Days Of The Sun Are Always Bright
Canterlot Castle, has always been the grandest part in all of Equestria, for as long as Celestia has been the kind and thoughtful ruler in the land. As the years went by, the white alicorn has been the same way for a thousand years, a bright eyed and young face, while the other ponies she knew, grew old, and died.
Some things though had never changed. Like the days at the School For Gifted Unicorns, always have bright and eager young students, like Twilight, are always learning something new about magic. Celestia, however, has a favorite among Twilight's friends.
A yellow Pegasus, with a kind and gentle nature, around everypony that she meets, once she get s over her shyness. But yet, she's not shy when she sees an animal in need of her help. She gladly takes in all of the animals into her lovely little cottage.
"She'll be perfect to take under my wing on how to help her overcome her shyness, like a princess", Celestia said as she gazed at Fluttershy through a magic mirror in the castle. "Guards, have my chariot ready." The guards did as the princess commanded She rode pass the castle, and over the forest.
She spotted the cottage in the distance, and the guards landed, in front of the stone pathway.. She went up the front door, and knocked. Fluttershy answered the door. And when she saw the princess, Fluttershy bowed gracefully.
"Fluttershy, I've come to help you do the one thing you've been trying to do ever since you were a filly", Princess Celestia said, as the Pegasus began to stand up. "What would that be Your Highness?" Fluttershy asked, very sheepishly.
"I've come to help you overcome your shyness, by teaching you how to spread kindness to all of Equestria as a princess." Fluttershy was shocked to hear the princess say such a thing, her, a princess, how can that be? "I'm only a Pegasus, and not a unicorn, Your Highness", Fluttershy said, after a moment of thinking things over.
"I know, but to me, everypony deserves how to become something special, that they never dream about, by never knowing what they're capable of, that's why I show them how to unlock their true potential", Princess Celestia answered back, her voice as gentle as the summer breeze.
Princess Celestia, and Fluttershy, climbed up the chariot, and the guards flew them up to the sky, back to Canterlot Castle. As the guards landed near the castle doorway, Princess Celestia, and Fluttershy, entered the castle's throne room, where the princess waits for her royal duties just about each and everyday. Princess Celestia, sat at her throne, and Fluttershy sat at a spot beside her.
"Now let's begin, shall we?" Princess Celestia said, as her horn began to glow. The magic of her horn, swirled around the room for a bit, and the two ponies began to disappear. Princess Celestia, and Fluttershy, saw that now, they were in the Everfree Forest.
"Why did you bring me here Your Highness? This place makes me so scared." Princess Celestia, can see the fear in Fluttershy's eyes, and threw a comforting wing around her, as she began to cry. "I know it's scary Fluttershy, but the first step in being a princess is to overcome your fears."
Fluttershy, wiped the tears from her eyes, and sucked up her courage, and went deeper, and deeper, into the forest. The more horrible noises she heard, the more she tried to ignore them. The noises stopped when she saw a a frightened baby bird, chirping loudly enough for her mother to hear, but her mother was trapped in a thorny bush. "Oh you poor thing, I'll help you and your mother", Fluttershy said as she flew to save the mother bird.
She carefully, and gently handled the mother bird in the bush, luckily, she only suffered a broken wing when the wind blew hard, making the baby bird fall of the nest, and the nest flew into bush, that's how the mother bird flew in to find her nest and the force of the landing had made her injure her wing.
Fluttershy, gently mended the mother bird's wing, and put the nest back up to tree. She also gently held the baby bird in her left fore hoof and flew her back up to the nest. "I can believe I did it, I got over my fear of the forest", Fluttershy said, in a loud cheer. "Now I feel like I can talk to everypony without being afraid." Fluttershy made her way out of the forest as the princess was waiting out for her.
"Well done Fluttershy, I knew you can do it." Princess Celestia, and Fluttershy, went back to the castle, and they both felt proud. As the princess turned to Fluttershy, she asked her, "Fluttershy how do you feel about the sun, the day it brings, and the moon, and the night, promising a new day?" Fluttershy, pondered this for a moment, thinking of the right thing to say to that question. In the end, she decided to answer it, in the most wonderful way she can think of.
"Well, the sun, and the day are the most wonderful things in the world, they bring joy, peace, harmony, and happiness, for all the ponies to enjoy the hope they bring. And as for the moon and the night, they bring calm and relaxation to hope that the next day will be as peaceful and wonderful as the night, in the most dreamlike state of mind."
"I couldn't have said it better myself, because you, Fluttershy, are like the sun, bright and hopeful, to bring ponies the most kindness you can give even when they feel like they don't deserve it." Fluttershy's eyes widened for a bit, as she began to wonder, "Is what she said true? I know it sounds amazing but I never thought about it that way." As the day began to end, Princess Celestia took Fluttershy back to her cottage.
"Fluttershy, never forget that no matter how cloudy the sky will be, there will always be some sunshine, in your heart." Fluttershy entered her cottage preparing for bed hopeful that the sun will be out for another day for her, and all her friends.
