Chapters Twilight Sparkle was on the balcony of the library, looking at the stars through her telescope. "Such a beautiful night." She said to herself. She moved her telescope and was soon staring at Luna face. She jumped back as she screamed.
"Luna, don't do that. You startled me." She said as she struggled to recover.
"Sorry my dear, you just looked so lovely looking through your telescope." Luna said as she rested her head on the telescope.
"So, what are we doing tonight?" Twilight asked as she approached the princess.
"I was thinking a lovely midnight picnic under the stars, away from it all." Luna said.
"That sounds great. Want to come help me pack the basket?" Twilight asked.
Luna nodded her head as she followed the purple mare inside.
Twilight pulled out ingredients from her fridge. She set them at the table. Luna sat down at the table and grabbed a slice of bread. She started to spread honey on the slice. Twilight grabbed a thermos and started to fill it with warm tea.
"So how was the meeting today?" Twilight asked as she tightly screwed the thermos closed.
Luna sighed, "Exhausting. I am tired of sitting in meetings that have nothing to do with me or my sister. I mean I understand we all have to have a say in business proposals. As long as none of them affect my night I can care less about what they are proposing."
"Well it is your duty as a princess. I'm just glad we are able to spend this time together. Are you sure I'm not a burden?" Twilight asked.
Luna looked over at Twilight as she added dandelions to the slice. "Of course not my love. I actually wish we could spend more time together. You haven't told anypony yet, have you?"
Twilight shook her head, "I can't, I don't know how they will take it. My friends are always wondering why I turn down every stallion that asks me out, I just tell them I'm not ready to date."
"That doesn't seem normal for a full grown mare sweetheart...wait doesn't Ms. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy love one another?" Luna asked as she finished the sandwich and wrapped it up. She grabbed some more bread slices and started to make another.
"Yes, but when they revealed their love they were judged. Not to their faces but behind their backs." Twilight said as she looked down at the table.
Luna got up and made her way to Twilight. She wrapped a hoof about her, "Don't worry my love; We will keep this love a secret until the world is a little more tolerant."
Twilight nodded as she turned her head and gave Luna a gentle kiss on the cheek. Luna blushed when Twilight kissed her. Twilight smiled as she caught Luna's blush.
"Oh look the fearless Princess of the Night is looking a little red." Twilight teased.
Luna frowned as she turned her head. She kissed Twilight square on the lips. Twilight then sported her own shade of red.
"What was that you said my dear?" Luna asked.
Twilight looked down at the table still blushing. "I think we need to finish making the picnic."
Luna was flying with Twilight on her back, looking for a good place to have their picnic. Twilight was holding the picnic basket.
"How about there?" Luna asked as she pointed to a nice high open hill; not a tree in sight. Twilight nodded her head and they landed. Luna gently set Twilight down.
Twilight opened the basket and laid the blanket down. Luna assisted by setting up the flowers and food. Twilight pulled out the thermos and s pillow.
"You did a great job tonight Luna. The stars are as beautiful as ever." Twilight said.
"I had some inspiration from the most beautiful mare in Equestria." Luna said as she flashed Twilight a smirk.
Twilight blushed as she bit into her sandwich. "Nice touch adding the honey Luna."
"Thank you, I thought you might like it." Luna said taking a sip of her tea.
Twilight looked a little down.
"What's wrong dear?" Luna asked as she picked up her sandwich.
"It just saddens me to know that we might never be accepted for loving one another." Twilight frowned.
Luna scooted closer to Twilight. She placed a hoof on top of her head and petted her mane. "Twilight, I have to be frank with you. One day I'm going to marry you, and when that day comes I don't care if they accept us or not. We are getting married."
Luna moved her muzzle closer to Twilight's ear, "Then you are going to bear my foal." Luna then nibbled on Twilight's ear.
Twilight blushed a deep red, "Luna we can't have children, we are both mares." She said as she closed her eyes and enjoyed Luna nibbling on her ear.
Luna whispered into her ear, "There are ways my dear."
That made Twilight blush even more, but she ended up smiling.
For the rest of the night the two joked around and talked about their day as they ate. Once they finished eating they both laid down on the pillow and gazed at the stars. Luna was explaining how she created each star herself. She also explains how much energy she has to use to raise the moon. Twilight told her of the new spells she has been practicing.
Twilight cuddled into Luna, resting her head on Luna's chest. "If this is a dream, I don't ever want to wake."
"I can promise you my dear, this is no dream. The love you and I share is real. Nothing can ever come between that." Luna said as she wrapped her hoof around Twilight holding her closer.
Twilight yawned as she slowly drifted off to sleep. Luna giggled as she hear heard Twilight snoring softly.
"Don't worry my sweet Twilight Sparkle, as long as I am around you will never be judged or ridiculed. You are mine as I am yours." Luna whispered.
She made sure that Twilight heard that in her dream. This caused Twilight to tighten her hold on Luna and smile in her sleep. Luna smiled as she laid her head on Twilight's and slowly started to fall asleep.
The two mares were soon fast asleep on their stargazing hill, away from stress, away from work, and away from everypony who could ever judge them for their love.
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. Chapter 3: Building Up the Courage
Spike let Twilight finish and he just shrugged his shoulders, “So what?”
Twilight gave him a raised eyebrow, “You don’t care that I am in love with a mare?”
Spike shrugged his shoulders again, “It doesn't matter who you love Twilight, it’s not going to change who you are or what you do. You just happen to love a mare, I don’t see anything wrong with that. I just want you to be happy.”
Twilight smiled as she hugged Spike tight, “You know, you really are the best Spike.”
Luna was pacing in her room. “How do I go about doing this Celestia?”
“Well first I would run it byTwilight, and then maybe you two can announce it at the gala.” Celestia said as she stood up.
Luna smiled and nodded her head, “Yeah the gala...I have to tell Twilight.”
Luna picked up the basket and headed for the balcony. She climbed on the railing and turned her head to look back at her sister.
“Cover my absence?”
“Of course. Now go,” Celestia said as she shooed Luna away with her hoof.
Twilight made Spike some blueberry muffins for breakfast. Spike was sitting at the table munching on them as Twilight poured him a cup of milk.
“So does anyone else know?” Spike asked.
Twilight handed him the milk, “Not yet, Luna and I are waiting for the right time.”
“Why?” Spike asked before taking a sip of his milk.
Twilight sighed, “You remember when Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash announced they were together? Remember the looks they got from some of our Ponyville friends?”
Spike nodded, “Now that you mention it, I do. They give them a look like they are zombie ponies or something.”
Twilight nodded, “That is exactly why Luna and I want to wait. It’s not so much a precaution for me but for her. I mean she is a princess. If the delegates found out they might judge her, or even try to take her chair and power.”
Spike scoffed, “They can’t do that Twilight. You said it yourself, she’s a princess. I bet they wouldn’t dare cross her.”
Twilight sighed, “I don’t know Spike, I just don’t want Lulu getting hurt.”
Spike laughed and spat up the muffin he started munching on, “Lulu! HAHAHA!”
“Spike, don’t make a mess; it’s too early.” Twilight frowned as she went to grab a wash rag.
She wiped up some of the mess and checked the clock hanging on the wall.
“I better go get the mail. Spike, finish cleaning your mess please.” Twilight said as she grabbed a fresh muffin.
She made her way to the front door, dodging books that were sprawled out all over the ground. She finally made it to the door and opened it to see Derpy Hooves pulling her mail in her mailbox.
“Good morning Ms. Twilight. Something sure smells delicious.” Derpy said as she closed her mailbox and slung her bag over her shoulder.
“I made fresh blueberry muffins. I figured you might want one.” Twilight said as she handed Derpy the muffin.
“Thanks Twilight, I love muffins.” Derpy said as she took a bite. “Wow, this is delicious.”
“Glad you like it.” Twilight smiled.
“Like it? I love it. Well I better get going, this mail isn’t going to deliver itself. Thanks again Twilight,” Derpy said as she flew off.
Twilight opened her mailbox and collected the envelopes.
“TWILIGHT!”
Twilight looked around to see who called her. When she saw nopony she turned her attention back to her mail.
“TWILIGHT!”
Twilight looked up and this time she saw Luna approaching her at top speeds speed . Twilight waved her hoof, but Luna had no intention of slowing down. Twilight braced herself but by then it was too late. Luna pinned her on the ground and kissed Twilight hard. Twilight blushed as her pupils shrunk. She was soon kissing Luna back.
Twilight was the first to break this kiss, “Luna, sompony might see us.”
“I don’t care,” Then she smashed her lips back onto Twilights.
After a few minutes Luna broke the kiss. Twilight was out of breath like she just ran the Running of the Leaves at top speed.
“What was that all about?” Twilight panted.
“Celestia knows and...we better get inside.” Luna said as she got of of Twilight and helped her up.
Luna helped Twilight collect her mail from the floor and they both went inside. Twilight set the mail on the table as Luna finished her previous thought.
“Celestia knows about us and she approves.” Luna said.
Twilight beamed, “Really, that is great news. Spike found out, and he approves too.”
Luna smiled, “You haven’t told any other ponies yet, right?”
Twilight shook her head, “The only reason Spike found out was because he saw you dropping me off this morning.”
“Same for me, Celestia was in my room...oh yeah, I brought your basket back.” Luna said as she looked around, “I may have dropped it outside.”
“No worries, I got it.” Spike said as he ran from the kitchen with muffin crumbs all over his mouth. He opened the door and ran outside.
“Celestia also told me that we should announce it.” Luna said with confidence.
“She did? But Luna, what if…” Twilight sighed.
Luna used her magic to pull Twilight close to her. She wrapped her arms around her marefriend.
“Don’t worry about the what ifsmy dear. We are going to face some judgmental ponies, but we can do this together.” Luna said as she gently kissed Twilight’s cheek.
Twilight smiled as she hugged Luna back, resting her head on Luna’s shoulder.
“Besides, I’m tired of all these so-called “stallions” flirting with my love. It’s time to finally put them in their place.” Luna said.
Twilight chuckled as she tightened her hold on Luna.
Spike was sitting in the doorway with the picnic basket in his hand. He had a wide smile plastered on his face.
“I’m happy for you Twi.” He whispered.
Chapter 4: Keeping the Girls in the Loop
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. Chapter 5: Night of the Gala pt.1
Twilight coughed as Rarity attacked her mane with loads of manespray.
“Rarity is this really cough necessary?” Twilight asked.
“Of course Twilight, you have to look beautiful. After all you have to look your best for your Marefriend.” Rarity said teasing Twilight by putting emphasis on marefriend.
Twilight blushed as she shoved Rarity playfully, “Cut it out; When are the girls getting here?”
“Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are out enjoying themselves before the gala. Pinkie is on her way. Apple Jack is finishing her chores.” Rarity says as she grabs a brush and starts to style Twilight’s mane.
Soon there was a knock on the door. Rarity yelled, “Come In!”
Pinkie Pie opened the door, “Hey girls, Twilight you look beautiful.”
Twilight smiled, “Thanks Pinkie, but I’m not finished yet...OW!” Twilight whined as she wiped a tear that started to fall.
“Sorry dear that was a big knot.” Rarity apologized as she continued to brush Twilight’s mane.
Pinkie bounces around, “Me Next! Me Next!”
Rarity laughed, “Okay Pinkie, let me just finish Twilight’s mane.”
Rarity had parted Twilight’s mane. The top half she braided and left the bottom half alone. She did a twist braid, using Twilight’s highlight to her advantage. Once she was finished she turned Twilight around so she could look at herself in their mirror. Rarity used a smaller mirror to show Twilight the back of her mane.
“Wow Rarity, my mane looks amazing.” Twilight said as she turned her head side to side checking out her mane.
“Well, my mane doesn't beautify itself.” Rarity says as she pats her mane.
Twilight hops out of the chair and Pinkie immediately hops onto the chair.
“My Turn!” Pinkie yelled.
Luna was adjusting her dress as somepony knocked on her door.
“Come In!” Luna yelled as she moved to her vanity and starts brushing her mane out.
Celestia entered her room, “How are you feeling?”
Luna sighed as she set the brush down looking at herself in the mirror. “I’m nervous, I don’t know how Twilight will react. I never told her how we were going to reveal our love to everypony, so it’s going to be a surprise for her as well.”
Celestia smiled, “I brought you a box to put the ring in.”
Luna turned around and Celestia handed Luna a beautiful box. It was a dark purple with golden clasp and outline. Luna smiled as she placed the ring inside of the box and closed it.
“Thanks Tia, you’re the best.” Luna said as she hugged her sister.
Celestia smiled as she hugged her sister back. Luna let Celestia go and started to slip on her shoes. Celestia used her magic to fix Luna’s necklace.
“Thanks.” Luna smiled.
Celestia nodded as she left the room and closed the door behind her.
The girls were all gathered in front of the Carousel Boutique waiting for their carriage to arrive.
“Nice hat AJ.” Rainbow said as she hovered above Apple Jack.
“Thanks, Rarity made it for me.” Apple Jack said as she adjusted her hat.
“Are you okay, Twilight?” Fluttershy asked.
Twilight was shaking a bit, “Fine, everything is fine. Nothing wrong over here. Nope.”
“Uhh you sure Twilight? You look kind of nervous.” Rainbow said.
“Nope everything is just perfect.” Twilight squeaked.
The girls all looked worried as the carriage arrived. One at a time they got on, except for Twilight.
“You coming Twi?” Apple Jack asked.
“Well maybe I should stay behind, you know there are so many lessons I have yet to learn about friendship. I know I would be able to find something in my books so...HEY!” Twilight yelled as Rainbow Dash grabbed her and pulled her into the carriage.
Pinkie closed the door and the carriage took off.
“I’m afraid of heights.” Twilight lied.
“Oh come now dear, we are all here for you.” Rarity said as she patted Twilight’s back.
“Yeah Twilight, besides you can’t have Luna waiting now can you?” Apple Jack said.
Twilight took a deep breath and looked around at her friends. They smiled at her, trying to calm her nerves.
“You’re right, I can’t keep her waiting. I can do this.” Twilight said.
Luna and Celestia were standing at the entrance greeting ponies as they walked in. Luna sighed as she looked around for Twilight. Celestia wrapped a wing around her sister, “She will be here soon.”
“I hope so,” Luna sighed.
As if on cue a carriage landed a few feet away from the princesses. Luna stood up straight, excited as she saw Twilight’s friends get off first. Twilight poked her head through the carriage door before she stepped out.
Luna’s jaw almost hit the ground. Twilight was wearing a midnight black dress that had silver trimmings. It shimmered when the light hit it and it had Luna’s cutie mark on Twilight's chest.
Luna swallowed back some drool that was threatening to fall from her mouth. Celestia reached over and helped Luna close her mouth.
Twilight looked around and spotted Luna. She blushed as she smiled at her and waved a little. Luna’s eyes were glued to Twilight as she raised a hoof and waved back.
Twilight was approached by many stallions. Twilight politely shook her head no as she followed her friends. The stallions who didn't talk to her were busy staring at her. Luna frowned and swore under her breath, “I’m going to lock that mare up and keep her away from everypony.”
Twilight finally reached the front and bowed. The princesses bowed back. Luna gave Twilight a “Wait till later look.” Twilight gave her an innocent smile as she joined her friends inside the ballroom.
There were a few stallions and mares dancing on the dance floor. Most were sitting at the tables laughing, talking, eating, and just overall having a good time.
“Twilight, We Are Over Here!” Pinkie yelled as she flailed her arms in her air.
Twilight trotted over and joined them at their table.
“Where are Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy?” She asked looking around.
“They went to take a romantic stroll in the garden. I’m so happy for them.” Rarity said as she took a sip of her punch.
“Well I just hope that Rainbow can keep Fluttershy under control. Remember what happened last time Fluttershy was in the garden.” Apple Jack said.
The girls all giggled collectively. Twilight looked around at the crowd, “Looks pretty full tonight.”
“Aw don’t worry Twi, you and Luna around going to be just fine.” Pinkie said.
“Thank you girls, because of you girls I feel a whole lot better about tonight.” Twilight said as she reached over and hugged her friends.
“That is what we are here for dear.” Rarity said.
Twilight saw something move from the corner of her eye. She turned her head to see it was Luna motioning her over. Twilight looked back to the girls, “Umm...will you guys excuse me for a minute?” Twilight left before she got an answer.
Twilight followed Luna as she disappeared behind a door that led to the hallway.
“Luna?” Twilight called out as she peeked her head through the doorway. She started walking down the hallway as she called out, "Luna?"
Before she knew it she was forcefully grabbed and shoved into a cramped closet. “So who do I have to thank and complain to for you looking like that?” A familiar voice said from behind her.
“Luna?” Twilight asked, very well knowing her answer.
“Yes my dear, do you know how distracting you have been?” Luna asked as she gently kissed Twilight on her neck.
“Luna, I…”
“Not a word. Do you know how hard it was to watch all of those stallions drooling over what is mine. I could barely control myself.” Luna said as she continued to kiss Twilight’s neck. Luna wrapped her arms around Twilight holding her tight.
Twilight just sighed as a blush crept up to her cheeks.
“It was even worse seeing them try to talk to you. Oh Twilight, you don’t know how much I just want to lock you away. To keep you from everypony.” Luna continued as she nibbled on Twilight’s ear. Her arms loosened up as her hooves started to travel all over Twilight’s body.
“Luna…” Twilight panted as she tried to turn around.
Luna held Twilight tight in place, “Just wait, after tonight I will make it well known throughout the world that you belong to me.”
Twilight nodded as she felt Luna’s hooves disappear. Twilight turned her head to see Luna resting her head on her shoulder.
“So I take it you like the dress.” Twilight said trying to lighten up the mood a little.
“I do, but I would love to see what is underneath even more.” Luna whispered as she bit the tip of Twilight’s ear.
There was a soft knock on the closet door. Twilight froze, as Luna opened the door with a swear.
“Whoa, didn’t know it was that kind of party.” Rainbow Dash said.
“What do you want?” Luna growled.
“Celestia wants to see you.” Dash said.
Luna sighed as she helped Twilight out of the closet and helped her with her dress and fixing her mane.
“I apologize Ms. Dash for my tone earlier, I was just...busy.” Luna apologized.
She turned and gave Twilight a soft peck on the lips, “See you later my love.”

So between school and work I will try to upload every Wednesday. Notice I said Try, so if you log on Wednesday and a chapter wasn't up yet then give me a little bit of time okay. I promise I will not leave you hanging.
Chapter 6: Night of the Gala pt.2
Twilight and Rainbow went to join the rest of the group at the table.
“Hey, where were you guys?” Fluttershy asked.
Rainbow took a seat next to her. Twilight took a seat between Pinkie Pie and Rarity.
“Well I had to go find Luna, Celestia requested her presence.” Rainbow said as she took Fluttershy’s glass and took a sip.
“Where was Luna?” Apple Jack asked.
Rainbow looked at Twilight and grinned, “She was busy dealing with some...royal duties.”
Twilight rested her head on the table and used her hooves to cover the blush that had appeared.
“You okay Twilight?” Fluttershy asked.
“I’m fine.” Twilight said.
The girls realized that the music had stopped and there was just the sound of chatter in the room. Slowly the chatter died down as ponies realized that there wasn’t any music. In a few minutes the room was completely silent. The double doors sprang open, there Luna and Celestia stood.
