//-------------------------------------------------------// My Little Containment Breach -by MTF Delta-7- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 8: A little Detour //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 8: A little Detour Bailey had been walking for five minutes now, and so far he hasn't seen any signs of the destruction that Tyler was talking about. Something bothered him about Tyler, but he couldn't put his finger on it. Maybe I should stop worrying about it. After all, Tyler has been a huge help to me. Maybe it is just that he is a Class-D, that's all. Bailey thoughts were interrupted by a female voice behind him. "Huh? Sorry, I wasn't listening." Bailey said, hoping whoever said it would repeat themselves. "I said, how long have we been walking?" Rainbow said, becoming more and more impatient as time passes. "Five minutes." Twilight answered Baileys question for him. Bailey and the ponies walked for two more minutes before they came upon a L-shaped Hallway. On the outer corner was an elevator door, and another door was at the end of the hallway. Something about this door wasn't right though. Some sort of gas was spewing from the cracks of the door. "Wait here!" Bailey whispered loudly as he moves ahead of the group to the door. He pressed the button next to the door and it opened about halfway. Bailey looked inside and almost lost his breath. It was the destruction that Tyler saw on the cameras. The whole hallway was covered in stone rubble. Fires were ravaging inside the debris as well. Bailey looked down to the floor of the hall and saw the head of a security guard, decapitated from wherever that body went. Blood and gore topped it all off. "That's definitely not where we are going!" Bailey said as he stumbled backwards, about to puke. "I've seen some nasty things, but that is just... ugh." Bailey added as he looked at the elevator door. The fiery glow from the other hall seemed to point towards it. "So, what now?" Twilight spoke out of the darkness. "I have an idea." Bailey said as he press the "call for elevator" Button labeled on the wall. Within ten seconds the elevator came to a screeching halt on the other side of the door. The door then opened to a little square room. Since neither Rainbow or Twilight seen an elevator before, they couldn't help but to ask. "Why are we going in this room?" Rainbow asked, becoming slightly paranoid. "Nothing to worry about. This room will take us down a level. lets just say we are going on a little detour." Bailey said, getting in the elevator. Soon the other ponies got in. Bailey pressed a button on the wall that was shaped as a down arrow, and the doors closed. The elevator started to moved downwards until it came to a screeching halt. At least the elevator music gave everyone a sense of safety. The door slid open to a dark, rusty brown square-shaped tunnel. Bailey was the first to move forward. Everything was oddly silent. Bailey's breathing picked up as he raised the object in his hands into the air, pointing it ahead. Twilight assumed it was weapon of sorts, but it didn't look like it would shoot arrows. Magic maybe? There was a turn at the end of the hall, which lead into a large room. In the middle of the room was a bunch of wall-looking structures with a yellow line painted on the top of them. "It's a storage area." Bailey said as if one of the others was going to ask a question. As the group moved forward they heard a voice echo out of the darkness. "Who's there?!" The voice said, sounding scared and terrified. "Uh, hel-" Twilight tried to say, but was interrupted by Bailey shutting her mouth with his hand. "Don't talk! It isn't what you think it is." Bailey whispered violently, looking around anxiously. "What is it?' Rainbow whispered. "It is one of the SCP's" Bailey whispered back, slowly moving froward. Bailey then peaked around the corner, seeing nothing. "SCP?" Rainbow said, getting excited on the inside because Bailey is starting to answer her questions. "It is the things I've been running from. I'll tell you more later, now isn't the time to have a conversation." Bailey said, gesturing the mares to move forward. Rainbow frowned as she was, yet again, blocked off from asking questions. Twilight lit her horn up for some extra light, as the room was too dim for her to see. "This SCP is known to imitate our voices. It's like a mix of an alligator and a frog, but it cannot see and it has extremely long teeth. If it looks at you, don't make a single sound." Bailey informed the ponies as they start to navigate the maze that the storage crates seem to create. When the group got to the middle of the room, Bailey saw something that nearly made him scream out of insanity. A pipe caved it and was spewing out smoke in their way. "This shit's getting old, can we just get a break?" Bailey asked, getting frustrated at the situation at hand. "The smoke is not blowing that high, can't we just craw under it?" Rainbow suggested. Bailey turned around and looked at Rainbow. She didn't know how to react, since there was a glass shield covering Baileys face and she couldn't see his expressions. "Dashie, I think you're right." Bailey said positively. Bailey then got onto his stomach and started crawling through the smoke with one thing on his mind. If he can make it, they can make it. They are smaller than he is, so basically he is the hardest part of this ordeal. Once Bailey made it through, he gestured the others to craw through. First it was Rainbow, then it was Twilight. As soon as the unicorn got in a standing position, she looked forward. Something caught the attention of Rainbow and Bailey, but what was it? She thought. Then she heard it. A loud, heavy footstep started to emit from the darkness. The pace of the footsteps got faster and faster until she saw it. It was an SCP. "Where are you?! Show yourself!" The creature shouted. It had the body of an alligator, but legs of a frog. It was also red. Just like Bailey said. Its teeth were as sharp as daggers and it had what looked like spines coming out of its back. "Don't make a single noise, girls" Bailey whispered silently. Sweat started to pour down Rainbow and Twilight's faces. Their hearts were pounding out of their chests. For what seemed like hours were only seconds. The creature started to move forward, looking left and right. After a good minute and a half, Bailey got in a standing position. "Come on, the other hallway is just in front of us. We can make it!" Bailey exclaimed as he moved forwards. The others started to follow. As they got to the entrance of the other hallway though, the sounds of the heavy footsteps picked up again, but this time it was running. Twilight turned around and saw the creature running right at them as it started to scream. "Bailey!" She screamed as she started to run forward. "Oh Shit! RUN!!!" Bailey yelled as he charged into the hallway. Rainbow started sprinting with him. They got to a corner and spun around it and continued to sprint down the hallway. Their hearts were pumping so fast that it felt like it was going to explode. Bailey pulled out and pistol and aimed it behind him, firing three shots. Rainbow and Twilight nearly jumped at how loud the gunshots were. Bailey turned his head forward and ran into the elevator door. He started to spam the button to call the elevator down. "C'mon! C'mon!" Bailey yelled as the elevator would seem to never come. The mares were exhausted as their breaths seemed to do nothing to stop their screaming muscles. Rainbow and Twilight turned, only to see the SCP charging at them. "This is it, Twilight." Rainbow said, tears rolling down her eyes as she grabbed hold of Twilight. "I am so sorry I brought you into this" she muttered out. At that moment Bailey turned around with his carbine and started unloading on the hideous creature. It started to let out blood gurgling screams, but the bullets were only enough to slow the monster down from its previous speed. The blood of the monster was spewing out all over the walls, but as if it cared. The monster was only 20 feet away, and as it got closer, the lavender unicorn spoke out. "NO!" She yelled as she pointed her horn at the creature. It lit up as a transparent purple wall appeared in front of the group. The SCP crashed into the wall, pushing Twilight back a little. Her face was covered in sweat due to how much energy she was using. The monster kept trying to charge them but only to crash into the walls of the shield. "I can't hold it for much longer!" She struggle to say as the shield seemed to weaken only more and more. Ding! A distinctive sound was heard behind the group as the elevator doors opened. "Hurry! Get in!" Bailey yelled as he pulled Rainbow into the elevator. Twilight back slowly, making sure her shield ran out as soon as she got into the elevator. Bailey pressed the up arrow button on the elevator and the doors started to shut. The shield ran out just at that time. The monster made one last attempt to catch its prey. It charged forward and leaped into the air. By the time the doors shut a huge bang of the monster hitting the door echoed in the elevator. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: The Test //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: The Test Bailey had now passed into the Light Containment zone, passing an office. "Hey Bailey! Did you hear? SCP-106 broke containment a few hours ago!" A fellow guard yelled to Bailey. "YES! I HEARD THAT FROM YOU ALREADY! NOW PLEASE STOP TELLING ME!" Bailey screamed at the top of his lungs. inhaling and exhaling heavily afterwards "Jesus! What the hell is your problem?!" The guard asked, backing away. "Sorry, I'm just pissed because of the chief." Bailey aplogized. "I understand. Chief's a bitch, but don't let him get to you Bailey." Bailey nodded. After a quick conversation, Bailey left, heading for the containment of SCP-173. After passing a few hallways, Bailey came to a three way tunnel system. One way leads to the Class-D holding cells. Class-D's are human test subjects taken from either Death Row or innocent people on rare occasions. The other way was an overpass that lead to the control room. Bailey went down the tunnel and onto the overpass. He reached the door on the other side and entered an atrium. Bailey then entered a door to the left, which lead into an elevator. After taking it up, the door opened, revealing the control room. To the left is a door and a few windows, showing the blast door that sealed the containment chamber of SCP-173. to the Right was a bunch of equipment, probably for research. on the far end of the room was the intercom operator. "Captain Bailey! You're here a little early." The person said to Bailey with an eyebrow raised. The intercom operator wore a standard white uniform with a SCP logo, like everything else in the facility; Literally; everything on Bailey is white except his helmet, vest, and boots. "Okay, so here's the test subjects. D-1253, D-9323, and D-9341" The intercom operator announced to Bailey. "Where's the other guards?" Bailey asked. "Uh. Either guarding the cell block or on their way" The intercom operator replied. About eleven minutes later, two Class-D's entered the room just outside the chamber. Another Class-D entered the room shortly after. The intercom operator approached the microphone, while flipping a switch on the console. "All Class-D personal, Please enter the containment chamber!" The intercom operator