Ponyville

After I knew a bit about every pony, they walked me to Ponyville. As we made our way there, I told them about people, or at least what I remembered, and other things about Earth and the countries there. They were shocked when I told them about racism and all the wars. I told them about how I hated it and just wanted peace. They assured me that things like that very rarely happened in Equestria, and when it did happen, it was stopped quickly.

Now, I liked them all, even though it seemed like Rainbowdash didn't really trust me all that much, but I kind of like one of them a bit more than the rest. Fluttershy. She seemed cute. Her pink mane took the shape of a heart. I thought she looked cute sometimes when she was shy. She liked animals just like I did, and she could speak with them too! Her voice was nice and very gentle. I kind of liked her a bit more because of these things. But, I don't think I have a chance with her, probably not for a long time, since I'm a human and she's a pegasus. It could happen, but most likely not.

Once we got to Ponyville, Princess Celestia flew to the center and had the residents of Ponyville come to the center. She then got me up on a large platform amd greeted me to all of the ponies. I was kind of nervous, because I'm not a fan of being in front of a huge crowd. Celestia explained what I was and where I came from and how I should be treated like everypony else. After that, she lead me to the new house she said she would build me. It was a two stroy house and was much like the others, except it had a sign to the left of the door reading, "Roe".

"Thank you. I'm just, I can't believe you did all of this for me even though this is the first time you've seen a human."

She smiled. "I know that you are special. I just know it."

THE NEXT DAY

I woke up the next morning, feeling hungry. As I walked down the stairs my belly growled. It growled loud enough that I felt my entire body shake! Grabbing my pouch of coins, I counted my money.

*One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve bits.* Only twelve? From what they said twelve bits isn't so much. I'll see if I can find anything to eat anyways.

As I walked outside, I saw a sign reading, "<--- Ponyville Market". It was pointing west. I decided that would be a good place to start. Once I got to the end of the street, it split into to paths, one north, and one south. I looked down the southern path and saw only houses. I looked at the northern path and saw some ponies carrying bags full of food. I imagined that's where a market would be, so I headed down that path.

At the end of the path I couldn't believe my eyes! A huge group of markets and ponies everywhere! I looked at the signs trying to decide what to buy. I wasn't paying attention to anything until I was pulled back around the corner. Suddenly, I was backed up against a wall and a familiar cyan pegasus was holding me against it, with a hoof raised.

"What are you doing?" It was more of a demand than a question, but I had to answer. The pony had a hoof ready to punch me at any moment!

"I was just trying to find something to buy because I'm hungry." She just stared at me, not letting go.

"You don't trust me, do you?" I asked Rainbowdash.

"Not one bit!" She let go and spread her wings. "I'm watching you." She took off into the air almost instantly. I could only see a shadow following me now, but I knew it was her.

I just let it slide and walked around the food markets, trying to decide what to buy. I saw Applejack setting up a market, with an enthusiastic apple sign above it. When she finished setting it up I walked over to her and asked how much an apple was.

"One bit per apple. Y'all wantin t'buy one?"

I gave her two bits and ate one apple. I saved the other one for later. On my way home, I noticed a grey pegasus with a mailman hat on and a bag full of mail put something in my mailbox. I opened the mailbox and grabbed the mail. Just a single envelope. I opened it up only to be blasted with confetti and streamers. An invitation to a party. Obviously Pinkie Pie was holding the party, but it didn't say who the party was for. I had to go. All the ponies here say that Pinkie's parties were legendary! I just had to see it for myself!

I looked closely at the address. It said the party was at my house! I walked up to the door, ready for anything. I opened the door, and was flooded with confetti and streamers! When I got up, the confetti was up to my waiste! I looked up to see Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, Rainbowdash, Twilight, and a small dragon gasping for air!

Rainbowdash wasn't happy. "I think you used too much confetti."

Pinkie ignored the comment and started doing back strokes in the confetti. I tried walking inside, and when I took a step in, I heard a soft scream. Fluttershy flew out from in front of me and dug into the confetti on the other side of the house! It scared me when she jumped out, which caused me to fall back into the confetti.

When I got up, Pinkie Pie grabbed a cannon from the confetti and souted, "FIRE IN THE HOLE!!!!" The cannon blasted out more confetti, and I had to look away because streamers were being shot my way! When I looked at my house again, most of the confetti was gone, and there was a giant banner hanging across the room reading, "HAPPY FIRST DAY IN PONYVILLE ROE".

"What...is this?" My question was filled with shock, amazement, and confusion.

The dragon explained what happened. "Anytime someone new comes to Ponyville, Pinkie throws them a party celebrating their arrival in Ponyville inside their home. Im Spike by the way."

Spike. The name didn't really seem to fit him, seeing how he did not even have a single spike on him. But I guess anyone would name a dragon that. The party just went on as a usual party, games, food, some chit chat, until it was nighttime. Pinkie said a special guest was coming, but I didn't expect it to be a DJ! She said her name was DJ PON-3. She made the best music ever! Dubstep was played all night long! I think Rainbowdash got a bit drunk, cause it looked like she was flirting with Twilight and was very wobbly! She kept on urging me to try some cider, but I didn't want any until Pinkie Pie said it was the best drink in all of Equestria! Note to self: Don't try anything Pinkie Pie says is the best thing in Equestria without some proof backing it up. I was out in a few hours.

I woke up the next morning on my couch. The place was a mess! I walked upstairs into my bedroom to find a lump under my blanket. I lifted the covers and found Fluttershy had fallen asleep in my bed!

Fang

It was a sight to see. I think she was scared of the loud noise and hid under the covers.

"Fluttershy? C'mon, it's time to wake up. C'mon." I nudged her a few times until her eyes slowly opened.

"Huh? What......happened last night......." she was still a bit sleepy. She looked around and gasped. "I-i'm so sorry! I didn't mean to sleep in your bed without permission! Please forgive me!"

I was confused. "Sorry? Why are you sorry? Rainbowdash is still asleep on the floor downstairs and I didn't have to give her permisson. Last night was a bit crazy. You don't have to be sorry."

She seemed a bit better, but was still upset for what she had done. I sat down on the bed beside her and tried cheering her up. "Hey, look. I'm not mad. It's alright. Things got really crazy last night, so I wouldn't be mad if I found someone in my bathtub! How about you go back to your cottage. I heard you have some animals to take care of."

It seemed to work. She smiled and trotted out the room. Before she left, she turned around and waved "goodbye". I walked downstairs to get Rainbowdash up from her sleep. "Hey. Hey 'Dash get up. Rainbowdash get up!" I was starting to get annoyed. "RAINBOWDASH GET UP!!!"

"AAH WHO WHAT WHERE?!?! Huh? What happened last night?" She rubbed her forehead as she got up on her hooves.

I decided to give it to her straight. "Ya got drunk."

She blinked a couple times. "Uuum, I'll.....just be on my way." In the blink of an eye, she was gone.

I spent the next three hours cleaning up the place. I looked for the other apple I had bought yesterday. When I found it, it was in the toilet. *there goes one bit wasted* I thought to myself as I threw away the apple. I was going to have to buy something else, but couldn't find my money pouch! Somebody had stolen it, and the only person, er, pony I could think of was the DJ. I was going to have to make some money.

I wasn't good at anything, except cleaning things and taking care of animals. I imagined door number 2 would be a better choice, because I was not gonna risk getting put on bathroom duty!

I walked around Ponyville, asking for jobs involving animals. They all said I could try working at Fluttershys' cottage.

I headed out for her cottage, deciding to see if I can work helping out with the animals. Working here could also allow me to spend some time with Fluttershy!