The guards lined up as the princesses made their way to the stage. Everypony they passed bowed.
Twilight was watching Luna. Luna turned her head and gave Twilight a smile. Twilight couldn’t help but smile back.
Celestia and Luna stepped onto the stage as the band stepped aside to give them room.
“Good Evening Mares and Gentlecolts, how are all of you enjoying the festivities?” Celestia asked.
Ponies just murmured collectively and nodded their heads.
“Well we would like to thank everypony for being able to attend the Gala this year. This is the biggest turnout we have ever had.” Celestia said.
There was the growing sound of clapping hooves. Twilight and her friends joined in as well.
“Now before we get back to the festivities, my sister would like to make an announcement.” Celestia said as she fell back and gave Luna the spotlight.
Luna looked at Twilight and smiled as she begun, “As you ponies are aware, my sister and I have been so caught up in our royal duties that we haven’t had time to settle down.”
Twilight shivered as in fear as she knew that she was possibly going to have to stand on that stage.
“Part of being a Princess is being able to balance your social life, as well as your royal duties.”
Pinkie Pie put her hoof on Twilight’s shoulder trying to calm her down. Twilight turned her head to look at Pinkie. She mouthed “Thank you” to Pinkie as Luna continued.
“So tonight I would like to reveal the one pony that has captured my heart. She has helped me control my tone and has helped me better connect with my subjects.”
Twilight took a deep breath as Luna pointed her hoof at her.
“Twilight Sparkle, would you please join me on stage?” Luna asked.
Twilight nodded as she rose from her seat and made her way to the stage. Most of the ponies looked confused. They didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. Twilight climbed up on stage and stood next to Luna.
“This is the pony that has stole my heart; you can see it there on her chest.” Luna said as she pointed to her cutie mark that was on Twilight’s dress.
Twilight was blushing as she looked out to the crowd. Many of the ponies were just frozen. all sharing the same bewildered look.
“Twilight you may have stolen my heart, but i know how to get it back.” Luna said.
Twilight looked over at Luna and instantly felt something catch in her throat. Twilight put her hoof on her mouth and tried to stop herself from crying.
Luna had a dark purple ring box. Twilight felt her face flush as she felt tears streaming down her cheeks.
“Twilight Sparkle, Would you do me the honor of becoming my wife?”
The crowd all gasped collectively. The girls had their mouths hanging wide open in shock as they stared at the scene before them.
Twilight swallowed back a sob that was begging to be release. She looked at the ring. It was silver gold with a black cursive writing on the inside. The diamond it held was shaped like a crescent moon.
Twilight looked up at Luna. She could tell by the rapidness of Luna’s blinks that she was holding back some tears of her own.
Twilight nodded as she whispered “Yes.”
“I can’t understand you dear, I can’t hear you with your hoof on your mouth.” Luna smiled.
Twilight put her hoof down and took a deep breath as she looked at Luna. “Yes.”
Luna’s smile grew wide. She used her magic to put the ring on Twilight's horn. Some ponies started murmuring. The girls all cheered from their table. Only a few ponies clapped.
Twilight moved closer to Luna and gave her a gentle kiss. Luna wrapped her arms around Twilight and pulled her closer as she deepened the kiss.
“Told you I would prove to the world that you are mine.” Luna whispered as she broke the kiss.
Celestia looked to the band and they started to play. Twilight put her hoof on Luna’s cheek.
“May I have this dance?” Luna asked putting her own hoof on Twilight’s
“Yes.”
Many ponies left the Gala confused. Some ever thought it was a prank. The night was still and everypony silently made their way to their carriages.
The mane six were making their way to their carriage. There was soft snoring coming from Fluttershy, who was asleep on Rainbow’s back.
“Poor thing tuckered herself out. What happened?” Rarity asked.
Rainbow yawned, “Nothing we just both had a busy day.”
“I think we all have, I haven’t been this tired since apple buckin’ day.” Apple Jack said as she used her own hoof to cover up her yawn.
Twilight and Luna were at the back of the pack. “So where do you want to sleep tonight?” Luna asked.
“I don’t care where we sleep, I just want to be with you.” Twilight said.
“Oh Twilight, I didn’t know you were that type of mare.” Luna smirked.
Twilight blushed, “Luna, don’t talk like that.”
Luna smiled as she gently kissed Twilight on her cheek.
Once they were at the carriage the girls hopped in one-by-one.
“Aren’t you coming Twi?” Apple Jack asked.
“Not tonight girls, I’m going to spend the night with my fiance.” Twilight said as she smiled at the girls.
“Alright make sure to have some fun.” Rainbow said as she winked at Twilight and Luna.
Luna and Twilight both looked at each other and blushed a little. Pinkie Pie closed the door to the carriage and they took off. Twilight watched as her friends left.
“You know you really do have some great friends.” Luna stated, using her wing to pull Twilight closer to her.
“Yeah, I also have the greatest fiance ever.” Twilight said as she turned her head and licked Luna’s cheek.
Luna looked down at Twilight. Twilight looked up at Luna with bedroom eyes. It didn't take Luna even a split second, she picked up Twilight and flew off.
Luna kicked in her room door. She entered still holding Twilight, she turned and kicked the door closed.
“Wow Luna, I have never seen your room so clean before.” Twilight smiled.
Luna chuckled, “It won’t stay that way for long.”
Luna used her magic to lock the door as she made her way to the bed. She gently set Twilight down, and used her magic to close and lock her balcony door. Luna slid into the bed and pulled Twilight close as she gave her a gentle kiss on the lips. Luna started to trail from Twilight’s lips down to her chin, and further down to her neck.
“I’m the luckiest mare in the world.” Twilight whispered.

Chapter 7: The Breakfast Scandal

Now this is just a little filler chapter, something fun and something to keep your guys tied over as i write about the wedding planning drama. Pray for me.
Chapter 7: The Breakfast Scandal
Twilight squinted as her closed eyelids was assaulted by the morning light. She groaned as she rolled over. She felt something soft and heard the steady, gentle beating of a heart. She smiled as she buried her muzzle into it. She felt arms wrap around her, pulling her in closer, giving a gentle teasing squeeze.
“Good morning beautiful, did you sleep well?” Luna asked as she rested her head on Twilight’s.
“It was a peaceful sleep thanks to you.” Twilight said causing Luna to smile.
Twilight tried to move but Luna only tightened her hold.
“Luna, we need to get up. You have royal duties and I have my lessons.”
“But I don’t want to, can’t we just have a day in bed?” Luna whined.
Twilight again tried to move, Luna tightened her grip more. Twilight sighed but then smiled deviously as she looked up. Slowly and deliberately she ran her tongue across Luna’s neck.
Luna’s hold tightened even more, “Those are dangerous waters you treck love. Don’t start something you can’t finish.”
Twilight didn’t respond, she just repeated her action again. Before she knew it she was flipped onto her back, Luna was on top of her.
“Too late to turn back now.” Luna said as she leaned down and kissed Twilight on her lips.
Celestia yawned as she left her balcony. She wondered if her sister was home so, she made a quick stop to check on Luna. She went to knock but froze once she heard some suggestive noises coming from the other side of the door. Celestia just shook her head “Yeah, she’s home.”
Celestia soon found herself in the kitchen. She walked up to the fridge and opened it. She looked around to make sure the coast was clear then she dove into her cake stash. She picked up a slice and sat herself down at the table with a glass of milk. She licked her lips as she looked at her triple decker chocolate cake.
“Starting a little early there, aren’t we now?” Luna said as she walked into the kitchen. She was wearing a dark purple robe and her mane was a mess; yet there was a huge smile on her face.
Celestia looked back as her sister, “Aren’t we one to talk?”
Luna blushed, “Well in my defense, I can’t resist. I have a beautiful mare in my bed. You expect me not to take advantage of that?”
“Well have you guys started planning anything yet? Venue? Colors? Anything?” Celestia asked.
“Calm down sis, it has only been a day. Besides I have been busy.” Luna said.
“With what?” Celestia asked as she took a bite of her cake.
“I would tell you, but then i would have to kill you.” Luna smiled as she walked away.
Celestia rolled her eyes. She doesn’t remember her sister being this vulgar, but at least she was happy.
Twilight was snoring softly as Luna entered the room. Luna smiled as she looked over at the sleeping mare. She slowly tiptoed over to the bed and gently placed a soft kiss on Twilight’s cheek.
“Sweetheart wake up, you need to come eat breakfast.” Luna whispered softly as she gently nibbled on Twilight’s ear.
Twilight yawned as she turned over pulling the blanket over her head.
“Oh no you don’t…” Luna growled playfully as she used her magic to pull the blanket off of Twilight.
Twilight reached around the bed for the blanket, her eyes still closed. She opened one eye and looked at Luna, “I thought you loved me?”
Luna smiled as she sat on the bed, petting Twilight’s mane, “I do. I need you to get up though. You have your lessons and I have my duties.”
Twilight frowned as she sat up, “Hey, that was my line. You stole it.”
Luna smiled as she gave Twilight a gentle peck, “I know. Now you better have that cute flank of yours in the kitchen and at that table, so I can make us a proper breakfast.”
Twilight giggled as she got off of the bed, she looked at Luna as she swayed her tail back and forth, “You mean this flank?”
Luna took a deep breath, “If you continue to tease me like that, you can bet on me locking you up.”
Twilight stopped teasing Luna, “I just wanted to show my fiance how much I love her.”
Luna smiled as Twilight left the room. She was happy that Twilight was feeling more confident around her. Even if it was only in private, it was start.
Twilight entered the kitchen and saw Celestia eating a piece of chocolate cake.
“No to be rude Princess Celestia, but isn’t it a little early for cake?” Twilight asked.
Celestia looked over at Twilight. She wiped her maul clean, “Never too early for cake my dear, and don’t be so formal Twilight. We are going to be family from now on, you can call me Tia.”
Twilight bit her lip, “How about Celestia, I don’t know if I would feel comfortable calling you Tia yet.”
Celestia nodded, “Fair enough.”
Celestia finished her cake as Luna walked into the kitchen. “Morning sister, I see you have a hole in your chin.”
Celestia looked down and realized there was some chocolate icing on her coat. “Oh well, aren't I the messy eater. I’m going to go wash up, then I'll wash the dishes.”
“Don’t worry sis, I am about to make breakfast anyway. I’ll handle the dishes, you go worry about that draconequus you have lying in your bed.” Luna said waving her sister off.
“I guess I should go tend to my lover, if you will excuse me.” Celestia said as she left the room.
Twilight’s mouth hung open in surprise, “NO WAY!”
Luna nodded as she started to fumble through the drawers and cabinets, “Yup, been going on for years. I don’t know if Discord is ever going to pop the question.”
Luna set the counter up and looked over at Twilight, who was now frozen.
“It couldn’t have been that much of a surprise, remember they have been around a lot longer than you guys have. Before he...lost it, he was actually a sweet guy. To be honest he spoiled my sister. So much so that, she had to go on a diet and talk to a professional about her cake addiction.” Luna said.
“Still...Discord?” Twilight asked, turning to look at Luna.
“Well what can I say, he was her first.” Luna said as she made her way to the fridge and started collecting ingredients.
Chapter 8: Planning the Wedding pt.1

Twilight was setting up a table for two. She had sent Spike to her parents house for the weekend. She finished by placing her favorite dandelion sandwich on her side and made Luna a peanut butter and apple jam sandwich.
Once the table was set she made her way to the balcony and waited for Luna to arrive. It didn’t take long for Luna to appear in the distance.
Luna smiled as she saw her fiance sitting on her balcony.
“Hello dear, your princess charming has arrived.” Luna chuckled.
“I don’t know if I really needed any saving.” Twilight smirked.
Luna landed next to Twilight. She leaned over and stole a gentle kiss from Twilight’s lips.
“Hey you didn’t ask.” Twilight pouted as she started to make her way inside.
“I didn’t know I needed to, after all that is my ring you are wearing.” Luna smiled as followed Twilight in.
“I have set the table incase you were hungry.” Twilight said as she lead Luna to the kitchen.
Luna’s stomach growled the minute she set her eyes on the food. “Oh wow, i did kind of skip breakfast today.”
Luna sat at the table and started to dig into her sandwich. Twilight sat across from her watching her eat.
Luna looked up, “Twilight, is there a reason that you aren’t eating?”
“Well I...today has been stressful. The girls and i have been spending all day wedding planning.” Twilight said as she nibbled on her sandwich.
Luna set her food down and gave Twilight a serious look. “Why didn’t you write me to let me know? I would have been here to help you out.”
Twilight shook her head, “Well I didn’t want to disturb you. I didn’t know if you had any important matters to deal with and I didn’t want to get in your way.”
Luna sighed, “Twilight, haven’t I told you before that you are not a burden. If anything you are more important to me than those royal duties.”
Twilight shook her head, “Don’t say that, you are still a princess and you still have your responsibilities.”
Luna got up and walked over to Twilight. She gently placed a hoof under Twilight’s chin and pulled her in for a kiss.
Twilight immediately responded as heat rushed to her face. Luna broke the kiss and rested her forehead on Twilight’s.
“I am your wife first and a princess second.” Luna whispered.
Twilight smiled as she wrapped her arms around Luna, “I love you with all my heart.”
“As I do my love. As do I.”
The next morning Twilight woke up on the floor of her library. She looked down at the book her face was resting on. The pages of the book held pictures of wedding dresses and next to the book was a notepad and quill.
Twilight heard soft snoring and turned her head to see Luna sprawled out over many books. Some books weren’t even open, others showed different locations and wedding themes. Twilight giggled when she realized Luna had drooled a little bit on the guest list they started to write out.
Twilight leaned over and gently nuzzled Luna, “Wake up sweetheart.”
Luna groaned as she buried her head further into a book, “Why must morning come so quickly?”
Twilight smiled as she leaned over more and gently kissed Luna. Luna immediately perked up, raising her head and looking at Twilight.
“Well good morning dear, that was a great way to start the day.” She said as she stood up.
Luna and Twilight got to work stacking the books neatly and organizing their lists into one binder.
“You hungry? I can whip up something.” Twilight asked.
Luna nodded, “I will work on getting this cleaned up.”
“Then after breakfast we can get back to work.” Twilight said as she made her way to the kitchen.
Luna sighed, “How much more planning do we need to do. Can’t we just say “I do” And get to the honeymoon already?”
Twilight pouted as she started to make breakfast, “No, this wedding has to be perfect. I don’t want anything to come between us.”
Luna followed Twilight into the kitchen, “What do you mean you don’t want anything to come between us? What have those silly fillies been putting into your head?”
“Well did you know that 9 out of 10 have been proven to fall through because of bad weddings.” Twilight said.
Luna looked at Twilight with a raised eyebrow, “You haven’t been listening to Ms. Rarity’s magazine advice have you?”
Twilight nodded, “Well maybe a little, but what if it is true.”
Luna walked up to Twilight and pulled her in for a reassuring hug. “Nothing could ever come between us. I love you Twilight Sparkle, and nothing is ever going to change that.”
Twilight smiled as she hugged Luna back.
Later on the day the girls were waiting for Twilight at Sugar Cube Corner.
“I wonder why Twilight wanted to meet us.” Applejack said
“I just hope nothing terrible happened.” Fluttershy whispered.
Rainbow wrapped her arm around Fluttershy, “I’m sure everything is fine. Maybe she just wants some help with planning the wedding.”
Just then Twilight and Luna walked in, holding hooves. Everypony bowed as Luna passed by.
“No need everypony. Please continue with your daily activities.” Luna said as they made their way to the table.
Twilight took a seat and Luna sat next to her. “So we have decided that...well...we aren’t going to have a big wedding.”
“What!” The girls all yelled in unison.
“Not all weddings have to be big. The purpose of the wedding is to join two people together. To bind them to one another forever more. It is not vital for the wedding to be big.” Luna said as she pulled Twilight’s chair closer to hers.
“So we can probably have it at the orchard.” Applejack said.
“I can do the dresses.” Rarity said.
“Yes, we can all help. If it is small there shouldn’t be much to do.” Pinkie said.
“Yeah we are here to help.” Rainbow said.
The girls all nodded their heads as they all mumbled in agreement.
“Come on girls, we have a wedding to plan.” Applejack yelled.
Luna and Twilight shared a smile, “I really do have the best friends ever.”
Chapter 10: The Small Royal Wedding
Pinkie Pie was bouncing around as she and Fluttershy decorated the gazebo. Rainbow and Applejack worked on decorating the barn.
“Applejack what in tarnation is going on here?” Granny Smith asked as she walked into the barn.
“Granny, I told ya that today is Twilight and Princess Luna’s wedding. They are going to have it here on the farm.” Applejack sighed.
“I don’t remember you telling me that.” Granny Smith said.
Applebloom ran in with Scootaloo and Sweetie Bell. They were sporting their flower filly dresses. They were a light grey with violet trimmings. Each filly wore a crown that was made up of violet lilacs.
“Granny what do ya think?” Applebloom asked as she twirled.
Granny Smith smiled, “You look absolutely beautiful youngin.”
Babs walked in after, “Cuz, I don’t think this dress is really me.”
“Shoot, does everypony know about this here wedding?” Granny Smith asked.
“Yes Granny,” Applejack sighed again as she nailed some of the decorations in place.
“Shoot, I don’t have anything to wear.” Granny said as she looked around.
“Applebloom, why don’t you go help Granny find something nice to wear for the wedding.” Applejack suggested.
Applebloom nodded, “You got it sis.”
“Whatever you do don’t get that dress dirty, ya hear?” Applejack said.
Applebloom sighed, “I won’t.”
The girls then escorted Granny Smith out of the barn and let AJ and Rainbow decorate the barn in peace.
Rarity was inside of the Apple’s house finishing alterations on both of the wedding dresses. The CMC’s walked in with Granny Smith trailing behind.
“Rarity, Granny needs to look fabulous.” Applebloom said.
Rarity turned back pulled out her measuring tape. She started taking Granny’s measurements.
“I will take care of things from here. Why don’t you girls go play.” Rarity said as she started digging through her fabrics.
Sweetiebelle nodded as the girls turned to run off.
“Don’t Get You Dresses Dirty!” Rarity yelled after the girls as they ran off.
The CMC’s went into their clubhouse as the other ponies worked on decorating. A carriage started to appear in the distance.
“The Princesses are here!” Pinkie yelled as she climbed to the top of the barn and flagged the carriage.
The carriage started to descend and came to a soft landing near the gates of Sweet Apple Acres. Celestia gracefully stepped out of the carriage and Luna was right behind her.
The girls approached the princesses, heads bowed.
“Hello everypony, how is the decorations coming along?” Celestia asked.
“It’s going great your highness, we are pretty much done. We are getting started on the food soon.” Applejack spoke up.
“Well I would like to thank everypony, this place is looking amazing.” Luna thanked as she walked up to the girls. “There is one face that I don’t see, where is my bride?”
“She is with Rarity inside of the house, she is getting ready.” Rainbow said.
Celestia looked over to Luna, “I suggest you go and start to get ready as well sister. You are only moments away from your vows.”
Luna nodded as she made her way to the barn house.
“Will you ponies help me unload the carriage?” Celestia asked.