announced through the P.A. system. Two of the Class-D's moved into the containment chamber. One of them hesitated to move forward. "Subject D-9341! Enter the containment chamber or you will be terminated!" The announcer shouted, startling both Bailey and the D. D-9341 then walked into the containment chamber, allowing the brown, bulky blast door to shut behind him and the other two D's. One of the monitors inside the control room came on and presented a view of the chamber. On one side was the three slightly irritated Class-D's and on the other side was SCP-173. The thing had short arms and legs, but a ridiculously large head. It was tan colored. The face was distorted, having a huge red and black oval in the center of its face, two green ovals on the top corners, and two slightly smaller black ovals on the bottom corners of its face. Bailey thought it was the second ugliest thing he had seen in his eleven years in the foundation, next to SCP-106. Bailey was gradually getting nervous, something didn't seem right. Was it the fact that SCP-173 had breach containment many times before, or was it that SCP-106 breach containment earlier that morning. Bailey had enough. He reached for his radio on his thigh, then pressed it up against his ear. "Franklin, this is Captain Bailey. Where is the rest of Security Team five?" He had asked into the radio receiver. There was a small delay before Franklin responded. "Uh, The team has been split into two fire-teams. One is where you are at, the other is currently re-containing SCP-106." Franklens voice sounded over the static of the radio. "Please approach SCP-173". Only one of the D's approach the statue, who is staring at the wall. As the intercom operator neared the mic to shout at the two resistant D's, the blast doors opened, making both Bailey's and the operators eyebrows raise. One of the Class-D's stepped out of the chamber, while the other two stayed in. "Uh, there seems to be a problem with the door control system. The door isn't responding to any attempts to close it, so-". The room started to rumble. Then the sound of a distant explosion filled the room, followed by distant gunshots. Both Bailey and the intercom operator tensed up. Bailey Reached for his radio to ask what was going on. The intercom operator continued with a nervous tone. "Please maintain a direct eye contact with SCP-173 and wait for further instruc-" The intercom and electricity started to surge, then the lights went out. "What the fu..." the Class-D closest to the statue was interrupted. CRACK! A sound of something breaking echoed throughout the room. The lights came back on, revealing a dead Class-D, and the statue facing the other Class-D's. Then the lights went out again. CRACK! Another loud sound echoed even louder. The power came back on and the statue was standing slightly past the blast doors, with D-9341 both keeping his distance and maintaining eye contact. Bailey, with a terrified expression, singled the guard on the balcony to shoot the D and call for extra security. The facility began to tremor as the power flickered twice before going out again, followed by a distant explosion. When the power came back on, SCP-173 was on the balcony, causing both Bailey and the intercom operator to jump back against the wall. The guard on the balcony fired his FN P90 twenty-three times at the statue, but to no avail. The power ultimately failed, followed by the noise of something falling and another thing moving through what seemed like the vents. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: Darkness //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: Darkness When a pair of emergency lights came on, the room was empty. D-9341, the only alive Class-D, had just left the room. "We need to get the fuck out of here!" Yelled the intercom operator. "I couldn't agree more!" Said Bailey. both of them ran to the elevator, which was already up on the floor they were on. As Bailey and the intercom operator board the elevator, someone came on the P.A. system. "The site is experiencing multiple Keter and Eucid level containment breaches! Full site lockdown initiated!" Multiple explosions and gunshots rang out from the distance. Screams of terror and agony can be heard in the mix. Bailey pressed a button next to the door, causing the door to shut and the elevator to move. Bailey got slight butterflies in his stomach from the elevator moving downward. The elevator door opened, presenting the now dark atrium. "Okay, the shortest way to the evac shelter is through the left corridor after we cross the overpass" Bailey said to the intercom operator, who than nodded in understandment. As Bailey and the intercom operator proceeded, a distant explosion shook the entire facility, causing two pipes on the wall to break free of their hinges. Both pipes hit Bailey and the operator in the head. luckily for Bailey, he was wearing a riot helmet, so it only knocked him out. Unfortunately, the operator wasn't wearing one, so the injury was fatal. Bailey eyes started to open. It was difficult, but he managed to open them. "What happened?" Bailey said to himself, rubbing his helmet. Then his senses returned to him. He looked around. Everything was oddly silent, so silent, that he can here his own heartbeat. Bailey knew he wasn't safe, far from it. He got up. His head was slightly throbbing from where the pipe had hit him. When his eyes finally adjusted to the darkness, he saw a body on the floor. It was the intercom operator. He had suffer from massive head trauma. Their was nothing Bailey could do for him. "Well, better him than me!" Bailey said. He started walking blindly, bumping into the doorway that lead into the atrium. Slightly moaning in pain, Bailey pushed the button and the door opened, revealing the bridge that lead over the office. He proceeded forward. About halfway down the bridge, a huge bang echoed throughout the room, startling Bailey. Bailey sighed with slight relief. "It's only the vents. I need to remind myself that that happens daily". He continued down the overpass, reaching the end of the hallway. When Bailey entered the three-way tunnel, a feeling of creepiness came over him. He felt as if he was being watched. After a few seconds, he turned around. Bailey saw two white dots next to each other above the door, almost as if they were eyes staring. He closed his eyes and shook his head, seeing nothing. "It is probably my imagination." He laughed nervously. Bailey then proceeded through the right tunnel to a door, marked "Cell Block D." He pushed the red button next to the door, thus opening it. he walked into the room. On his left were two sets of five doors on each side. To his right there were two sets of 16 doors. Bailey turned right and proceeded. Then he stopped, glancing at a door on the right. It was open. Bailey readied his FN P90, and walked forward slowly and carefully. A pool of blood came into his sight and got larger the closer he got. Bailey turned the corner and looked into the cell, Seeing a Class D. The D had short brown hair. His face had a couple of freckles here and there. He was wearing an orange jumpsuit. All Class D's wore these to Identify them from others. On the right side of the D's head was a huge slash. The D was holding his chest, where three more slash marks where located. Bailey Aimed his gun at him, taking slow breaths. "Wait! Don't shoot!" The Class D struggled to say. He had a Russian accent, although it had a bit of Ukraine in it. "Yeah, and why not?" He said, putting slight pressure on the trigger. "Because if you do, you will be all alone in this facility." He said. Bailey Lowered his gun a little, but managing to keep the gun aimed at the Class-D. "Also, I'm one of the i-innocent Class D's. I was t-taken off the street and k-knocked out." The D stuttered. Bailey lowered his weapon fully. "Okay. I guess trust you, but if you do anything, and I mean anything stupid, I will not spare you. I'm not even supposed to be sparing you!" Bailey said. He then looked down at the pool of blood. "Is that yours?" "No. I-I think it was one of the guards. Last thing I remember was the sirens going off and a guard opening the door to shoot me. I tried disarm him but something tall flew at us, and it was fast! It hit me and knocked me out, I don't know about the guard though." He said, appearing as if he was struggling to breath. "Wait! it can't be! It can't get out!" Bailey said to himself, beginning to nervously pace around the cell. "What?" The Class D asked. His eyes followed Bailey. The question only seemed to make Bailey pace around faster. "What?!" He screamed, startling Bailey. "What did it look like?" Bailey asked, still pacing nervously. "I didn't get a good look, but it looked tall, and it was very pale." The Class D responded. "We can't be here for much longer. Here's a bandage, get yourself patched up and we will be out of here." Bailey handed him the bandages and the Class D started to patch himself up. "Hey, I am going to wait over here. Alright?" Bailey said. "Okay." Replied the Class D. Bailey leaned against the adjacent wall and sat down. He had finally realized the situation. Are we the only survivors? Can we make it to the Evacuation Shelters? Will we get out?! The thoughts flooded Baileys mind until he shut the out. Bailey had to think of a plan, or else... Bailey sat still, thinking, when he felt something on his arm. He ignored it for a second, but something urged him to turn his head. Bailey eyes widened as he saw a decomposed mucus-covered hand on his arm. The Hand was coming out of the wall. Before Bailey could react, another hand jarded out of the wall and grabbed Bailey's face. "He-" Bailey screamed before his voice was interrupted by the hand gripped around his mouth. He struggled for a way to get out of the things grip, but to no avail. Bailey knew very well what was happening. It was SCP-106. Bailey managed to grab hold of his Shock baton and jabbed 106's arm. SCP-106 didn't mind the shock, but the light emitted was enough to make it release Bailey and disappeared back into the wall. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5: The Exit Strategy //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 5: The Exit Strategy Bailey jumped from the wall and started to show agony. 