I never knew what I had until it was gone.

The life I took advantage of, the family I took for granted, the humanity that I thought would always be there… gone, without so much as a warning. I didn't even have time to scream. One moment everything was alright and the next I was in a different place. Surrounded by beings that I had no knowledge of. Stuck in a body that wasn't my own. And no way of getting back home.

The worse thing about it was the fact that I was starting to doubt myself. The beings here— ponies they liked to call themselves— thought of me as a monster. A being of evil and cruelty. An abomination against their perfect world. And over time, I began to think they were right. I shouldn't be here. Hell, considering who I was now, I shouldn't be in my old world either.

I shouldn't even exist, and yet here I am. I cannot go home. I cannot change what I have now become. All I can do is make the best of it, and hope that one day I may find my way home.
