Chapters Dragon Ball Harmony Part 1: Response to a Need
Equestria, a nation of a little known planet in the Southern Galaxy. A planet inhabited by an intelligent race of Equines. Pegusi, Unicorns, Earth-Ponies, and four Alicorns share the planet sparingly. One night, one of the four Alicorn Princesses of the planet was dreaming of a violent confrontation, a battle between an old foe and a great warrior. Golden, spikey hair, green eyes, and strength that surpasses Rainbow Power on a godlike scale. His adversary was an old foe, a deep grey unicorn, with a flowing black mane, wearing armor and a red kingly cloak, his horn was long, curved, almost the color of metal heated to the point of becoming yellow. The warrior's body was bloody and battered, his left arm, shattered and mangled, the foe looked untouched. "WELL," shouted the foe, "ANY LAST WORDS BEFORE YOU DIE, SAIYAN?!"
"ACTUALLY, SOMBRA," said the warrior, as he pulled his right hand inwards, almost like he was going to push something, "THERE IS ONE WORD THAT COMES TO MIND!!!" The foe was enveloped in a sphere of black magical energy, his horn sparking with purple lightning, the warrior was enveloped in a sphere of gold light and a small blue light appeared in his right hand, "KA.........ME....." shouted the warrior, the light in his hand growing brighter, the foe began screaming as he put more energy into his horn, the warrior shouted again, "HA.........ME........." Finally the foe had charged up enough energy to fire a beam of dark magic from his horn, "DIE YOU FOOLISH CHILD!!" shouted the foe, as he fire a black beam from his horn. The warrior shouted one last time as he fired a beam from the light in his hand, "HAAAAAAAAAA!!!" The beams collided and everything went white.
The princess awoke from her dream, still lying in a bedroom of crystal, the only thing that had changed in the Alicorn's room was the fact that she was sweating, "It's alright Twilight," she said to herself, "It was only a dream." She began to lie down to go back to sleep, Who is that boy, she thought, and what did Sombra want with him? She thought about this the whole night and got no sleep the entire night.
The next morning, she was still lying awake in her bed, was suprised by a baby dragon running towards her, "Twilight, Twilight!" he shouted, "What is it, Spike?" asked the Princess, "I have letters from Princess Celestia, Luna, and Cadence is coming down to talk to you right now!" Suddenly, a pink alicorn burst through the door of her bedroom, "Twilight, I had the wierdest dream--" Twilight just simply stared, "You had it to, huh?" she said, "Yup, the Warrior, Sombra, and that word, 'Kamehameha'." she began to think to her self,What is Kamehameha?

It was a night darker than most nights in Ponyville, a sleeping pony lay dreaming about her own death, she began sweating, she woke up with a fright, still in her bed in a cold sweat. She looked to her window still dark, very cold, she got out of her bed and moved towards her kitchen. Making her way down the hallway, she tried not to wake her roommate, who was still awake ( no surprise ). Suddenly, her roommate's door flew open, the white unicorn that was in the room started screaming, "TAVI, TAVI, TAVI, TAVI, TAVI!!!" she shouted, clearly excited out of her mind, "Vinyl, it's five in the morning, why are you still awake?" said Octavia, rubbing her eyes with her hooves, "Look at the sky!!" shouted Vinyl. "Why?" Vinyl simply shouted, "THERE'S NO TIME TO EXPLAIN!!!"
Octavia reluctantly followed her crazy friend to her bedroom window, what she saw was considered impossible. It looked as if the sky began to bulge at a certain point, the bulge began to look like the sky was going to burst, it was going to burst at any minuet, Octavia put both of her front hooves on Vinyl's head and pushed her down, Octavia ducked down herself. The bulge on the sky burst open, a beam of energy was coming down from it, only to stop inches above the ground and explode. Soon after, Octavia stood up, and noticed a small figure fall from the hole in the sky that was once a bulge, the figure was falling very fast, and hit the ground harder than a normal Equine of Equestria would, the sound of the figure hitting the ground was similar to that of a massive object hitting the ground.
"What was that?" said Octavia, "I don't know, let's check it out!" shouted Vinyl Scratch, "But, Vinyl-" before she could finish her sentence she was already out the door, "Ugh" said Octavia, Great, now I have to go get her! She found Vinyl among other ponies who were crowded around the area were the mysterious figure hit the ground. "Vinyl, I've been looking for you- What in the name of Celestia is that??!!"
The crowd lie motionless as they saw the being who lay unconscience in the crater before them, a small eleven year old boy with short black hair, wearing strange purple clothes and pointy shoes.