The girls nodded as they strolled up to the royal carriage.
Luna knocked on the door and peeked her head in. “Knock, knock?” She said.
“Just a moment.” Rarity yelled from upstairs.
Moments later Rarity made her way down the stairs and bowed, “Hello Princess Luna, here to see your bride-to-be I assume?”
Luna nodded, “Yes actually.”
Rarity sighed, “I’m sorry to say Princess Luna, but, seeing the bride before the wedding is bad luck.”
Luna shook her head, “Well I hate to be rude, but, I don’t believe in such myths and rumors. Now if you'll excuse me I’m going to go see my bride.”
Rarity just nodded and let Luna through. Luna walked upstairs and peeked her head through one of the cracked doors.
“Twilight?” She called out, confused that she saw no pony in the room.
Luna walked in to see the room completely covered with dresses and fabrics. On the dresser were many cases of makeup and canisters of manespray. The only thing missing was Twilight. Luna was about to try the next room when she heard a sneeze coming from the closet.
Luna smiled as she tip-toed to the closet and slowly opened the door. There was an unicorn figure hiding under a blanket.
Luna chuckled, “You don’t have to hide beautiful, I don’t believe in bad luck.” She pulled the blanket off the reveal a dummy.
Luna dropped the blanket and looked around the room confused. The room was silent.
“So it’s that type of game.” Luna said as she checked under the bed.
Twilight wasn't under the bed. Luna checked inside of the drawers. Nothing. Then she went back to the closet. She looked up at the top shelf and moved a few boxes around to see a curled up Twilight.
Twilight frowned, “I just don’t want us to have bad luck.”
Luna reached up and gently pulled Twilight from the shelf and into her arms. “We are not going to have bad luck.”
Twilight sighed as she rested her head on Luna’s shoulder.
Rarity walked in while the two were wrapped into a loving embrace, “I hate to interrupt, but there is still a lot to be done and not a lot of time left before the guests arrive.”
Luna nodded as her and Twilight separated. She leaned down and gave Twilight a gentle kiss on her nose. Twilight blushed a nice shade of red as she looked down at the floor.
“I will be waiting at the altar.” Luna stated as she turned and left the room.
Rarity walked up to Twilight and smiled as she placed a hoof on her shoulder. Twilight looked up at Rarity and smiled.
“Twilight, I think I speak for all of us when I say we are all extremely happy that you have found true happiness.” Rarity said.
Twilight smiled.
The sun started to set over the horizon as the last of the decorations were set. The apple orchard was decorated with light grey and violet.
The trees were covered with purple and grey paper lanterns. The tables were covered with white tablecloth. The tablecloth was covered with crescent moon and star shaped confetti. Every chair had a white balloon tied to it. On the tables were tea lamps.
In front of the barn doors was were the altar was set. There was a flower arch that consisted of purple lilacs and white hydrangea.
The girls all took a step back and sighed.
“We did a great job.” Rainbow said.
“You sure did,” Celestia said as she walked up.
The girls bowed, “No need, but you girls better go and start getting dressed the guests will be arriving soon.” Celestia said.
The girls nodded as they made their way to the house. They opened the door and Rarity was standing there to welcome them.
“How come you aren't dressed yet Rare?” Applejack asked.
“I can’t get dressed until all of you are. Upstairs now.” Rarity ordered as she shoved the girls up the stairs.
Soon guests started to show up. The CMC’s were at the gate welcoming everypony and checking them in.
Everypony was dressed in dresses that matched the theme colors that were set for the wedding. The girls exited the house with the exception of Rarity who stayed behind to finish getting herself and Twilight ready.
Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy were wearing light violet dresses. Both dresses were identical since they were Twilight’s bridesmaids. Rainbow and Applejack were in light grey suits. They were matching Shining Armor, Big Mac,
“Do you want something to drink?” Rainbow asked as she looked over at Fluttershy.
Fluttershy nodded. Rainbow trotted over to the food tables.
“I love how Rainbow looks in her suit.” Fluttershy whispered.
“Yeah, she looks super duper.” Pinkie said.
“Fluttershy, you and Twilight are very lucky. You both found somepony to love.” Applejack said as Rainbow reproached the group with a cup of punch for Fluttershy.
Fluttershy took the cup and sipped a little bit of the punch. She then passed Rainbow her cup to share.
“So Rainbow how do you fancy your suit there?” Applejack asked.
“More comfortable than a dress, I'll say that.” Rainbow said.
Luna was in the living room of the house. The was checking herself out in the mirror one more time. She was wearing a black and grey dress. The top of her dress resembled that of chest plate armor. Her cutie mark was imprinted on the front of it. She had a headband on her head that was made entirely of pearls; in the middle of the headband was her cutie mark.
Celestia poked her head through the front door. “We are ready to begin. You ready?” Celestia asked.
Luna nodded as she followed her sister outside.
Vinyl changed the music up a little as ponies started to collect in front of the altar. They left the aisle open. Celestia took her spot in front at the altar.
Everypony stood as Luna walked to the alter with Shining armor. They came from the side rather than down the aisle.
Behind all of the ponies the couples grouped up and prepared for the walk. Applejack saw Rarity in her bridesmaid dress and her jaw dropped.
Rarity looked over at Applejack who was frozen in place, “Are you okay there Applejack?”
Applejack snapped out of it and nodded, “Yeah, everything is fine.”
Rarity smiled, “Well then lets get in line.”
In order the bridesmaids and ushers made their way to the alter. Fluttershy was walking with Rainbow Dash. Pinkie Pie bounced along next to Big Mac. Rarity walked with Applejack.
Next Cadence walked alone since she was the Mare of Honor.
Spike was behind her, holding the rings on a little pillow.
The CMC’s gave Vinyl the signal. Vinyl spun a record and put on the wedding march. Everypony looked back as the CMC started throwing flowers and making their way down the aisle.
Twilight and her Father started to walk. She was wearing a white dress and on her chest was her cutie mark in grey. She had her mane tied up in a bun and she was on her fathers right arm. During the entire walk she stared at Luna. Luna stared right back. Owlicious and Tank were carrying Twilight’s train. When Twilight and her father got to the front her father gave her away.
“Take care of my baby.” He said. Luna nodded and he walked back to stand next to Twilight’s mom.
Twilight stood next to Luna. The music was cut. They continued to stare at each other as Celestia began.
“Mares and Gentelcolts, we are here today to celebrate the union of Twilight Sparkle and Princess Luna. The couple has written their own vows that they will recite now.” Celestia said as she passed the attention onto Twilight.
“Luna, in the beginning I was in denial about loving you. That was only because I was afraid. I was afraid that you would reject me and I couldn't bare to stand that. Now that I am standing here in the dress, among all of our friends and family, I consider myself lucky. Lucky that someone as amazing as you would look my way. Even though our first meeting was a little...abnormal, I am glad we met and became more than friends. I love you, Luna.” Twilight said as she wiped a tear that was streaming down her cheek.
Luna took a deep breath as she began, “ Twilight Sparkle, I was in love with you at first sight. When you freed me from myself and allowed me to be reunited with my sister. You gave me a second chance to improve myself. You even helped me by teaching me how to communicate and interact with others. I can’t imagine my life without you in it. Today will forever be etched in my memory as the day I found never ending happiness. I love you Twilight Sparkle.” Luna said as she reached over and gently wiped a tear that had started to fall from Twilight’s eye.
“Twilight Sparkle, do you take Princess Luna to be your mare for as long as you both shall live?” Celestia asked as she looked over to Twilight.
Twilight nodded, “I do.”
“Princess Luna, do your take Twilight Sparkle to be your mare for as long as you both shall live?” Celestia asked as she looked over to Luna.
Luna nodded, “I do.”
Celestia looked over at Spike, “May we have the rings please?”
Spike walked over with the rings. The rings were both silver gold. One had a pink diamond in the shape of a star, and the other had a clear diamond in the shape of the crescent moon.
Luna picked up the ring that had the crescent moon and placed it on Twilight's horn. Twilight returned the favor with the other ring.
“I now pronounce you mare and mare.” Celestia announced as Twilight placed both her front hooves on Luna’s chest, leaning in for a kiss. Ponies stomped their hooves as Twilight and Luna kissed.
Later on Twilight and Luna were sitting at a table with the mane 6 and Celestia. The girls kept congratulating Twilight and Luna as they ate their meal.
Twilight felt some pony tap on her shoulder, “Twili, I’m so proud of you.” Shining Armor said as Twilight stood up to give him a hug.
“Are you crying?” Twilight asked.
“No, it’s liquid pride. Two totally different things.” Shining Armor said.
Cadence was behind him and pulled Twilight in for a hug as well. “It was an honor being you mare of honor Twilight. Congrats to you and Luna.”
“Thank you,” Luna said as she stood up to hug Cadence.
“You two make a lovely couple.” Twilight’s father said as he walked up.
“I don’t mean to interrupt but i was wondering if I may dance with my little girl one last time.? He asked.
Luna nodded, “Of course.” Luna put up her hoof to signal Vinyl.
Vinyl hopped on the mike, “Okay, everypony clear the dance floor. The bride and her father are going to share a dance.”
Twilight’s father led her to the dance floor. When the music started they begun to dance.
“Dad, are you really okay with me being married to a mare?” Twilight asked.
“well at first you mother and I were a little skeptical. Then we decided as long as you are happy then we don’t care.” Her father said.
Twilight sighed in relief.
“Besides Luna seems like a very well put together mare. I have faith that she will be able to take care of my little Twilight.” He said as she hugged her.
“I love you daddy.” Twilight said.
Somepony tapped on her father’s shoulder. “Can I get a dance with my little sis?” Shining Armor asked.
Their father nodded as he passed Twilight over.
“Twili, Cadence and I are both happy that you have found love.” Shining Armor said.
“Thanks BBBFF.” Twilight said.
“We just want you to know that if you and Luna ever need anything to just let us know.” Shining Armor said as he patted Twilight on her head.
“Hey, you’ll mess up my mane.” Twilight complained as somepony else tapped on Shining Armors shoulder.
“Mind if I cut in?” Luna asked.
Shining Armor nodded as he passed his sister over to Luna.
They were silent for a minute and all they did was look into each others eyes.
“How does it feel?” Luna asked.
“How does what feel?” Twilight asked.
Luna smiled, “How does it feel to belong to me?”
Twilight blushed as she leaned up and kissed Luna. Luna kissed Twilight back as she wrapped her arms around her. Twilight broke the kiss, “Wonderful.”
Pinkie whistled and the royal flying carriage rolled up. Twilight and Luna made their way to the carriage as hay piece were being thrown around them. Luna opened the door and Twilight stopped in front of it.
“What’s wrong?” Luna asked looking worried.
“We need to see who is next.” Twilight stated as she threw the bouquet.
Rarity jumped up and still managed to miss it. Instead it landed on Fluttershy’s back. She blushed as she looked over at Rainbow Dash. Rainbow looked back at Fluttershy and blushed her own shade of red.
“I knew it.” Luna whispered as she helped Twilight into the carriage. The carriage pulled off and took to the sky.
“We we better get planning. Rainbow Dash And Fluttershy Are Next!” Pinkie yelled.
Both Rainbow and Fluttershy blushed even brighter as Rarity, Applejack, and Spike laughed.
Inside the carriage, Twilight and Luna were in a loving embrace.
“Princess Luna is mine.” Twilight giggled as she kissed Luna’s neck.
“Twilight Sparkle is mine.” Luna stated as she nipped at Twilight’s ear.
Twilight looked up and Luna leaned down to kiss her as the carriage flew off.
“You are mine, forevermore.” They both whispered in unison.
Chapter 11: The Honeymoon

Chapter 11: The Honeymoon
Luna opened the carriage door as Twilight stepped out. Twilight looked around and gasped in awe at what she saw. There was a huge lake, and beyond that was hills and trees. The blanket of stars that shone overhead were not disrupted by a single cloud.
Twilight looked around and on the other side of the lake she saw a small little lake house.
“Is that where we will be staying?” Twilight asked.
Luna nodded as she grabbed Twilight’s hoof and started walking towards it.
“Then why did we get dropped off on the other side of the lake?” She asked.
“Because the first thing I wanted to do with my wife was go for a midnight stroll along the water.” Luna said.
Twilight smiled as she looked up at the stars, “It sure is beautiful out tonight.”
Luna looked over at Twilight, who was still watching the stars.
“Tis beauty can’t compare.” She whispered.
Luna opened the door and Twilight stepped in. She was amazed by the inside of the house.
“Why don’t you go take a look around?” Luna suggested.
Twilight nodded as she walked around the house, checking every detail.
The inside of the house was spacious. The entrance led to the living room, which merged with the dining room. The dining room was connected to the kitchen. Branching off from the kitchen was a little hallway that led to the master bedroom. The bathroom was located in the master bedroom and featured a Jacuzzi tub, shower stall, two sinks, and a toilet.
“This place is absolutely beautiful Luna. Where did you….How did you?” Twilight shook her head not believing what she was seeing.
“It used to belong to our parents. Before Celestia and I were born they actually used to live here.” Luna said.
“Really?” Twilight asked.
“Yeah, then mother got pregnant and father started to take his royal duties seriously. They moved out, but told my sister and I that we can have it. Celestia really doesn't have a need for it so she let me keep it.” Luna said.
“This place is just beautiful. I still can’t believe it.” Twilight said.
“Well believe it dear, this is where we are going to be staying for the next three days.” Luna said as she started to gently push Twilight towards the master bedroom.
“Three days is more than enough time to try out everything.” Luna smiled as she started biting Twilight’s neck.
Twilight moaned, “What do you mean everything?”
Luna responded by pinning Twilight down to the bed, “You will see.”
Twilight’s mind was completely blank as she was totally powerless to oppose Luna’s strong will. Using her tongue, Luna marked every inch of Twilight’s body except for one. As Luna was nearing her mark Twilight tensed up.
“What it is dear? We have done this a million times.” Luna asked as she gently kissed Twilight’s area.
Twilight jolted, “It’s just...different. What if it isn’t as special as….ohhh!”
Luna licked her once to shut her up, “Listen dear, this is just one of many nights that I will pin you to my mattress. There isn't any specific special moment, because every time we make love is special.”
Luna climbed up and kissed Twilight on her lips. Twilight was looking at Luna with bedroom eyes.
“Do me a favor dear, just relax and let me do my job effectively.” Luna said as she re-positioned herself.
Twilight nodded and gasped as Luna dove in. Twilight was screaming Luna’s name as her legs shivered.
Luna smiled as she moved Twilight’s legs over her shoulder so that she wouldn’t be interrupted as she enjoyed her dessert.
Twilight was sweating all over as her back arched. Luna put her hooves to work as she continued her assault with her tongue, causing Twilight to cry out.
Luna could sense Twilight nearing her release, “That is it dear...come on.” Luna said as she picked up speed.
Twilight’s magic surged as she climaxed all over Luna’s muzzle.
“I’m...sorry...Luna.” Twilight apologized as she fought to catch her breath. Her mane was a mess and her face was flushed.
“Don’t apologize my dear.” Luna said as she licked her lips, “You are just as delicious as ever.”
Twilight blushed at that comment, making her already flushed face a darker shade of red.
Luna re-positioned herself and presented herself to Twilight, “Sharing is caring.”
Twilight smiled as she got to work on Luna. Luna moaned as she continued to work on Twilight.
The rest of the night the two continued to climax to the others mercy. Twilight more so than Luna but that was the way Luna liked it.
The next morning Twilight woke up in a tangled mess of covers and pillows. Luna was holding Twilight close to her chest and Twilight smiled as she snuggled into Luna.
“I see you are awake. Did you enjoy last night?” Luna asked.
Twilight nodded as she kissed Luna’s neck, “Very much.”
Luna sighed, “While I would hate to leave this position, there are some things we have to attend to today.”
Twilight frowned, “Like what?”
“Well we need to decided if we will live in your library, or the castle. I also have to check the mail to make sure my sister doesn't require my presence. I would also love to shower.” Luna said.
“But, I don’t want to leave this bed.” Twilight stated.
“Oh don’t worry dear, we may leave the bed but that doesn't mean the act that happens in it won’t be repeated.” Luna smiled as she licked Twilight’s horn.
Twilight blushed as Luna moved to look at her face to face, “Besides there are other locations that would serve that action well.”
Twilight smiled, “Does that mean what I think it means?”
“Yes.”

Now I know this chapter is short and very bad but I just had to throw it out there. She is now Princess Twilight Sparkle...there. The next chapter will be so much better because now the story will start to pick up.
Chapter 13: Princess Twilight Sparkle
Twilight was relaxing in her library when she there was a rough knock on her door. She got up and trotted over to the door.
“Hello? Who is it?” She asked.
“Package for Twilight Sparkle!” The other pony yelled from the other side of the door.
Twilight opened her door to see a mail pony with a package. He nodded as he handed her the package.
“Thank you.” Twilight said as she took the package.
The mail pony nodded as he left and Twilight shut her door. She set the package on the table and read the label. “Oh look it’s from Celestia.”
Luna was cleaning out her room making room for Twilight. Celestia walked in and looked around.
“Not bad Lulu, it looks cleaner in here already.” Celestia said as she sat on the bed.
Luna chuckled as she set another box down in the corner of the room, “Well my wife is going to be moving in and I wanted to make sure she has enough room to be comfortable.”
Celestia stayed quiet for a moment then she spoke, “I sent her the spell.”
Luna froze. The room went silent. Celestia sat motionless as she waited for Luna to say something.
“Do you think she is ready? I don’t want to overload her with responsibility this early on in our marriage.” Luna said as she turned and looked at her sister.
Celestia nodded, “She is ready. I do apologize for the timing but I figured the sooner she earns her wings the sooner you can start taking her under your wing. She is going to have a lot of questions about being a princess and I figured you would be there to answer them for her.”
Luna nodded, “I understand and I am excited for her. I just don’t want her to be treated like how I was at that meeting.”
Celestia frowned, “I can assure you Luna that won’t happen again. I talked to the delegates and they got the message.”
Luna nodded, “Alright.”
Celestia stood up and looked around as if she was listening for something.
“She finished the spell, I am going to go give her her wings. I will be back soon.” Celestia said as she walked to the balcony and spread her wings and took off.
Luna nodded as she continued to clean and pack away the room.
“I just hope you are ready my love.” She whispered as she put another box into the corner.
The next day Twilight had her coronation. Once she was on the balcony she addressed the ponies of Canterlot. She explained how her friends had helped her become the pony she is today. Her friends joined her on the balcony and hugged her. Everypony cheered for Princess Twilight Sparkle as she left the balcony.
Luna was waiting for her at the double doors. Twilight smiled as Luna pulled her into a loving embrace. “Congratulations my love, I am so proud of you.”
Twilight looked up at Luna worried, “Are you sure that I am ready for this Luna? This is such a huge responsibility.”
Luna nodded as she kissed Twilight on her cheek, “If I wasn’t sure my love, I wouldn’t have gave Celestia the permission to give you your wings.”
Twilight smiled as her friends gathered around for a group hug. Luna opened her hooves and invited the others to join in the hug.
Later on back in Ponyville the girls were helping Twilight pack up the library. Spike was sitting on his “new” bed sniffiling.