Once I got there, I heard a scream.

I ran. I ran as fast as heck! When I got to the back of the cottage, I saw a large wolf monster, brown and woody, backing her up against a tree. The monster was twice as big as Fluttershy. I could see that the beat was salivating from here! Looking around for a weapon, I grabbed the thing closest to me. A mop.

You might think a sneak attack would be the best thing in this situation, but being me, or at least what i remember of me, I charged the beast, mop ready to strike, screaming.

It turned around and saw me. I tried to stop, but i had tripped over a root. *stupid roots* i thought to myself. I looked up, and saw the beast right before my eyes. Its' glowing green eyes stared at me. Its' mouth drooling. Suddenly, everything went slow motion. I watched in horror as the monsters jaws reached out to grab me. The beasts' jaws were now closing down on my head, but before he could even lay a tooth on me, a grey blur shot out of nowhere, and knocked the monster on its' side.

I looked closely at my savior. It was....a husky!!! The canine had two large, backwards curving fangs protruding from its upper jaw. It lunged at the monstrous terror right when it got back up. I looked closely at its' fangs, as they seemed to glow a bit and grew! The husky landed on the wolf-beast and bit hard into its' neck, furiously shaking its' head back and forth to tear out chunks of the monsters' flesh, no not flesh, wood! Splinters flew past my head like speeding bullets!

It kept on tearing through the wooden monster until a green liquid burst from its' back! the husky jumped off of the monster and urged me and Fluttershy to duck behind the tree. Fluttershy and the canine did, but i peered from the side, watching the beast spurting green liquid from the tear in its' back, shaking and coughing up the green stuff. After a few seconds of struggling, the beast collapsed. I was going to step out from behind the tree, but was yanked back by the collar of my shirt. When i saw it was the husky who did it, there was a burst of flames coming from both sides of the tree!

I looked back around the tree to see a silver katana blade! The dog ran over to the katana and grabbed it in his mouth.

We all looked behind us when we heard someone yelling, "Fluttershy!!! Fluttershy, are you alright?" We saw Twilight galloping toward us.

When she reached us, we both explained what happened. Fluttershy said it was a Timber Wolf, but it wasn't one she had seen before. While we were discussing this, i felt something nudge my leg. I turned around, and saw the husky place the katana blade in front of my feet and bowed down.

Twilight saw this and gasped. "A magical husky? That's what saved you?"

Every time Twilight said something like this, I needed an explanation. "What's a magical husky?"

Twilight pulled out a book from her saddlebag. "A magical husky is a rare, but special husky that is born with magical powers, usually strength enhanced powers. When ever it saves somepony, it usually means they sense something special about them, and will be loyal to that somepony. But, before it becomes they ponies companion, it will find a weapon of some sort, and have the pony train it to make sure that they are special. It seems that he thinks you're special, because he's giving you a weapon."

I picked up the katana. I remembered that i was good at handling katana blades, but i don't remember who i trained with. "So, how do i train him?"

Twilight searched in her book. "It says that you have to block his every move with the weapon until he bows down, showing he thinks you're ready. Do you think you can do this?" She didn't think I could do it, but I knew I could.

"I'm fine. I remember I've practiced blocking with a katana before." I entered a ready position, with the blade facing the husky. "Ready."

The husky charged me. I stayed in my position. He kept running. Closer. Closer. Closer. He now jumped towards me, only a yard away. Quickly, I thrust out my arm, grabbing him by the neck, and held him on the ground with the blade ready to slice the back of his neck. I placed a foot on his back, so he couldn't move. After about a minute of struggling, he gave up. I slowly lifted my hand off of his neck, and my foot off of his back. The husky got up, and bowed down.

"So, does that mean, I'm going to do something that will save all of Equestria?" I chuckled a bit.

Before any of them could respond, there was a loud booming sound, like something blew up! We all looked toward the source of the sound. It looked like it came from Ponyville! All of us ran to Ponyville. When we got there, large objects were falling from the sky! Gaurds and ponies were running everywhere!!!

Twilight ran towards a gaurd who was wearing fancier armor than the rest. "Brother!!! What's going on?" Twilight wrapped her front legs around the gaurd.

I ran up to them. "Twilight? who's this?" I looked closer at the gaurd. He seemed familiar. "Hey, I know you! You're the one who called me a vile beast and threw me in that carriage!!!"

He pushed Twilight off of him. "Hey I didn't know that you were the one calling for help! I barely even knew that you were nice because, last time i checked, humans didn't live in Equestria!"

That last comment filled me with anger. "That tears it!" I raised my blade, ready to strike, but before i could, both of us were lifted into the air away from each other.

Twilight had lifted us both into the air. "Stop it! Now, you two may have gotten off to a rough start, but if you didn't notice, Ponyville is under attack!!! Now, I want you both to say you're sorry and become friends!" She lowered us both down.

We both said it in unison. "I'm sorry."

It seemed to please her. "Good. Now, what in Equestria is going on?!"

"Queen Chryisalis Is Ba-" Was all he could manage before an object flew down in the middle of us and threw us all into the air. Everything went black.

"Roe................Roe.............ROE!!!!" I woke up and saw Twilight, hoof raised, ready to slap me in the face. "Oh good, you're awake. Now, COME ON!!!!!!"

I Got up and looked around. There were bug like ponies flying around. "What are those things?!" I couldn't believe my eyes!

"Changelings! We need to go, NOW!!!" Twilight was running away from Ponyville.

I wasn't leaving. I was not going to leave all of the ponies who were kind to me, even though they hardly even know me.

"What are you doing? We need to go!" Twilight ran up in front of me and tried pushing me. "I'm not leaving." She looked up at me, shocked and confused. "I'm not going to let these things kill everypony." I Shoved her out of the way, katana in hand, and ran toward the center of Ponyville. As I got closer to the center, I heard a familiar, tomboyish scream. I Looked to my left and saw Rainbowdash backed up against a wall in an alleyway with a changeling creeping up to her. Her wings and hooves were glued to the wall with some green slime. I Climbed up a building connected to the alleyway, probably not the best thing to do when flying things are attacking, and got into a position where I could land right on top of the beast.

I pointed my katana down and jumped off the building into the alleyway, landing right on top of the monster. The blade landed in its' skull and green liquid burst out. The changeling was dead. Rainbowdash had her eyes closed during the whole thing. When she opened them, she saw me pull my katana out of the creatures skull. "Y-Y-You saved me?" She couldn't believe it. "Even though I was about to punch you in the face that time at the markets you still saved me?"

I started cutting the green goo with my blade. "Yup. Friends gotta look out for each other, don't they?" I had just finished cutting her loose.

She looked up for a small second, and she froze completely. "Look out!!!"

I turned around and saw another changeling flying towards me. Before i could react, a similar grey blur shot out from above us and grabbed the creature by its' neck and shook it violently. When it finished, the husky turned around and faced us. I looked closely. He had a collar on. I looked closely at it. There was a golden nametag on it that read, "Fang".

I smiled as i pet his head. "Thanks Fang, again." I chuckled a bit.

"You mean you know him?" I turned to look at Rainbowdash, who was filled with glee!

"Of course I Know him! He's my friend!"

Rainbowdash looked at the husky. "So, he's a pet?"

Fang growled at that comment. "No. He's my companion. Different from a pet."

The cyan pegasus understood this. I Turned around and looked again at Fang. "Fang, we got some changelings to kill and some ponies to save."

Captured

We ran out the alleyway looking for other ponies in need. It seemed like the changelings were disappearing however. When we finally did find some they were surrounding three little fillies!

