What if you had the ability to make anything happen no matter what it might be? Maybe it's to make the moon out of real cheese or to make stars actually fall from the sky as of why you would I have no clue but lets just say. Would you use this ability to manipulate space and time, this power to break what is consider a "forth wall" to only benefit your dreams and goals, or would you use it to grant the wishes and dreams of those you hold closest to your heart? Would you use it to benefit the world greatly, or harm it beyond repair? Would you use it to make life simpler or more chaotic (although one chaotic demigod is enough)? These are the questions that one certain pink mare must answer as she holds such powers. Who is this mare you might be wondering? Well for you out there that have not figured it out yet, I recommend re-reading the title of this story. Now for you that already knew who this story was about then I would like to say that our story begins in the quiet town of Ponyville where a certain pink pony is enjoying one of her favorite treats.........
Wish Upon A Pinkie
Through the doorway of a small bakery that sat like a over-sized gingerbread house, sat five friends enjoying the treats generously baked for them by their overly hyper and happy going friend. Each seemed to have a smile brought to the face with every bite from these delectable treats. This process of them taking bites then smiling a smile of huge proportion kept going on until finally the treats were beat and tasted defeat.
"HAHAHA, the treats were beat and tasted defeat, that's a good one mister narrator. Oh oh, try this one: the snacks backs were packed....."
"Um Pinkie, who are you talking to exactly?"
"Yeah Pinks, your kind-of scaring us more than you usually do."
"Um, I don't really mind it but it is a little creepy."
"Yes, darling Fluttershy is right, it's a tad creepy and unfitting for a lady"
"Rares, you know not everything has to be lady like."
"Why Applejack, how could you say such a thing, of course everything must be lady like! Anything else is just......uncouth."
"Now see here Rare, just cause.........."
Oh great Pinkie, you've already somehow caused you friends to start squabbling and I haven't even introduced them or you for that matter to the audience.
"But why would you need to introduce us? I mean everyone knows who we are, we have fans, a TV show, and even toys! If anyone should be introduced I would think it would be you cause I mean no one even knows who you are, or if your even important."
............You know what Pinkie, forget this, I'll be back for the rest of the story. Pinkie, you can finish this chapter since YOUR SO IMPORTANT and I'm apparently a nobody so have fun by yourself.
"Silly narrator I'm not going to be by myself, I'll have my friends and millions of fans with me throughout the tale. But I do thank you for thinking of me as a pony of great importance and allowing me to tell the rest of this chapter."
(Sigh) That's not what I was going for but you know what, I don't care. Enjoy yourself Pinkie and if you need me which I hope you wont I'll be.........(sighs again) nowhere in particular.
"Okie Dokey Lokey, now let's get back to the story Pinkie Style."
"Twi, she's still doing it! I think it's time we called a doctor."
Now where did mister mopey pants narrator leave off.....oh that's right, we left off after he told how we ate our treats and I found it funny and wanted to share my rhyme-e sentence but then my friends started to get worried about me and somehow ended up fighting which lead us to this moment right now of me telling the story about how I apparently grant my friends wishes. I guess I should skip to a part where everyone is calmer and start from there. Oh but first I need to tell you all a funny joke I just remembered that I heard from Roseluck, who heard it from Bon-Bon, who heard it from the stallion that really loves jelly, actually I really like jelly too. I mean my favorite is strawberry but I would love it if they made cotton candy favored or even chocolate favored jelly. Which reminds me of this one time...........(This takes awhile)
The sun was shining brightly, bringing warmth and the biggest smiles with it. My friends, finished with their delicious, mouth watering treats that I baked for them, started leaving to run errands they still had to finish before nightfall. I exited last after Rarity as I too had a few party errands and smile emergencies to handle. Now let me think, I first need to go to the hospital to cheer up that little colt that broke his leg. Then I need to head to the schoolhouse to surprise Cheerlie for her birthday, and after that I need to bake that special carrot cake for Angels birthday that Fluttershy asked me to throw although it has to be a small quiet party. I can already tell by what I just wrote that its going to be a fun day although I can't really write and throw parties at the same time so I'll continue after I'm done with my errands. (A couple smiled filled hours later.) WOW-WEE, that was some of the best parties I've ever threw so I'm sorry you couldn't see them as I know you all would have loved them! Now back to me talking about me without me actually noting that I'm talking about me.
As I was putting the final touches on Angels' cake I heard one of my bestest of bestest friends enter Sugarcube Corner sounding all down and gloomy, and as a pony with the destiny to make sure that no face shall go gloomy especially when it's one of my friends, could not stand for it. I quickly finished the cake and headed straight into the front room to see poor Dashie face down in a cupcake she ordered from Ms. Cake.
"What's wrong Dashie? Did you mess up a trick because if you did you shouldn't be sad about as I know you'll get it next time, or did you accidentally break something of anotherponys and they got real mad cause I know how that feels to have somepony mad at you for doing that but then it feels really really good when you make up, or maybe you...."
"PINKIE!"
"Yes Dashie?"
"While those are all good reasons for me to be upset I guess, none of them are the reason I'm upset."
"Ooooohhhhhh, then what has you so upset that your not your normal self?"
"I got my mail today, and one of the letters was test results for the Wonderbolts and I failed........badly."
" But I thought you were already part of the Wonderbolts?"
"I am but just the standard Wonderbolts Reserve. That test was so I could get into an higher place but I'm apparently to stupid for any higher position (sigh)."
"Well you could always get Twilight to help you? You know how much she loves learning, and teaching, and books about learning and teaching, and...."
"I get the point Pinkie but that's the problem right there, she's too much of an egghead to actually help, well help me at least. I mean you remember the first time she tried helping me, I almost ended up failing getting into the Wonderbolts at all! (Sigh) You know Pinkie, sometimes I wish that everything was just simple. Then I wouldn't have to worry about all these things they think I should know and I would just be able to do what I already know and love, which is to fly fast and with style. But I know that will never happen as it seems we're stuck in some-sort of world with never changing rules."
"I wouldn't say that Dash, I mean everything has to change at some point. It's just some things need a little extra help to actually change."
"Wow Pinkie, you've been spending to much time with Twilight. Well whatever, I'll see you later Pinks and thanks for trying to cheer me up."
Dash flew off into the night sky quickly and disappeared behind the clouds within seconds. I started to think, to really think, about what Dash said about wishing for everything to be simple and how I could make it possible. However she was right about the world being forever unchanging when it came to stuff like that and that nothing could truly change it. By the way, for those out there that will say "Well what about Discord" or "Your forgetting about Discord" we know he could change it and that he could create a hole in the plot but he's not here okay so hush. Now back to what I was saying before that there is noway to make Rainbows' dream come true. Or it would be if you didn't have forth wall breaking powers and the support of millions of fans and an author ~~no one knows a or cares about~~ that everyone loves and praises with high regard. Now I just need to think of a way to make it happen, hmm. (An hour later) Nope still nothing, oh well I'll come up with something by the next chapter.