106 was covered in corrosive mucus, and Bailey was burned. He reached into one of his vest pockets and pulled out a container that contained a pink liquid. Bailey opened the container and poured the substance on the burns. "Fuck!" Bailey moaned. After a minute of grunting, he got up and walked into the cell. "Did you not hear any of that?!" Bailey shouted to the Class-D, who was sitting on his cot, wrapping the bandages. "What?" The Class-D asked. "All that noise outside? I nearly got killed!" Bailey screamed with anger. "And I thought you were the guard here..." The Class-D smarted off. Bailey walked up to the Class-D and shoved him against the wall, pinning his arms. "listen here, bud. I got better things to do then deal with your bullshit. Now if your not going to cooperate, then tell me. I'll just shoot you and get on with my day." Bailey paused. "Now, are we going to work together or not?" Bailey said ominously. "Yeah yeah, we'll work together, Mr. Guard." The Class-D said, rolling his eyes. "Good. Now, are you done bandaging yourself up?" Bailey asked. The Class-D responded with a yes while wrapping up the last of the bandage. "Alright. Follow me. I have a plan, and remember what I said earlier. Don't try anything stupid, or you will be a good as dead." Bailey warned the Class-D.The two started down the cell block, turning left back into the three-way tunnel. "Alright, we are going through the main level of the facility." Bailey informed the Class-D. The Class-D nodded his head in understandment and they continued towards the overpass. The overpass had a door that connects to the office below it. Bailey hit the button next to the door and walked down the stairs, examining the office for any rouge guards or SCP's. He then signaled the Class-D to come down the steps. They then proceeded through the office, which had been reduced to a mess. It was evident that SCP-106 had been through because of the huge corrosion stain in the middle of the room. There was a door at one side of the room. Bailey and the Class-D decided to go through it. The room connected to the office was another three-way room, but had much more space. The group went left and entered a Hallway. At this point the facility started to seem like a maze as the group went left and right and left again through Hallways and passageways. "So, whats your name?" Bailey asked. "Why do you want to know?" The Class-D said. "Well for one, we are a team. And two, because I want to fucking know." Bailey replied, being a smart ass. "My name is Tyler. what's yours?" Tyler Asked. "Captain Bailey, just call me Bailey." Bailey responded. "So, how long have you been here, Bailey?" Tyler asked, trying to stir the conversation up. "At this site, four years. In the Foundation, 11 years. I joined in 2003 after 2 years of the military." Bailey replied. "Okay. So where are you taking me?" Tyler asked. "I'm taking you to the Sec-" Bailey was interrupted by the sound of gunshots, which were followed by two tiny explosions and a loud crash. Bailey continued, "I'm taking you to the Security Center, we are going to stay there for a while." Tyler was startled. "What was that?" He asked, looking around nerviously "Your guess is as good as mine. C'mon! We can't stay here for much longer." Bailey said, charging ahead. Bailey opened the next door up to a hallway with a door to the right. The door was open. "Someones been through here." Bailey whispered. "Well the door could just been open when the breach happened." Tyler whispered back. "No, this is a test room. The door is locked until testing occurs. No test were schedualed." Bailey replied, readying his P90. As he went through the door, another one to the left of it marked "Test Room". Bailey turned into the room, followed by Tyler. The room had two windows and a door. One of the windows was broken. "Yeap, somethings been through here," Bailey said, looking around. "lets go." As they where turning around, the emergency lights shut off. Something was rattling through the vents. "Tyler! Do you here that? Something is in the vents!" Bailey whispered. "Yeah I hear it." Tyler whispered back. The lights flickered back on as one of the vent covered felt onto the floor. A statue fell to the floor a second later. It was SCP-173. "What the fuck is that?!" Tyler screamed. "SCP-173, keep your eyesight on it. tell me when you are going to blink." Bailey said to Tyler, backing away. "Why?!" He screamed again. "It only moves if it isn't under eyesight." Bailey scrambled to say. "Okay! Okay," Tyler paused. "Blinking" Bailey and tyler exchanged blinks as they both moved out of the room. Once they were out. Bailey sealed the door. Then they moved out of the first room and sealed the other door. "We need to be more aware of our surroundings. Look out for those vents." Bailey informed tyler as they continued down the hallway. After a good thirty minutes of walking in complete silence, the group came up to one of the facility checkpoints. This one had two doors, which marked "Heavy Containment". Bailey pulled out his Level 4 Key Card and inserted it to the slot. ERROR. UNAUTHORIZED KEY CARD DETECTED. ACCESS DENIED. Bailey tried again, ERROR. UNAUTHORIZED KEY CARD DETECTED. ACCESS DENIED. "What the fuck?! It was working earlier!" Bailey exclaimed. He kept on inserting the key card, but the same "ERROR" message kept popping up. Bailey started to get pissed, threatening to shoot the lock if he has to. "Hey. Are the windows bulletproof?" Tyler asked Bailey, hoping that he doesn't shoot him out of anger. "No, actually. No they aren't." Bailey calmed. He then pointed his primary at the window and shot the window out. "Thanks, Tyler" Bailey said. They both then craw into the security post and shot the window on the other side of the doors out. "This place gives me the creeps!" Tyler quoted, noticing the atmosphere of the checkpoint. "Your telling me! I have to pass through here everyday. You'll get used to it. Oh! By the way, this next zone will surely give you the creeps." Bailey said. "Why is that?" Tyler asked. "You'll see" Bailey said, opening the next door to a tunnel covered in rust. "Where are we?" Tyler asked, shivering. "Heavy Containment, it's where we store most of the SCP's. It's also where the Security Center is located." Bailey said, moving through the corridor. Tyler followed. "So how far is it?" Tyler asked, sounding impatient "Actually it's down the hallway here." Bailey sounded surprised. Tyler couldn't help but to question it. "Why did you seem so surprised?" Tyler asked. "Because I usually don't take the direct routes to things. I take the service tunnels." Bailey replied. They then open the door at the end of the hallway to another three-way, but this one was different. The walls were like the ones in the light containment, not rusty or tunnel-like. Also they were lined with a yellow strip through the middle of the walls. One of the halls was considerably longer and had a weird contraption in the middle of it. Tyler couldn't help but to gaze at it. "It is a Tesla gate. Shocks anything that goes through it," Bailey paused as he pulls a lever. A light on the contraption switches from red to green. "You can pretty much guess that this is where the Security Center is." Bailey and Tyler walked through the contraption and to the door at the end of the hallway, which marked "Security Center". The door had a camera above it and a keypad to the right. Bailey punched in a code and the door slid open. Tyler had just realized that the doors in Heavy Containment were different. "And here we are." Bailey sighed with relief. He flipped a switch and the lights turned on. the door was in a corner of the room. To the left of the door was a small room with a window. Tyler looked in and saw C.C.T.V. camera monitors. To the wall adjacent to the door was a blast door, which marked "Armory, Level 3 Security Required" In the far left corner of the room was a long desk which behind it was a door that marked "Barracks". Lastly to the far right of the room was a door which marked "Firing Range Alpha". Tyler was in awe to see that the room was well maintained. He also, for once during the breach, felt safe. "Do you like it?" Bailey said. "Uh, yeah! We're safe!" Tyler exclaimed. "Well, it is part of the plan." Bailey replied. "The plan?" Tyler curiously said. "Yes, the plan. Us security guards are trained to head to the Security Center in an event like this. They call it the exit strategy, and so far, I'm liking it!" //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6: A Spell Gone Wrong //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6: A Spell Gone Wrong Twilight and Rainbow were chatting about the Daring Doo book in Twilight's tree library. "And especially that part where Daring swooped in and knocked out Dr. Chaos!" Rainbow exclaimed, pointing a feather from her wing at Twilight. "Not to mention how she had gotten herself in and out of that trap! That was interesting." Twilight responded. The lavender unicorn then sat back in her chair and sighed, staring at Rainbow Dash. "What?" Rainbow asked. "I am just happy that you got into books! I mean, you used to think that books where just for eggheads," Twilight paused, "And now, look at you!" "Yeah well, I got over that. Besides, Daring Doo is my inspiration, next to the Wonderbolts." Rainbow said, examining the book she had just read. "Speaking of the Wonderbolts, how did you crash into my wall in the first place." Twilight asked, with a concerned look on her face. "Not this again. I told you that I was doing tricks and I crashed!" Rainbow stood up. "Yeah but, what trick were you doing?" Twilight responds at Rainbows sudden anger. "A frontal dive. You gotta understand Twi, being a pegasus is hard, especially doing air tricks!" Rainbow yelled, approaching the unicorn. "At least you aren't a unicorn, doing tricks with magic!" Twilight yelled back. "Oh yeah? Okay then, turn me into a unicorn!" Rainbow said with a grin you would see rivals give each other. "So you can do-" Twilight paused. "I'm sorry, what?!" Twilight exclaimed. "That's right, a unicorn" Rainbow Continued to grin. "I'm not sure if that's oka-" "C'mon Twilight. If it isn't okay than you can blame me. I want to see how hard it is to be a unicorn." Rainbow interrupted Twilight, become more and more eager as the minute passes. Twilight hesitated for a moment before continuing, "Fine then, but wait here. I have to go to the archives to fetch a spell book." Twilight said with a reluctent tone in his voice, teleporting away. Rainbow then came up behind Spike, who was putting more books on the shelf. "Hey Spike!" Rainbow yelled. Spike jumped into the air from being startled. "Hey Rainbow..." Spike said, continuing to organize books. "So I heard what you gave Rarity for Hearts and Hooves day." Rainbow whispered into Spikes ear. "Uh, I don't know what you're talking about." Spike said, starting to sweat. "Are you sure? Because I heard that you gave her a box of chocolates." Rainbow said, starting to smile. Spike turned around, blushing lightly. "How do you know?!" Spike said, covering his mouth afterwards. "Because Rarity told us." Rainbow said, giggling. Spike then started to lower his head down, blushing even more. "Hey, don't be embarrassed. I think it is kinda cute." Rainbow said, trying to comfort spike. "How is that cute?!" Spike yelled, throwing his arms into the air. "Because you are a young baby dragon who has a crush on a adult mare," Rainbow said, laughing. "Hey, don't get too worked up, I'm teasing you spike." Rainbow finished her sentence. At that moment Twilight teleported back with a book the size of a dictionary. "Here it is," Twilight said, setting the book down on a table. "Starswirl the Bearded's guide to magic spells!" Twilight then proceeded to open book, flipping through pages. "So Twilight, are you going to teach me any spells when I'm a unicorn?" Rainbow asked. "We'll see." Twilight wasn't interested in answering back. "Here it is, the species swapping spell," Twilight paused. "A 24-hour spell that switched races of ponies or species entirely. Okay, you ready Dash?" Twilight asked. "Yes ma'am!" Rainbow exclaimed, ready for the challenge. "Alright. Here we go!" Twilight said as her horn started to light up. She closed here eyes and asked for quietness. Right before she could preform the spell, however, Pinkie Pie busted into the tree library. "HEY GALS!!! WHO WANTS SOME LEFTOVER CUPCAKES!" Pinkie screamed as loud as she can, startling Twilight. The unicorns eyes opened as Twilight's horn became brighter and brighter until a bright flash filled