‘’Saturday morning the sun is shining and the birds chirping and excited for the day.
I’m Precious Platinum, age 3 and-a-half almost 4, by the way. Saturdays and Sundays are my favorite days because I don't have to go to Little & Filly & Colt school in the morning and come back home at lunch. But I prefer Saturdays to watch the Saturday morning cartoons. I can hear my mom coming to wake me I will play along’.
“Good Morning Honey Biscuit’, Mommy says, as she wraps her white hooves around me.
‘’Morning Mommy’’.
She then kissed my face. ‘’Sweet Celestia, your mane is a mess!” Mommy yelled.
‘’It’s not that bad,’’ I say as I squirm away from her preening me.
‘’Hush now, don’t you want to look fabulous in front of every pony?’’
‘’I guess but’’ …
Mommy interrupts and says ‘’Good I knew you want to. Come now let’s make you more presentable.”’
She picked me up and carried me in to the washroom. She then grabbed that goopy sticky stuff that makes my hair stick and stay in place and combed my mane. But then for some reason she then proceeded to powder my behind and then she put blush on my face. After that she pulled this stupid sailor suit out of the closet that Mommy made for me two months ago.
‘’Platinum darling could you wear this for me today?”
‘’Why?”
“’Because you haven't worn it yet and I want to see you in it.’’
So she put me in the stupid thing. I tried so hard not complain but I didn't because Mom says ‘gentlecolts” never whine or complain to their mothers about anything.
My cheeks turn red as I say, “I look silly”.
“No you don’t, you look very handsome and active. Let me take a photo of you.”
“Great, now many ponies can laugh at me instead of just one”. I think but I dare not say out loud.
*SNAP*
‘’I hope you smiled because I'm out of film. Oh well we can get more later, any way its time to eat.”
Mommy made my least favorite cereal, Bran Oat Bites and toast I put it on a tray and trot to our new television to watch some cartoons. My mom only wants me to watch the tv shows that teach you things. That is fine but there is so many amount of times you can watch a mare with some puppets teach you how to make paper snowflakes and pretend to be monkeys before you get bored. So I try be sneeky and watch somthing that doesnt teach that much. Just when I was about to watch my favorite cartoon, The Adolescent Genetically Altered Shinobi Racoons, the door opens so I quickly change the channel.’’
‘’Platinum sweetie I need to run some errands, so I want you come along with me to keep me company and to help with the coupons’’.
‘’Where do you need to go?’’ I ask in fear.
‘’Starlit’s Fabric Store and Sewing Supplies Shop!”
Now I don't mind shopping when toys, electronics, or even groceries. But Starlit’s Fabric Store and Sewing Supplies Shop are the most boring places in the world more boring than the doctor waiting room! Now I know why she gussied me all up because we will have to go to Canterlot and she wants to show me off to everypony so they can pinch my cheeks. So I ask May I please go to Twilight’s or Fluttershy’s house?’’
‘’No!,When I was a filly I went shopping with my mother all the time and I had fun. Besides we need more time to time together So grab your yellow coat, Its 48 degrees outside.’’
“Wait, why do I need to wear a coat? That sounds warm.”
“I don't want my son catching a cold,” Mommy says.
‘’Why do I have to wear the yellow one”?
She sighs and says, ‘’the yellow one goes with your outfit. Just get it please.”
I grabbed my coat and a book because thats the only thing my Mommy will let me bring. I get to the living room where I see Mommy holding a leash.
‘’Before we go I want you to wear this leash.’’
‘’But I'm not a doggy’.’
‘’I know that, Honey, but I don't want you wandering off. But just because you're wearing a leash doesn't mean you're not holding my hoof at all times’’.
‘’I know’’
‘’Good!” She sees my frown. “Don't worry, Sweet Pea, it will be fun. Come on now we don't want to miss our train to Canterlot.’’
She picks up the the leashes with her aura and holds on to my hoof real tight. We trot out the door. From the way I looked, and the things were were getting, I knew today was not going to be fun.