“You will com back to visit me, won’t you?” He asked.
Twilight started to tear up as she reached over and hugged Spike. “Yes, I will come back and visit you. Will you take good care of the library?” She asked as she pulled away and wiped his tears away.
Spike nodded, “I will do you proud mom.” He covered his mouth as he slipped.
Twilight placed a hoof on her heart as she was taken aback by his last statement. She smiled as she let her tears flow down her cheek.
“I know you will my son.”
Luna waited by the doors of her balcony. She spotted a carriage in the distance. Twilight was flying next to the carriage awkwardly as two guards carried the carriage full of boxes. The stopped at the balcony. Twilight came in for an awkward landing.
She danced around a little to try to stand upright on her hooves. Luna chuckled, “Hello beautiful, I see that I am going to teach you how to fly.”
Twilight nodded with a blush of embarrassment. “I just have to get used to having wings.”
Luna smiled as she walked over and hugged Twilight, “Don’t worry Twilight, it won’t take you that long to get used to them. You look even more beautiful with those elegant wings on your back.”
Twilight blushed a little as Luna led her to the room. The guards started to unload the cart.
Once the guards were finished they bowed to the two princesses and took their leave.
Luna and Twilight were cuddling in the bed. Luna was humming softly as Twilight was slowly drifting off to sleep.
“Luna will we be together forever?” Twilight asked.
“Of course my love, forever and ever.” Luna whispered
Chapter 14: Trouble in Paradise

Luna woke up to Twilight tossing and turning. She looked over to see that Twilight was also mumbling in her sleep.
Luna closed her eyes and pointed her horn to Twilight’s head.
When Luna opened her eyes she saw that Twilight was sitting on the floor crying. All around her were silhouettes of ponies were saying hurtful things, laughing, and pointing at her.
When Twilight went to stood one of them kicked her down. Twilight cried out in pain as she fell to the floor.
“Why would Princess Luna ever fall in love with you?”
“Two mares married, what a disgusting sight.”
“How would they even have foals?”
“Look at you, you can’t even stand.”
“Little.”
“Weak.”
“Useless.”
“Insignificant.”
“Enough!” Luna yelled as she blasted all of the silhouettes away.
Twilight looked up, her face drenched with tears. “Luna?”
Luna ran over and pick Twilight up, “Yes my love, I am here.”
Twilight buried her head into Luna’s chest, her body started to violently shake as she continued to cry. Luna rested her head on Twilight’s as she gently stroked her mane.
“It’s okay Twilight, you are safe now.” Luna whispered in a gentle tone.
Twilight nodded as she started to calm down.
“Tonight I will give you a pleasant dream but, when we wake tomorrow you are going to explain to me why you had this nightmare. Understood?” Luna said.
Twilight nodded as her body still shivered a little.
Luna gently touched to tip of Twilight’s horn with her own and a little spark changed the eerie scene around then to something more soft and beautiful.
Luna opened her eyes to see Twilight sleeping peacefully now. She sighed as she pulled her sleeping figure close.
“Sweet dreams my love.” Luna whispered
The next morning Twilight woke up to and empty bed. She yawned as she sat up scanning the room for her wife.
“Luna?” She called out as she got off of the bed and stretched.
She opened their bedroom door and poked her head out, “Luna?”
She started to walk down the long hallway, “Luna?”
Twilight got to the throne room and it was empty. There was one pony mopping the floors.
“Um excuse me?” She called out.
The pony looked at her and bowed.
“No you don’t have to do that. Can you tell me where Princess Luna went?” Twilight asked.
“Princess Celestia and Luna were called to an urgent meeting this morning. There was a fallout with one of our neighboring kingdoms and they went over to resolve the issue before it got out of hand.” The pony said.
“Well why didn’t anypony wake me?” Twilight asked looking a little irritated.
“Oh, we were under strict orders to let you sleep.” The pony said.
Twilight sighed as she rubbed her forehead, she started to feel a slight headache coming on.
“Thank you.” She said as she turned and left.
She made her way to the bedroom. She closed the door behind her as she walked over to the bathroom.
On the sink she saw a note. She picked it up and recognized Luna’s hoofwriting.
“Good morning,
I apologize for not waking you my love. You just looked so peaceful after I
Love, Luna”
Twilight smiled as she hugged the letter, “Just come back to me safe.” She whispered her own little prayer.
Her stomach started to growl at the mention of hunger in the letter. She sighed as she left their bedroom once again. She decided to leave to the servant ponies alone as she made her way quietly to the kitchen.
She poked her head in to find it empty. “Wow this place is really quiet when not much activity is going on.” She said to herself.
Her stomach growled again, this time more violently as she opened the fridge. Everything looked good to Twilight’s hungry eyes.
She pulled out cake, cookies, salad, ice cream, mustard, hot sauce, strawberries, and water.
Twilight didn’t even noticed how odd this food combination was. She threw it all together in a bowl and started to chow down.
A servant pony walked in, “Oh princess Twilight, you are awake.” The pony bowed down.
Twilight waved her mouth full of food.
The servant pony looked at Twilight’s bowl with a questionable look.
“If you want Princess the I could have the chief prepare something for you.” The pony said.
Twilight shook her head as she shoveled another spoonful of food into her mouth. The servant pony just backed out of the kitchen with a worried look on her face.
Once Twilight was finished she placed her bowl in the sink and washed her hooves and face.
“Wow, I don’t think I have ever been that hungry before.” She said to herself as she left the kitchen and made her way to the room.
The servants watched her to make sure that she was alright as she closed the door to her and Luna’s room.
“Are you sure she was eating all of that stuff?”
“Yeah she looks fine to me.”
“I am not lying the bowl was huge and was just full with whatever was in the fridge. Go look, I bet the fridge is like half empty now.”
“That is unusually, usually Princesses keep themselves in top physical form.”
“Yeah which makes you question her choice in breakfast.”
Twilight yawned as she layed back down on the bed. She figured Luna would be back soon so she decided to wait for her.
Her eyelids started to grow heavy and before she knew it they were closed and she was fast asleep.
Twilight woke up a few hours later to the feeling of something warm and soft on her lips. She smiled as her eyelids fluttered open and she saw Luna kissing her.
“That is how you wake a sleeping beauty.” Luna smiled as she gently kisses Twilight’s forehead.
Fear rose in Twilight fast and hard as she felt something wasn’t right. She couldn’t place her hoof on it but she was afraid to open her mouth. She felt like there was a vacuum sucking up her stomach.
She soon realized what was happening as she knocked Luna over and ran to the bathroom.
Luna fell back with an oomph. At first she look hurt, but then when she heard the sounds that came from Twilight in the bathroom her face immediately turned to fear.
“Oh no,” She said as she jumped up and bust the door open. Twilight put her hoof up as she hurled her entire breakfast into the toilet.
“No, Luna...don’t” She tried to say between breaths.
Luna gently pulled back Twilight’s mane as she began to gently rub her back. Luna gasped as Twilight continued to hurl.
Once she finished Twilight’s face was drenched in sweat. Luna used a warm washcloth to wipe her face and mouth with as she flushed the toilet.
Luna felt Twilight’s forehead, she was burning up.
Twilight was gasping for air was she whined a little holding her stomach.
“Twilight, sweetheart. What is that matter? Where does it hurt? Talk to me.” Luna said as she started to freak out. She grabbed Twilight’s face gently and made her look at her.
“My stomach and head, I feel like I might puke again.” Twilight whined, her voice cracking a little.
Luna pulled Twilight close. She gently rocked Twilight as she whined gently. Tears started to fall from Luna’s eyes as she yelled out for the only person she knew could help her.
“Celestia!!!”
Twilight woke up in a bright room. She could hear the steady beeping of a heart monitor. She could hear the commotion outside of her room. She felt something soft underneath her. She soon realized she was in a hospital. She yawned as she tried to sit up.
“Don’t get up, you are still weak.” Luna said.
Twilight turned her head and saw her wife sitting right next the bed. “What happened? Why can’t I remember anything?”
Luna grabbed Twilight’s hoof and squeezed it, “What is the last thing you remember my love?”
“I was dreaming and then you kissed me to wake me up.” Twilight said as the rest of her memories up until the point of her getting here were all fuzzy.
“So you don’t remember hurling your entire stomach and all of its contents into the toilet?” Luna said.
Twilight jumped up, “I Did What!?” She screamed.
Luna gently pushed Twilight to lay back down, “Don’t worry my love. The doctor says it may have been something you ate. What did you have for breakfast?” She asked.
Twilight started listing off everything she ate. Slowly but surely the realization began to hit Luna. Her face turned to a look of shock and Twilight look at her wife confused.
“Luna, are you okay?” Twilight asked looking a little worried herself.
“No, it can’t be.” She said as she tried her best to hide the smile that started to form on her lips.
Twilight was about to say something when the doctor entered the room.
“Ah, morning Mrs. Sparkle. How are you feeling?” He asked.
“Better.” She said.
Luna looked over at the doctor, she needed to confirm her suspicion.
He grabbed the clipboard that was hanging on the foot of her bed. “Well now it appears we have found the problem. It’s not what we were expecting but the tests don’t lie.”
“What is going on?” Twilight asked.
“We did an ultrasound on you Mrs. Sparkle and found an unusual ball of cells right here in your uterus.” He said as he pulled up the ultrasound pictures.
“This means…” Twilight began, not being able to finish the sentence as she finally put two and two together.
“You are pregnant, Mrs. Sparkle.”
Chapter 16: The Tide Turns

Chapter 16: The Tide Turns
The hospital had to hold Twilight there for a couple of days. After multiple tests the doctors determined that she was healthy, but her pregnancy was “irregular”. Twilight was told that she would have to stay in the hospital for the first few months of her pregnancy.
Luna was worried, but Twilight’s main doctor assured her that there was nothing to worry about; they would get her pregnancy back on track in no time.
For the first month, Twilight was restricted to her bed. She wasn’t allowed to leave her room and the only time she was allowed to get out of bed was when she needed to relieve herself.
Luna was as busy as a princess could be, wrapping up some major affairs that her and Celestia had been working through for months now. She visited Twilight and stayed for as long as she could during each visit before her work would take her away.
The doctor prescribed Twilight some meds that had to be taken daily. The medicine was designed to help the foal catch up to it’s normal growth rate, but somehow even with the medicine, the foal was still a little behind.
Month two reared around and Twilight was still stuck in her bed. She started to develop a crazy appetite for hay mixed with chocolate, fish, and apple slices. She asked the doctor if she could have some, but he advised against it, claiming that it would not help the foal in its current condition.
He restricted Twilight to a strict diet of oats and honey. Twilight enjoyed the pair, until it became repetitive and she had to eat it every single day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. She was also restricted to drinking water or milk.
Twilight was on the verge of losing her mind. Her body demanded cravings she wasn’t allowed to have. Luna’s visits became a little less frequent as her and Celestia finished their royal affairs.
In their absence Discord visited Twilight. He would make her laugh with his chaos magic and pull pranks on the doctor. He would even give Twilight chocolate milk.
“Hey, he never said the milk couldn’t be chocolate,” Discord chuckled.
Twilight was thankful that he was able to help her get her mind off of her cravings.
The third month had approached and Twilight was now allowed to walk around. The doctor said that walking would do her some good, but she wasn’t allowed to fly and only allowed to use her basic levitation spell.
Twilight would walk around the hospital garden about three times before she would grow tired. She would then retreat to her room where she would be eating her oats and honey before taking her medicine.
The doctor started to prescribe a higher dosage of the medicine. This medicine would usually make Twilight drowsy and sleepy. She started to sleep more and for longer periods of time.
Celestia and Discord would come and visit Twilight, Celestia explaining the reason for Luna’s absence. She didn’t go much into detail, the only thing she said was, “Luna’s been busy at work. You may notice some changes have been made whenever the hospital releases you.”
Twilight grew ever more excited and a little impatent as she really wanted to be home with her wife. Celestia made sure to bring Twilight plenty of books to ease her boredom. Some being storybooks, other were parenting books. The more distracted Twilight was, the more likely time would fly and she would be released.
Month four came and at this time Twilight felt the weight gain. She wasn’t showing yet but when she stood she felt more weight pushing down on her hooves. Her diet had been expanded to hay, but the hay was plain without any flavoring allowed.
The doctor found out about the chocolate milk and he scolded Twilight for ruining her diet. She apologized and the doctor said that he would keep a closer eye on her and her visitors.
This was the first month her friends had visited her. She was so excited that she made sure to get out of her bed and hug them all. When Twilight asked how they had known about her pregnancy they admitted that Luna has sent them a letter.
Twilight hadn't noticed this when they walked in but Fluttershy was carrying a little bundle;a bundle she only recognized when it sneezed. She looked over and Fluttershy carried the bundle to Twilight, moving the blankets and revealing the little foal who was deep asleep.
Twilight smiled as Fluttershy let her hold the foal. It was a little colt with a sky blue coat and a light blue mane. She smiled as the little pegasus yawned and opened his little soft blue eyes.
“His name is Tundra,” Fluttershy whispered gently.
Rainbow explained how she proposed to Fluttershy only a short amount of time after Twilight’s wedding. Mare Mayor married them without hesitation, but regardless of that, Fluttershy and Rainbow still got looks from certain ponies about their choice.
Rarity spoke about how her and Applejack were now dating. Applejack had admitted her feeling for Rarity and she instantly fell for AJ.
Rarity boasted Applejack a little bit by telling Twilight how much of a gentlemare she really is. Twilight listened carefully but in the back of her mind she couldn’t help but feel like Spike might be a little crushed.
The girls brought Twilight some parenting books from the Golden Oak Library. Twilight thanked them and would often tell them some of the stories she has read, while thedoctor kept a close eye on Twilight.
Month five arrived and the doctor told Twilight that she would be released soon. This made Twilight happy considering she missed her home and her wife. Luna stopped by and started to visit, there were even times where she would spend the whole night.
Twilight was happy that they were finally able to cuddle again. There would be times that Twilight would get bad cramps and Luna would sit there and gently rub her belly. Twilight’s belly started to grow more. It was still relatively small for how long she has been pregnant, but she was still growing.
Month six, and Twilight was finally released from the hospital. The pregnancy had been announced to the public, so paparazzi were all over the hospital. Luna was able to shoo most of them off and get Twilight safely home.
Twilight entered the room and immediately saw what Luna has been working on. There was a foal crib, a highchair, a changing table, and a smarty pants doll. Twilight wiped the tear that started to roll down her cheek.
Luna smiled, “Do you like it? I wanted to make sure that our foal had the best.”
“I love it.” Twilight said as she hugged Luna.
“But you do realize that our foal won’t be born for a few more months right?” She asked.
Luna nodded, “I am aware, I just wanted to be prepared.”
Twilight smiled as she pulled Luna in for a gentle kiss.
Month seven flew by as Twilight slept for most of it. Anytime that she was awake she was eating. She was finally allowed to satisfy her weird cravings without the doctor watching over her, and Luna helped her.
Month eight came before they knew it and Twilight started to become very grumpy and emotional. She would yell at anything and everything. Luna would apologize even though she knew she didn’t have to.
Twilight would also cry over nothing. She was reading a cooking book and she started to cry over the fact that the corner of the page was torn. Luna would facehoof and blame Twilight’s crazy emotional rollercoaster on her pregnancy.
Month nine was here and her friends wanted to get together and start planning a foal shower. Twilight really didn’t want them to go through all of that trouble but they offered it anyway and wouldn’t allow her to deny anything of their planning.
Twilight wasn’t allowed to know any of the foal shower plans because it was apparently a surprise for her.
At this time Twilight was now bigger and actually looked like a fully pregnant mare. She couldn’t walk anymore as much as she waddled everywhere that she needed to go. Her hooves would hurt if she walked too much, but she needed to walk because it would help her get used to the extra weight.
Twilight and Luna went to the hospital to get an ultrasound done and they realized that their foal was then a colt. The doctor congratulated them as he prescribed Twilight some more medicine in a higher dosage that would help with their son's development.
Month ten, Twilight has all but memorized all of the parenting books. She started to grow nervous at the thought of giving birth. Most of the books she read described it as painful. There was medicine that she could get and would help numb the pain, but Twilight felt like she had taken enough medicine.
Luna could tell Twilight was nervous and she tried to put her at ease,placing her hoof on Twilight’s.
“Don’t worry my love. It might be painful, but it will all be worth it once you hold our son in your arms.”
Twilight smiled as she brought Luna’s hoof to her muzzle and gently kissed it, “You’re right.”
Her friends came to visit her at the castle a few days before the foal shower. By the look on Twilight’s face they could tell that she was nervous, exhausted and sore.
Rarity came up with a brilliant idea. The girls were going to treat Twilight with a trip to the spa and Twilight could finally get a few hours of rest and relaxation.
Luna nodded. She agreed that this spa day would do Twilight some good, and she knew that spending time with her friends would make her happy. She also knew that her friends would keep her and their foal safe.
The offer was extended to Luna for her to join them. Luna shook her head andTwilight looked a little hurt.
“It’s just you don’t get to spend quality time with your friends like you did before. I want you to enjoy this day with them. I will be fine here andcatch up on some reading.” Luna said.
Twilight was still a little hurt but she understood why Luna wanted her to be with her friends. She leaned over and gave her wife a gentle kiss. Her friends waited outside and once Twilight joined them they were off to the spa.
The walk to the spa was a slow one but it gave the girls time to talk.
“So are you excited? You are going to be the first mare ever to give birth to a foal born of two mares.” Rarity said.
Twilight nodded, “I am excited, but not because of that reason. I just can’t wait to be a mother.”
“I am so excited to be an auntie...AGAIN!” Pinkie yelled.
“Just for the record Twi, I think I will be teaching your little one to fly. Nothing against you or Luna, but I am definitely the best flyer in all of Equestria.” Rainbow said.
Fluttershy giggled, “Rainbow don’t forget we have to check in on the babysitter's to see how they are handling Tundra.”
“Babysitter’s? Who did you get?” Twilight asked.
“Who do ya think?” Applejack said.
“The CMC’s of course.” Pinkie said.
“Well if they are up for the challenge, maybe we can have them travel here so they can babysit for me and Luna.” Twilight said.
“You know they would. They will do anything they can to leave ponyville, even if it’s only for a few hours.” Rarity said.
Twilight whined in pain as she felt a huge cramp attack her. She had some cramps before but this one was more severe than the ones before it. The girls all froze.
“Are you alright, Twilight?” Fluttershy whispered.
Twilight nodded, “I just had this really huge cramp that is all. Maybe the foal is hungry.”
“Have ya had these cramps before?” Applejack asked.
“Well, yes. Luna and I just dismissed it as the foal being hungry.” Twilight said.
The girls observed Twilight. Her belly was round and it looked like she was ready to give birth right then and there.
They finally made it to the spa. Twilight took a herbal bath that would help relax her muscles and her hooves, whileRarity relaxed as she slowly slid into the mud bath. Pinkie sat back in the chair as one of the spa ponies started to file her hoof. Applejack and Fluttershy were on beds, laying on their stomachs as they got massages. Rainbow just relaxed on the side reading a Daring Do book.
Every so often Rainbow would look over at the mare messaging Fluttershy and give her a dirty look when she was occupied.