There were five changelings, all ready to kill the fillies. Before any of them could strike I cut the head off of one. They all looked at me and Fang.

"Fang, you distract the changelings, I'll save the fillies. Got it?" Fang nodded in agreement.

He darted out, making sure to attack each changeling at least once, and ran away, luring the changelings. I quickly ran over to the fillies. An earth pony with a red mane and soft yellow coat, a pegasus with an orange coat and purple mane, and a unicorn with white coat and purple mane with a pink streak through it. I realized that their hooves were glued to the ground and cut each of them out.

I jammed my katana through my pack, since I knew Rarity could fix it anyways, and picked each of them up and asked them where to go. They said that gaurds were on the outskirts of Ponyville and that we could take them there. I started running fast, but the weight of the three fillies slowed me down.

Rainbowdash flew by my side and offered to help. "I can take them off your hooves, er, hands for you."

Something was off about her. She seemed a bit too kind to be Rainbowdash. But I saw Fang running away from a whole swarm of changelings, so I needed the help! Still, something was off about her, so I didn't trust her. I knew Fang could take care of himself however. "No thanks. I got this."

Rainbowdash didn't give up. "Come on. Let me help out! We've been friends as long as I can remember!"

I stopped. "Wait, I thought you didn't like me when I first arrived?" My suspicion grew when she started sweating. I set the fillies down and pulled the katana out of my Pack. "How do I know you're the real Rainbowdash?"

She started sweating more. "C-Come on. You know me! We've been friends our whole lives!"

"I didn't know you till three days ago, and I'm eighteen years old." I raised my weapon. "Don't play any games. I will strike."

Out of nowhere, another Rainbowdash flew and tackled the other! They both struggled, biting and kicking each other!

I just watched as one of them spoke. "TAKE THEM TO THE GAURDS!!! I'LL TAKE CARE OF THIS CHANGELING!!!"

"NO, GIVE THEM TO ME!!!!! I'LL TAKE CARE OF THEM!!!!!!!"

I knew which one to trust. I jammed the katana back into my pack, picked up the fillies, and ran. As I got nearer to the edge of Ponyville, I heard the sound of buzzing, like a bee flying. From all sides, I was swarmed with by the bug-like ponies! I was doomed. I placed the fillies down behind me, grabbed my katana, and got ready to defend.

Almost immediately, they all flew towards us. I sliced each one into two pieces as they flew towards me. But each time I killed one, another changeling took its' place! As I continued slicing, I felt something sticky at my feet. I looked down. My feet were being shot at with the glue! I turned and looked at the fillies. Their hooves were being shot at with glue also! I tried to cut us free, but we kept getting shot at with it!

After I got all of the fillies cut free, Three changelings shot out and took them, flying away into the Everfree forest! I yelled as I watched them get taken away. I stopped and my head lowered. I was filled with anger. It flowed through my veins. I felt something, weird, like I was filled with enough energy to lift up a tank! I couldn't control what happened next. My eyes and body glowed white. I yanked the green slime off my feet and ran faster than Rainbowdash could fly! When I was just below the changelings I jumped up to them and sliced off their wings! I jumped up 30 feet in the air!

When the changelings dropped the fillies I reached for all three of them and tucked them close to my chest. We landed hard on the ground, but I took less damage than I was supposed to. I quickly got up and ran to the edge of town, fillies in one hand, katana blade in the other. Every time a changeling came, it was quickly sliced into two pieces with my blade.

Everything would be going great, if I hadn't tripped over something. I dropped the fillies and my blade. I looked over to see my entire leg was covered in green glue! I tried to reach my katana, but was stopped when my arms and other leg were glued to the ground! I looked into the fillies eyes as the changelings flew towards me. "Run! Run as fast as you can and don't stop until you've reached the edge of town! GO! NOW!!!" The fillies took off without looking back to help me. I tried desperately to reach my blade. My strength had disappeared. I managed to break free of the glue with my right hand and grabbed the katana and stuck it through my pack again.

I waited for my fate, for the beasts to finish me. Instead, I was coated in glue and taken away into the Everfree forest. I was taken into a large cave, with changelings everywhere, and stuck onto the top of a large room. The room had other large, green cocoon shaped blobs of goo hanging from the ceiling. I could still move around the inside of the green blob. I sat upright and grabbed my katana.

I carefully sliced an opening through the blob, making sure it did't breaking apart from my added weight. I went over to the opening I sliced, but I must have sliced a bit to far down. The bottom part of the blob ripped open, and I almost fell down a twenty foot drop. I managed to grab a small strand of goo before I fell. I carefully jumped down and looked at the other blobs. I saw other ponies in them! There were only four, but I had to cut them out. I sliced the bottom of three of the blobs open and caught the ponies. I looked into the fourth one and saw something I couldn't believe!

"Fluttershy?" My mouth hung open as I looked closely at the pegasus. She was asleep. I cut out an opening an she fell through. I grabbed her just in time, with her left side facing me. I felt something run down my arm. I looked at her right side and found two small cuts one the right side of her face, as if something scratched her. The cut seemed a bit infected. I looked at the other ponies. An earth pony with a cream colored coat and an indigo mane with a pink streak that curled up at the end, a mint green unicorn with light blue hair with a white streak, and a grey pegasus with a blond mane and golden cross-eyed eyes.

I looked at the unicorn. "You, do you know any healing spells? I think her cuts are infected."

She gasped. "ARE YOU THE HUMAN EVERYPONY HAS BEEN TALKING ABOUT?! I ALWAYS KNEW HUMANS EXISTED AND NOW I'M MEETING ONE FOR REAL TH-"

"Yes yes I'm the human everybody has been talking about, but that doesn't answer my question."

The unicorn blushed. "Oh um, yeah I know one."

I showed her the cuts on Fluttershys' face. Her horn gave off an amber yellow glow. Fluttershys' cuts soon gave off the same colored glow. Golden swirls came from the unicorns' horn as they land on the pegasus' cuts. I looked at her wound. It was healing, slowly, but surely. After about a minute, the swirls stopped protruding from the unicorns horn, and Fluttershys' face was healed.

"Fluttershy. Fluttershy wake up! Fluttershy!"

Her eyes barely opened, but soon shot open as she remembered what had happened. "W-w-where are w-we?"

The cream coated pony answered her question. "We're in some sort of cave. Maybe the changeling hives?"

She froze. After about five seconds, tears rolled down her eyes. Soon afterward she burst into tears, putting her face in my chest. She was still in my arms, so I sat down and set her on my lap. I stroked her mane, assuring her we'll be alright. "It's ok. We'll be fine. I'll protect you if anything tries to hurt you."

She looked up from my chest, and smiled. I wiped the tears from her eyes. "Let's get out of here. I remember the exit perfectly."

She hopped off my lap. I got up and grabbed my pack from the ground. The rip in it was too big to carry my books and katana, allowing them to fall as I picked up my pack.

The grey pegasus grabbed my books and placed them in her saddlebags. "I'll carry those for you mister!"

I chuckled. Grabbing my katana, I lead them out of the room. It was too dark to see. There were torches to the other room, but they were nailed into the wall. The unicorn lit up her horn bright enough for us to see. The walls seemed jagged. Seemed a bit strange since cave walls are usually smooth. Somebody must have carved them to give the walls an eerie feeling, because if they did, it was working. We all felt as if we were being watched. After a minute or so of walking, we came across a place were the paths split into two, one going left and one going straight ahead.

