You are the newest detective on the Ponyville police force. Today is your first day, and you’re itching to catch some bad guys. It’s always been your dream to be on the front page of the paper and have the headline read: “Hero Police Stallion Cracks Case!” or something along those lines.
Your boss, Patty Wagon calls you into his office. The office reeks of tobacco. Patty is sitting at his desk waiting for you.
“Listen up kid, I’ve heard good things about you, but I’m not going to put you on the big cases yet.”
Typical; the big wigs up top “hear great things about you” but don’t trust you with anything big.
“We’ve got reports of a robbery that occurred on Sugarcube corner. I trust you’re competent enough to handle this?”
You know you are, but can’t believe how he doesn’t trust your abilities. You might get higher cases if you go, but you really want to show him that’s too easy.

You decide it’s safer to go along with what he said. Getting any extra details Patty can provide you prepare to head out to Sugarcube corner.
According to Patty, the break in happened at around on o’clock this morning, and the robber left with around five-hundred bits and a decent amount of pastries. That doesn’t say much, but you figure that means you should keep an eye out for a wealthy pony with a few more cakes then usual.
Writing this down in your notebook you decide not to waste any more time and get moving.