Twilight relaxed as she felt her entire body just take a long, deep, sigh.
“It feels good to have my muscles relax.” Twilight said.
Applejack sighed, “You said it.”
Rarity had the cucumbers covering her eyes. “I agree. I have had this ginormous order that took an entire week to fill.”
“Well Fluttershy and I have had our hooves full. Tundra finally got his little wings going. I have had to collect him from the weather factory twice.” Rainbow said.
Fluttershy giggled, “Then there was that time that we found him caught in the beehive. The bee’s were really nice and forgiving. The queen bee said that she understood, she has millions of children a day.”
“I can barely handle our son. There is no way that I am having a million foals.” Rainbow said.
“Not even if I want more?” Fluttershy asked as she hid her face in her mane.
Rainbow blushed as she hid her face in her book, “I will think about it.”
Everypony laughed. Twilight closed her eyes for just a moment until Rarity let out a bloodcurdling scream.
Twilight opened her eyes and realized all of the girls were staring at her.
“What’s the…” but before Twilight could finish her sentence she looked down at the water.
It was a bright red. She felt her hoof around in it, utterly speechless. The girls all stared, frozen in place like statues.
“This is...blood.”
Luna was flying full speed to the hospital while Twilight was being rushed on a stretcher. Luna was able to get next to the stretcher and be with her wife.
“Twilight! Twilight!” She screamed.
But Twilight’s eyes were closed shut. She wasn’t moving at all and her breathing was weak.
“Twilight!” Luna yelled once more as a nurse pony grabbed her and pulled her away as the rushed Twilight to surgery.
Luna cried as she watched her wife disappear behind those double doors.
Luna and the girls were in the waiting room, the former had her face in her hooves and she was sobbing.
The girls all had her in a group hug as they waited for the doctor to come out and give them news.
It took hours, but finally a doctor emerged, a clipboard held in his hoof.
“Princess Luna,” He called out.
Luna stood and left the girls in their seats as she went up to talk with the doctor.
“Well, Twilight is fine. She has made it through the surgery just fine. We had to give her 4 pints of blood because she had lost so much. That is the good news. Now for the bad news.”
As the doctor continued, Luna immediately lost her composure as she fell to the floor. She was crying in both pain and happiness.
The girls ran up the Luna and collected her as they carried her to her seat.
“Luna what happened?” Pinkie asked.
“Is Twilight okay?” Fluttershy asked.
“Is the foal okay?” Rarity asked.
At the mention of the foal Luna broke into tears again. The girls hugged and comforted Luna as they waited for her to calm down again.
The doctor walked over the group, “If you want, you may see Twilight. She has been moved to her room.”
The doctor led them to the room. The scene before them was absolutely heart shattering.
Twilight was hooked up to many machines. There were IV’s pumping blood into her body while her eyes were barely open.
“Luna?” She called out in a raspy voice as she reached out for her with a shaky hoof.
Luna was next to Twilight’s side, holding her hoof in seconds before speaking softly, “I don’t blame you. It’s not your fault.”
Twilight sniffled, “It is my fault.”
Luna shook her head, but Twilight nodded.
“I lost the foal.”
They held Twilight in the hospital for a few weeks. She was in her bed with IV’s and heart monitors hooked up to her.
Twilight stared at the ceiling, her stare looked blank and empty. Luna worried as she gently squeezed Twilight’s hoof.
Twilight didn’t acknowledge Luna’s existence. She felt nothing, her whole body was numb. She couldn’t move to respond to Luna.
Twilight was screaming in her subconscious. She was fighting these feelings. She wanted to hold Luna. She wanted to be held by Luna. She wanted everything to be alright. She gasped as she felt her stiches on her stomach start to leak.
Luna heard the gasp, even though it sounded weak. She looked up to see Twilight’s blanket had blood on it. She rang for the nurse and the nurse was there immediately within seconds.
The nurse saw the blood and lifted the blanket. She nodded as she walked over to the drawers and started grabbing gauze, tape and disinfectant.
“Now Ms. Sparkle this may sting just a little.” The nurse said.
Twilight didn’t respond. The nurse dabbed a little disinfectant onto the gauze, she looked at Twilight as she placed the gauze over the leaking stitch. Twilight didn’t flinch, she didn’t scream, she only blinked.
Celestia and Discord would often drop by to visit. Their visits were short. Celestia had to cover for Luna and her royal duties.
Twilight sniffled as her eyes began to tear up. Luna gently squeezed her hoof, “What is wrong my love?”
“It’s all my fault.” Twilight croaked, her voice sounded raspy and dry.
“It isn’t you fault.” Luna whispered as she gently wiped Twilight’s tears away. “This was just an unfortunate accident. Nopony is to blame.”
Luna fought back to hold her own tears. Celestia saw this and placed her off on Luna’s shoulder.
Twilight pulled the blanket over her head as she begun to sob.
Luna couldn’t hold it in anymore and she too started to cry.
Celestia gently rubbed Luna’s back. Discord’s head hung low as he tried to hide the tears that were sliding down his own cheeks.
The hospital released Twilight. Luna pushed her wheelchair outside, where there was a surprise waiting for her.
Her friends were all there. They had flowers in their hooves, and out of respect for Twilight, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash left Tundra at home with a babysitter.
Twilight gave a weak smile when she saw her friends. Luna cracked a small smile herself when she saw Twilight’s small smile.
Twilight graciously accepted the flowers, as her friends walked with her and Luna back to the castle.
The girls hugged Twilight and gave her some encouraging words as they started to make their way back to the train station.
Once inside Twilight noticed all of the flowers that now littered the hallways.
“Everypony sent their condolences.” Luna explained as she wheeled Twilight to their bedroom.
Twilight noticed that all of their foal supplies was now missing. She raised her hooves as she covered her eyes and she started to cry again.
Luna gently rubbed her back and she pulled Twilight into a gentle and comforting embrace.
Twilight wrapped her hooves around Luna as she continued to cry. There was one phase that she kept repeating to herself,
“It’s all my fault.”
Luna shook her head as she started to tear up and cry with Twilight, “No it’s not.”
Twilight nodded as she mental said,
“Yes it is.”
The months merged together for Twilight. She felt dead emotionally. Luna resumed her royal duties but, she still made time to check on Twilight and to spend time with her.
Twilight spent most of her days in bed, staring up at the ceiling. She would continually blame herself for the death of their foal.
Luna noticed that Twilight would barely move and that she was eating less and less. Luna was worried about Twilight and she did anything she could to make her wife happy.
Luna was on the verge of emotionally breaking down herself. She walked into the room and noticed that Twilight was eyeballing the balcony and the look in her eye communicated to Luna that she wanted to fling herself over the edge.
Luna made sure to keep a guard or servant in the room to watch Twilight at all times. She had lost one life, she didn’t want to lose another.
Twilight would lay in bed, thinking of ways that she wanted to end it. One night Twilight woke up while Luna was still asleep.
She leaned over and kissed Luna on her forehead.
Twilight slid off of the bed, her body weak and frail. She walked over to the doors that led to the balcony. She reached over and unlocked the doors and gently swung one open.
Luna started to stir and she sat up realizing that her bed was empty. She looked around and was the balcony door was open. Her eyes buldged as she was Twilight climbing onto the railing of the balcony.
“NO! TWILIGHT!” Luna screamed as she jumped out of bed and flew to the balcony. She managed to grab Twilight just as she jumped.
Luna looked Twilight in the eyes, Twilight looked back with her eyes cold and blank. Luna cried as she pulled Twilgiht close and hugged her tight.
“Don’t You Ever Do That Again!” Luna growled, emphasising every word.
Twilight sat perfectly still as tears started to roll down her cheek, “It’s all my fault.”
Luna was worried about her wife and decided the check her back into the hospital. Luna explained to the doctor that Twilight hasn’t been eating and tried to commit suicide.
The doctor nodded, “I expected this. See depression is very natural when one is experiencing lose. We will put her on some anti-depressants and we will hold her here to monitor her mental state.”
Luna nodded as she gently kisses Twilight on her forehead, “I need to get back to work. Please get better my love. I will be back to check on your soon.
The doctor nodded as he gave Luna a reassuring smile, “We will take care of Mrs. Twilight, don’t you worry Princess Luna.”
Luna nodded, she gave the doctor a suspicious look as one clear thought crossed her mind. She turned and walked away.
The doctor took took Twilight to her room and set her up on her medicine and IV’s. Twilight’s subconscious screamed out as she hated the meds. Twilight knew something was wrong but she couldn’t speak.
Her memory starts to wonder back to the worst day in her life.
“The foal has passed on. It didn’t make it.” The doctor said.
“Why not? What causes miscarriage?” Luna asked, curious so that if they would try again they could avoid it.
“Well it can’t really be avoided. It just sort of happens. It is not too common though. Maybe two mares weren’t meant to have a foal together.” He said.
Luna watched as the doctor took care of her wife. She didn’t trust him as far as she could throw him.
“You are doing fine Ms. Sparkle. You body is starting to replenish some of it’s energy.” He said.
Luna walked off and explore. She had this feeling that she just couldn’t shake. She couldn’t help but feel like her foals death was a murder.
Twilight watched the rain outside as nutrients were being pumped into her stomach through the IV’s.
She seemed to be out in space as she had millions of thoughts run through her mind.
She hadn't seen Luna for a few days. Tears started to stream down her eyes as she feared that Luna would want to get a divorce.
“I don’t blame her. I lost our foal. It’s all my fault.” Twilight whispered to herself as she watched the rain fall and gently tap at her window.
For some reason Twilight had the sudden urge to jump out of that window. One part of her was telling her that it is what she should do and the other advised against it.
The doctor came into the room with a smug look on his face as he locked the door behind him.
“So how are we doing today Ms. Sparkle?” He asked.
Twilight just stared at the window, she had heard him speak but she couldn’t bring herself to answer.
“Ahh I see the meds are doing their job. I see you are looking for a quick way out.” The doctor said.
Twilight nodded, she was no longer in control of her actions.
“Remember, it is all your…” Just as he was about to finish the sentence the door was smashed to bits and there stood Nightmare Moon.
The doctor looked over in fear as Nightmare Moon flew over and punched him so hard he flew back and hit the wall.
A nurse came over to examine all the ruckus and screamed as what she had saw. She immediately ran to seek help.
“You dare sabotage our wife’s womb and kill our foal on purpose.” Nightmare Moon yelled.
Twilight looked to Nightmare Moon, “It’s all my fault.”
Nightmare Moon growled as she used her hoof to flatten the doctor's face.
Celestia ran in and yelled, “Luna control it. I know you are broken up about your foal but this isn’t the way to handle it.”
Nightmare Moon turned around with a look of pure anger and malice.
“We had found some evidence to prove that this was a murder and not a miscarriage.” Nightmare Moon said.
Celestia looked confused and Twilight had finally snapped out of her medically induced trance.
“You see for the first few months of our wife’s pregnancy they kept her in the hospital. Gave her a healthy diet and medicine. Medicine that was supposed to help our foal.”
The realization hit both Celestia and Twilight as they looked over at the doctor who was not face down in a pool of his own blood.
“That medicine didn’t help the foal. It stunned the foal's growth. When Twilight’s water was ready to break the foal had not finished growing. Therefore instead of it being a clear sign of going into labor, it instead was the blood of our underdeveloped foal as it was released prematurely.” Nightmare Moon said.
Twilight started to cry. Celestia called for the guards to arrest the doctor.
Nightmare Moon had faded back as she turned into Luna. Luna walked over and hugged Twilight.
Twilight finally spoke.
“It wasn’t my fault.”
The doctor was arrested and a full out investigation occurred. The medicine he was giving Twilight after the miscarriage was shown to have destroyed some of her eggs and part of her ovaries.
The doctor didn’t deny that he did what he did. He spoke out saying that that foal should have never existed. Two mares should have never been married regardless of their social status.
“Just because you are Princesses, doesn't mean you can do whatever the hell you want.” was his exact words.
It would be nearly impossible for Twilight to ever get pregnant again. Luna and Twilight decided that they might as well adopt but they want some time to pass before they actually do.
After this life changing incident Twilight and Luna became more aware of the ponies who surrounded them in their daily life. Needless to say Luna became a little paranoid, Twilight became a lot more paranoid.
The girls would come by to visit still. Their visits were rare but they tried to visit anyway they knew how. Sometimes as a whole group, and other times just maybe one or two.
Rainbow and Fluttershy were very careful of Twilight and Luna’s feelings. They still didn’t bring Tundra to visit until Twilight told them that it would be okay.
Shockingly enough it was. She was able to hold him and play with him without crying.
Tundra had gotten bigger and was now trying to speak. Some words didn’t come out properly though.
“Twimite, Twimite.” He would call her.
As the months passed Luna had started going back to work helping her sister with their royals duties. Twilight wasn’t that far behind.
While getting ready for a meeting Twilight looked at the scar on her stomach. She came to realize that this scar will never go away. Neither will the memory of what happened to their foal.
It will haunt her for the rest of her days, however, she realized that it wasn’t her fault. This was an act of hate towards what she is.
Her character wasn’t being judged, it’s her sexuality that was. She would learn to grow as a princess and show all of those neigh sayers that just because she is into mares, doesn’t mean she is any less of a pony or a princess.
If anything her love and tolerance makes her more.

Chapter 19: Family Vacation?
Twilight slept peacefully, dreaming about her family. Luna gently showered Twilight with kisses; kissing her eyelids, nose, ears, cheeks, and forehead.
Her eyes fluttered as she yawned and stretched. Luna smiled as she gently kissed her lips.
“Good morning my love.” Luna whispered.
“Morning.” Twilight whispered back.
“So what do you way we have a little fun this morning huh?” Luna asked.
“Only if your ‘friend’ gets to join.” Twilight smirked.
Luna smiled and climbed on top of Twilight, “I guess we can invite him.”
Twilight wrapped her hooves around Luna’s neck and gently pulled her down and gently kissed her lips.
Luna smiled as her horn started to glow. Twilight gasped, she reached up and touched Luna’s horn to stop her magic
Luna broke the kiss and looked at Twilight confused, “What is the matter my love?”
“I hear a little pegasus running to our room as we speak,” She said as she gently pushed Luna off.
Luna landed next to her on the bed as she groaned.
Vesper burst through the door and dove onto his mother’s bed.
“Morning mother. Morning mommy.” He yelled as he climbed further up and laid in between his mother's.
Luna smiled as she looked at her son, “Why are you up so early?”
“Because I am excited!” He exclaimed.
“Why?” Twilight asked.
“Because silly mommy, we are going on our vacation today.”
Twilight and Luna shared a look of confusion.
Vesper sat up and frowned, “Did you two forget? You said if I do extra lessons this month that we can go to Winsome Falls.”
Luna glared at Twilight and Twilight blushed, “ I may have mentioned that Tundra, Rainbow and Fluttershy are going and well Vesper may of said that he wanted to go as well.”
Luna continued to glare at Twilight as she continued, “and I may have made a deal with him that if he did extra lessons this month that we will go.”
Luna gave Twilight a look that translated to, ‘You know we are in the middle of a political crisis right now and we can’t just go take a vacation.’
Twilight gave Luna a look that translated to, ‘But I can’t just take back my word.'
Luna sighed as she gently rubbed her temples. "Vesper, we may have to wait on that vacation for a while."
Vesper's expression changed, "Why mom?"
Luna sat up and gently rested her hoof on her son's shoulder, "Ves, you mother and I have a lot of work to do and we really cannot afford to take a vacation at the moment."
Vesper sniffled as he felt like he was going to cry, "But they only do it once a year."
Luna sighed, "There is always next year."
Vesper pouted as he hopped off of the bed and stomped out of the room.
Twilight sighed, "I hate telling him no when he has worked so hard."
Luna hugged Twilight close, "We have to take care of this situation. Maybe you can talk to your friends and ask them if they can push the vacation back to next month. By then we should be finished with our business."
Twilight broke free of Luna's grasp and sat up, "I will send them a letter today. In the meantime we need to get up my love. We have a meeting in about twenty minutes."
Luna nodded as she sat up as well, "I will meet you there, I am going to comfort Vesper."
Luna gently knocked on the door that led to Vesper's room. There was no answer, so she gently pushed the door open.
"Ves?" Luna called out as she poked her head into the room.
Vesper was sitting on his bed, his back turned to the door. Luna walked towards him and gently laid a hoof on his back.
"Vesper, we can still go on the vacation, you just have to be patient." Luna said softly.
Ves turned around to look at his mother, he has tear stains littering his cheeks.
"I just wanted to leave the castle and not have to stay in either Ponyville or Canterlot. Equestria is made up of many more towns and cities, all of which I have yet to explore. Equestria isn't the only realm of our world either. I know I spoke out of line mother, but it is just unfair." Vesper said.
Luna smiled as she held her son close. He was always well spoken when he was upset or when he was arguing. He reminded her so much of herself when she was his age.
"Vessy, what do you say you come with your mother and I to the meeting?" Luna offered
Vesper pulled away from her embrace to look at her face to see if she was serious, "Really?"
Luna nodded, "Of course, you would be able to see what your mother and I handle while we are away"
Vesper nodded, "Okay."
Luna and Twilight led Vesper into the meeting room. He had been in the meeting room before but this time the room was full of ponies.
As Vesper followed his mother's he was being watched by the delegates. Some of them whispered something to one another and that made him feel uncomfortable. Vesper's head hung low as if he tried to hide himself behind his mother's.
Twilight sat down and Luna next to her. Twilight reached down and helped Vesper climb into her lap. Vesper looked over at all of the older delegates who collected around the table.
Celestia entered with Discord trailing behind her. Celestia smiled as she saw Vesper snd Discord ruffled his mane playfully.
Celestia took her seat and the meeting was soon underway. Vesper was soon lost as he listened to the delegates bring up recent problems and then Celestia or one of his mothers would respond.
Vesper felt eyes were almost always on him. He felt very self conscious and yet he was unsure of why he should feel self conscious. His thought began to race as the voices started to fade.
Luna gently tapped Vesper on his back. Vesper snapped out of his trance and looked over at his mother. Luna smiled as she gently ruffled his mane.
The meeting was coming to a close and all of the delegates began to stand up from their chairs.
"Mommy, I'm going to go to the bathroom." Vesper says as he slips off of his mother's lap.
As he walks through the crowd of delegates, he hears some whispering.
"Look it's the adopted cretin."
"I can't believe the two still try to have a foal after what had happened."
"I am surprised the young one isn't embarrassed about having filly foolers for mothers."
Vesper was confused by what he was hearing. He ran to the bathroom at full speed.
Twilight and Luna looked at each other, "He must have really had to go."
Vesper cried as he slammed the bathroom door. He wiped his face as he looked at himself in the mirror.
"Why is it bad that I have two mommy's. Tundra had two mommy's." He whispered as he ran the water and rinsed his face off.
"I am adopted. How come neither of them told me." He asked as he dried his face off.
There was a soft knock at the door, "Vesper, are you okay?"
Vesper sighed as he collected himself and opened the door. Twilight was standing there with a worried expression painted on her face.
Vesper thought for a brief moment if he should tell her about what he heard. He was unsure if he should ask her about being adopted.