I chose the left path. We walked for another minute and found a sharp left turn. "Alright, the exit should be just around this-" I stared at the rock wall, sealing where the exit should be, covered in changelings. "run." They all stared at me. "RUN!!!" We all headed down the other path in a full out sprint as changelings chased after us. They didn't seem to try and capture us, but push us down the other path. I had a really bad feeling about this.

Death Of A Chrysalis

As we got pushed deeper into the cave, I heard a scream. I looked behind me and found that the changeling swarm had filled the entire cave behind us and was closing in, and Fluttershy was about a yard from getting caught in it! I ran back for her, scooped her up in my left arm, and ran back with the rest. While we continued running, I saw something above us in the distance. A changeling was swooping down, ready to strike the earth pony!

Instantly, I threw my blade at the changeling, and the katana landed in its neck. As I ran past it, I did a quick spin, yanking the katana out of its' neck, and kept my speed.

The cave started to curve right. As we ran farther down the curve, there was a greenish glow. Pretty soon, the cave was going straight again, and there was a large room with a glowing, green things in it. We ran inside it, having no other option to do anyways. After we ran inside, the changeling swarm surrounded us from all sides.

I looked around. The glowing, green things were crystals. Another changeling, much larger than the rest, looking a whole lot like an alicorn flew down, landing on a platform facing the entrance. I partly hid Fluttershy inside my coat. I could feel her heart beating fast, and she was trembling with fear.

"Who are you?" I demanded, readying my katana for battle.

She gave a shocked expression. "You mean you've never heard of me? Queen Chrysalis? The exact same Queen Chrysalis who attacked Canterlot a few years back?"

I shook my head "no". "All I know is that you're trouble."

She laughed. "Doesn't matter. I've found a spell allowing me to gain enough power from all the love from everypony in Equestria!!! So, now I can destroy you and you're friends." she said in between chuckles.

I raised my eyebrow. "What do you mean you gained power from everyones' love?"

She facepalmed, er, facehoofed, at my question. "You seriously don't know anything about me, do you?"

"Nope."

"I Don't believe this." Suddenly, her anger turned into a devilish grin. "You know, I was going to kill you and let my changelings feast on you're flesh," Fluttershy squealed and hid deeper into my coat. "But how about I just make you lucky five prisoners my slaves instead?"

I looked at Fluttershy, then at the other ponies. I glanced up at a hole in the ceiling, leading to the outside, then looked at Queen Chrysalis. "I'll be you're slave. I'll do everything you want me to."

They all gasped, except for Queen Chrysalis. "hmm, how about the other-"

"If you let them go." I pointed at the others.

She was reluctant at first, but agreed. "Alright. Changelings, let the rest go!"

The changelings behind us moved out of the way, making a path for them. I looked down at Fluttershy, who stared into my eyes with shock and disbelief. I stroked her mane. "It's alright. I know what i'm doing. I set her down on the ground and gestured her to go with the rest. She reluctantly cantered over to them.

Queen Chrysalis cheered and clopped her hooves together. I looked back at the hole in the ceiling. I gave a small nod to it. The queen looked up there. "What are you-"

Fang jumped down onto her, fangs glowing, and attacked, biting into her neck! I ran to the mint green unicorn and whispered something in her ear as changelings swarmed all around the place. She nodded, and her horn glowed that same amber color. She fired a green energy beam from her horn into my katana. I raised my blade high up. I pointed it downwards, holding it in both hands. With all of my strength, I jammed the katana blade into the ground, causing a green exlposion to fire out, killing all of the changelings! They dropped dead in a matter of seconds. I turned around and saw Fang on his side, with Queen Chrysalis charging up a green blast. I charged her, silently, and jump kicked her side. She fell down, and her green energy blast had disappeared.

She looked up at me. I raised my blade, ready to jam it into her neck. "You don't mess with Fluttershy, or anybody else that is my friend, EVER!!!"

I jammed the katana into her neck without any mercy. She struggled for a minute, screaming, until her neck dropped and her legs and wings stopped thrashing about. "She's dead!" I called out to the others. I pulled out my katana from her neck.

I walked over to Fang. His left foreleg was bent slightly to the left. I could obviously tell it was broken. "I'm surprised that you're not screaming or thrashing." I chuckled a bit, but was completely silenced when I realized why.

Back Into The Forest

THREE MONTHS LATER

Three months have passed since I killed Queen Chrysalis. Life has been going great for me! I now have a job working at Fluttershys' cottage, getting paid four bits a week. I thought of that amount. Rainbowdash now fully trusts me! And I have practiced my skills with the katana blade enough that I'm practically a pro! The only thing that can make it better, is if I could have my memory back. But if I did get it back, I might remember that I have a fear of ponies or something like that. It could happen!

I had to get a new house however, because mine was nothing but rubble after the changelings attacked. I decided to have a new one built in a meadow near Fluttershys' cottage. I had to go half a mile to the right of my house, then I would be on a path leading to her house. Fang, however, wasn't doing so good. He almost died when he was fighting Queen Chrysalis. He fell into a coma and had a badly broken left leg. He's doing fine now. His magical abilities have somewhat helped him heal, but his leg is to injured for him to walk on it yet. A few more weeks and he should be fine, or at least that's what Fluttershy told me.

It was Friday night, and Twilight asked me if I wanted to meet Zecora, a zebra who lives in the Everfree forest. I wasn't so sure. "So you're saying, that she lives in there?!" I pointed at the forest.

"Yup, but we know the way to her hut. Applebloom likes to hang out there and always enters and exits the forest completely fine! So I'm certain that you'll be safe as well."

I looked back at Fang, who was still lying down on the couch looking out the window. "What about Fang? He needs someone to take care of him and keep him company He doesn't do well being alone."

Twilight looked over my shoulder at my companion. "How about Spike? He can stay here with Fang. He's good at taking care of-"

"Don't say it!"

Twilight gave me a dirty look. "Why doesn't he liked to be called that?" She was getting annoyed by this.

"Because he's special. If it wasn't for him, I would have been eaten by a Timberwolf and Queen Chrysalis would have demolished Ponyville. Besides, he's much more than just a you-know-what. He saved my butt THREE TIMES! He's just like Spike, not a pet, a companion."

Twilight rolled her eyes. "Fine. Still, do you think Spike could watch him while we visit Zecora?"

I looked back at Fang. "Fang, do you think that's fine?"

Fang looked at me and nodded his head a bit. He returned his gaze out the window.

I looked back at Twilight. "When can Spike come?"

"Oh he's here right now! Spike, you can come out now!"

Spike walked out from behind a rock in the distance and ran towards Twilight. "Why...*huff*...did I..*huff*...have to...*huff*...hide behind that...*huff*...rock?"

Twilight raised an eyebrow. "I never said you had to hide behind that rock, you just hid there!"

"THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU GET ME FROM BEHIND THERE?!?!?!"

Twilight shrugged. "Hey Spike, do you think you can stay here with Fang while we go to Zecoras'?"

Spike collapsed on the ground. "Alright." He crawled in, obviously still tired, and sat on the couch next to Fang.

I grabbed my katana and put the sheath Rarity made me on. It was a regular leathery black sheath. She also made a special belt that the sheath attaches to. Same as the sheath, except the belt is brown. I can attach the sheath on the left or right side of the belt. I attached the sheath on the left side.

"Why do you need that?" Twilight pointed at my belt.

"Because, who knows? A pack of timber wolves might attack, or worse. I always take this whenever I go out into the wild."

Twilight giggled a bit. "And I thought I was the ony one who prepared for almost anything!"

I rolled my eyes and looked back at Fang. "See ya Fang. I'll be back, um," I turned to Twilight. "What time will we be back?"

"Probably by sunset."