the room. Spike and Pinkie covered their eyes as the flash seemed brighter than the sun. Within a second the flash was gone, and all that was left were Pinkie and Spike. Twilight and Rainbow Dash had disappeared. *********************************************************************************************************************** "So tell me about yourself, Bailey." Tyler said to Bailey, who was cleaning his P90. "What do you want to know?" Bailey asked. "What type of stuff do you like" Tyler asked. "Oh, well lets see," Bailey paused. "I like gaming, both console and PC gaming. I also like a few television shows, but I rather not talk about that." Bailey said. "What shows?" Tyler asked. "Really, I don't like to talk about it." Bailey said, trying to steer away from the question. "C'mon, tell me!" Tyler insisted. "Fine, fine. One of them is a certain girl show..." Bailey paused. "Go on." Tyler issued, gesturing for the guard to continue. "Fine," Bailey sighed. "It is My Little Pony, ever heard of it?" Bailey said, wanting to kill himself. "No fucking way!" Tyler walked up to Bailey and had the ugliest grin Bailey had seen. "Yeah yeah, make fun of me. Just get over with it..." Bailey ordered. "Why would I do that? I love that show!" Tyler exclaimed. "Hold on," Bailey said, thinking he had misheard Tyler. "Come again. My Little Pony?" Bailey asked, giving Tyler a confused look. "Yeah!" Tyler agreed. "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic?!" Bailey Questioned, beginning to smile. "That's the one!" Tyler said. "Holy! Fucking! Shit!" Bailey yelled with pauses in between the words. "I knew there was bronies, but out of all people, a Class-D?" Bailey Questioned. "Crazy, isn't it?" Tyler asked. "Yes it is, my friend. Yes it is." Bailey said, smiling. Bailey then went over to the blast door and inserted his Level 4 Key Card into a slot next to it. ERROR. NOT ENOUGH POWER TO OPEN. "What in the?! You son of a bitch!" Bailey Exclaimed, about ready to grab his gun and blow his brains out. "Hey Bailey, is that a motion sensor?" Tyler asked, pointing towards a motion sensor laying in the corner of the room next to the firing range. "Yeah, but what good will it do?" Bailey responded, trying to figure out how to open the blast door. "Well I was an engineer before I came here. Those motion sensors can, in fact, be turned into generators." Tyler said, examining the motion sensor. Bailey had almost forgot that the facility was in emergency power. "That's brilliant!" Bailey said. "But don't you need tools?" "Just electric tape and a screwdriver, not much." Tyler said. It took a second for Bailey to respond. "You can use the edge of my knife as a screwdriver. I think there is some tape in the barracks." Bailey said, handing Tyler his knife. "Don't be stupid with that, remember?" Bailey said, proceeding to the barracks. When he got to the door, Bailey turned around. He saw Tyler unscrewing the screws off one of the panels. Bailey then hit a button and the door opened. Bailey went inside the barracks, which had twelve bunks on one side and twelve on the other. Bailey started searching the footlockers at each bunk, even having to shoot some locks off of some, until he found some electric tape in the 7th footlocker. "A-ha!" Bailey said at the sight of the tape. He examined the tape to make sure it was the type of tape that Tyler needed. Indeed it was the tape. As he turned to return to Tyler, the room started to rumble over a monstrous roar. It wasn't far either. After about two seconds multiple gunshots were heard until the roar happened again, with the room shaking and loud crashing sounds originating from the source of the roar. Bailey ran into the lobby and saw Tyler, who has a shocked expression on his face. "What the hell was that?" Tyler said with a scared tone. "Sounded like SCP-682." Bailey noted. "I don't even want to know what that thing looks like!" Tyler yelled. "Trust me, you don't. Oh, here is the tape." Bailey said, tossing the electric tape over to Tyler. "Thanks" Tyler then started to clip the wires with Baileys knife and rewiring them to other wires. Within two minutes the room lit up with the primary lights. "It worked?!" Bailey was actually surprised. He had doubted Tyler from the start, but now, he was thankful that he had came along. "Wait, let me do this" Bailey said, inserting the key card into the slot again. ACCESS GRANTED. The blast door make a loud gear-like noise and opened up to an array of body armor, guns, and ammunition. Bailey walked in the armory and noticed that one of the vents had caved in. "That may be a problem." Bailey took note of it. "Hey Bailey, look! The camera monitors are wor-" Tyler paused "Uh Bailey? Come look at monitor 3! Now!" Tyler yelled. Bailey than ran over to Tyler. "What is it?" Bailey said as he looked at monitor three. What he saw shocked him. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 7: An Unexpected Sight //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 7: An Unexpected Sight "What kind of SCP bullshit is this?!" Bailey exclaimed as he looked at the camera monitor. Bailey saw what looked like a lavender unicorn accompanied by a cyan pegasus with a rainbow colored mane. He scrambled to make sense of the situation. "Is that Twilight and Rainbow Dash?!" Tyler said with extreme surprise. Tyler didn't receive an answer, so he assumed Bailey was in a trance or was shocked. "Uh, Bailey? Did you hear me?" Tyler asked, but Bailey wasn't beside of him. Tyler then turned around, seeing Bailey sprinting towards the armory. A few seconds later Bailey ran out of the armory with a radio transceiver, a pistol, and a M4A1 Carbine. Bailey handed Tyler one of the radio transceivers and the pistol. "Tune to channel 1 and stay here!" Bailey told Tyler, struggling to breathe from he sprinting he had just done. "Do you know where they are?" Tyler asked. "Yes. They are not that far from the checkpoint. Man this better not be SCP-895 screwing with us." "SCP-895?" Tyler grew curious as to what it was. "Camera disruptions, I'll talk about it later." Bailey said as he turned to the door. "Also I need you to do something." Bailey added, readying his carbine and turning on the radio he had. They then head outside of the room and stopped at the Tesla gate. "Tyler, listen! This is important! When I cross this gate, flip that lever. Do not let anyone else but me and them in!" Bailey paused, checking his gear for the last time. "Be as quiet as you can. The code to the security door is 9031. When I come back, turn off the gate, okay?" Bailey informed Tyler. "But can't you flip the lever on the other side of the gate?" Tyler had asked Bailey. Bailey then crossed the gate and shot the other switch. . "Just so that anyone else can't get in," Bailey seemed to have read Tyler's mind before he asked another question. "I'll be back in a while. Stay safe, and if SCP-173 comes in, keep eyesight. lure it outside if you can. Farewell." Bailey said his goodbye and took off down the hall. Tyler then flipped the lever and the light on the Tesla gate turned from green to red. "Twilight, where are we?" Rainbow asked, looking around only to find themselves in a hallway of sorts. "I don't know, but I don't like it," Twilight paused as she lit her horn for light. "I think we are underground." She had then added. "Hello? Is anypony there?" Twilight asked, listening in for any responses. "Hey Twi, do you here something?" Rainbow asked, moving closer to her companion. "I think I do!" Twilight paused as they listened in. "Sounds like rumbling." She took note. The rumbling got louder until a distant explosion filled the ponies ears. "What is going on here?" Twilight asked Rainbow, hoping for a guess. "Maybe somepony dropped something." Rainbow assumed, starting to shiver from fear. "That wasn't an object. Sounded like TNT!" Twilight responded to Rainbows guess. The sounds of metal clicking echoed out of the darkness. The sound gradually kept getting louder. "What is that?" Rainbow asked, now beginning to hug Twilight. Twilight hugged back. "I don't know, Rainbow!" Twilight said, hoping she wasn't loud enough for whatever the source of the sound is to hear her. The clicking became louder and louder until it was clear that it was footsteps. A hydraulic-like sound came out of the darkness until a tall, two-legged figure stopped in front of them. "Stand back! I'm warning you!" Rainbow said as she stepped in front of Twilight. The tall figure didn't flinch from the warning at all. That's when it spoke. "Listen, I am not here to hurt you." The figure said as it knelled down to the floor. The ponies stepped back a little. The figure continued on. "I am here to escort you, not to hurt you." The figure said again. Twilight started to examine it. The thing looked like it was wearing some sort of clothing. It also appeared to have a chest plate, like the kind you would see on a royal guard, but black and covered with pockets. It also had a helmet with a piece of yellow-tinted glass on the front of it. The creature had some sort of work boots on as well. Twilight assumed it was a guard of some sort, and proceeded to make contact with it. "Who are you?" She asked with fear in her voice. "The name's Bailey!" It responded with a friendly voice. "Nice to meet ya!" The figure added. Twilight assumed it was male due to how deep the voice is, yet she could be wrong. "What are you, sir?" She asked. "More importantly, where are we?" Rainbow then added. "Listen, I'll answer your questions later, but right now I gotta get you somewhere safe." Bailey said. "Why?!" Both of the mares simultaneously said. "Because both of you are in grave danger! I'll explain later, just hurry!" Bailey said, looking around and scanning the area. All of the sudden, another voice rang out of the darkness, but much farther away as it was muffled. "Please no! Get the fuck away from me!" The voice said. A dark and evil sounding laughter followed it after wards. "No! No! NNNOOO!" The voice yelled as a blood gurgling scream can be heard. The same laughter could be heard in the agonizing screams. After a few seconds a sound of a man getting slashed echoed throughout the hallway. "We need to get out of here. Follow me! Bailey said with worry. The mares exchanged looks of fear and then proceeded to follow Bailey. They walked in silence for a minute until Rainbow Dash spoken up. "Uh excuse me, but where are you taking us?" she said, trying to provoke an answer. "To this facilities Security Center. It is our best bet." Bailey said, turning his head to the right to make sure that he is heard. "Why should we trust you?" Rainbow added. "Well for one, I'm your best shot at survival." Bailey argued back. "Survival of wha-" "Rainbow! Just shut up and keep moving! I'll explain later, for Christ sake!" Bailey screamed at the top of his lungs, slightly picking up his pace in fear that he just provoked a SCP. Rainbow looked at Twilight, only to see her giving rainbow a irritated look. Rainbow expression grew from anger to sadness. Why can't anyone just answer her questions? It isn't like it is going to kill anyone. Is it? "Rainbow. Whats wrong?" Twilight interrupted her train of thought. "Nothing, Twi." Rainbow responded, trying to make her voice sound as calm as possible. The group came upon another three-way. One of the other doors was open from Bailey, the other one closed. As the group reached the middle of the room, Bailey stopped and