It was Gohan's first day back at school, or at least back from skipping classes all semester. Gohan had been skipping classes to meet with Piccolo. However, Gohan's mother, Chi-Chi found out about his "delinquent acts" and decided to ground him from everything until his schoolwork was done, but what Chi-chi didn't realize was that the last few months after the Tournament have been very hard on him, the battle with Cell, nearly eight months ago took his father away, and more recently, his fight with Bojack and his crew gave him an unhealthy lust for battle, the streak lasted for about 3 months, throughout those months, Gohan has been skipping classes to hang out with Piccolo, Krillin, Bulma, and Master Roshi.
Chi-chi walked in on Gohan putting on the clothes from his battle with Cell. Immediately after, she shouted at Gohan, only for Gohan to respond by shouting back, they began shouting at each other about delinquency and school and hanging out with Piccolo, suddenly Gohan said, "What would Dad say?" Chi-chi burst into tears and began crying, "I'm sorry, Mo-." a loud slap rang out through the forest around their house. Gohan was dumbfounded. Did mom just slap me? he thought. Chi-chi's face changed into the face of regret. "Gohan, I-, I'm sorry." Gohan charged through the solid mahogany door, smashing it to pieces on the way out. I'll never come back, Gohan thought, Never, never come back!
Piccolo, was standing on a large pillar of rock, his large ears picked up the sound of crying, and he sensed the energy of good friend moving towards him, Piccolo looked down to see the 11-year-old Saiyan that defeated Cell, sniffling like the the wimpy little boy he was when he was six. "Piccolo." said Gohan. "What is it Gohan, why are you crying?" said the Super Namek.
"I want to train with you for a while, if that's alright with you."
"Sure, Gohan, you're always welcome."

"Come on, Gohan!" shouted Piccolo, "I wanna see your power!" Gohan was very tired, the thought of his mother was slowing him down, "I'm sorry Mr. Piccolo." said Gohan, his eyes moving downward towards the ground. "Gohan," said Piccolo, "transform into the ascended Super Saiyan!" Gohan's eyes widened, "And I want you to fire the most powerful Kamehameha you've got!!"
"But, Piccolo," said Gohan, "I can only tap into my power through my emotions, I need to get mad, or sad, or SOMETHING!!"
"Gohan," shouted the Namekian warrior, "get mad, NOW!!" Gohan began to imagine his mother being killed by his old enemy, Cell. Nothing happened, just his hair turned gold then, nothing. "GOHAN, ASCEND!!" Gohan tried again, nothing. "GOHAN, REMEMBER YOUR FATHER'S WORDS!!" Suddenly, Gohan began to remember, he remembered his father's voice, "The power comes in response to a need, not a desire."
He began to mumble to himself, "The power comes in response to a need, not a desire!" he said it again and again, and again, and again. He began to see flashes of old enemies, Cell, Raditz, Nappa, Garlic Junior, and Frieza. Gohan snapped, his eyes filled with fury, his heart began pounding in his chest, and he started to scream. His muscles grew, his hair shot up into long golden spikes. Suddenly, Gohan was enveloped in a bright light, lightning came down and struck it 23 times. Finally, it burst open in a blinding flash of light, Piccolo shielded his eyes from the light.
The light had faded slightly, Piccolo removed his hands from his eyes. Standing where the golden light was just moments before, an eleven year old boy, with spiky golden hair and a small muscle bound body, surrounded by a gold, flame-like aura surging with electricity arching through it, his eyes turned from black to green. "Alright, Piccolo," said the ascended Super Saiyan, "you want me to fire the most powerful Kamehameha I've got, right?" Piccolo simply nodded. "Okay." Gohan put his hands together in the position to fire a Kamehameha, "KA.....ME......" a sphere of blue light appeared in his hands, "HA.......ME........." Gohan began to tense up, his heart started pumping more adrenaline through his veins, then he pushed his hands forward and screamed, "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!"