It turned back to Fang. "I'll be back by sunset."

After Twilight said goodbye to Spike, I shut the door and followed the lavender unicorn towards the forest. As we reached the edge of the Everfree, we heard a familiar high squeaky voice call out.

"ROE, TWILIGHT, WAIT FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Before I could see who yelled for us, I was tackled by an all too familiar pink blur. I fell on by back and saw Pinkie Pies' face in mine.

She blushed a bit, but you could barely notice it because her bright pink fur absorbed the color. "oops! sorry 'bout that."

She hopped off of me, allowing me to breathe. I got up, still a bit wobbly from have all the air in my body knocked out of my lungs, and started rubbing my head. Pinkie tried desperately to hold back a laugh. "What? Whats so funny?" Twilight summoned a mirror with her magic and showed me what was so funny. I had a huge hoofprint on my forehead. Pinkie was building up the laughter so much, she started to sweat and her cheeks were blown up like balloons!!!! After a minute or two, she burst into laughter.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Oh I'm sorry its just that I can't help myseh-*wheeze* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Pinkie continued laughing, Twilight handed me a long white cloth bandage to tie around my head. I did tie it around my forehead just around the hoofprint, but you could still notice the small lump from it through the bandage. Pretty soon, we saw Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rainbowdash coming our way.

Applejack was the first one to reach us. "Rarity aint comin. Said she had somthin important t'do."

Pinkie stopped laughing and got in the orange mares face. Pinkie mode: activated. "didshesaywhatshewasdoingisshegoingsomewhereisshemakingdressesforsaphireshores*GAAAASSSSP*ISSHEGOINGTOMANEHATTEN???"

Applejack responded the best she could, but it was hard for her to focus with Pinkie Pie bouncing everywhere while she tried to speak. "Hold on just a minute sugarcube, she didn't say what she was doin. She just said that she was doin somthin important."

Rainbowdash hovered by my head. She pointed a hoof at my bandage. "Why is that on your head?"

I lifted up the white cloth. Her wings folded up and a shocked feeling engulfed her. She stammered a bit. I knew what she was trying to say, so I looked in Pinkies' direction. "Pinkie Pie ran into me."

The cyan pegasus started to snicker. Before she could burst out laughing I gave her a stern look. She stopped right when I did.

Pretty soon we were all headed out into the forest. Fluttershy followed extremely close by, probably because there were monsters in the Everfree forest and I had a weapon that I was skilled in handling. We traveled for about half a mile before we reached a part were the path split into two. Everypony just headed out for the right path, but I stayed back a bit.

Twilight turned around. "C'mon Roe, Zecoras' hut is this way!"

I still stood there. "I hear something."

They all listened for a moment. Pinkie suddenly started twitching and shaking and having spasm attacks all over!

I panicked a bit. "I-is she ok?!"

Rainbowdash flew beside my head. "Calm down, it's just her 'Pinkie Sense'. It's kind of like a future warning. A bit hard to explain."

I blinked a bit. "So, what does that mean?"

Pinkie tried to answer, but it was a bit messed up because now she started bouncing up and down a lot. "Iiiiiiit meeeaannsss ththat aa doozzzy suh bouout tto hhaaaapepeeeennnnnn."

"A doozy? What kind of-" *ROOOOOOAAAAAAHHHHG*

I saw something running towards us from the right path. A zebra!

I heard it call out to us. "Run for your lives pony folk! This hydra is not in the mood to joke!"

Before any of us could react, a gigantic, bipedal,four-headed beast came crashing from the trees! I pulled out my katana and urged Fluttershy to run. While everyone else ran away, Fluttershy just stood there, paralyzed from the fear that engulfed her. I tried everything to snap her out of her trance, but nothing worked. Having only one option left, I put the katana blade back into its' sheath and hoisted Fluttershy over my left shoulder. I outran the others as they started to pick up speed. Pinkie Pie had caught up to us when I realized the direction we were headed in.

I was running so fast, it was hard to stop. I crashed into a couple of bushes and threw Fluttershy just beside them as me and Pinkie Pie fell down a cliff. I couldn't see her, but was pretty sure she had snapped out of her trance. I looked down where we were headed. A river. You know how people say that when you fall off of a cliff, you feel light as air itself? Well, that's what it seemed to be like with Pinkie. She started swimming, somersaulting, and executing other various tricks midair.

"PINKIE?!?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WE'RE FALLING DOWN A GINORMOUS CLIFF, AND YOU'RE DOING MIDAIR ACROBATICS?!?!"

Pinkie stopped doing her stunts, looked at me with a blank face, and nodded. Just as she did, we hit the water. A surge of coldness hit me and I felt great! I swam to the surface. The river was calm, luckily. A bit too calm.

I looked around for the pink pony. "Pinkie? Pinkie Pie? Pinkie Pie, where are you?"

Pinkie burst her head out of the water gasping for air. Her mane became flat and straight. We swam to land. The water being extremely calm still kind of gave me an uneasy feeling. As we got onto shore, Pinkie shook her mane furiously. As water sprayed out like a sprinkler, its' fluffiness returned. She looked up and yelled, "That was FUN!!! Can we do it again? Can we, can we?"

I smiled. "Let's just focus on reuniting with the others first, okay?"

Pinkie nodded her head. I looked back up at the cliff. "What's wrong?" Pinkie walked up to me and looked at the cliff I was looking at.

"Just thinking about Fluttershy. I threw her back on land just at the last second. I hope she's okay."

A devious grin came to Pinkie Pies' face. "Wait, I think I know."

I looked at her. "What?"

Pinkies' grin grew. "You like her!" She poked my side with a hoof.

My face turned bright red. "N-no I don't! I just like her as a friend, that's all!"

"C'mon, say yah like her." If Pinkies' grin grew anymore, her face would split in half!

My face grew an even brighter red, and I started heating up. "Pinkie!"

"Roe and Fluttershy, sittin in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-"

"PINKIE SHUT UP!!!!!!" I lashed out with anger.

Pinkies' hair grew a bit droopy, and tears started forming up in her eyes.

I crouched down next to her. "Pinkie, I-I'm sorry. I shouldn't have lashed out at you like that."

I started rubbing her back to make her feel better. "I'm sorry."

Pinkie rubbed away her tears. "No, it's alright. I'm the one who should be apologizing. I should not have teased you. I'm sorry."

I chuckled a bit. Pinkie looked up at me, her mane starting to fluff up again. "What's so funny?"

I looked at her and smiled. "I guess we both have something to apologize for."

She smiled, and I brought her in for a hug. Her mane fluffed up completely, and she had stopped crying.

Just as I thought before, with the calm river seeming suspicious, I was proven right. The Hydras' heads all raised from the water, and me and Pinkie watched in horror as they got taller and taller.

I whispered something into Pinkie Pies' ear that we probably would have already done. "Run."

As each head flew down to snatch us up, I grabbed the pink pony in my right arm and sprinted off deeper into the forest.

As we crashed through plants and bushes, I muttered something under my breath. "Curse you Everfree. With your stupid Hydras and Timberwolves and stuff."

As we kept on running, I heard large footsteps. But, instead of them getting closer, they seemed to be getting farther. Even though we were probably safe, I still kept on with Pinkie in my right arm. I knew I wasn't gonna take my chances with that thing!

After about half an hour of running, I stopped dead in my tracks. We found ourselves a nice place to camp out. We were on top of a small cliff, about twenty feet or so. Below us was a large clearing with berries and nuts around the edges that I knew were edible. There was also a crystal clear pond about ten feet to the left of the clearing. But what we liked the best of this little place, was that about fifteen feet straight ahead of us was a cave.

