The "new" stallion in town

Kiadar wakes up the next morning both next to each other on the same couch. Flitter is snoring softly like he was.

“Cute even when sleeping” he says getting up without waking her up. He makes himself a cup of tea and watches the sun rise. He thinks to himself while it does.
“Flitter was supposed to be home… I wonder why? What if she had a family thing going on? I don’t think I can explain what happened last night to her family…” his thinking gets cut off by a knocking at the door. It was cloudchaser. Kiadar combs his hair with his hoof and opens the door.

“Hello, are you kiadar? Flitter said you and her were hanging out together and she never came home do you know why?” kiadar hesitates for a moment.

“No, can’t say that I do. I’ll send her home when she wakes uh… I mean I see her again…” cloudchaser looks at kiadar weirdly then just walks away. Kiadar softly closes the door and watches her walk away the walks downstairs to flitter, which was still asleep. Kiadar “d’aww”s inside and sits next to the couch. Eventually she wakes up. She looks around then remembers where she is. She looks over to see kiadar playing a card game next to her. She sits up and kisses kiadar on the forehead then walks upstairs and makes a cup of tea for herself. She walks down again and asks if he was doing anything today.

“Sorry I sorta do. Vinyl and me have a concert to do. If you want you can be vip.” There was a knocking at the door. It was Vinyl Scratch ready to go. “Hey, I’ll ask her now.” He walks out and asks her to come inside for a sec and brings her into the basement.

“Hey flitter, how it going? So, I will let you be VIP, but you can’t go onstage.” Say vinyl, looking at her from the stairs. “Now kia’, get brushed up, we gotta go soon.” Kiadar walks into his room and brushes his hair so it makes a shadow covering his face. He does this a signature hair cut because the lights are behind him when he plays so the light can’t get to his face. He is finally ready and so is flitter so they walk out to flitter’s house real quick to tell cloudchaser what is and did happened but lied about the part where we “only talked” then they got to the stadium. Tents and campers were all there, only a few were awake to see vinyl and kiadar. They say hi to them all and sign what they wanted, gave them a few pictures then walked into the VIP entrance. They see everything is all ready for it.

“Ok flitter, you gotta stay here ok?” flitter nods here head and sits down. Eventually the stadium had voices in it, then soon enough it was filled with cheers and yells. Then finally and bass drum kick, then another, then bass “wubs” and then a voice, kiadar’s

“today, is a day, we don’t want you to forget, * bass * this is, the day, that will fill your heart with something we like to call, the wubs” he stops talking as a bass drop kicks in making the crowd go wild. With her right behind the stage, flitter can her them laughing at what kiadar just said. They play for a while then flitter looks at the cameras in front of her; they showed everything, the crowd, the stage, and the entrance. Everything. Finally, flitter looks at a monitor, she could see cloudchaser bright as day looking around. Flitter poked her head around the curtains and saw cloudchaser right there. Cloudchaser saw her poking her head out, he face went from worried to pissed. Flitter knew what was going to happen with her. She remembers what kiadar did when she felt bad, “transfer the love,” she says in her head over and over again. One of the bodyguards at the door looked back at her confused but then looked forward.

• 4 hours later -

Vinyl and Kiadar have been playing for the past 4 hours, it was almost over, and then they had a special guest. Flitter’s heart stopped. It was going to be her.

“…Put your hooves together, for Princess, Celestia!” flitter has a huge sigh of relief. She hears a loud thump on stage making her jump at least 5 feet making the guard laugh to himself. They talk to the princess then finally the show was over, the curtains closed but the music was still going. Kiadar turns the corner to see Flitter catching her breath still.

“Hey, what’s wrong?” he asks walking close to her.

“You almost gave me a heart attack… first almost calling me out, then tia falling down onto stage with a loud thump... geez…” kiadar smiles then flicks his head to signal flitter to follow him onstage. Vinyl was leaning back on her chair doing last minute mixes for the next song to play while the ponies were leaving. Kiadar gives her a tour of the mixing boards then they hear a voice from backstage. It was cloudchaser. She knew Flitter wouldn’t be given a VIP pass just for hanging out; they must have done something that brought them close. Kadar walks to the back stage and sees the guard holding her there.

“Where’s flitter kiadar? I want to talk to her,” yells cloudchaser from outside. Flitter walks to the backstage area and looks at cloudchaser.

“Let her in…” says kiadar. The guard looks back then moves to the side letting cloudchaser in. she instantly flies to Kiadar startling him.

“What did you do with flitter?” she says in a demanding voice. Flitter sorta hides onstage next to vinyl scratch still fiddling with the mixing board. She listens to the argument.

“I had her over for dinner and we hung out and played cards for a while then it started to pour so we went to sleep,” replies kiadar. Cloudchaser is really pissed now.

“You don’t just give VIP passes to one of the biggest DJ group concerts just because you hung out for the night, you must have done more than just “hang out”” she says in a mocking voice. The bodyguard is standing next to her. Kiadar nods and he picks her up and takes her outside. Kiadar walks back onstage with the others. Flitter is hiding in the corner and Vinyl is STILL fiddling with the mixing board. Kiadar helps flitter up and then they sit down and play music for a while and chat about recent stories. Flitter then becomes more and more scared about cloudchaser; she has never seen her like this. She needed to make things right, she didn’t know how to though. If she says the truth, her relationship with kiadar will be over. She franticly thinks and thinks then they had to go home. So they did, had some food at sugar cube corner and then vinyl walks home. Cloudchaser finds the two on the streets. She doesn’t even care anymore.

“Flitter, you go on ahead. Go to my house and I’ll talk when I get there,” say kiadar flying to cloudchaser to explain things more truthfully. He said that they love each other but haven’t done any activities, so he asks permission if he can.

“We-well if you two love each other I won’t stop you. Go ahead,” Kiadar nods to cloudchaser’s response then flies home. “Was it the right thing to do that? Or was it a wrong thing to not do that?” He thought to himself and almost missed his house. He walks in to see flitter is there at first. He goes to his room to see flitter lying down in bed waiting for him. Kiadar’s wings shoot out stiff. He didn’t care if it was the right thing or not, he was going again.
