My Name is Sombra

I wake up from my nightmare and find myself in my bed.

"No, no this can't be true!" I mutter to myself. Why would they do this? What did we do to them?

"Som, dinners ready" my mother calls.

"Coming" I grumble. I take a seat down at the table. I eat my food slowly and my father seems to notice.

"Something bothering you Som?" he asks. I just shake my head, finish my last leaf of salad and walk upstairs into my room and lock the door. Now I can't even bear to talk or even LOOK at my parents anymore. I try to sleep, but nightmares hunt me over and over again. Some nights I wore my armor because I was so afraid. My REAL mother screaming, my REAL father getting blasted to smithereens, and the rest my tribe's village being burnt down by...

"Crystal Ponies" I growl. Why do I live here if i'm a shadow? Is that why kids at school are always looking at me that way? The more questions I ask myself the more angry I become.

"Why should be alive AT ALL?! If i'm a DREADED SHADOW PONY?!?!" I scream as loud as I can. Every time I thought about my about my real parents and my tribe I cry, but one day something unusual happened. When I cried my tear was purple and it turned into steam. I tried to wash it off, but it made more steam. Soon, there was a bunch of purple steam flowing out of my eyes.

"AHHHH!" I scream. I look at the mirror and notice that my eyes are green. GREEN! I think I was hallucinating, but I wasn't sure. Suddenly, I was zoomed into my green eyes and I saw my nightmare all over again. I scream and run out of the bathroom and into the kitchen.

"MOOOOM!!!" I scream. She looks at me and backs away, suddenly her eyes are green too. I'm zoomed into her eyes and see.. a vision? A dream? No, a fear! It shows Princess Celestia finding out that my mother was hiding a shadow pony.

"Som, go to your room" she screams. Then I say something I didn't think I would say.

"No!" I shout and sprint out the door. When I run out crystal guards see that I have dark magic and chase me.

"STOP!!! SHADOW PONY!" one guard shouts.

"GET HIM!!!" the other one commands. I'm chased into the mountains when I finally had enough. I shot a gray crystal into one of crystal ponies, impaling him.

"That's for my father!" I yell as I run away into the tundra. I run into a cave and stay in there for a few days. Over those days I thought real hard about what was happening. A. Now I have a power to look into ponies fears. B. Now there is purple smoke coming out of my eyes. C. My eyes turn green as well as the pony I'm staring at when doing the fear looking. And D. I found out that I am a shadow pony, one of the most feared ponies in all the land. My shiny armor is losing it's glow and is starting to look dull.

I look out at the field of snow where I fought the two guards. The one I had killed was still there and his was wearing a red cape. I took it and wrapped around myself. I decided that I was going to avenge all the shadow ponies. By destroying the crystal ponies. Which meant, I could keep the name Som I had. It was from a crystal pony. Well, I was in the tundra.. My name was Som.. Somtun? No. Somdra? Close, but what if I changed the d to a b. Then, the name comes to me.