gestured the group to stop moving. Rainbow and Twilight saw that the creatures attention focused on the closed door. "Do you hear that?" Bailey whispered. "What?" Rainbow and Twilight responded. "Shh!" Bailey ordered. The group listened in until they could hear what got Baileys attention. "Hello?... Guys?...C'mon... Stop joking..." A voice echoed through the other side of the door. Bailey slowly approached the door. Twilight and Rainbow saw Bailey raise the object in his hands. Was it a weapon? They thought. "Guys?... Hello?... Is there someone else here?... Hello? Anyone?!" The voice continued. Bailey opened the door, which lead to a room with a blast door and a red tint. Another one of the creatures stood in the middle of it, but with a different uniform of sorts. Bailey assumed it was one of the site janitors. "What the hell?!" The man said as he stared back at Bailey. He couldn't see the ponies behind him though. "Jeff, it's me, Captain Bailey!" Bailey yelled towards the janitor. "Oh!" The janitor said, starting to walk forward. "It's just you Bai-" The janitor was interrupted by the decomposed hand of SCP-106 darting out of the ceiling, grabbing the man and pulling him up into the ceiling. The muffled scream of the man filled the room. The same evil laughter filled the room. Bailey immediately pushed Twilight and Rainbow back and sealed the door. Rainbow had her eyes covered in fear and Twilight was in shock. "What was that thing?!" Twilight screamed in shock. "I'll explain later, C'mon, we need to get the fuck out of here, NOW!" Bailey yelled as he charged down the other passage. Rainbow and Twilight followed. After two minutes of non-stop running, the group stopped. Bailey was breathing slightly harder that he was. Rainbow was taking deep breaths, and Twilight was already exhausted to point where she nearly collapsed onto the floor. Rainbow grabbed hold of her from doing so. "Come on Twilight, it was only two minutes!" Rainbow exclaimed. "Rainbow! You and me both know I don't exercise much." Twilight replied, gasping for breath. At that moment three small bangs sounded from the distance. Then a loud crash erupted, followed by several tiny explosions. "What was that noise?" Rainbow asked Bailey. "I honestly don't know, sounded closer than all of the other crashes and explosions." Bailey said, reaching for his radio. "Tyler, come in, over. This is Bailey. Do you copy?" Bailey said over the radio. It took a couple seconds for Tyler to respond. "Yes Bailey?" Tyler responded. "Something blew up and it sounded close. I have a hunch that it was on the main level of the facility. Could you check the cameras and see if it was?" Bailey ordered. After a couple seconds, Tyler came back with a worry in his voice. "There is a large amount of destruction between you and the checkpoint" Tyler replied. "Fucking great! That's just what we need." Bailey said. "We?" Tyler asked. "Yeah, I found them!" Bailey informed Tyler. "Alright! Good job, Bailey. There should be another way to the checkpoint, just hang in there Bailey." Tyler said, cutting off his radio afterwards. "Who was that?" Twilight asked. "One of my friends in the Security Center. He told me that we need to find another way back." Bailey said, looking irritated. "Why?" Rainbow asked, hoping that the creature would answer her questions for once. "Because that sound you heard was an explosion, and the destruction is blocking our way back to the Security Center." Bailey said, leaning back against the wall and sliding down to the floor. He than let out a long sigh, hoping that he didn't have to take a longer route back to the Security Center. Rainbow and Twilight came up to Bailey and sat down next to him, waiting for the next move. "Bailey, that's your name, right? Rainbow asked. "Yeah, why? Bailey asked back. "Because I wanted to apologize to you for being a total crapfest when we met." Rainbow said "Listen, we can talk about it later. We need to get back to the Security Center. Now c'mom, we don't have all day!" Bailey said, getting up and proceeding to walk. The others followed him into the next passageway. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 9: You're Safe With Us //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 9: You're Safe With Us As the elevator continued to rise up, the tension inside calms down. Both of the mares were shedding tears at the horror they had just experienced. Bailey, although horrified, continued to reload his pistol and rifle. "I hope that's the last time I'll have to go down there!" Bailey said as he sat down in the elevator. The trip up felt longer than the trip into the storage area. The elevator music was playing the standard song that plays on the SCP Site Radio. Bailey hummed as it played, which helped time pass by. Ding! The elevator went as they reached the main level of the facility. The room they were in was a straight hallway with two other doors. One of the doors had gas coming out of it, which was a sign that they are indeed still on the same path. "Great, we don't have far to go. C'mon" Bailey said heading towards the other door. However, the others weren't following him. Bailey waited for a few seconds for the mares to walk out, but they didn't. With his suspicion aroused, Bailey traveled back to the elevator, only to find the mares in a trance of sorts. "Hey, you guys okay?" He asked, hoping for a response. It took a few seconds for a voice to come about. "What in Equestria was that?" Twilight said slowly, continuing to stare forward in her trance. Rainbow Dash didn't move an inch from the time Bailey asked the question. "I really hate to repeat this, but we need to keep moving. We're not far from security. I'll tell you everything you want to know when we are there!" Bailey said, turning around and gesturing for the mares to follow. It took a moment for the others to start to move. Once they did the group continued down a seamlessly unending path to the Security center. After what seemed like forever walking, the group came across the security checkpoint. Rainbow and Twilight examined the checkpoint. The room sent chills down their spines by the downright creepiness that the grim look of the room reflected "I know, it is creepy," Bailey said, seeming to read the thoughts of the ponies. "Lets see if the doors would open now!" Bailey said, putting emphasis on open. He took out his key card from a patch on his side and inserted into the slot. A siren rang following Baileys action, which startled the two mares. "Oh, now it works?!" Bailey remarked. The door then slid open until about halfway when it stopped. "Why does that not surprise me?" Bailey said, turning to the broken window he shot out a hour ago. "Well I guess this is the only way through." Bailey said, climbing over the broken glass that remained of the window. Once Bailey was through, he turned and reached out his hand towards Twilight. "Your hoof." Bailey spoke. "What about it?" Twilight asked. "Give me it!" Bailey shouted, making a gesture. "Okay?" Twilight questioned as she reached out her hoof to Bailey. Bailey then grabbed it and pulled her forward enough so that he can grab her rear leg. With slight effort, Bailey pulled Twilight through the window, landing on the floor. A moment later he got up and reached out towards Rainbow, gesturing for her hoof as well. "No thanks," Rainbow said as she expanded her wings and flew through the window. "I have wings!" She bragged. The group then ventured to the other window, climbing through it to the other side. "It isn't far now!" Bailey reassured as he opened the next door to a dark tunnel. It seemed darker than the last time, but that could just be the lights having problems. The group continued down the hallway until they reached the next door. Bailey opened it and sighed with relief. "It's down this hallway!" Bailey spoke, pointing down the hallway with the Tesla gate. He approached it and stopped, pulling out his radio. "Tyler? Are you there?" Bailey talked through the radio. A few seconds passed with static sounding through radio. "Yes, Bailey?" Tyler asked. "I'm here!" Bailey spoke. "Outside of the Security Center! Come out here and turn off the Tesla gate!" He continued, swaying in impatience. "Are they there?" Tyler whispered, trying to sound as quiet as possible. "Well I wasn't lying when I said that I would get them!" Bailey said, quickly glancing at the two mares behind him. They exchanged looks between each other "Right... I'll be out there!" Tyler said, turning off his radio. "Now we play the waiting game." Bailey whispered to himself. A moment later the door opened and a man dressed in orange overalls walked out. He than approached a switch on the wall and pulled it. The light on the Tesla gate turned green after doing so. Bailey started to walk to the room, glancing at the man as he done so. Rainbow and Twilight hesitated to approach the room, now that another one of the beings was present. "Do not worry!" Tyler uttered out. "You're safe with us!" He finished. Twilight and Rainbow Dash hesitated furthermore, but finally entered the room. Tyler then followed them inside and closed the door. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 10: Welcome to Hell on Earth //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 10: Welcome to Hell on Earth Bailey started to walk around, making sure that the person he left here didn't temper with anything. Although he has been a big help, something wasn't right about him. After a few minutes Bailey walked back into the lobby, staring at the mares. "Alright. Now that we are here, let the questions begin." Bailey said, bracing for what questions could come. Twilight began to open her mouth, but was interrupted by her rainbow-maned companion. "Where are we?!" She screamed. Her facial expressions told Bailey that she had been waiting to ask the question for a really long time, though he knew. "Well for one, you're not in Equestria." Tyler answered for Bailey. Bailey eyeballed him behind the opaque visor, mad that he interrupted. "You are inside a facility belonging to the SCP Foundation." Bailey added to Tyler's statement, albeit angrily. "What's a SCP?" Twilight and Rainbows voices synced together. "Well..." Bailey started to think of an easy way to describe them. "An SCP is an anomalous object. We typically keep them secured and contained to prevent harm to humanity and, for that matter, life itself." Bailey informed the mares. "Humanity?" Twilight questioned, expressing interest into the word. "It is what we are. We are know as humans." Bailey said, pointing to his companion. "What's your name?" Rainbow said, flying next to the man. "Uh, Tyler?" Tyler said, reaching his hand out for a handshake. Rainbow reached her wing out and returned the offer, staring at Tyler with a sense of trust. Bailey and Twilight looked at each other, wondering why Rainbow has such a sudden interest in Tyler. "So, Bailey..." Twilight paused. "Yes?" Bailey asked, gesturing her to go on. "What exactly was that back there?" Twilight asked with an eyebrow raised. This caused Rainbow to draw her attention to the two. "What? The SCP's?" Bailey asked back. "Yes." Twilight said, staring at Bailey for an answer. "Well, their was two of them..." Bailey trailed off. "Which one?" "Well, both I guess?" The unicorn sounded unsure as to which one caught her attention more. Rainbow and Tyler joined the conversation soon after. "Well, The one who grabbed the