A nice, cozy shelter. I set Pinkie Pie down, ready to jump down there, but when I did, the soil gave in. It collapsed right under my feet, causing me to fall down. I fell, aright, but the impact was had enough to cause me to black out.

I woke up, still in the clearing. I looked around. Everything still seemed like I remembered, cliff that gave in, clearing, crystal clear pond, edible bushes and nuts, still the same. But what wasn't the same was that there was fog everywhere, and it was cold. Cold enough to cause my breath to come out visible as that white cloud.

I searched around for Pinkie Pie. "Pinkie? Pinkie Pie? Where'd you go?" I turned around and found Pinkie on her belly. Her eyes where closed.

I crawled up to her to wake her up. I placed my hand on her shoulder, ready to start nudging her to get her up, but when I did, her skin disintegrated! My hand went into her body! No flesh, only bone. I pulled out my hand and stumbled backwards. Pretty soon, the rest of her skin started to disintegrate right before my eyes!

I stammered, still in shock of what happened to my friend. "P-P-Pi-P-Pink-k-kie????"

I heard a familiar, female laugh. It had an evil feeling to it. I looked around, and saw bug-like pony creatures come from all sides! They were like changelings, but had piercing red eyes, small tusks instead of fangs, and looked much more bug-like!

As they came at me from all sides, I reached for my Katana. It wasn't there. All I could do was watch in horror as the creatures came for me.

Pretty soon, the first one struck. It hopped onto me from the front, pushing me onto my back! It clawed and scratched as it tried desperately to rip up my face! Other monsters were biting and scratching my legs and sides! I cried out in pain as one of the beasts ripped my left foot clean off! Just as it did, the thing I was holding broke free and lunged for my-

"*Gasp*.....uhg, where am I?'

I looked around. It was all a dream. A nightmare actually. A terrible one. I studied my surroundings a bit more. It was dark, wet, and really rocky. I sat up. I found that my left ankle had some kind of makeshift cast on it. My bandage was wrapped around my ankle with a small iron rod propping it up. I felt my forehead. The hoofprint was gone, but I had a massive headache.

I got up and looked around. I found the exit to the clearing. I was in a cave. I limped my way over to the exit and found Pinkie Pie filling up buckets with berries and nuts. I felt for my katana, but it wasn't there! I looked around and found it next to the entrance to the cave.

Pinkie saw me out of the corner of her eye and rushed for me with a smile on her face! She crushed me with all her might a she hugged me, crying. "ROE I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU'RE STILL ALIVE I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!!!!!!!!!!"

I managed to choke out some words while she continued sobbing. "Pin-k-kie, y-y-you're ch-chok-king me..."

She quickly released me. "Sorry."

I crouched down next to her. "It's okay. Hey, where did you get those buckets and this rod?"

Pinkie looked at them. "Oh, I found those sitting in the cave. Hey, do you know if these berries and nuts are edible? I was collecting them to see if you could figure out if we can eat them."

I looked at what she had picked, and then at the bushes she picked from. "They're all edible." I said with a slight smile.

She cheered and started eating them like a wild animal! I've never seen her eat like this since about two and a half months ago!

I knew I wasn't going home by sundown.

Survival Of The Fittest

Three days since the hydra attacked. Me and Pinkie Pie had managed to decorate the cave a bit with flowers, gems, and other pretty things to make it feel more, comfortable, I guess you could say. I had practiced some fishing with my katana by spearing fish from the pond. Pinkie didn't like the fish, but she's a pony, a vegetarian. I, on the other hand, had to eat meat for protein. The nuts did have a good amount of protein, but we were short on nuts. I only ate about two fish. Some sort of edible piranha. They were easy to catch because all you had to do was cause a little ripple on the far side of the pond, away from where we were, and the fish would start to come to the surface. It was a large pond. No, large was an understatement. It was an immense pond!

The third night it was a bit colder than usual, so we had to build a large fire. We knew that building this would not only warm us up, but if Rainbowdash or somebody else was searching from a high altitude, they might be able to spot the light from the fire and find the smoke.

Even thought we had built a fire big enough to engulf a pony-sized object entirely, we were still a bit cold. I couldn't believe that the night was that cold!!! Even though I was pretty chilly, Pinkie was a little colder than me, so I took off my coat and wrapped it around her.

She looked up at me and blushed a bit before looking back at the fire. "Thanks."

I chuckled a bit.

She looked back up at me. "What's so funny?"

I brought her in and sat her head on my lap. "Oh, 'nothin. It's getting pretty late. How about you get some sleep?"

She closed her eyes as I started stroking her mane. Pretty soon, she was fast asleep. I laid my backside against the dirt cliff and fell asleep as well.

I woke up to a high pitched scream. "ROE!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!"

I looked around and saw Pinkie getting dragged behind some bushes! I quickly pinched my arm as I got up. *Not a dream, this is for real* I thought to myself. I grabbed my katana and ran for my pink friend.

My running was slowed by my make-shift cast that Pinkie made me as I crashed through several bushes. When Pinkie was in my sights, I found that the kidnapper was a flier as I saw Pinkie Pie flying through the air far in the distance. I could see who the culprit was, but couldn't make out any crucial details. All that I knew was that it was black in color and had light blue wings. Pretty soon, Other flying things flew beside the kidnapper and each grabbed onto a different part of Pinkie, one grabbing her right side of her, the other grabbing her left. The original one still grabbed her by the hind legs.

I kept on running, still slowed down by my healing wound, but they were too fast for me! Every second we grew and inch apart from each other! I never stopped running. I already lost the others, along with Fluttershy. I was not going to lose Pinkie Pie! I continued to run faster and faster, ignoring the pain from my ankle! I was getting closer to her, but that wasn't going to help. I crashed through some bushes and fell down another cliff! I managed to grab onto a strong root with my left hand that was sticking out of the cliffs' edge.

I put the katana back into its' sheath on my belt, and grabbed on to the root with both hands, facing the cliff. Pretty soon, I heard an all too familiar buzzing noise. I turned away from the cliff and couldn't believe my eyes!!! Three of the changelings from my dream!!! I froze in fear, not knowing what I should do! Quickly looking around, trying to think of a plan, I gave up. They lunged at me and carried me off deep within the Everfree forest.

Even if I wanted to resist, it was useless. One of them had bit me and must of had some type of venom because I couldn't feel my limbs! They carried me deep into a large cave hidden behind foliage of all sorts. The cave was also littered with green crystals and changelings, however, most of them were the kind of changelings from my dreams. I occasionally found a group of the original changelings randomly around the place.

I was starting to gain feeling in my limbs again, but it was useless when I was taken into a large room in the cave and pinned against a wall. I was held above a load of sharp, green crystals pointed towards me. They shot the same green glue as before at my wrists and ankles as they were spread out, putting me in a star-like pose.

A few minutes later, a familiar, ginormous changeling flew down. Oh, did I mention that it resembled an alicorn?

I watched in awe as the creature stood before me, staring me right in the eyes since she was the exact height that I was now. "How did you- I thought I killed you! I made sure you were dead! I jammed my katana into your throat and repeatedly stabbed you with it after you almost killed my friends!!!"

An evil sneer came to her face. "Funny, I don't remember. Oh, wait! I do actually. You see, you killed my clone. I'm the real deal! And if your thinking of killing me, don't bother!"

She yanked off my belt, along with my katana, and threw it on top of the flat surface of a rock.

Queen Chrysalis turned back to look at me. "You're a bit lucky we are in my private room. Your friends are in another place. If they saw what I'm about to do to you, they would probably be scarred for life. You see, I feed off of love, and when I'm really hungry, then I will take it!"