Twilight noticed that Vesper has zoned out. She waved her hoof in front of is face to try and grab his attention. Vesper shook his head as he focused on his mother.
"Is something wrong?" Twilight asked as she gently laid her hoof on his shoulder.
Vesper decided that it would be better if he just kept it to himself. "Everything is fine mom, I just really had to use the bathroom."
Twilight could sense there was something more, but she decided not to push him any further. She figured that he may still be upset about the vacation. She placed a gentle kiss on his forehead and led him back to the meeting room.
Discord surprised the young colt by picking him up and holding him upside-down. Vesper laughed as he was swung around.
Celestia, Luna and Twilight smiled as they watched the two play. Vesper looked over at Celestia and concocted an evil idea.
"Hey auntie! Let's go on a vacation!" He yelled.
Luna glared at Vesper and Twilight made hoof gestures to tell him to cut it out.
"Yeah we can go to Winsome Falls. I heard it is beautiful this time of year." Vesper added as Discord set the young colt down.
Celestia thought about it for a minute then she nodded, "I think a vacation would be an excellent idea."
Twilight and Luna both looked at each other in confusion.
"Really?" Luna said.
Vesper pouted as he walked up to Luna. "Mom, you and mommy work all of the time. You barely get a chance to breath you guys need this more than anything."”
Luna frowned at her son. He knew better then to ask another for something he was already told no for.
Twilight shrugged, “I mean if Celestia says it’s alright, then I guess it could be fine. What do you think Luna?”
Luna sighed as she looked at her son’s bright face, “Fine.”
Vesper cheered and flew around the room in excitement. Discord summoned an oversized baseball mitt and caught the young colt.
Celestia smiled as Discord returned the colt to his parents.
“Well we better pack.” She said.
Vesper was still in trouble and Luna scolded him for what he had did in the conference room.
Vesper sat down and received his scolding, the whole time he couldn’t shake the thoughts of him being adopted. He even begun to wonder why he listens to his “parents.”
Luna gently patted his head as she told him to pack his bag.
Vesper nodded as he did what he was told.
Luna joined Twilight in their room. Twilight was finishing up the last of the packing and she organized their bags by size and lined them up at the door.
“Twilight, is is just me or does Ves seem like his mind is off somewhere?” Luna asked.
Twilight nodded, “Yeah a little, why do you ask?”
“Because while I was scolding him, he seemed blank.” Luna said.
Twilight looked down the hallway at her son’s bedroom door, “I wonder what happened.”
Soon the carts were loaded and the family was on their way. Celestia and Discord in one. Vesper, Twilight, and Luna in the other.
Vesper stuck his head out of the window as they flew. Luna smiled as she watch him. Twilight was leaning against Luna softly snoring. Luna gently stroked Twilight’s mane.
Vesper looked down and watched the landscape pass by. He observed every detail that he could see, from the shape of the mountains, to the fillies playing jump rope.
Some ponies would look at the carts as they flew by and would wave. Vesper would wave back.
“Mom, ponies are saying hi to me.” He said as he turned and looked at Luna for a brief moment before turning his attention back to the window.
“They must really like you.” Luna nodded as she continued to take care of Twilight while she slept.
The carts came to a soft thud at the base of Winsome Falls. Vesper jumped out of the cart without hesitation.
The soft thud woke Twilight. Luna smiled as she leaned over and gently kissed the sleepy alicorn.
“We are here my love. How was your nap?” Luna asked as she continued to stroke her mane.
Twilight yawned and stretched, pushing Luna back a little. Once she finished her stretch she pulled Luna close to her.
“I did enjoy my nap, where is my son?” Twilight asked.
Luna and Twilight heard a loud playful childlike scream from outside the cart.
“I think we found him.” Luna chuckled as she stood up and helped Twilight out of the cart.
Vesper and Tundra were chasing each other around. Luna and Twilight were immediately greeted by Fluttershy and Rainbow.
“Hello Luna and Twilight, I see you guys decided to come after all.” Fluttershy whispered gently.
“We were going to send a reply to your letter, but then we received another stating that you guys were coming.” Rainbow said.
Luna looked at Twilight, “You sent them another letter?”
Twilight shook her head and they both looked at Vesper. He froze in place when he felt their eyes were looking at him. He looked at his mothers and saw the look they were giving him. He chuckled nervously as he flapped his little wings and took off.
Luna chased after him, “Oh no you don’t you little troublemaker.”
Luna caught him by his tail and pulled him into her. She held him in her arm as she ruffled his mane.
“You had this planned didn’t you?” She asked as she continued to ruffle his mane.
“Ahh!! Mommy Help!” Ves screamed down to Twilight.
Twilight continued to talk to Rainbow and Fluttershy and acted as if she didn’t hear him.
“Admit to your crimes!” Luna playfully screamed.
“I give I give! I Admit It! I Am A Criminal!” Ves screamed as Luna finally let him go.
He looked like he just woke up, his mane was sticking up at all ends. Vesper pouted as he smoothed his mane down.
Luna smiled as she gently kisses Vesper on his forehead.
Vesper hugged his mother’s maul, “I am sorry mother, I just wanted to get out of the castle without the added need of guards breathing down my neck.”
Luna gently patted his head, “I know Ves, believe me I do. Next time your mother and I will plan a vacation ahead of time instead of having it be a spontaneous promise. We will even let you pick the venue, Deal?”
Ves nodded, “Deal.”
Vesper fell to the floor hard as he face was smashed into the sand. Tundra was laughing as he stood on Vesper’s back.
“I am the best ninja!” He yelled.
Vesper pushed him off and spitted some sand out as he ran after Tundra. Tundra taunted him as he ran off. Vesper flapped his wings a little trying to catch up to him.
Luna chuckled as she made her way over to Twilight, Rainbow and Fluttershy.
The families talked and shared stories as they sat around the campfire. Vesper and Tundra both yawned as the sky darkened.
Luna wondered away from the group as she went to raise the moon. Vesper followed behind her and he watched her as she raised the moon.
“That is so cool.” Vesper said.
Luna jumped and turned around, “Don’t do that Ves, you frightened me.”
“Sorry mother, I wanted to see where you had went.” Ves said.
Luna sighed as her heartbeat returned to normal. She wrapped her hoof around Ves.
“Mother, I won’t be able to raise the moon will I?” Ves asked.
Luna looked down at him with a shocked face. She sighed, “No my dear, you won’t.”
“So..why am I the prince then? And how come I don’t look like you or mommy?” Ves asked as he backed away from Luna.
Luna stumbled over her thoughts as she tried to find something to say.
Vesper’s mind was racing, all of the thoughts being jumbled as he heard voices in his head, repeating what he had heard at the meeting.
“Am I adopted?” Ves asked.
Luna’s inner mind shattered. She just stood there staring at Vesper. Vesper was on the verge of tears and he searched her face to see if he can find any sign in her expression that said it wasn’t true.
Vesper let the tears fall when he realized there wasn’t any. He wiped his face as he turned away from her and whispered,
“That is what I thought.”
He ran off at full speed into the forest. Luna still stood there dumbfounded. She didn’t know what happened, she didn’t know where that came from. All she knew was that he wasn’t supposed to know about that until he was older.
Vesper sighed as he slowed down, the pain from his lungs and his legs begging him to stop. He was now as a walking speed. He was still crying as he continued to walk on. He didn’t care about his direction, or his destination.
“I knew it. Somewhere deep down, I knew it was all a lie.”
Chapter 20: Accepting the Truth
Vesper continued to walk on as his thoughts ran. He felt the full weight of the world crashing down on his small body as everything he knew, or thought he knew was a lie.
Somewhere deep down in his heart he knew that he never truly belonged. He doesn’t really resemble his mother’s. Thinking deeper he realizes that two mares having a foal is pretty much impossible.
Then he starts to think about Tundra, is he adopted as well? Next to being pegasi, they both have that in common.
Vesper hears a rustling in the bushes but he doesn’t care as he continues to walk. He stares at the ground as more questions flood his mind.
Why wasn’t he good enough to be with his real parents? Why would they toss him aside? Did they hate him? Did they try to throw him away? Would he have been better off?
As he walked along a few pairs of glowing eyes followed him as he advanced deeper into the forest.
Luna ran back to the campground. Twilight was sitting down next to Rainbow and Fluttershy. Fluttershy was laying on her stomach with Tundra curled up in her hooves. Twilight jumped up, looking worried as she was Luna’s frightened expression.
“Vesper….g...gone.” Luna gasped, trying to catch her breath.
Twilight advanced towards Luna as she asked in a worried and confused tone, “Gone? What do you mean gone? Where is my son?”
Luna took a deep breath, “He followed me out to the forest and watched me raise the moon. He asked if he would ever be able to do that, and then proceeded to ask me if he was adopted.”
Twilight’s eyes widened, “He...what?
Luna nodded.
Rainbow and Fluttershy looked at each other, and Tundra looked up at both of them.
“What did you say?” Twilight asked as she advanced even closer to Luna.
Luna opened her mouth, then closed it, opened it again as she admitted, “I froze”
“What!” Twilight yelled.
“I wasn’t prepared for that, what was I supposed to say. I was not going to lie to our son.” Luna said.
“We agreed that we would tell him when he was older. He is only six, there is no way he would be able to handle this!” Twilight yelled.
Luna growled, “You act like this is my fault Twilight! I know what we agreed on when we adopted him, I was there! I didn’t do this, he came to me with this!”
Twilight yelled, “You shouldn’t have froze!”
Luna yelled back as she got in Twilight's face, “Oh and like you would not have!”
They were nose and nose both fueled by their anger. Rainbow and Fluttershy decided to step in before things got out of hoof.
“Alright Luna calm down.” Rainbow said as she pushed Luna back.
“You too Twilight” Fluttershy said as both her and Tundra pulled Twilight back.
Twilight sighed as she calmed, “I’m sorry Luna.”
Luna rubbed her forehead, “So am I, my love.”
“What is important is that we find that little bugger” Rainbow said.
Fluttershy nodded. Tundra nodded too.
Twilight smiled at her friends, “Thank you so very much.”
Luna nodded, “Shall we form teams?”
Rainbow nodded, “I will head Solo, Twilight and Luna you two are together. Fluttershy and Tundra you are together.”
“But Rainbow…” Fluttershy started.
Rainbow shook her head, “I know what you are going to say Flutters but there is no time. If I go alone I can cover more ground.”
Luna nodded, “She is the faster than all of us.”
Fluttershy nodded as she looked at Tundra, “Let’s go little one.”
Tundra nodded as he ran behind his mother.
Dash took to the skies and flew off.
Twilight and Luna ran into the forest.
The words kept pouring into Vesper. He is adopted. The memory of that pony saying it kept repeating in his head. He screamed as he hit his head into the sand.
“I hate this, I hate this so much. Why am I adopted!” Vesper asked as he raised his head from the ground. He looked down at the mark his face made and he grew more and more angry as he slammed his hooves into the ground.
“Was I never good enough! Was I a mistake! You never wanted me did you! You...You AHH!” He screamed as he hit the ground so hard. He panted as he looked down at the hole he created, tears started to stream down his face.
There was a rustling in the bushes behind him. Vesper didn’t care he kept his back turned.
“I knew I heard you over here.” Tundra said as he ran up to his cousin.
“Tundra?” Fluttershy called.
“He is over here mom!” Tundra yelled back.
Vesper cried as he ignored his cousin and auntie.
Tundra gently placed a hoof on his back, “You wanna talk about it.”
Fluttershy emerged from the bushes, but she kept her distance as she smiled at the two.
“It’s all a lie, my life is a lie.” Vesper cried.
Tundra sighed, “No it’s not, you are just thinking that way because you are adopted.”
Vesper turned around quick, “And how do you know you aren’t?”
Tundra shrugged, “Well I don’t know, and I don’t really care.”
Vesper shook his head, “You don’t care that your real parents threw you away?”
Tundra sighed, “What real parents? Those are my real parents.”
Vesper screamed, “No they are not. They just grabbed you and took you home like a little lost puppy.”
Tundra shook his head, “You are wrong. Look Ves, those are my real parents. They feed me, take me to school, give me a warm home and a hug, they love me with all their hearts, and would do anything to protect me. Those are my parents. I may not have been born from them but that doesn’t mean they aren’t my parents.”
Vesper wiped his face and looked up at his cousin, “But…”
Tundra shook his head, “How do you know your birth parents threw you away. Maybe they did this so you could have a better future. Maybe deep down in their hearts, they knew you would be better off with somepony else.”
Vesper’s eyes widened as he listened.
“So don’t be mad at Auntie Twilight and Auntie Luna. They may not have given birth to you, but they are you real parents. Being adopted isn’t so bad now right?” Tundra asked.
Vesper shook his head, “No it’s not.”
Vesper thought back on all the memories he has had with his mother's. He remembers the good and the bad. Through thick or thin they had loved him and still do.
Vesper stood up and hugged his cousin. Fluttershy smiled, she was proud of her son.
“Thank you Tu…”
There was a low growl emerging from the bushes. The two froze and looked around as many pairs of glowing eyes targeted them.
Fluttershy gasped as the Timberwolves emerged from the bushes. There was only three and they slowly advanced towards the two colts. Tundra jumped in front of his cousin. Vesper jumped in front of him.
“Leave him alone you jerks!” Tundra yelled.
“No you Leave him alone!” Vesper growled.
Fluttershy ran and jumped in front of both of them. She growled at the Timberwolves.
“Stay away from both of them.”
The wolves barked at Fluttershy. She held her ground as she slowly pushed the boy's back with her hoof.
She stared the Timberwolves down, they stared back at her. Fluttershy continued to stare and the wolves started to back away. Fluttershy stared them down harder and they continues to back away until they disappeared into the bushes.
Fluttershy sighed as she turned and looked at the colts, “Are you boys alright?”
They both nodded and Tundra ran and glomped his mother.
“That was amazing mom, you have to teach me that.” Tundra said.
Fluttershy chuckled, “Don’t know it I know how…”
Rainbow landed next to Fluttershy, “That’s what all the commotion was about.”
Vesper looked around, “Where are my mother’s?”
Rainbow patted his head, “Don’t worry kiddo, they are on their way.”
Not even second later Twilight and Luna emerged from the bushes.
Twilight and Luna looked at Vesper but they kept their distance, unsure if they would upset him enough to run off again.
Vesper smiled as he shivered and ran up to his parents. He hugged them both as he cried.
Twilight and Luna hugged him back, making a little family cocoon.
“You both are my real parents. Doesn’t matter where I came from I am your son.” He hugged them tighter, “And you are my mothers.”
Twilight sniffled as she wiped a tear that fell down her cheek. Luna did the same.
Rainbow, Tundra and Fluttershy just smiled as they watched the three hug it out.
“Let us go back to camp. It has been a busy night.” Luna said finally breaking the hug.
Vesper nodded as he climbed onto his mother's back. Luna smiled as she nuzzled him. Twilight smiled as she nuzzled him as well.
Vesper cuddled into Luna’s mane as the group made their way back.
Fluttershy gently laid Tundra down as she finished singing her lullaby.
Rainbow covered him up with a blanket. She looked over and saw Twilight holding Vesper as they slept.
Luna smiled as she watched them sleep, “I am the luckiest mare in the world. I have a beautiful wife and an amazing son. What more could I ask for?”
Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy smiled as they laid down next to Tundra. They soon drifted off to sleep, leaving Luna alone with her thoughts.
Luna looked back on her life and smiled as she realized that tonight Vesper accepted that he was adopted.
She sighed as she laid down next to her wife and son. One big happy family together again. No one would ever be able to tear them apart.
Luna used her wings to blow out the fire before she slowly drifted off to sleep.

This is not the end of the story. I know it looked like I set it up for that but it is not. That is just the way I write.
Chapter 21: Anniversary
Luna, Twilight and Vesper got off of their carriage and made their way to the castle doors. Vesper was yawning as he placed his hoof over his mouth to cover it.
Luna smiled as she patted his head, “Someone needs a nap.”
Ves pouted, “I don’t want to nap.”
Twilight giggled as she picked her son up and placed him on her back, “You’re going to take a nap mister.”
Ves whined, “But mom, I don’t want to!”
Luna frowned, “A growing Colt needs his rest.”
Ves pouted, “Fine.”
Twilight smiled as she walked ahead with Ves latched onto her back. Luna watched her walk and she smiled.
“I am truly lucky.”
Twilight finished tucking Vesper in. Luna walked up behind her to see that Vesper was already deep in sleep.
Luna sighed as she smiled and gently kissed Twilight on her cheek.
“He looks like a little angel when he is asleep.” Twilight whispered.
Luna nodded, “Yeah, in that sense he reminds me of his mother.”
Twilight blushed and put a hoof to her mouth making the ‘Shh’ expression as they backed out of the room and gently closed the door.
Twilight and Luna trotted to their own room.
“Amazing.” Luna stated.
“What?” Twilight asked looking at her wife confused.
“That even after all of these years of being married, I can still make you blush.” Luna said
Twilight smiled as she blushed again.
Twilight entered their room with Luna following close behind. Luna quietly shut the door and locked it.
Twilight sighed as she made her way to the bathroom. She rinsed off her face and looked up in the mirror to see Luna behind her.
“One pony at a time please.” She giggled.
Luna smiled as she leaned down and licked Twilight’s neck.
Twilight’s entire face brightened into a nice shade or maroon as she looked at Luna.
“L...Luna?”
“You haven’t forgotten what tomorrow is right?” Luna asked.
“Of course I haven’t, it’s our anniversary.” Twilight said.
“I was thinking we could go back to the lake house.” Luna whispered as she started to leave a trail of kisses all over Twilight’s neck
“Why so, we could always make love here?” Twilight asked already knowing the real reason but wanting to hear Luna say it anyway.
“Because here I have a handicap. Don’t get me wrong I love our son, but with him around I don’t get to hear that lovely scream you always do when I push you over the edge.” Luna purred gently.
Twilight blushed even brighter, her blush reaching her neck as she turned her head and kisses Luna.
Luna kissed back sticking her tongue into Twilight’s mouth. Twilight responded with a gentle moan.
Luna broke the kiss, a string of spit connecting their mouths. Luna licked her lips to break it as she looked deep into Twilight’s eyes.
“We start packing tonight and we will talk to Vesper about it at dinner time. I believe Celestia wouldn’t mind watching him.” Luna said as she left the bathroom.
Twilight sighed as she reached up and touched her lips. She smiled to herself in the mirror as she looked up at her horn.
She saw her wedding ring firmly attached to the base and she whispered, “I can’t believe it has been almost 7 years.”
Vesper was sitting between his Twilight and Discord. Vesper and Discord was playing with their food.
Twilight cleared her throat as she looked at Ves. He stopped playing and started to eat his food. Celestia gave Discord a look.
“Oh come on dear, I was just playing with him.” Discord said.
Celestia smiled, “Do you want to tell them the good news or should I?”
Discord nodded, “I will tell them.”
He tapped the table and the food on his plate made its way to the middle of the table. The pieces formed a picture.
Luna and Twilight gasped as they saw the food form a baby bottle. Vesper looked confused.
“What does it mean?” Ves asked.
“You are going to have a little cousin Ves.” Celestia smiled.
“Really!? YAY!?” Ves cheered.
Celestia and Discord chuckled as Ves cheered.