The Kamehameha was more powerful then Piccolo or Gohan expected, the bright blue energy blast rocketed upwards as Gohan aimed it away from the Earth to prevent accidentally destroying it. Piccolo noticed something odd,the blast didn't carry onward into space, but appeared to stop a few hundred feet from Gohan, as if it were hitting something. "GOHAN!!" shouted the Namekian, "STOP, YOU'VE HIT SOMETHING!!" Gohan paid no attention to the fearful Piccolo, and just kept going.
Suddenly, a strange hole ripped open where the blast was hitting, it was like a black hole, and it appeared to be absorbing the Kamehameha. "GOHAN, STOP OR IT WILL SWALLOW YOU TOO!!!" Gohan snapped out of his adrenaline enduced drive for battle and tried to pull away, but the pull of the hole's gravity was too strong. He was too weak, he used up all of his energy trying to fire the Kamehameha. He was being pulled towards the hole, "Piccolo, I can't get away!" Piccolo rushed towards Gohan, "GOHAN, HANG ON!!" he wasn't fast enough, the eleven year old Super Saiyan was already gone, sucked inside of the Black Hole that he had mistakenly created on his master's instruction.
"No," said Piccolo, "Gohan..." his eyes filled with tears, "NOOOO!!" he dropped to his knees and looked up to the heavens. "Goku, I failed." his tears streaming down his face, "Your son is dead, Goku, I'm sorry."
Gohan opened his eyes, he was flying through a tube of light of different colors, "Piccolo," Gohan said, "Piccolo," the colors shifted to the colors of the rainbow and became brighter. "PICCOLO!!!" there was a light at the end of tunnel, No, Gohan thought, I don't wanna go, it's not my time, I'm only 11!!! He started screaming, "DADDY, PICCOLO, HELP ME!!!!!"

Gohan dreamed in his coma, seeing flashes of old enemies, starting with Cell, crushing Android #16's head. Then it went it Frieza, as he blew up Krillin. Gohan immediately woke up in a cold sweat, his black hair, soaked with it. He rubbed his forehead, wiping away the sweat from his brow, he suddenly felt a sense of unfamiliarity, he gave his surroundings a good look. A house, a small house, very well decorated to. He looked to the wall closest to him, on it were pictures, pictures of ponies. Gohan tried to stand up, realizing he had just been lying on a rug in the living room, he wanted to get a better look at the photos on the wall. He looked at them, and noticed the ponies were different from the ones at home. These ponies were very small, and had large, forward-facing eyes. Another thing that he noticed was that they were very strange colors for Equines, despite that the colors of their fur were fine, one had a strangely colored mane, blue and electric blue, and styled in a strange way, almost human. Not to mention a small horn on her forehead.
Suddenly, Gohan heard a clopping sound sound behind him, it was growing closer. Gohan twisted around, thinking he was going to be attacked, he swung his fist to punch whoever was behind him, after assesing the situation he stopped his fist a mere centimeters from his supposed attacker's face. It was the white unicorn from the photo, her horn was glowing an electric blue, and a silver tray was floating before her, glowing the same electric blue. "Woah, stranger," said the white unicorn, "don't hit me, or your breakfast will fly everywhere." Gohan stood amazed, "Y-y-you can TALK!?" shouted the ecstatic eleven year old, "Yeah, of course I can talk," said the unicorn, "do ponies talk where you're from?" Gohan stuttered, "N-n-no?" The unicorn simply looked shocked and appalled, her jaw dropped to the floor, "How are you doing that?" he said, "What?"
"That how is that tray levitating like that?" the unicorn just looked confused, "Oh, this, it's just a trick, i'm sure your people can do the same thing, right?" Gohan simply shook his head, "In a way, but, I don't sense anything, not even the slightest wink of Ki."
"What's Ki, is that what you call magic?" Gohan stared, "Magic, there's no such thing as magic." There was suddenly a silver tray in his face, as well as a sensation of PAIN. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" shouted the Half-Saiyan teenager, the unicorn stormed out of the room, took the tray with her to.
"Oh, you shouldn't have done that." Gohan frantically looked around to find the source of the voice, he found a brown pony, wearing a bowtie.