I was horrified at that last sentence. "So, you're going to rape me?!"

She laughed maniacally for a minute. "I might. But only if I need to!"

She left the room with a devilish grin. "Buh-Bye! See you soon!" She laughed some more as I heard her wings beat as she flew away.

"See you soon?" Was she planning on raping me? I thought she said she might! I need to get out of here! I am strictly staying abstinent, no matter what! I searched frantically for a way to get out of this place, but to no avail. I was trapped and going to be molested by an evil, love hungry, changeling queen!!!

Then, I felt something strange about my left arm! It was not completely glued down! After a few minutes of struggling, I managed to release my left arm from the glues grasp! I quickly tried to reach for the iron rod from my left ankle. It was a bit hard, but I managed to grab the rod and pull it out.

I reached for the glue around my left ankle and cut it free! I cut the glue off of the wall and stuck it near the glue where my left arm was for later. I did the same thing to my right leg. I didn't cut out my right arm, but only get it loose enough to slip through.

I then placed the rod back into place and grabbed onto some glue with my left hand. Then, I slipped my right arm out and held onto some glue on the wall also. I then used the glue like suction cups and made my way beside the crystals on the ground. Letting go of the glue, I managed to put on my belt. She only yanked it off by unbuckling it.

I held onto my katana and crept out of the room. I found that the path as very narrow and to the left of it was a ginormous ravine. I slowly walked down the path, peaking into other rooms trying to see if I could find where everyone else was.

After about half an hour of searching, I heard the familiar country accent of a certain mare. "PUT ME DOWN YAH FILTHY VARMINTS!!! I'LL HAVE Y'ALL KNOW, THAT I HAVE THE STRENGTH T'WOOP YOUR FLANKS RED AS THE FRESHEST APPLES BACK AT MAH FARM!!!!"

I ran straight ahead for the sound. Pretty soon, I found Applejack being carried by two changelings into a room on the other side of the ravine. There was a bridge connecting the sides, big enough for me to cross. Without any hesitation, I ran to the other side and into the room. AJ had already been put in the same position as me. Without being seen, I cut off both of the changelings heads.

luckily, there were no crystals under her. I cut her free and caught her before she fell on the ground.

After I set Applejack down, she thanked me. "Oh sweet Celestia thank you!!! Ah thought we were gonna be trapped in this here darn place forever!!!"

I smiled and looked around. Everybody else was in the same situation. Everybody except for Fluttershy. She wasn't even there! After cutting out Pinkie Pie and Rainbowdash, I went over to Twilight. I took one quick glance at her horn before cutting her out.

"What happened to your horn? It's all, bloody, a-and cracked!"

She looked up at her horn and gasped! "What?! How long has it been like this?!"

Pinkie Pie bounced up and down a couple times. "It's been like that since I've been here!"

I held up my katana so she could she herself, like a mirror. Her horn was badly bruised at the base, causing the base to turn a deep blue color, and edges of it were cracked and broken off. I cut the unicorn loose and caught her. She was still traumatized at the sight of her horn.

I walked over to the zebra. "You must be Zecora. Pleasure to meet you!" I said as I freed her of the glue.

She spoke too, but every time she did, it was a rhyme.

"Why yes I am.

You must be Roe.

our friends have told you all about me.

Or so I know."

I was a bit dumbfounded by how fluently she rhymed, but that didn't matter right now. We had to find Fluttershy and get out of this place!

I imagined Queen Chrysalis knew about my feelings for Fluttershy, so we headed off in the direction that seemed a likely choice for the lair. The place in the cave that went deeper, more changelings around, and more crystals littered here and there. After about another half an hour of running deeper into the cave, we made it to a large room glowing with those weird crystals and filled with changelings.

The others stayed beside the entrance, out of sight, while I peeked inside. I found Fluttershy, well, Fluttershys' head, hanging upside down. The rest of her body was covered in the green goo. She was frightened. I looked around. Only changelings. The queen was nowhere to be found. I reached for my katana, but stopped when I heard large wing beats.

Queen Chrysalis flew down next to Fluttershy. I listened closely as the changeling queen said something to Fluttershy. "Why hello, Fluttershy, is it? I was just going to, how do you say, feed off your friend Roes' love. But, before I left, I thought of something just for you." A hoard of the newly evolved changelings flew down onto the ground from the ceiling. Then she flew up and made a small cut at the base of Fluttershys' prison with her horn. It slowly started to break more. Queen Chrysalis continued speaking. "I will let my changelings feed off of you."

I lost it. I couldn't control what happened next. My body and eyes glowed that same white glow when I saved those three fillies, but this time, My eyes were completely white, and I had two fangs protruding from my mouth.

The next thing I knew, I had backed up Queen Chrysalis against a wall, her horn and wings sliced off, and several cuts to her body, with my katana against her throat, ready to slice. The room was full of dead, sliced up changelings. My body was still the same, but the glow had decreased, and my pupils and irises had returned. I still had those two fangs.

Before I sliced her throat, I said these exact words through clenched teeth. "Nobody. Ever. Messes with. My friends. AND NOBODY!!! EVER!!! HURTS!!! FLUTTERSHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I cut her head clean off. No signs of mercy. My rage was released, and I grew tired and wobbly. My white glow disappeared, but my fangs were still there. They shrunk enough to stay behind my lips, but they were there.

I walked over to Fluttershy, who fell unconscious, and cut her free. I put the katana in its' sheath and carried the soft yellow pegasus toward the others, who were all in shock. I ignored their expressions and continued walking, looking for an exit. They all followed me, but stayed a good distance behind. As we continued our search for an exit, I heard a familiar bark.

I ran. I ran as fast as my legs could carry my. I staggered a bit because of my ankle, but took out the rod and stuck it in behind my belt. My ankle had fully healed somehow, but I didn't question how or why. I just ran to the sounds of barking. As I ran, I heard the barking increase in volume. I blocked any other noise. Pretty soon, I was outside in the forest with Fluttershy still asleep in my arms and Fang running towards me.

I reached out with my right arm and hugged Fang tightly. His leg had fully healed also! I watched as the others ran out with me. I saw Twilight run out and pull Spike in an extremely tight embrace.

As I continued to hold onto Fang, I felt tears rolling down my eyes.

Amnesia

I woke up, gasping for air. What happened last night? I can't remember a thing! Come to think of it, I don't remember anything up untill now! All I know are things I have learned in school. I don't remember anything else about me! I don't even remember my middle or last name!

I looked around, looking to see what environment I was in. Looked like a dense forest. It was very dark, probably because trees covered the sky. I stood up, stretching my limbs out. I noticed what I was wearing. A white tee shirt, jeans, black sneakers, and a brown, hooded coat that felt as if it was made from animal skin. I looked around, finding a small pack with my name on it. "Roe" I said to myself. I walked over to the pack and picked it up. Unzipping it, I rummaged through the pack, finding a small book on animals of all types, with a bookmark in it reading, "When I grow up, I will become a zoologist". I remembered that was my dream. I continued searching finding a book on mythological creatures. I remembered that I liked to study mythology. I noticed another bookmark, just a blank white one, on a page about pegasi, unicorns, and alicorns. It said all three lived in a land called "Equestria", but I didn't believe it was real. I also found a notebook and pencil. Inside the notebook were drawings of dragons, giants, and real animals. As I flipped through it, looking at all the pencil drawn artwork, i found one that caught my eye. A drawing of an alicorn, standing to the left of a setting sun on a mountain. It had so much detail. Every little detail was drawn. From simple marks to foliage in the distance, it was a masterpiece.

