The reason I came up with this story is because of a bet I made (see link below):

I just want to throw this out here that I don't write just clopfics since this is my first publishing here (kind of sad now that I think about it...) Needless to say, I lost the bet mentioned above and had to write this clopfic as a result. Essentially this takes place in the middle of my main novel I am still writing. You can choose whether or not it is canon to you if I ever get around to releasing the beginning chapters for you all to read.

My upcoming novel's description:

The Unforeseen Love
"A story about a human who encounters a sentient pony from another world named Rainbow Dash, who gets sucked into a dimensional portal that lead to Earth. Struggling to shelter a being from another dimension, the human faces challenges that could lead to tragedy and/or complete happiness."

Now for the main plot. Twilight Sparkle develops a strong emotional attachment for Rainbow Dash's mate. She struggles to confront Rainbow Dash about it, but when she finally does, she gets more than what she was expecting from her. Rainbow Dash understands her situation, and instead goes out of her way to set her up with her mate. When she succeeds in getting with him, it turns out to be one of the best nights of her life. In the end she learns much from her experience and will apply it for future experience.
