Applejack wiped the sweat off of her forehead with a tired sigh. After an entire week of advertising Flim and Flam's shop, she was ready to get that banana suit off and be done with it. How about you make yourself useful and help me out of this stupid thing? Instead of sittin' there laughin' like an idiot," Applejack said with some intended venom.
Rainbow didn't seem phased by Applejack's harsh tone. She let out a few more laughs and stepped towards her friend. "Alright, alright. I'll..." Rainbow had to stop when her eyes passed over Applejack at a better angle. Rainbow Dash smoothed out her own shirt and wiped off her fingers as Applejack opened the door. The two tried to look as inconspicuous as possible, but to their embarrassment, both brothers were sitting behind the counter.
Rainbow tried to awkwardly whistle her way to the door, and Applejack gave them a quick wave. Flim coughed and took interest in a shelf on the other side of the room as Flam gave them an uncertain wave back. Applejack thought that she probably should have said something about their business being done, but she figured they probably already knew, and she didn't feel now was the best time for a conversation. Flim and Flam both looked like they didn't exactly miss out on Applejack's little performance. Besides, the door looked infinitely more appealing at that moment to Applejack.
Once they were both out of the door, Rainbow Dash burst out into a fit of giggles. Applejack prodded her in the ribs, getting flustered at the display. "It ain't funny! We're probably gonna have to see them again, you know?"
"Applejack that's hilarious! Did you see their faces? They totally heard you!" Rainbow said between chuckling.
Applejack let out a frustrated huff. "Whatever. I'm goin' home," Applejack said as she turned to leave. Rainbow stopped laughing and shot out a hand towards her, grabbing her by the wrist and stopping her in her tracks.
"Oh no you don't. We're going to hang out at my house."
Applejack turned around and raised an eyebrow. "What? Why?"
Rainbow pulled her close and got right next to her ear. "Because you've got to return the favor."
With a fresh blush and a quickened heartbeat, Applejack was off behind Rainbow Dash, all manner of possibilities of what Rainbow had in mind running through her head.