As I gazed in awe at something I don't remember drawing, I heard a growl. It was dog-like, more like a wolf. I quickly packed up everything, hoisted the pack over my shoulder, and ran. I ran faster than I ever imagined a person my age could run. However, I forgot the number one rule of running. Watch where your going. I turned around for a split second and quickly tripped over a large root. My left ankle bent farther than i imagined it was supposed to. My adrenaline didn't let me stop, as I couldn't feel any pain. While I clumsily limped away, I heard howling, followed by the sound of leaves rustling and something running. It sounded like it was running on all fours, giving a better chance it was a wolf. If it was, then I was doomed. If I recall, wolves have high endurance, and can marathon all day long.

I looked ahead, and saw light. An exit! I looked at the exit, still far away. It was night, obviously. Why else was it so dark? When I ran out the exit, I saw a castle, and the top of helmets. I didn't wonder why there was a castle in the 21st century, I just needed help.

"HELP!!! PLEASE!!! ANYONE PLEASE HELP!!!!" I called out, hearing the creatures get closer each second. As I waited, I saw one of the helmets move, and saw what appeared to be a horse's face. Pretty soon, I heard him yell out, "Monster!!! Monster!!! Gaurds!!! Get that vile beast!!!"

I was saved! Or I thought I was until horses with horse armor and spears attached to the armor charged at me. I froze in fear. They surrounded me with spears at my head. I begged for their help, explaining I wasn't a monster! But they didn't listen as I was lifted by a magical blue field and thrown into a carriage with iron bars as a window on the door. I noticed one was a unicorn. As the carriage moved, I begged for mercy. I didn't know what I have done! As I was pulled away, I saw brown, wooden wolves run out of the forest, and the horses fought back. I was scared, and had no idea what I should do. So I just sat down in the middle of my cage, awaiting my fate, crying, pleading for help to come. All I wanted was to remember everything again, forget this, and go home.

Hours later I woke up, still in the wagon, as two horses, unicorns I mean, opened the door and put my hands behind my back, putting cuffs on them with their magic. I was guided into a castle, and taken down a large hallway. After several minutes, I was inside a large room, with horses in body armor beside the doors and two beside two thrones with, alicorns?! Two living, breathing alicorns! I couldn't believe my eyes! I wasn't as shocked by the unicorns, since I noticed unusual things in the forest, but alicorns?! One alicorn was large and white. Its mane and tail were very, colorful and waved in the air. Its mane and tail were made up of green, blue, and pink colors. The other one was navy blue with black splotches. It seemed almost half the size of the other. Its mane and tail also waved in the air and was blue, with white dots appearing randomly, almost like stars.

"Princesses, we found this creature wandering outside the castle, and we heard somepony calling for help. We think it might be dangerous so we took it to you." One of the horses referred to me as "IT"!!! And he called me a creature!!! Well, it would make sense actually. He probably never saw a human before. Also, he called the alicorns princesses, meaning their girls. At least I know their gender.

"What are you?" The white alicorn asked.

I was nervous, scared actually. I stammered a bit before she asked me again. "What are you?" This time, it was more of a demand than a question.

"R-Roe. I-I-I'm a h-human." I was sweating badly now.

The navy blue alicorn spoke this time. "Are you ok? Your, um, leg lookes badly injured." She pointed at my ankle. My adrenaline was gone now. I looked at it and fear struck my face. My ankle was just hanging limp, and I did the first thing I thought of. I screamed. I fell to the floor, my ankle hurting intensely. Quickly, my ankle stopped hurting. I looked at it, and then back at them. My ankle wasn't hurting anymore. It was fixed.

"What did you...." I stopped to look at my ankle again.

"I fixed it. Seems all that fear gave you an adrenaline rush, untill I asked you about it." The navy blue alicorn chuckled. "I am Princess Luna, princess of the night."

The white alicorn greeted herself to. "I am Princess Celestia, princess of the sun, and lead princess of Equestria."

Equestria! Its real! I couldn't belive it!

Celestia asked me my name again. "What is your name?"

Knowing that they were friendly, I told them. "Roe. Thats all I can remember."

The white alicorn had a confused look on her face. "What do you mean thats all you can remember?"

I explained everything. What I was, where I came from, stuff I remembered. I also told them I had some amnesia. After I explained what happened to me, the two princesses told me all their is needed to know about Equestria. They said something about "The Elements Of Harmony", and explained their owners. After explaining everything, I realized I wasn't cuffed up anymore! I stretched and rolled my wrists.

Princess Celestia and Princess Luna both smiled. Celestia spoke with a smile on her face. "I'll have the elements come over here, and have them get you settled in Ponyville, since you don't have a place to live here in Equestria, and I know Ponyville will be the best place for you to live. I'll have some construction ponies build you a house there. This might help later if you want to buy something." She handed me a small pouch that was tied up. I looked inside, and couldn't believe my eyes! Pure gold coins! I was shocked!

"I can't believe this! Do you know how far just one of these can get you where I come from?" I yelled with excitement, but it was quickly ruined.

"One bit won't get you very far here." Luna chuckled again.

I wasn't happy, but thought that if I saved up enough coins, I could be kind of rich!

I saw her write a letter, and watched it disappear with a quick "poof"! Minutes later, the doors opened up as six ponies, two unicorns, two pegasi, and two earth ponies, rushed inside. Once they all saw me, almost all of them stared at me in both shock and confusion. The only one that didn't was a pink, super ecstatic pony who bounced my way with a huge grin on her face.

Once she reached me, she spoke super fast with an extremely high voice. "OHMYGOSHWHATAREYOUAREYOUABEASTAREYOUNICEDOYOULIKECAKEILOVECAKEINFACTIWORKFORTWOPONIESWHOLASTNAMESARECAKECANYOUTALKWHAmmphmmmphmphmmm!!!!!" Tape had levitated over her mouh and shut her up.

The lavender unicorn apologized, "Sorry about that. That's Pinkie Pie. I'm Twilight Sparkle."

The others greeted themselves, Rarity, Rainbowdash, and Applejack. But that was only five. "Wait, didn't you say there were six?" I asked Celestia.

The ponies all moved to the side to reveal a soft yellow pegasis with a pink mane trying to hide. She took a small look at me, screamed, and ran behind everyone else.

"Don't y'worry 'bout her, she's jus t'bit shy that's all." The orange pony said in a farmer kind of accent. "That's Fluttershy," she pointed over at the hiding pegasus.

Hero

I walked down the hallway of the castle in Canterlot with Fang by my side. As I walked up to the doors, two unicorn gaurds opened the doors.

We walked down a long path along a red rug towards Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, And Princess Cadence. Ponies of all types cheered for me and Fang as we continued walking. A chorus of trumpets played along the way.

As we reached the end of the path, I saw the six elements. I looked over at Fluttershy, who blushed a bit and hid in her mane. I chuckled silently and looked back over at Celestia.

She spoke loud for everybody there to hear. "LADIES AND GENTLECOLTS!!! FOR SAVING EQUESTRIA FROM QUEEN CHRYSALIS ONCE AND FOR ALL, I SHALL AWARD ROE WITH ONLY THE HIGHEST OF REWARDS!!! ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND BITS!!!"

I turned around and saw a wagon pulling in a huge sack of gold bits!!! My jaw dropped down to the floor! It wasn't the money that made my jaw drop, It was the realization of what I was.

I wasn't just Roe, a human who somehow ended up in Equestria. I was Roe, the savior of Equestria.

I wasn't just Roe anymore. I. Was. A. Hero.
