Discord mixes M&Ms with Skittles
Like the last story, Discord was sitting in his living room with Eris, who was reading a different article. Discord was mad, for Celestia took his animal crackers just for becoming a drag queen. Discord was over that phase, anyways. Now his six best friends were mad at him and he wanted a way to regain their friendship.
"Eris!" he shouted.
"I don't know, make a peace treaty for them or something. This is the fifth time you asked," Eris said calmly.
"Oh, I know!"
"Let me guess. A peace treaty and then pretend it's your idea?"
"No, silly sister," he said. "I'm going to give them a peace treaty!" Eris did a facepalm. Discord continued, "Yet I need something that still says Discord.. I could make a cake that spells out Discord, yet I already did that when I decided to make town hall an art museum. I need something chaotic."
"Look in the pantry; I just went shopping," Eris suggested.
"Nice idea, sister! I might just try that!"
"Wow," Eris said. "Actually using my idea and giving me credit? You must be maturing, Discord!" She added a sarcastic tone.
"Oh, shut up," he said as he walked to the pantry. He opened up the giant door and looked inside.
I need something sweet to satisfy them, especially Pinkie Pie. Yet, I need something unpredictable. Ah, yes, I can always do the never ending lolipop trick, but that one is boring. Hmm, Eris seemed to buy skittles. I always thought those fruity things tasted good with any other sweet. Yet, there is one thing I haven't tried. He turned his head to the chocolate section. He saw a full package of M&Ms. He grinned.
"Perfect!"
Twilight Sparkle sat in her castle, reading a new book she got. It was about the theory of another land filled with strange and unfamiliar ponies. Ones that were so big that a human from the mirror dimension could sit on them and ride them. None of these ponies had wings or horns or magic, and it frightened Twilight. She was just going to read on the structure of a 'horse' when she heard a knock at the door. She trotted up to it and opened it slowly. It revealed Discord with a bowl of candy.
"Hello, Princess," he said sadly. "I'm sorry that I am interrupting your intense research session. It's just that I wanted to give you a peace treaty to regain our friendship."
Twilight blinked. "We never weren't friends-" she caught herself and took the bowl. Discord then snapped his fingers and disappeared. Twilight looked down at the fruity and colorful array of candy and took a hoof full. She stuffed into her mouth to taste a lot of artificial fruit. Yet when she bit down, a wave a chocolate hit her tongue. She coughed and tried to swallow it quickly.
"DISCORD!" she shouted with anger as she heard a male laugh in the distance.
Applejack bucked another tree. The apples fell down with a THUMP. She turned to see a bowl similar to Twilight's resting at her hooves. She also saw Discord standing there, just not in his tacky drag queen dress or makeup.
"I'm sorry for losing our dear friendship and I want to regain it with this," he said quickly.
"What in tarnation?" she asked as she ate a couple of the candies. She immediately spit it out with disgust. "What in tarnation?" Discord started to laugh as he went away, leaving the bowl to the farm pony.
Rarity was making a dress. Oh, I'm so predictable aren't I? Twilight was reading, Applejack was working, and Rarity is making a dress? What's next, Rainbow Dash napping? Oh, dear, I ruined the surprise. Discord approach Rarity with the bowl and the unicorn sighed.
"I knew it was going to come to this," she said. "Now your going to force feed me something disgusting to try to be nice." Discord shook his head quickly. Rarity rolled her eyes as she took a couple with her magic and ate them gently. She scrunched her face in disgust and swallowed quickly.
"I should have guessed," she said while Discord was laughing his head off.
If you read the last paragraph, you would assume that Rainbow Dash was napping. HAH! I tricked you! She's dosing, not napping! Anyways, Discord did not want to disrupt the pegasus, so he left the bowl on her stomach. Dash's eyes flared opened as she saw him.
"What do you want, Discord?" she groaned. Discord pointed to the bowl.
"To regain our friendship, duh!" he said with a sassy tone. Dash rolled her eyes and popped a few of the candies in her mouth. After a few moments, she looked furious.
"Is this some kind of a cruel joke to you?" she shouted as she through the bowl at the laughing creature.
Discord stopped laughing and put a serious tone to his voice. "Yes."
Fluttershy was humming a tune while watering her garden.
"Nice singing." Fluttershy squeaked as she turned to see Discord standing there with the bowl.
"Oh, Discord! You startled me!"
Discord looked down in shame. "I'm sorry, dear Fluttershy."
Fluttershy shook her head. "It's fine, really! I get scared easily, that's all!" She looked at the bowl. "You want me to have some?" she asked. Discord nodded and slowly gave the bowl to Fluttershy.
"Actually, no," he said. "I don't want to trick you!" He realized he was too late when Fluttershy ate some of the candy. Her eyes started to water as she swallowed.
"It's...... interesting, Discord, but I'm glad you tried to make something!" she said shakily. Discord had his face of shame as he went away. Fluttershy wasn't made at him at all. In fact, she was proud that he tried to make a peace offering without actually blowing up a town or something.
Lastly, it was Pinkie Pie's turn. As soon as she opened the door to reveal Discord, she smiled.
"Oh, Discord! You didn't have to give me candy!" she squealed. She dove her face and managed to eat the entire thing in one bite. Discord waiting for a response.
That negative response never came. "That. Was. DELICIOUS!" Pinkie said with not a hint of lying to her voice. "I should of thought of Skittles and M&Ms! You should make more!" Discord looked in confusion as the party pony bounced away.
Back at home, Discord walked in the doorway.
"How'd it go?" Eris asked.
"Eh, some mixed responses near the end, but otherwise successful!" he said.
"That's truly chaotic," Eris said. "We need to send these to the princesses."
