Soarin walked down the streets of Ponyville, eyeing the various shops and merchants displaying their wares. The Wonderbolt was visiting Ponyville to help train new recruits for the Ponyville weather team. “Why hello sir,” A raspy voice said. “Welcome to Potions Emporium. How may I help you today?”
A wrinkled, grey unicorn stallion wearing a dusty dark green cloak stepped out of the back room and up to the counter. His mane was white with age and there were several cobwebs stuck in it. “Sorry about the smell, I was preparing a potion for a client and the ingredients are pretty ripe. What can I do for you?”
“I was just looking around,” Soarin replied, turning back towards the door. This place was starting to creep him out. Did one of those jars have eyes in it? “I don’t need any potions right now.”
“Everypony could always use a potion or two.” The old unicorn said, causing Soarin to freeze in surprise. The Pony had somehow gotten out from behind the counter without him noticing and was now blocking the only exit.