Luna cleared her throat as she looked at Celestia, “Sis I wanted to ask a favor of you.”
Celestia turned her attention to Luna, “Yes?”
“Would you be willing to watch Vesper tomorrow.” Luna reached over and gently grabbed Twilight’s hoof, “It is our 7 year anniversary tomorrow and we would like to be alone.”
Vesper looked at his mothers with a hurt expression, “Why mommy.”
Luna got out of her chair and walked over to Vesper. She bent down to his level as she gently patted his head.
“See Vesper your mother and I love you so very much, but sometimes her and I need to be alone. You may not understand now, but you will when you are older.” Luna said.
Vesper still looked a little down.
Luna smiled as she looked at Discord. “Who knows maybe Discord will make it rain tomorrow night.”
Vesper brightened up and looked at Discord, “Really Uncle?” He asked.
Discord nodded, “Of course, while mean ole Auntie Tia is asleep. We will reign in chaos.”
Celestia gave him another look and Discord stuck his tongue out at her.
They finished dinner and soon Twilight was reading a story to Vesper to help him all asleep.
Vesper pulled the covers closer as his eyelids grew heavy.
“Daring Do flew off into the distance with the treasure in hand. Another mission completed.” Twilight finished as she closed the book.
Soft snores erupted from Vesper’s little chest. Twilight smiled as she gently leaned over and kissed his forehead.
“Good night my little prince.” She whispered as she gently closed the door behind her as she left.
Twilight made her way back to their room and she realized that Luna was already packing for their short getaway.
Twilight sat on the bed and watched Luna work.
“You aren’t going to help me?” Luna asked.
Twilight shook her head as she used her magic to close and lock the door.
Luna looked at her, then the door, then back to Twilight.
“Luna why don’t we start our anniversary a little early huh?” Twilight smirked as she winked.
Luna’s eyes widened as she smirked a little herself.
“So how would you like it my love?” Luna asked as she climbed onto the bed.
Twilight laid down as Luna climbed on top of her and started kissing her.
Twilight grabbed a scroll and showed Luna. Luna blushed as she broke the kiss.
“Where did you….” Luna asked.
“I found it in your stash. Maybe you could use this on me tonight.” Twilight asked.
Luna smirked as her horn glowed, “As you wish my love.”
The next morning Twilight and Luna were awoken by the sound of knocking on their door.
“Mom, mother, why did you lock your door?” Vesper asked from the other side.
Luna yawned and groaned as Twilight used her magic to unlock the door. Vesper ran in and jumped onto the bed.
“Morning mommy’s.” Vesper yelled as he continued to jump on their bed.
Luna growled as she reached over and grabbed her son. She slammed him onto the bed and started tickling his abdomen.
Vesper broke out into uncontrollable laughter, “Haha! Why mom! Why!”
“Because you attacked us. I am defending your mother against this little attacker.” Luna said as she continued to tickle him.
“Mommy help me!” Vesper cried out as he reached out for Twilight.
Luna glared at Twilight as Twilight reached out and for her son. She pulled him out of Luna’s grasp and Luna growled.
“We are safe now Ves.” Twilight said as she backed away from Luna smiling.
Vesper was getting over his laughing fit when Luna glomped both of them. She started tickling both Twilight and Vesper together. Twilight broke out into laughter as Vesper joined her. Luna laughed with her family. Vesper gained enough strength and started tickling Luna back.
Luna fell back and starting laughing as Twilight joined Vesper and the two double teamed her. Eventually they let up and all cuddled into a group hug.
“I love you mommy’s.” Vesper said.
“We love you two.” They said in unison as they both kissed his forehead.
Vesper got up and ran to the door, “Are you guys going to have breakfast before you go?”
Twilight nodded as she sat up, “Just give us a moment okay?”
Vesper nodded, “Okay.” He closed the door behind him as he left the room.
Twilight laid back down and cuddled into Luna as she gently kissed her chin. Luna sighed. Twilight sat up and looked at her.
“Is everything alright Luna?” She asked.
Luna nodded as she pulled Twilight into a soft and gentle kiss. “Everything is perfect. My wife, my son, my life...our life. This is better than a dream. This is reality and I just feel so blessed.”
Twilight smiled as she placed a gentle hoof on Luna’s cheek. Luna placed her hoof on top of Twilight’s. They laid there in silence for several minutes before Twilight sat up and pulled Luna up with her.
“Let’s go get some breakfast before our son thinks we have disappeared.” Twilight said.
Once breakfast was done the two made their way to the entrance where their carriage was waiting.
Vesper followed behind with Celestia and Discord. Luna and Twilight turned around and gave their son one last hug before they boarded the carriage and it was off.
Twilight rested her head on Luna’s shoulder as they flew.
“Twilight, why did you fall in love with me?” Luna asked.
Twilight looked up at Luna with a worried expression.
“It’s just that, I have done so much bad in my life that I really don’t deserve what I have. I haven’t done enough good to make up for what I have done.” Luna sighed.
Twilight kissed her gently, “Please don’t dwell on your past my love. I know you feel horrible but never say you don’t deserve what you have.”
Twilight grabbed Luna’s face in her hooves and she looked deep into her eyes, “I see you, the real you. You weren’t bad just to be bad, you anger was justified. How you dealt with that maybe wasn’t the healthiest way but you can’t punish yourself for having emotions.”
Luna smiled as she pulled Twilight into a hug.
“Thank you.”
Twilight and Luna entered the lake house. Twilight took a deep breath, “Smells like love.”
Luna smiled, “Oh does it now.”
Twilight smiled as she flicked her tail. Luna growled, “Don’t you tease me woman.”
Twilight walking into the bedroom and closed the door. Luna stood there confused as she heard a click. She walked over to the door and tried to open it.
“Twilight why did you lock the door?” Luna asked.
Twilight’s giggle could be heard from the other side, “You will just have to wait and see.”
Luna growled as she continued to hear Twilight giggle. The door slowly creaks open and Luna peeks in. Her eyes widen as her wings immediately snap open violently, a few feathers falling off.
Twilight was laying on the bed wearing socks, her flower glistening in the light, her own wing open. The tip of her right wing tracing the outline of her body as she looks at Luna with bedroom eyes.
“Are you just going to stare at me, or are you going to come over here and punish me?” Twilight asked, her tone thick and heavy with underlying sexual desire.
Luna kicks the door closed as she stalks over to the bed. Her horn glows as she casts a spell on her marehood. A protruding limb then appears, at first it is limp but then it stand up, erect and throbbing at full length.
Twilight licked her lips and Luna growled as she climbed over Twilight.
Twilight sat up and bit Luna’s ear as she whispered, “Take me.”
Twilight moaned as she was pinned to the bed. Luna took her time as she marked up Twilight’s neck. With each thrust of Luna’s hips, Twilight had a moan to match it.
Luna moaned with her lover as Twilight begged for speed. Twilight begged for strength, which Luna happily agreed. The headboard was pounding against the wall. Twilight’s moans raised in volume and consistency. Luna matched Twilight’s moans as she grabs onto the headboard.
Luna pulled herself forward as she pounded Twilight. Twilight screamed out not being able to contain herself.
“Luna! Ahh...I can’t...t...t...take it…..I’m going to...Ahh!” Twilight moaned out as a huge wave of pleasure rolls over her as Luna smashed her hips into her.
Luna leaned down and whispered into Twilight’s ear. “Cum...ahh my love...Cum for me. Scream my name t….t...to the heavens.” She then bit her ear.
Twilight shivered and until finally she screamed as loud as she could. She obeyed her wife as she screamed her name to the heavens. Luna wasn’t that far behind. She pumped a few more times before she unloaded her warm seed into Twilight’s womb. Both horns glowed with little sparks of magic.
Luna gently laid on top of her wife as she kissed her deeply. She did not yet remove herself from the warmth of Twilight’s marehood.
Twilight struggled to catch her breath, she barely got out “Wow…”
Luna was catching her breath as well and she chuckled at Twilight’s response, “Are you satisfied my love?”
Twilight nodded, “Yes. We haven’t made love like that since our honeymoon.”
Luna nodded, “I didn’t know I had all of that stamina.”
Twilight giggled, “I didn’t know you had that strength.”
Luna smiled as she rolled them over to where she was on the bottom.
“Want a ride, cowgirl?” Luna winked as she stood at full attention.
Twilight blushed as she marveled at the size. “Hard to believe that fits in me.”
Luna smirked, “Why not see if it works on the other hole my love?”
Twilight blushed and whispered, “Okay.” As she got into position.
After three to four rounds both Luna and Twilight decided to call it a night. Luna pulled the covers over both of them as she held Twilight in her arms.
Her wings surrounded both of them protectively as the drifted off into the abyss of sleep.
There wasn’t an ounce of doubt, they would love each other uncontrollably and unconditionally.
That night Vesper watched the sky as the stars danced in a different sort of way.
“Mommy’s are happy.”

Chapter 22: A Beautiful Return
Twilight and Luna returned to the castle. They were both shinning bright from the afterglow of their trip.
Vesper was the first to greet them. He glomped them both as they entered the door.
“I missed you mothers, did you enjoy your trip?” He asked
Luna smiled as she ruffled his mane, “Yes we did little one. Did you behave while we were away?”
Vesper nodded, “We had lots of fun. Auntie Celestia let me sit into another meeting.”
Twilight smiled, “Did she now?”
Vesper nodded again, “Yes and one of the delegates brought me a lollipop, another brought me some crayons and paper.”
Luna brightened up as she picked Vesper up and set him on her back. Twilight and Luna walked down the hall looking for Celestia.
Vesper pointed to the kitchen as if he knew who his mother was looking for.
Luna and Twilight walked in and saw Celestia eating a piece of red velvet cake. Discord was sitting next to her, he was gently rubbing her stomach.
Twilight gasped, “We have only been gone a day, and you have a pudge already.”
Ves looked confused, “Is that bad mommy?”
Luna shook her head, “No it isn’t, it is just a little out of the ordinary.”
Discord responded, “I can’t help it if my child doesn’t want to follow the rules.”
Celestia chuckled, “It’s alright sister, I figured something like this might happen.”
Luna walked over to Celestia and hugged her, “When are you due sister?”
“In three months.”
“That is impossible.” Twilight gasped.
“Remember Twilight, she is giving birth to a little tangle of chaos.” Luna giggled.
Discord growled, “Hey that is my little mess of chaos in there. That is my little troublemaking DJ.”
“DJ?” Vesper asked.
“Why yes, it stands for Discord Jr.” Discord said as he picked up Vesper and tickled him.
Celestia pouted, “How are you so certain it will be a boy?”
Discord gently grabbed her chin, “My love, I just know. I can feel our little bundle being a boy.”
Celestia raised her eyebrow as she shook her head and turned to look at Luna and Twilight, “How was the trip?”
Luna smirked as Twilight. Twilight looked down with a blush.
“Just what we needed.”
Celestia nodded as she wiped her mouth, “That is good. I am glad you two enjoyed yourself. However, I am going to need to see Luna privately in my study. I have something I need to go over with you.”
Luna nodded. Celestia stood up and trotted out of the room. Discord gently set Vesper down on the ground next to Luna as he turned and followed Celestia.
Twilight walked over to Luna, “What do you think she wants to talk about my love?”
Luna shook her head, “I don’t know, but she had that tone in her voice. That regal tone, it must me something important.”
“Can I come mother, can I?” Vesper asked smiling at Luna.
Luna nudged him, pushing him a little closer to Twilight, “I’m sorry son, but I feel this matter is too great for you. Why don’t you go play with mommy for a little while.”
Vesper’s ears drooped, “Oh...okay.” He whispered as he shuffled over to Twilight.
Luna turned and walked out of the room.
Twilight looked down at her son, he looked down at the ground. Her ears perked up with an idea. “Ves why don’t we go take a walk in the garden?”
Ves didn’t budge.
Twilight brightened with another idea, “We could go for a flight.”
Vesper’s wings snapped open in excitement as he smiled up at Twilight, “Let’s Go! Let’s Go!”
Vesper ran out of the room and Twilight wasn’t far behind him.
They were flying around Canterlot. Vesper was ahead of Twilight.
“Ves stay with me.” She ordered.
Vesper slowed down a little and waited for Twilight to catch up.
Vesper giggled as he threw a cloud at Twilight. Twilight dodged it and used her magic to hurl one at him. He kicked it back and hit her.
Vesper covered his mouth as he noticed the cloud got stuck on her horn. Twilight shook her head and growled playfully as she chased him around the sky.
Vesper dove into a cloud to hide. Twilight popped her head into the cloud and grabbed him, tickling him.
Vesper laughed. Once the two calmed down he looked at his mother seriously.
“Mom, I feel well average. I don’t know if I will make a good prince.” Ves said looking down a little.
Twilight nuzzled him, “I know that fear Vesper. I had that same fear when Celestia gave me my wings. I still think that way, but it isn’t often. You have to believe in yourself.”
“But mom, those are some pretty big shoes to fill. I just...what if I mess up. I don’t magic.” He said.
Twilight chuckled, “You don’t have to have magic to make a change Ves. You have to have heart.” She gently tapped his chest. “And I know you have a big heart.”
“You really think so? I mean I am adopted after all.” He pointed out.
Twilight shook her head, “It doesn’t matter where you come from Ves, what matters is where you are going. I know for certain you are a great prince.”
Vesper smiled and hugged his mother’s muzzle.
“Mother can you show me your magic?” Ves asked
Twilight nodded as they landed they flew, Twilight shaped clouds in the forms of ponies. Vesper followed her as she flew low and grabbed water with her hooves. She threw the water particles into the air and shined the light from her horn on them to form a rainbow.
“Whoa.” He smiled.
Twilight and Ves landed and she looked at him and smiled as her horn glowed. She slammed her hooves onto the ground and knocked down a good amount of leaves off of the trees.
Ves followed Twilight as they walked into town. She used basic levitation spells to help some ponies with heavy loads. She helped some ponies talk out their problems and rebuild their friendships.
Ves looked over and saw a small filly and her friend arguing. He walked over and helped them. He made them talk it out instead of yelling and soon they were hugging.
Ves flew over to his mom and hugged him.
“I told you.” She said.
Ves looked down and saw ponies running. He tapped Twilight’s shoulder and pointed. “What is that mom?”
“That is the running of the leaves. That is when ponies help knock down all of the leaves to prepare for winter.” She responded.
“Can we help?” He asked.
“Of course”
Twilight and Ves turned around to see Luna. Ves flew over to her and hugged her. “Hey mother. Bet I am faster than you.”
Luna looked down at her son and raised her eyebrow, “Oh you think so?”
Ves nodded looking determined.
“Well then…” Luna smiled at Twilight, “Let us go.”
They landed on the ground. The new run was seconds from starting.
“So you think you are faster?” Luna asked.
Ves nodded, “Yes”
“And what makes you think that?” She asked.
“Because I am younger, and I have more energy.” He said.
“Well maybe I am faster mister.” Luna chuckled as she booped his nose.
“Only on way to find out.” Twilight said as the whistle was blown.
The ponies all took off running, everyone kept a moderate pace except for Luna and Ves. They were ahead of the pack.
Luna has a bit of an edge as she sped up. Ves looked ahead and growled as he pushed his little legs to go faster. He was taking deep breaths as he started to gain on her.
Luna gasped as she saw Vesper slowly pass her. He didn’t slow either, he continued to push himself harder and harder as he started to sweat. He keep both wings closed tightly at his sides. He smiled as the running became easier. He looked back and realized that he could barely see his parents or the pack. He shouted happily as he continued to run.
He gave it everything he had as he shook his head enjoying the feeling of the wind in his mane.
Rainbow and Tundra were flying overhead. The looked down and their eyes widened at what they say. Vesper looked up and smiled as he continued to run. He jumped over a log with ease and duck under a branch.
Tundra caught up to him overhead and cheered him on. “Go Vesper!”
Vesper laughed and cheered as he pushed himself harder. A light aura started to surround his body as he advanced further. With every step he felt lighter and lighter. He saw the finish line. He ran right through it and continued on. The ponies where confused on why he didn’t stop.
Vesper kept running. Rainbow caught up and grabbed a fluffy cloud. She held it in front of him to stop him. Vesper ran right through it.
“Whoa, that colt has no brakes.” Rainbow said.
Vesper eventually did wear himself out. He slowed down and eventually stopped. He panted as he turned and saw his mother's flying towards him.
“I guess I won.” He panted as they landed.
“Vesper why didn’t you stop?” Luna asked.
“I didn’t want to. Running felt good.” He panted.
“Sweetie, you could have gotten hurt, or you could have hurt somepony else.” Twilight said.
“Sorry mother.” Vesper said finally catching his breath.
They both smiled as they walked up to him and hugged him.
“Let’s go home, somepony needs a bath.” Luna said.
Ves nodded as he looked down at his dirty coat.
Later on that night Twilight read Vesper a story as he was drifting off to sleep. He pulled his covers close as he yawned and fell asleep.
Luna smiled as she watched from the threshold.
Once Twilight was sure he was asleep she put a bookmark into the book and placed it on the bookshelf. She slowly tiptoed out of his room. Luna gently pulled the door closed, leaving just a small crack open.
Twilight and Luna collapsed onto their bed.
“So I need to go on a trip with Celestia. We have to travel to Saddle Arabia for a while. We have to help them patch up a misunderstanding with their neighbors.” Luna said.
Twilight looked at Luna with a sad look, “When will you be back my love?”
Luna gently kissed Twilight’s forehead, “I am not sure. But I will make sure to write to you everyday.”
Twilight nodded.
“We are going to have you and Discord in charge of things here.” Luna said.
Twilight shook her head as she sat up, “What if I make a mess of everything?”
Luna sat up and gently rested her hoof on Twilight’s cheek, “You aren’t my love. I know you will do a fantastic job.”
Twilight sighed, “Well I will try. I promise you that Luna.”
Luna nuzzled into Twilight, “That’s my girl.”
They both laid down. Luna pulled Twilight close, and Twilight buried her head into Luna’s chest. They both closed their eyes and started to drift off to sleep.
Their door slowly cracked open as Vesper walked in.
He climbed onto their bed and looked at his mothers.
Twilight and Luna both opened their eyes and scooted away from each other, giving him a spot between them. Vesper climbed into that spot he smiled at his mothers before yawning and laying his head on the pillow. They both smiled as they hugged their little colt. The family drifted off into a peaceful night.
Chapter 23: The Steady Build-up
Vesper woke up between both of his mother's. He smiled as he yawned and stretched.
Luna felt movement and she woke up and looked over to see Vesper awake. He yawned and stretched out both of his wings. Luna chuckled as his wing smacked Twilight in her face.
Twilight woke up abruptly as she got smacked by her son's wings.
"Oops, sorry mom." He closed his wings.
Twilight covered her mouth as she sneezed, "It's fine Ves. Are you hungry?"
Vesper nodded as he climbed off of their bed.
He made his way to their kitchen, he greeted some servants on his way down the hallway.
Luna sighed as she sat up. Twilight sat up and gently placed her hoof on Luna's back.
"Are you okay dear?" Twilight asked.
Luna nodded, "I am fine my love, I am still having those thoughts."