janitor, Jeff, was SCP-106. He looks like an decomposed old man and walks through walls and all that good stuff. If you see him, let us know and run like hell!" Bailey paused. "Then there's SCP-939. It was the one that attacked us in the storage room. We'll probably never have to worry about that fucker again though..." Bailey said, looking at the mares. Their expressions tell Bailey that they were at least somewhat happy to have their questions answered. "I'm sure their are others you aren't telling them about..." Tyler said with a dark tone in his voice. Twilight and Rainbow looked at Bailey for more answers. "Oh yeah, there's a lot," Bailey paused. "There's SCP-682, whose been causing a hell of a mess inside the facilities upper levels. Looks like a giant lizard thing. Lets just say you don't want to meet it." Bailey sighed, searching his thoughts for more SCP's. "Oh, there's SCP-096. Looks like us except hairless, tall, skinny as hell, and pale. If you see it, whatever you do. DO NOT LOOK AT ITS FACE!!!" Bailey yelled at the top of his lungs, knowing that it would have got the message through to them. "Wasn't there others?" Tyler said, searching his memory. "I know there is, but I can't quite put my finger on it right right now." Bailey said. Then, almost as timed perfectly, the lights went out. A shuffling noise could be hear in the vents above. "Twilight, light your horn, fast!" Bailey whispered loudly, knowing about the spells Twilight is capable of. "Okay!" Twilight whispered back as her horn lit up the room with a purple glow. Baileys eyes shifted to the armory, where a loud bang was heard. He instantly recognized what it was. The vent covers! Bailey thought. He then saw a statue fall out of the caved-in vent. "Ah shit!" Bailey yelled. "It's SCP-173!" Bailey exclaimed as he approached the statue. "Guys, keep your eyesight on it. Let each of us know whey you are going to blink!" He yelled. "Why?" Rainbow asked. "Just do it!" He yelled as he wrapped his arms around the statue. With all his strength he lifted it up into the air. It was a lot heavier than Bailey thought. He began to move slowly to the door. He struggled for breath due to how heavy the thing was. By each passing second Bailey's face became redder and redder. Rainbow and Twilight exchanged blinks. "Tyler!" Bailey struggled to say as he continued to stumble to the door. "What?!" Tyler said, moving closer to Bailey. "Get! The! Door!" Bailey said, sounding close to suffocation. His muscles screamed for him to let go of the statue, but Bailey knew better. Tyler opened the door and Bailey mustered the rest of his strength and threw the statue out of the room. Bailey then closed the door and locked it with the keypad. Bailey was breathing hard, his arms hurting from exhaustion. He than walked over to the blast door separating the armory from the lobby. He pulled out his key card and used it to closed the door. The large rusted doors came to a close. Bailey leaned against the wall, sliding down to the floor. "What was that?!" Twilight said, feeling concern for Bailey. "That was SCP-173!" Bailey struggled to say between his heavy breathing. After a moment his breathing calmed back down enough so he can mutter out a welcoming to the mares. "Welcome to hell on earth, girls." //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 11: Scouting Ahead //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 11: Scouting Ahead "So, what now?" Tyler asked Bailey, who began to sat up. "Well, I would be fanboying about the fact that they're here, but now is not the time to be doing that." Bailey said, looking at Rainbow and Twilight. He than walked over to a nearby bench and sat down, taking off his helmet. For once the mares got to observe his face. His hair was cut short, reflecting a dark brown color. His face was clear, other than a couple of scars on both sides of his face. his eyes were brown with a look of determination in them. "I suppose that the only thing we can do is stay in here. Hell it's much better than trying to make for the exits." Bailey said, taking out the clip of his carbine and checking it. "And why is being here better than getting out?" Tyler ask, preparing to argue against Bailey's advice. "Because the SCP's are a huge threat! Think about it. We are only 1/4 the way to the exits!" Bailey shouted in defense. Rainbow and Twilight's eyes widened at how big the facility was. Hell, Tyler was surprised at the size of the facility. "Point taken." Tyler said quietly. Withen a minute of silence Bailey spoke. "Well, we are going to need food, water, and supplies to survive in here, and the only way we are going to get any of that is by scouting ahead, am I right?" Bailey said, getting up and putting his helmet on. The faceplate of the helmet was hanging above Bailey's face, so the group still saw his face. "Well yeah, that is true." Tyler agreed with Bailey. "Only problem is who is going to scout?" Tyler asked. Bailey sat still thinking about the question. "Well, even though I use the service tunnels instead of the facilities infrastructure, I still know more about the facility then you do Tyler. So I guess I'll be the one to go." Bailey said. He then started to walk to the exit of the room, but was cut off by Twilight. "Wouldn't it be smart to go with somepony?" Twilight asked, "Yeah but-" "Can I come?" Twilight interrupted Bailey. Bailet wanted to say no because he knew the danger of the facility, but deep inside he was cheering because one of his favorite characters wants to come along. Also he knows that Rainbow won't come and Tyler needs to watch the place. After a moment of silence he spoke. "I guess you can, but know if there is any danger, we will come back, okay?" Bailey said. Twilight nodded and Bailey loaded his carbine. He then faced Tyler. "You know what to do!" Bailey said, Tyler nodded and walked outside with the two. After of moment of preparation, Bailey and Twilight headed out. Bailey and Twilight walked through a few tunnels, calmed by the sound of the vents. Everything sounded too quiet. Once they got to a three-way tunnel, Bailey popped a question. 'Hey Twilight?" Bailey asked for her attention. "Yes?" Twilight asked. "Why did you want to come so badly?" Bailey questioned. "Not that I mind or anything!" He rushed to say, blushing slightly behind his visor. Thank god she can't see my face. Bailey thought. "Well, For two things actually." Twilight paused. "One because you seem like you know what you are doing, unlike the other stallion, or whatever your race calls the male gender." She paused again. "And two, because I trust you. I mean, I would rather trust a guard than a person who looks like a prisoner, you know what I mean?" Twilight said, looking past Bailey. "Yeah..." Bailey paused, "I know what you mean." They continued down the the left tunnel and entered a hallway with an opening to the left. A sign above it read "WC". It was the bathrooms. "Oh please no!" A voice echoed throughout the hall. Bailey reacted by crouching own and readying his carbine. Twilight stood next to him. "What was that?" Twilight whispered. "Shh!" Bailey sounded as he took slow steps towards the bathroom about halfway there the voice sounded again. "Fuck this! Godammit! Please forgive me!" The voice said followed by a second of sobing before a loud pop filled the room. "Bailey! What happened!" Twilight shouted, moving closer to Bailey for protection. "I think some poor bastard just shot himself!" Bailey responed. His tone of voice sounded as if he didn't cared, although he did. "Shot himself?!" Twilight sounded horrified. Bailey moved into the mens bathroom. When he rounded the corner what he predicted came true. There was a body of a guard in the middle of the room, blood pouring out of a bullet hole in the helmet. Twilight walked in shotly after. Seeing the body and gaging, she quickely exited out of the room. Bailey walked over to the body and reached into the persons shirt, pulling out a pair of dog tags before leaving the room. Twilight was outside, tearing up from what she just saw. "Yeah!" Bailey blurted out, "You'll have that..." He trailed off. "You don't even looked phased!" Twilight yelled, more tears coming out of her eyes. "Twilight we don't have time to be phased!" Bailey yelled back, putting the dog tags in one of his vest pockets. "We need to get back to the Security Center before anything else happens!" he said, starting to move towards the door they came through. Twilight said nothing and followed. After about five minutes they arrived back to the hallway outside security. Bailey reached for his radio and turned it on. "Tyler, this is Bailey, over!" Bailey spoke, but nothing but static was on the other side. "Tyler! Come in, over!" He repeated, but still nothing. "Motherfucker..." Bailey mumbled, the silence went on for a couple of minutes before Bailey started to get nervous. Not only from the silence, but from the fact that they were exposed to any danger outside of the door. "Shit!" Bailey said, turning to Twilight. "Whats wrong?" Twilight said. "I don't know, but something isn't right." Bailey paused, "Hold this" Bailey said, giving his carbine to Twilight. She picked it up with her magic. Bailey then into a running pose, facing the tesla gate. "Twilight, I am going to run though." Bailey paused, "If the gate shocks me, I want you to teleport inside the door, get Rainbow if you can, and hide inside the camera room!" Bailey said, facing his head towards the unicorn. "Alright!" Twilight said, readying herself for the worst. Bailey than darted towards the gate, jumping at the last second to gain more momentum. He made it to the otherside, landing on the floor. But something was wrong. The tesla gates are motion activated, and they didn't go off. "What the hell?" Bailey questioned. He got up and reached his hand in between the and it still didn't go off. "What in the motherfucking-" He stopped and looked at the power box. The lever was switched off. "Twilight, come through" Bailey said. Twilight hesitated, but moved through the gate. "I told them to turn the gate on, but they didn't!" Bailey said in anger. He punched in the code to the keypad next to the door and entered the room. Twilight followed. They didn't see Tyler or Rainbow Dash anywhere. "Where could they be?" Bailey asked. "I have no clue" Twilight responded. They walked over to the barrack's door and Bailey opended it. When they looked inside they saw something that shocked both of them. Rainbow Dash was kissing Tyler. She looked over at the two in the doorway and immediatly back off him. "Whoa!" Bailey said, standing still from what he just saw. "I don't even want to know!" Bailey said, raising his hands and slowly walking in. "Jealous?" Tyler remarked at Bailey. Bailey stopped dead in his tracks and his head slowly faced Tyler. "Do what?" Bailey said. He couldn't believe what he just heard Tyler say. "I said are you jealous?" Tyler's tone in his voice resembled him bragging. "Jealous?!" Bailey said, his hands clutched into fist. "Actually no, i'm not jealous! Why should I be?" Bailey responded with anger. "Because the best flyer in Equestria kissed me!" Tyler bragged on. "So what?! I don't care!" Bailey yelled back "Then why are you getting mad?" It was as if Tyler was taunting Bailey at this point. Bailey glared at him with rage, even though Tyler can't tell. "I am getting pissed at you because for one you are being a bitch right now! And two because you didn't turn on the tesla gates!" Bailey yelled, hoping his point got through. "So?!" Tyler said, as if he didn't care at all. "SO??!!??" Bailey yelled at the top of his lungs, "YOU COULD OF GOTTEN YOURSELF AND RAINBOW KILLED!!!" He snapped, pointing at Tyler. "Everything perfectly fine! It isn't like anyone could get in and hurt me or anything." Tyler said, as if he knew what he was doing. "You know what?!" Bailey paused. "You're damn lucky that Twilight and Rainbow Dash are here right now, because if it wasn't for them, I would of put one between you pathetic eyes! Go ahead, be a bitch, I don't care! If you need me, i'll be in the fucking shooting range!" Bailey calmed, disappearing out of the room. Twilight looked at Tyler and Rainbow, then the doorway, then back at Tyler. "I am going to go talk to him, i'll be back." She said, running after Bailey. