//-------------------------------------------------------// Ponyfall: Octavia and Vinyl Scratch -by SonOfNothing93- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// A nasty hangover //-------------------------------------------------------// A nasty hangover Vinyl Scratch and Octavia slowly walked down the castle corridors, quietly discussing their plans for the day. “We could go back to that…” her voice trailed off as she stopped walking. “What is it?” Octavia questioned. Vinyl simply pointed out the window with a hoof before trotting over and leaning on it. Octavia followed close behind her friend. “The clouds… they’re…” “Pink?” Vinyl chimed in. “That doesn’t look like rain either. What in the hay is going on around here?” “I don’t have the slightest idea… Should we tell the princess?” “Uh duh! Come on.” The two musicians started galloping towards the door that would lead them to the throne room and hopefully their Princess. But before they could reach the door, a blinding light filled the room. The two ponies made an attempt to cover their eyes and grab each other for comfort. * * * * Aiden watched the sky with interest as he walked the river path, staring at the thunderclouds as they emptied themselves on the ground below. There was nothing of particularly interesting about them, but it was better than the broken path before him. He looked back down at the path as a raindrop fell in his eye breaking his concentration. “Damn it.” He muttered as he wiped his face. Thunder boomed behind him. Looking back at the sky he saw lightning flash and something else. It was weird. He swore for a brief second the clouds had turned pink. He shook his head and stared for a minute. Seeing nothing he shook it off, and continued walking. The rain started coming down harder, no longer bouncing off his trench coat, but instead soaking through it. The wind had begun to pick up too. Brushing his long brown hair behind his ear Aiden decided it was time to go. He decided to cut across the grass to make the trip to his car shorter. To keep himself entertained, he started singing to himself, keeping rhythm with each step and patting his legs with his hands. Not paying attention to where he was going he stepped in a puddle. “SON OF A!” he sighed “great just fucking great.” He looked at his pant leg assessing the damage. Nothing too bad. He turned to the puddle, glaring at it. 'Bastard...' He continued to stare at it, all the while silently cussing at it before he realized something. There was something different about it. It was muddy but somehow it wasn’t. ‘The hell? Smells like chocolate…’ he thought to himself ‘Pink clouds, chocolate mud puddles, dear god, discords on the loose.’ Smiling at the thought ‘that would be the day. Teach Celestica a lesson.’ Looking forward, he continued on his way, trying hard to ignore the wet sloshing coming from his shoe with every step. He suddenly stopped and stared, pulling out his phone and starting the camera he prayed. “God? Please if this is real I take back everything I’ve ever said about you, deal?” Surprisingly there was silence. Aiden took that as a yes. He started feverishly taking pictures of the best thing he could have hoped for. Two beautiful women passed out in the grass in nothing but their birthday suits. Well the blue haired one had sunglasses on but who cares? After he had gotten what he felt was enough pictures, his instinct kicked in. He didn’t have much medical past basic first aid but they seemed fine. Both were breathing and no serious scratches. He reasoned they were probably passed out drunk. This area was a popular spot for couples to spend the night, but it was a little off for them to still be here this late. Unusual but not impossible. He stood up, and frowned. What should he do? He could leave them here and they could get sick or worse, or he could take them to his car and keep them warm. The down side is when they wake up they may freak and call the police… OR they could wake up and be so grateful that he had helped them that they reward him. Deciding it was worth the risk took less than a second once the latter of the possibilities entered his head. Besides how would he feel if something happened to them while they were out cold? Carefully he picked the brown haired one up and laid her over his shoulder holding her at the back of the knee. She was a lot heaver than he expected but not enough to be a problem. He looked down at “Blue”. The car wasn’t that far, he could run his current burden to his crossover wrap her up and put her in a blanket, and return for her. Getting them to the car was a lot easier than getting them in it. He had some experience getting sleeping children into and out of vehicles without disturbing them, but this was much different. These were 20-something year old women. Their size and weight really threw him a curve ball. Finally he had them in the back seat, each wrapped in their own blanket and buckled in. the roads were going to be absolute crap with this rain and the last thing he needed was to try and explain why he had to naked women passed out in his car to police. Getting in the driver’s seat, he started the car, jumping when Eurobeat Brony came blasting from the speakers. He turned it down as fast as he could and looked back at his passengers making sure they weren’t waking up just yet. Other than shifting a little, they were both passed out. * * * * It had taken some work but he had finally done it. He managed to get both women out of his car and up the stairs into his apartment without any real trouble. He had laid them on the bed and dug out some clothes for them to wear when they finally came too. ‘Yeah’, Aiden thought, ‘this isn’t creepy at ALL. I just kidnapped to naked chicks from the park. The cops are going to have a freaking’ field day.’ He was in the kitchen filling cups of water to go with the Alka Seltzer. They were probably going to have wicked hangovers when they woke up, so it’s best to be prepared. After placing it on the night stand next to them he went back into the kitchen, opened the fridge and reached for a beer. Then, realizing it was probably the last thing they would want to see he grabbed a pop instead, and went back into his room. He took a swig from the open can and sat near the top of the bed, next to the one with brown hair. Looking at her and her friend, he decided it was time to at least rouse one of them. Gently, he placed a hand on her shoulder and nudged her. “Hello? Come on, wake up. I know it hurts like nobody’s business but I’ve got meds for ya.” Nothing. He moved onto her blue haired friend and tried the same thing, with the same result. Sighing he pulled up a chair and sat at the foot of the bed, starring at his beverage like if he did so long enough the secrets of the universe would be reveled. Just when he was sure they would be reveled, he heard a noise. One of his guests was finally waking up!
