Pinkie Pie hung the last ornament on her tall, perfectly green, Christmas tree. She took a few steps back, then smiled proudly.

"Perfect." she sighed, then yawned and peeked at the clock. "10:00?! Wow! That took longer than I'd expected! I better get to bed."

Pinkie hopped into bed and pulled up the covers. "I can't wait until Christmas!" she whispered to herself as she drifted off to sleep.
