Applejack approached the graveyard again, pushing open the metal gate and entering. She closed the gate behind her.

Applejack looked around, intent on finding that single gravestone.

There it was, at the very back.

Walking through the middle isle, Applejack arrived.

She ran her hoof over the words on the stone and read them for the twentieth time.

She came into my heart one day,
so beautiful and smart,
a dear and sweet companion,
I loved her from the start.

And though I knew the time would come
when we would have to part,
she'll never be forgotten.

She left paw prints on my heart.