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 12: Why I Don't Trust Him //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 12: Why I Don't Trust Him Bailey was sitting at one of the firing range's booths, loading a magazine with 9mm rounds. Twilight opened the door to the firing range and walked in, seeing Bailey staring ahead. He looked pissed, but concentrated. He slid the magazine into the gun and chambered the round. He took aim at one of the targets left by a guard and fired at it. Each time he fired the pistol Twilight flinched. He picked up the rate of fire until the gun ran out of ammo, ejecting the clip onto the table. "Uh, Hey!" Twilight said quietly. She had slowly approached him from the time he had started shooting. She was scared that Bailey would go off on her the way he did on Tyler. Bailey sighed, "Hey Twilight." He sounded tired. At this point of time Bailey has calmed back to normal, as he didn't look pissed anymore, although deep inside he has hatred of Tyler. He backed up to the wall and sat at one of the benches that are on the wall. Twilight sat next to him. "Are you okay?" Twilight said, looking to the left of Bailey in attempts to not provoke anger. "What do you mean? I am perfectly fine!" Bailey said, looking at Twilight. He still had the gun in his hands, but was putting it into his holster. "Well you just got done screaming at Tyler for two minutes and went in here and started shooting." Twilight explained. Bailey looked ahead and sighed. "I've about had it with Tyler! I mean, he has only done a couple good things, but compared to the amount of crap-" Bailey paused, "Sorry, but I just don't want to talk about it." He said, resting onto the bench and crossing his arms. He closed his eyes to rest them, but kept his ears open to anything Twilight had to say. "Well, I understand. I know just how you feel." Twilight said. Bailey turned his head and looked at her to continue. "I mean, Rainbow really loves Tyler, and to be honest I have no idea why she would. I mean, I don't trust the guy!" Twilight said, turning her head towards Bailey. "I don't blame you for not trusting Tyler!" Bailey Said before Twilight could continue, "Uh, continue!" "Well, I guess what I am saying is that Rainbow and Tyler can do their own thing..." Twilight's voice trailed off, as if she didn't want to say it but she had to. "Wait! Are you suggesting we split up?" Bailey said, facing Twilight for an answer. "Well..." Twilight took a deep breath, as if she was preparing herself for some sort of argument. "Yes, that is what i'm saying." Bailey sat there for a few seconds, thinking to himself. Why would Twilight want to abandon her friend? What happened between them. Bailey than realized something. Rainbow was apologizing for something earlier! "I wouldn't split up. As much as I hate to say it, We are better off as a team." Bailey said. Twilight opened her mouth to argue, but Bailey cut her off. "Also, what happened between you and Rainbow Dash?" Hell, how did you even get here anyways?" Bailey asked. Twilight stood still, searching her thoughts for an answer to Baileys question. After a moment she spoke. "It... It was a fight. As to how I got here, that was the product of the fight." She said. Looking back at the past couple of hours, she regretted fighting with Rainbow. Now they are both here, and Twilight knows it will be a while before they get out, at least if they don't die! "What was the fight about?" Bailey asked calmly. The look on Twilight's face showed him that she was troubled by something. "Listen, I rather not talk about it..." Twilight said, she shedded a tear, but realized that she cannot let her thoughts get to her. "But what I want to know where in Equestria are we?" Twilight said. "I told you, we aren't in Equestria!" Bailey said harshly. His stress was getting the better of him. "Okay! Than where are we?!" Twilight responded back with a harsh voice. "You are in an entirely different universe, Twilight!" Bailey paused. "You are in MY universe, which to us your universe is a TV show!" Bailey said. His stress was causing him to sound more angry than he actually was. Twilight sat there staring at him, more tears were coming down her face. "T-TV show?" Twilight stuttered. "Yes, one that is called My Little Pony!" Bailey said, his voice has calmed slightly. Twilight remembered hearing Celestia saying that phrase, which brought back memories of Equestria and the rest of her friends. Her tears ran down her face from the fact that she may never see Equestria again. Bailey took notice of Twilight. "Listen, I'm sorry for yelling, but I'm just stressed out from all of this chaos and Tyler..." Bailey said as his posture slumped down. "I-it's okay..." Twilight said, soaking up some of the tears. To Bailey Twilight seemed to have scooted closer to him. Bailey mind created a small irrational thought. It was him and Twilight kissing right then and there. He shook the thought out of his Head and stood up. "You should get back to Tyler and Rainbow, I am going to head over to the camera room and see if I can contact anyone with the radios in there." Bailey said, proceeding to the door and into the lobby. Twilight followed and headed to the barracks. Bailey looked at his watch and saw that it was 10:45 P.M. "It is getting late..." Bailey said, walking into the camera room. There were 8 monitors along with a radio transceiver and what looked like a box. Bailey examined the box and found out that it was a navigation device that was connected to the facility. On the top was a button with the on symbol on it. Bailey pressed it and nothing came on. He pressed again, this time holding the button and it still didn't come on. Bailey traced the problem the battery, which was dead. He sat it back down on the monitor and turned on the transceiver. The transceiver he was operating was a radio set with an integrated "intercom" button on it. Bailey felt the best way to reach any survivors was through the intercom system. He had to watch what he says, though, as he might give his position away to unwanted rouge guards, or worst. The intercoms are only connected to the heavy containment zone, so if there are any survivors, they would be lucky as hell to be alive in such a hostile environment. Bailey reached out his hand and activated the intercom. Two loud beeps sounded off, and Bailey spoke. "This is Security Captain Bailey of Security Team 5! Me and three other survivors are in one of the sites security centers! We can provide you ammo, supplies, and shelter from the containment breach. Further information will be provided on the facilities emergency channel, which is channel 4 for those who forgot! Keep it quiet and stay in a safe area. DO NOT try to make it for the exits, as the facility is extremely dangerous and the environment is very unpredictable! Over and out!" Bailey moved his hand away from the radio transceiver and sat still for a moment. He figured that this will be a long night, and since he will be staying up to make sure that something doesn't go wrong, why not entertain himself. He turned on his portable transceiver and tuned it to channel 3, which is the SCP on site radio and a familiar tune played through. Bailey also made sure that the other transceiver was set to channel 4. A moment later Tyler walked in and stared at Bailey. Bailey rotated his seat to face Tyler. "Yes? How can I help you?" Bailey said, almost sarcastically. "Was that you on the intercom a few minutes ago?" Tyler said, giving Bailey a look of curiosity. "I did say that this is Security Captain Bailey, right?" Bailey remarked. "Well yes, but you could of alerted out position, dumbass!" Tyler said with anger. Bailey was quite annoyed by Tyler's ignorance. "I said ONE of the facilities security centers, not the exact one!" Bailey said, pausing. "Dumbass..." He added to his statement. Tyler gave Bailey a look of pure anger and turned around. "Also, tell Twilight and Rainbow Dash that now would be a good time to rest. Looks like we are staying for the night!" Bailey said. Tyler walked out of the room and into the barracks. Bailey turned around, kicked back and relaxed, and started his new night shift. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 13: The First Night //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 13: The First Night It has been four hours since Pinkie Pie had last seen Twilight and Rainbow Dash. Being the pony Pinkie Pie is, she had dismissed the teleportation as being a simple mistake and that they would simply come back in a few minutes. Pinkie had left the tree library and went back to working at the Sugarcube Corner. It was a very slow day, but Pinkie didn't care, as she loved baking cakes and pastries. "That will be thirty bits!" Pinkie said cheerfully at a stallion. "Alright, here ya go!" The stallion said, giving her the bits. He had an afro and orange fur. Pinkie knew that he was somewhat rich and talented, as his attire pointed out. Pinkie then handed him four cupcakes and the stallion turned to walk away, but Pinkie stopped him before he could do so. "So, what is your name!" Pinkie said with curiosity. "The name is-" The stallion proceeded to say his name, but was cut off by the sound of the door opening almost violently. Rarity and Spike walked into the bakery, both with alarmed and concerned looks on their faces. "Pinkie Pie! Have you seen Twilight and Rainbow Dash?" Rarity said, sounding as if she was in a hurry. "No, actually!" Pinkie responded. "We can't find them anywhere!" Spike said, sounding as if he was in anxiety. Something inside of Pinkie caused her heart to sink. Twilight and Rainbow Dash is still gone?! She thought. "Have you asked the others?!" Pinkie said, scrambling to put up the bits she had and to close down the bakery. "Oh yes, and they said the same thing!" Rarity said, "Oh Celestia help us!" Rarity shouted in drama, putting her hoof up to her chest as if she was having chest pains. Pinkie knew that Rarity was a drama queen, but for once she had a reason to act this way. Twilight and Rainbow Dash would have been back hours ago! Something was horribly wrong! Pinkie knew that this wouldn't of happened if she hadn't barged into the library. "Spike! Tell Princess Celestia what happened! HURRY!" Pinkie shouted, hurrying even more to close the bakery. Spike and Rarity ran out and Pinkie shot out of the bakery's open windows, beginning to ask some of the ponies around town if they knew where they would be. *********************************************************************************************************** It