Sülvahn, a dragon who's happy with his calm life as protector of the Wastelands. One night while he was returning to his cave to rest, a bright flash catches his attention. This is where he finds Sweetie Belle, a filly who's in pain, lost, and very afraid of him. Sülvahn has never seen a pony before let alone a unicorn, only the tall horses who live in his wastes. He is wise and takes her to his cave to help her regain her strength.
As Sweetie Belle grows to trust Sülvahn, she tells him of her home and how she misses it. He pities her, and Sweetie Belle throws out the notion that he might get a massive prize for returning the student of a princess back to her home. Sülvahn quickly agrees to aid the pony back to her home.
On their quest to Equestia they run into many dangers they wouldn't expect, and turns their quest into a much longer journey to get Sweetie home. An epic adventure full of twists and turns, and budding friendships grows with Sweetie Belle.
