All that Shimmers is not gold

As Sunsetshimmer laid in her warm bed she listened to the wind roaring out her window, the sqeaking of a hanging bird feeder swaying back and forth. The moon was almost in it's complete newing, she couldn't help but to think and think and not being able to make up her mind.

    The moon already went through 3 complete cycles which means it's been 3 months and now it's going on it's forth soon.

"If I go I mean, Twilight will obviously be there hehe.." her eyes were wide open staring into the obis, "Will the princess except my visit?

What if I can't make good friends over there? I barely know anything about friendship here?" she gave a deep sigh "Well maybe if I get some sleep it will help." she slowly closed her eyes when suddenly Pinkie pie appeared in the front the open door.

    "What you doing?" The random teen smiled and blinked, Pinkie and her family had agreed to let Sunset live at her house since her reformation.

    "Oh, just thinking."

    "Thinking about visiting Equestria?"

    Sunset gave her a blank stare, "How did you know that?"

    "Just a hunch. When do you plan on going? Can I come???"

    "I would love for you to come but, I have to do this myself Pinkie."

    "No worries, I understand." she tried to force a smile.

    "Thanks, you don't know what it means to have an understanding friend." she put her hand on the party planner's shoulder.

"It's getting late we should go to bed."

It was another day of school like always, as the gang hung out at the school's statue where the portal to Equestria would open tomorrow.

     "So as all hope was lost I, Rainbowdash, swooped in and saved the day and I scored 3 out of 5!"

     "You mean the team scored 3 out of 5?" Applejack pointed out.

     "Oh yeah right." She blushed. Suddenly all eyes drifted toward Sunsetshimmer staring where the portal would be, just standing there.

     "What's on your mind sugar cube?"

     "She plans to visit Equestria!" Pinkie blurted out in excitement,

people passing bye was startled at the random shouting and continued on their way.

    "Well lan sakes, that's a great idea. You should do it!"

    Sunset then put a finger on her chin almost as if she was thinking deeper, "Yeah well.. What would I tell Principle Celestia?"

    "Don't worry about what they'll have to say about that we'll take care of it, just go on doin' what you plan on doin' and I'm sure Twilight would love for you to visit." Applejack put a hand on her newer friend.

     "Thanks guys. You see, the last time I was there it I didn't leave on the happiest of terms."

     "So why not go and fix those broken amends?" Rainbowdash was kicking a soccer ball with her knee.

     "Thats what I want to do but, what if they don't go so right? what if she doesn't except me?"

     "Who?" Fluttershy was holding her kitten she smuggled to school often.

     "Princess Celestia."

     "Oh, right." She began to stroke her kittens back, "it's weird to think that there's a version of everybody in our world and theirs."

     "Yes, I wonder if I'm just as fabulous in their world." Rarity swifted her hair and stood in a pose, "I would give almost anything to see what they wear."

     "I'm sorry guys but you can't come, I need to do this alone and who knows what could happen if all of you go." All of the friends looked down in dissapointment except Applejack.

     "Sunset is right guys besides, we have responsibilities here, we'll take care of things here while she's gone. By the way, when does the portal open?"

     "It opens tomorrow, well, tonight actually. At midnight naturally, unless we have Twilight open it.."

     "Thats perfect! It gives us a chance to say our goodbyes so you don't randomly leave without us knowin' n' all."

     "Thanks guys you are such great friends!" Sunset set off a group hug.

     Pinkie pointed in the air suddenly "THIS CALLS FOR A PARTY!"

"Sunset! there is still cake left! wants some?" The party planner had a small plate of cake in her hands, "I would just eat it all myself but, I would get this horrible tummy ache besides, nothing is better than sharing with my friends!"

     "No thanks Pinkie I had enough."

    "Okie dokie artachoky, I just save it for breakfast tomorrow!" Pinkie had planned a quick going away party for Sunset, it was over now and they had a ton of cake to spare.

   Sunset had her journal opened before her, she planned to write to Twilight (she already knew her friend in Equestria owned the journal now), warning her early that she plans to go tonight. She had done this several times before but could never jot the message down but, now with her friends encouraging her, she had the mental strength to do it.

Dear Twilight Sparkle,

I plan wish to visit your world Equestria again..

I hope to see you soon, could you let would it be possible if you could let Princess Celestia know of my visit I mean, after all

I didn't quit leave on the right foot hoof.. I hope you understand.

    She inhaled a deep breath and released in relief that she finally got this over, now to actually do it is another ideal.

"What should I bring? Do I need to bring anything?" she thought to herself, "well I guess I could bring a notebook and pen.. or maybe not, they'll have that there already. Hmm..  Well.. maybe I don't need to bring anything.."

    Finally the clock struck midnight and the moon was full of it's silver sparkling light that was now soon to drip away within the next month.

The whole gang was in front of the school and hugs were exchanged, "Here, I brought this so you won't forget us!" Pinkie Pie gave Sunset a picture that contained a portrait of all of them, together.

    She ran her hand down the cool smooth metallic yellow frame, "I don't how I could ever thank you and I won't forget you guys ever."

she put her hands on her room mate's shoulders and the pink one smiled in brilliance.

   "You don't need to thank us Sunset, you'r our friend and friends look out for each other and help one another." Apple Jack said in her strong western accent.

    Everybody was waving and saying goodbye as she was about to enter Equestria once more, "Okay, here goes." she slowly put one leg in and then proceeded through. Things twisted and turned until she finally walked through the other side, she was standing on her hind legs and fell on her front ones, It had been so long since she was pony. She looked up to see Princess Twilight Sparkle standing there with a smile stretched ear to ear and other ponies that looked familiar too.
