Don't you remember what this popular town was called?" asked Sonata impatiently. Trixie shook her head no but noticed something that she had done before with her childhood friends, but that wasn't convincing to her about how special Christmas is. Just then, she and Sonata went into the empty church and saw the empty manger on the empty stage. "Where did that come from?" asked Trixie as she was focusing at it. "I dunno," said Sonata, "Maybe it was from Bethlehem or something like that." Hearing that response, Trixie was still-shocked. "Wait what?" she said, "What did you say that the whatchamacallit was from?" "That whatchamacallit is called a manger," replied Sonata, "And I told you that it's from someplace called Bethlehem. Speaking of which, have you ever heard of the true miracle happen more than 2,000 years ago?" "Uh....I..um....I..." Trixie didn't know what to say. Sonata sighed and told her the whole nativity story. "And that's what happened," she concluded. Trixie was confused but still speechless. Sonata sighed and said, "Anyway, it's about time for you to see an another visitor." "I know," Trixie said finally.