has been two hours since Bailey, Twilight and Rainbow had arrived inside the security center. Bailey sat in his seat staring at the radio to see if anyone would respond. He sat there, motionless, for the whole time. As a matter of fact he had even stopped breathing for a while and he didn't seem to react to it, Bailey snapped back into reality and took a deep breath. This whole time he had waited and waited for a response that would never come. Bailey took another deep breath, and sighed. "Fuck me..." He whispered to himself. The fact that it has been this long without contact from anyone shatters Bailey's expectations of finding more survivors. Although he kept the radio on, he turned his focus to the camera monitors. The cameras have been normal except for the occasional movement of SCP-173 captured by some of them. many of the cameras, however, are deactivated or destroyed as shown by the deactivated screens on several monitors. One monitor, however, was turned off. Bailey found this weird, as he recalled all of the monitors were to be on, even when a security breach happened. Bailey flicked a switch on the monitor on and the monitor showed a random tunnel in the heavy containment zone. This camera, however, glowed much brighter than the others. Bailey thought it was the brightness, but as he fiddled around with the settings he found that the brightness was all the way down. Bailey stared at the setting with an odd look on his face. As he was doing that, something on the monitor flickered in the corner of Bailey's eyes. Bailey looked at the monitor and saw that there was something written on the tunnels walls. It read "DEATH AWAITS YOU!" In blood. Bailey examined the camera, seeing if he could identify the source of the writing. Within seconds he saw something that shocked him. A pitch black humanoid figure walked out of the door and sat in the middle of the tunnel, next to the writing. After a moment of silence the figure's face looked at the camera. All Bailey could see is its white pupils. A bloody smile appeared on its face. Bailey moved his chair back slightly, preparing himself door something that was about to happen. The face then appeared fullscreen, reciting the words "IT IS NOW YOUR TIME TO PLAY!" in a deep demonic voice. Bailey jolted out of his chair and sprinted to the corner of the room. The screen then flashed images of dead people, zombies, SCP-106's face, and a females guts slowly being ripped out of her body. Bailey sprinted towards the monitor and, with all of his force, smashed his fist into it. It fell of the table and hit several cords, knocking them out of the power outlet. everything except the radio and the outside security camera turned off, with the remaining monitors reflecting a glow coming from behind him. Bailey turned to look and saw that it was coming from one of the computers in the lobby. He grabbed a pistol from the table that the equipment was on and slowly approached the computer. When Bailey's eyes adjusted, he saw a cyan pegasus at the computer, looking back at Bailey with a look of concern. "Oh thank god!" Bailey sighed with relief, "It is just you!" Bailey said. He laughed nervously and sat down at the computer to the left of Rainbow Dash. He rested his head down at the computer and took several deep breaths. "Are you okay?" Rainbow said. Bailey raised his head up and looked at her. "Yes, i'm okay. Why did you ask?" Bailey asked. "Well, I just heard a huge crash in there and you came in here, with what ever that thing you call a weapon is, pointing it at me." Rainbow said. Bailey sat there for a few seconds in the dark before responding. "Listen, I don't want to talk about it. Plus you had me thinking that Tyler or someone was in here!" Bailey said. He decided to turn on the computer next to him for extra light. "Hey, by the way, what do you have against Tyler?" Rainbow said. Her eyes gave a look of questions. Bailey knew just how confused or curious for answers she was. "A lot of things..." Bailey said. He didn't want to talk about is, considering the fact that it would be two times harder to get the point across to a pony whose in love with the guy. "What kind of things?" Rainbow asked. She knew Bailey didn't want to talk about it. She wanted to push Bailey to confess his hate. "Just things i'd rather not talk about..." Bailey kept on stalling. At this point if he couldn't deter Rainbow, than he would confess. "Well, I don't bite!" Rainbow said. Bailey turned to look at her. Rainbow had the type of face you would see in a cartoon where the characters acted cute to get their ways. Rainbows eyes glared at Bailey with desperation, almost as if they were staring into his soul. He couldn't take it anymore. Bailey sighed, "Fine, I tell you what I have against him..." Bailey said, sitting back in his seat. Rainbow sat back in her seat as well, having a face of victory. "Here at the SCP Foundation, my job is to secure this site, protect information, and escort Class-D's." Bailey started off. "What's a Class-D?" Rainbow asked. "A Class-D is a person who the foundation uses as test subjects," Bailey paused. "Tyler just so happens to be one!" "That doesn't tell me why you hate Tyler!" Rainbow bickered. Bailey didn't want to stir up a argument with somebody, or somepony else, but he knew he had to continue. "I am getting to that!" Bailey returned. "Class-D's are mainly recruited from death row inmates; people who are prisoners of war, terrorist, rapist, and murderer." "Rapist?! Terrorist?! Murderers?!" Rainbow Dash's eyes widened at the sound of those words. "This universe, this planet, Earth, is like living in the Everfree Forest but much worst!" Bailey added to his statement. He realized that he didn't tell Rainbow Dash about them being in a different universe, but Rainbow Dash seemed to have already known that. Maybe Tyler or Twilight told her? Bailey thought. "Anyways, Tyler, being a Class-D, automatically disownes my trust! However he has told me that he was innocent. To be honest I didn't believe him. I had almost shot him, but that would mean that I would have to travel alone to the security center." Bailey continued. He paused to see if Rainbow Dash had any input. "So, you used him?" Rainbow Dash accused. Bailey stared at her, stirring up a response. "Rainbow, i'll admit. I have issues. I am overprotective, and have anger issues, which I am pretty sure you know," Bailey Paused. "But in a life or death situation, i'd rather be safe than sorry. Tyler has cause a lot of problems that just pours salt in the wound. I don't want him around because of that, Rainbow!" Bailey finished. Rainbow's expression sank, but she managed to whip up a response. "What about the things that you said he'd helped with?" Rainbow asked. "The most he had done is restore a local power generator, directed us and accompanied me!" Bailey said. "Rainbow, you got to understand. Something isn't right about him!" Bailey concluded. Rainbow and Bailey sat there in the darkness for a full minute before Rainbow whispered something. "What was that?" Bailey asked. "How old is Tyler?" Rainbow asked back. Bailey thought it was odd for this kind of question to pop up, but he decided to go with it. "I don't know, let me check!" Bailey said as he swiveled in his chair to face the computer. He turned it on and the monitor powered up, slightly blinding Bailey from the brightness. He reached to type when Rainbow Dash muttered something. "Bailey!" She yelped. Bailey jolted in his seat from the sudden loudness of her voice. He turned his head to her. "What is it?" He asked. "Your hand! It's covered in blood!" Rainbow pointed out. Bailey looked down and saw that his right hand was covered in blood. the keyboard and the counter was covered in blood, too. Bailey started to notice a singing pain coming from the hand. "The fuck?" Bailey questioned it. He then traced it to him breaking the camera monitor in the other room. "Rainbow, could you go inside the camera room and get my first aid kit?" Bailey asked. Rainbow nodded, heading to the camera room. Within a minute, she came back with a pouch with "first aid" on it. Bailey opened it up and began to bandage his hand. "That's better..." Bailey said, turning back to the computer and starting to type. "Where did you get the cuts from?" Rainbow asked. "Punched out a monitor in there! A monitor was off and I turned it on, only for SCP-895 to start fucking with me!" Bailey replied. "SCP-895?" Rainbow questioned. "Camera Disruptions. The camera had to of been near the containment chamber of SCP-895! Unless..." Bailey trailed off. "Unless what?" Rainbow asked. "Nothing..." Bailey said, not wanting to panic Rainbow Dash. Bailey continued typing, then he paused to read something on the page. "Here it is!" Bailey said, "Tyler Reznov. Age: 24!" Bailey continued. "He isn't that much older than me!" Rainbow Dash commented. "How old are you?" Bailey asked. "Eighteen!" Rainbow replied. Bailey figured that be around her age. "Twilight's Nineteen! Just in case you want to know!" Rainbow blurted out anxiously. Bailey sat there for a minute, trying to figure out why Rainbow seemed so anxious to get it out of her. "How old are you, Bailey!" Rainbow asked. "Well, if you don't know already, I've been in the foundation for eleven years. Take a guess at my age!" Bailey said. He really didn't want to disclose his age, but at the same time he had no choice, especially in this conversation. "Twenty-nine?" Rainbow guessed. Bailey was surprised at how close she was to his age, so he decided to go ahead and tell her. "Close! I am thirty-two!" Bailey said. Rainbow's eyes widened. "You're double my age!" Rainbow said. "Actually, if I was double your age, I would be thirty-six! Math Matters!" Bailey said, he decided to change the topic. "So, why did you seem to anxious to tell me Twilight's age?" Bailey asked. Rainbow sighed. "Well, Twilight seems to really like you, and I thought I'd let you know just in case you-" Rainbow paused, "Just in case you liked her back!" Rainbow finished. Bailey didn't know what to say. All he could do is blush at the statement. Bailey loves Twilight, as a character, but he never though of it as a relationship. "Plus you both have a lot in common. You both can be overprotective! You both eggheads..." Rainbow said. "Eggheads?" Bailey paused, "Haven't heard that in a while!" Bailey continued. "And you both care for others..." Rainbow finished. The two sat there for a minute, nothing making a sound, when Bailey looked at Rainbow Dash and noticed that the glow was still there, and that she was on the other computer. "What are you doing on the computer, by the way?" Bailey asked. "Well, looking up some history, I guess?" Rainbow said. Bailey looked at her with an eyebrow raised. "You! History?" Bailey legitimately thought that what he heard was a joke, but Rainbow denied that it was a joke. "Listen, as awesome as I may be, I still like to learn about the places I am at!" She Replied. Bailey nodded in understandment, before saying another word. "So, I am guessing that Twilight told you what I said about, you know, you guys being in a TV show? Bailey asked. Rainbow nodded. Bailey then looked at his computer and turned it off. "Well, have fun with you history research! I am going to the camera room and maybe get some shut-eye!" Bailey said, before turning away. It has been a long night, he sure could use the energy for whatever lies for him tomorrow!