Twilight crawled over closer to Luna as she gently kissed her. "I know Luna, and I will help you get rid of those thoughts if it is the last thing I do."
"I just don't know how someone who has messed up so much deserves so much happiness." Luna sighed.
"Remember my love we have went through many trials and tribulations to get where we are today." Twilight said as she nuzzled Luna, "You are not your past Luna, please don't dwell on it."
Luna chuckled as she pulled Twilight in for a gentle kiss, "Every kiss is even more loving than the last."
Twilight smiled as she climbed off of the bed and took Luna with her a they left their room.
Vesper and Discord were playing with their food as Twilight and Luna entered the kitchen.
"Ves, no playing with your food." Luna stated.
Vesper chuckled as he took a bite of his celery stick, " Yes...moder..."
"No speaking with your mouth full." Twilight added.
Vesper swallowed and responded, "Yes mother."
Discord scoffed, "So many rules, talk about killjoys."
Luna smacked him on the back of his head.
"Ouch."
"We are trying to teach him how to become a respectable young colt" Luna said.
Discord cried dramatically, " AHHH!!! I'M TELLING TIA!"
"Tell me what Dissy?" Celestia asked as she entered.
Discord pointed at Luna as he transformed himself into a little colt, “Wuna is being mean to me!”
Celestia rolled her eyes at his fake crying, “And what did you do to her?”
Discord gave her big wide innocent eyes, “Why Tia I am a wittle Angel.”
Everypony broke into laughter, and little Discord pouted as he grew to his original state.
“What I can totally be innocent.” Discord growled.
Celestia wiped her tears, “Discord I love you my dear, but you can’t behave.”
Discord continued to pout until Celestia used her magic to pull him into a kiss. He turned red as he kissed her back.
Twilight covered Vespers eyes with her wing. Vesper still peaked through Twilight’s feathers.
Celestia groaned in pain as she broke the kiss and looked down at her swollen belly. Discord moved down and looked at her belly. He saw movement and he cheered.
“Look, it moved. Our baby moved!” Discord yelled.
Celestia inhaled sharply, “Yeah but it hurt me.”
Discord slouched down to her belly and gently kissed it, “Now now little one, don’t cause too much trouble for your mother.”
Celestia sighed as she finally took her seat. Discord gently pushed her chair in.
“I wonder what my cousin will look like.” Vesper said.
Discord and Celestia shared a look, Luna gently nudged her son.
“Well I guess only time will tell.” Celestia said.
Vesper tilted his head, “So does the doctor open your belly to get the baby out?”
Everypony’s eyes widened at his comment. Discord broke into laughter, and soon the whole table followed suit. Vesper looked around confused, he wondered if he had spoken out of line.
Luna looked around at the table of her family, and she smiled as she realized Twilight was right.
Vesper was in the courtyard with Discord. Discord as using his magic to play with the little colt. Twilight was sitting on the balcony reading a book. She smiled down at her son and Discord as the two played.
“Uncle Discord, how come your magic doesn’t come from your horn?” Vesper asked.
Discord responded, “Well my boy, you don’t necessarily need a horn. Even though I have two. Every creature has magic inside of them.”
“Really, even me?” Vesper asked.
“Yes even you Ves. You are a pegasus, which means you can walk on clouds, your magic is in your wings. The unicorns have literal magic that comes from their horn. The earth ponies magic comes from their hooves.” Discord explained.
“But you aren’t any of those uncle, so how do you have magic?” Ves asked as he sat down.
“Vesper…” Discord began as he levitated the young colt and sat him on his lap. “I am a jumbled mess of everything. When I mean every creature, I mean every creature. Small, big, normal, extraordinary.”
“Am I extraordinary uncle?” Ves asked.
Discord looked around before nuzzling the little colt, “The most extraordinary of them all.”
Vesper giggled as Discord began to tell him about his power and how to harness it.
Twilight couldn’t hear the two but she watched their interactions.
“Are you okay dear?” Luna asked as she walked out to the balcony.
Twilight nodded as her focus remained on the two, “Look at them love. I think Celestia will be very happy. Discord is a natural born father.”
Luna walked over to the edge and followed Twilight’s gaze, “Yeah, I guess he is.” She
Twilight sighed happily as she used her wing to pull Luna over, resting her head on her shoulder. Luna wrapped her wing around Twilight.
“Have you thought about what I said this morning my love? Has it sink in yet?” Twilight asked.
Luna nodded, “Yes it has, the message really hit home this morning. Seeing our family so happy, laughing and smiling. It warmed my heart.”
Twilight smiled as she turned her head and kissed Luna’s jaw line. “I am glad, I really don’t like seeing you so down my love. Especially when you don’t deserve it.”
Luna smiled as she leaned in closer to Twilight, “I don’t know what I ever did to deserve you.”
“You stayed true to who you are and you accepted my help when you needed it most.” Twilight responded as she leaned as well.
Their lips met and it still ignited that same spark that has burned brightly over all of these years.
Luna frowned a little as she felt Twilight stop reciprocating. Luna broke the kiss and she gasped as she saw Twilight lean forward more.
Luna grabbed Twilight before she hit the floor and she shook her gently.
“Twilight? Wake up! Twilight!?” Luna yelled as she shook her a little rougher. She looked at Twilight’s chest to see that she was still breathing. She picked her up and placed her gently on her back.
Vesper and Discord flew up to the balcony.
“Mom, what happened?” Ves asked.
“I don’t know, but we are going to the doctors NOW!” Luna growled in frustration as she trotted down the hallway.
Vesper followed behind Luna. Discord flew off to fetch Celestia.
“Mom are you okay?” He asked Luna.
“I am fine, just worried. Your mother….her health has been compromised before and I fear her fainting is because of that. But I need a second opinion.”
“I hope mommy is okay.” Ves said.
Luna sighed, “Me too Vesper. Me too.”
Chapter 24: The Good/Bad News

Chapter 24: The Good/Bad News
Luna was sitting next to the hospital bed with Vesper in her lap. Vesper was fast asleep and even drooling a little on Luna. She didn’t care, she had her eyes glued onto Twilight. It was two straight days and Twilight had not woken up.
Her breathing was calm, her heart beat was stable. Luna has tear stains rolling down her cheeks. She had both of her arms wrapped around her son. The nurse came into the room with a clipboard in her hand.
“Good evening your majesty.” She said as she walked over to the IV and started writing on her clipboard.
Luna slowly turned to look at the nurse, “Has her results come back?”
The nurse shook her head, as she continued to scribble on her clipboard. “Sadly no, we are still waiting for the tests to come back from the lab.”
The nurse continued to check the equipment that surrounded Twilight’s bed.
Luna sighed as she rested her head on Vespers little sleeping head. Without noticing, her herself slowly started to drift off to sleep.
Luna was awoken by a Vesper as he shook her awake. Luna shook her head as she started to wake up.
“Mom the doctor is here.” Vesper said.
The doctor nodded and Luna glared at him. “What is wrong with my wife?”
“Nothing.”
Luna raised an eyebrow. “Look we fetched you because you are the best doctor in Equestria, not only that but you are the most trustworthy. She fainted and has yet to wake up and you tell me nothing is wrong with her.”
The doctor put his hooves up in submission. “Let me explain…”
Luna sighed as she gently pulled Vesper close.
“Twilight is not sick, she is just a little weak. She isn’t a natural born Alicorn, yet she is carrying one that is.”
Luna’s eyes widened, “Impossible.”
Vesper looked at his mother confused, “Huh, what does that mean mother?”
The doctor bent down to Vespers level and smiled, “You are going to be a big brother.”
Two more days had passed before Twilight finally opened her eyes. Luna jumped and was next to Twilight the instance her eyelashes fluttered open.
“Luna?”
Luna grabbed Twilight’s hoof and gently kissed it, “I’m here baby. I’m here.”
Twilight smiled a little. Vesper climbed onto her bed.
“Mommy are you okay now?” Vesper asked.
Twilight smiled as she nodded, “Yes, I am fine.”
She turned and looked a Luna. Vesper laid down next to Twilight. Twilight gently patted his head.
“So what is wrong with me?” She asked.
Luna bit her lip and looked away. Vesper looked up at his mother, “Can I tell her?”
“Tell me what?” Twilight asked.
Luna turned her head back around, “Twilight my love, the reason her fainted. The reason you are currently a weak, is because….well….we are having a miracle.”
Twilight looked confused for a second before the reality set in. She sat up slowly and looked down at her belly. She looked a Vesper. He had a wide smile on his little face.
“I’m gonna be a big brother.”
Twilight looked over at Luna, “That has to be impossible. That doctor ruined my womb. There is no way I can carry.”
“It is possible.” The doctor said as he walked in.
Everyone directed their attention to him as he walked in.
“Now I am well aware of what happened with the meds and the miscarriage. We did run a few tests on you that related to pregnancy. We found out that you still had a very small percentage of getting pregnant. So it was unlikely, not impossible.”
Twilight started to tear up. “I can’t believe it.”
Luna reached over and gently wiped the tears that rolled down Twilight’s cheek.
The doctor smiled, “we would like to run a few tests, see if we can determine how far along the foal is and see if this pregnancy is safe.”
Luna glared at the doctor, as her eyes flashed, “This pregnancy better be safe.”
“Now now, your majesty. I can assure you that we will handle this pregnancy with the utmost care. We just want to run some tests, given the incident that occurred years ago, we just want to make sure Twilight’s body can handle this pregnancy.” The doctor said.
Luna growled, “I am not leaving her side. I made that mistake once. I refuse to make that same mistake.”
The doctor nodded, “That is understandable.”
Luna leaned in close to Twilight and took her lips up into a gentle and passionate kiss, “I will never leave you alone, not now, not ever.”
Twilight returned the kiss, she blushed like crazy. Once they parted, she looked over to see Vesper covering his eyes with his hooves.
“Is it over?” he asked as he peeked.
The room erupted with laughter.
Luna, Vesper, and Twilight were all cuddled up to one another in the small hospital bed. The doctor gently opened the door and tapped Luna on her shoulder.
Luna whined as she picked her head up and gave a hearty yawn. Twilight felt Luna stir and she took picked up her head.
Once Luna’s vision cleared she looked at the doctor, “What?”
“Well I have good news and bad news. The good news is that the foal is healthy and is making good progress so far.”
Twilight rubbed her eyes still waking up, “And the bad news?”
The doctor sighed, “This pregnancy might be difficult, if not impossible to maintain.”
“You can’t mean…” Twilight stuttered.
“There is a high chance of a miscarriage.”
Something has gone wrong. We don't seem to have an archived copy of that chapter. Chapter 26: A Royal Birth
Twilight tossed and turned as she whined out in her sleep. Luna sensing the distress immediately awoke. She gently started to kiss Twilight’s cheek, ear, chin, and nose.
With each kiss a gentle ripple of magic entered Twilight’s body. She soon started to calm as she went back to a peaceful dream.
Luna smiled as she looked down at her beautiful Princess. She then directed her attention to Twilight’s stomach. She gently brushed away the fur on her stomach to reveal her scar.
Luna leaned down and gave Twilight’s scar a gentle kiss. Twilight shuddered in her sleep at the touch of her scar.
Luna’s ear flopped over as the memories revisited her. She growled as her eyes shut and she relived the scene happening before her very eyes. The news, Twilight’s depression, everything.
Luna shook her head as she looked back down at Twilight. She got close to her stomach and gently rested her ear on it. Her eyes widened at the sound of a small, faint heartbeat.
Tears started to cloud her vision as she sniffled. Twilight opened her eyes and looked down. She didn’t move, she just looked down at Luna, seeing the back of her starry mane.
“I promise, for as long as I live. When you are born little one, no harm will come your way. I will protect you, your mother, your brother, with my last breath. Just please….hang in there for us. We need you here.” Luna whispered as she placed a gentle hoof on Twilight’s belly.
Twilight leaned her head up a little. Luna’s ear perked up as she turned around and looked at her. Twilight gave Luna a warm smile as she grabbed Luna’s face with both hooves.
Neither one of them said anything. Twilight looked into Luna’s eyes. She read her like an open book. She saw the years of loneliness and pain that this mare has suffered.
Luna read Twilights eyes. She saw the underlining doubt that this mare had about herself. The self-esteem issues she covered up with all of her smarts.
They continued to read each other before Luna moved in closer and kissed Twilight gently and lovingly. Twilight wrapped her hooves around Luna’s neck to pull her in closer.
They never deepened the kiss, they just kept their lips together. Luna’s wings opened and slowly started to fold around both her and Twilight.
After what felt like an eternity they finally broke the kiss.
“We are in this together my love. Please do not let your fears take over.” Twilight whispered.
Twilight smiled as she leaned against Luna. Luna’s wing closed more around them. She smiled as she gently kisses Twilight’s forehead.
Luna sighed, “I apologize my love. I will try, I just cannot help myself. My thoughts always seem to drift that way.”
Twilight looked up at Luna as she gently rubbed her cheek, “It's fine my love. Whether it is one time or millions of times. I will continue to reassure you that nothing is ever going to change. I am still going to love you unconditionally.”
Luna smiled as she held Twilight close to her. Twilight rested her head on Luna’s chest, her eyes grew heavy as she slowly fell asleep.
Luna laid there awake. She listened to the steady sound of Twilight’s breathing. She stared at the ceiling as her own eyelids grew heavy. She closed her eyes as she slowly fell asleep.
The next morning the two were abruptly awoken by a little colt jumping on their bed.
“Mommy! Mommy! Wake up! Wake up!” Vesper said as he continued to jump on their bed.
Twilight raised her head and smiled, Luna leaned up and grabbed Vesper. She pinned him down and tickled him.
“Hahahaha! Mommy! Stop It!” Vesper laughed as he tried to push Luna away.
“You come into our room and have the nerve to abruptly wake us both then you tell me to stop punishing you. Nope.” Luna growled as she tickled him more.
Vesper continued to laugh as Luna tickled him more. Twilight covered her mouth as she giggled.
Luna ended her tickle torture with a raspberry. Vesper wiped the tears around his eyes.
Luna smiled as she yawned and lay back, holding Vesper close to her chest. “So my little nightmare, what has you running in here like you have lost your mind?”
Vesper looked at Luna lost for a minute. Luna and Twilight gave the colt a confused look.
After two minutes of completely silence a lightbulb flickered, “Oh that’s right. Auntie Celestia’s baby is coming!”
Luna sat up and looked at her son in disbelief.
“I thought she has another 3 months.” Twilight said.
Luna used her magic to fix her mane really quick. “Well remember this is discords child, it is only natural that this pregnancy would be irregular”
Twilight giggled as she brushed her teeth and fixed her own mane, “Well I just hope my pregnancy would be someone normal.”
Luna smiled as she placed Vesper on her back. “Well it is so far my love.” She turned back to look at her son.
“Where is your aunt?” Luna asked.
“Discord took her to the hospital already. He told me to tell you two to meet them there.” Vesper said as he held on.
“Twilight my love, should we take the carriage or do you think you can fly?” Luna asked
“I should be fine my love, let's go, we don’t want to miss the foal.” Twilight said as she took off first. Luna was right behind her.
When Twilight and Luna got there they noticed that Discord was making a ruckus.
“What do you mean I can’t see my wife. That is my family in there! Do you know who you are talking too! I am the LORD OF CHAOS!” Discord roared as he started to throw things around.
Luna sighed as she used her magic to clean the room and repair everything he broke, “Discord please restrain yourself.”
Discord huffed, “I can’t help it. That is my wife in there Lulu. I just want to make sure she is alright. I know that this birthing would not be easy. Hell I wouldn’t be surprised if she wanted to kill me afterwards.”
Luna laughed, “I am glad my wife is too sweet to want to kill me, Right dear?” Luna turned and looked at Twilight.
Twilight chuckled, “Remember dear, this is just the early stages of the pregnancy, rumor has it that is gets way worse later on. Don’t let my pretty face fool you love, I am pretty sure I can be scary.”
Luna stuck out her tongue as she teased, “About as scary as a breezy.”
Celestia’s screams echoed throughout the hospital.
Discord roared, “THEY ARE KILLING HER! LET ME THROUGH! LET ME THROUGH!”
Twilight and Luna aided in holding him back. Discord thrashed around until he wore himself out.
After a few hrs the doors opened and a doctor stepped through, clipboard in hand. “Mr. Discord?”
Discord jumped from his chair, “That is me, How is she?”
The doctor chuckled. “She is fine. The delivery was a success. Would you like to come and see your foal?”
Discord nodded as he, Luna, Twilight, and Vesper followed behind the doctor.
They entered a hospital room to see Celestia laying on the bed with her wings folded over her chest. Her head was resting on her pillow and her mane was a mess.
Discord walked over to the bed and Celestia raised her head as he lowered his and they nuzzled.
“How are you feeling my dear?” Discord asked.
“I am fine, do you want to see her?” Celestia asked as she looked down at her folded over wings.
Discord nodded as his eyes locked onto her wings.
Celestia moved her wings to reveal a foal in a tightly wrapped pink blanket. The foal had a powerful red mane and a bright white coat. She opened her eyes to show one red and the other pink.
“She looks, kind of… normal dear.” Discord said as he raised an eyebrow.
Celestia peeled off the blanket to show her light blue bat wings, her green dragon tail with a red tip, and her two back talons.
Discord breathed a sigh of relief, “I got nervous there for a minute.” He reached down and gently kissed his daughter's forehead.
Celestia wrapped the foal back up in the blanket.
“Have you come up with a name for her dear sister?” Luna asked.
Celestia nodded, “I am going to name her Elysian.”
Discord stroked his beard, “Elysian… Elysian. I like it. It suits her.”
Elysian sneezed as she opened her eyes, blinking a few times before yawning and falling asleep.
The whole room broke out in awe’s.
Twilight leaned against Luna and Luna wrapped her wing around her. Vesper ran up to the bed and looked at Elysian.
“Look at my new baby cousin. I can’t wait till she gets older so we can play.” Vesper said as he gently petted her mane.
Luna and Twilight smiled.
Chapter 27: Meeting Elysian

Sorry for the lack of updates, and the short chapter. Been dealing with a lot and I will be moving soon. I have also started to focus on my youtube channel a little more.
Chapter 27: Meeting Elysian
Celestia was released from the hospital a week later. She was supposed to stay just a little longer but the building couldn’t take any more of Elysian’s sporadic chaos magic.
Celestia held Elysian close. Elysian blinks a few times before sneezing and causing chocolate milk to rain down on them.
Celestia sighed, “Discord when will her powers calm down?”
Discord chuckled as he patted his wife’s head, “Oh sweetie, never.”
Celestia smiled and shook her head as she put an umbrella over her and Elysian.
Twilight, Luna and Vesper were waiting for Celestia and Discord by the castle doors.
Vesper began to pace as he grew impatient. He kept checking the windows.
“Mommy are you sure they are coming home today, it has been like a billion hours.” Vesper groaned as he threw himself on the window sill.
Twilight chuckled, “Yes dear, I can assure you they will be home soon, just please be patient.”
Vesper groaned loud and dramatically as he threw his hooves in the air. “What is taking them so long, did they stop to buy a house or something?”
Twilight and Luna shared a look and Luna ran and scooped Vesper up as she blew raspberries on his belly.
“Hahaha…..No...m..mother…..s...stop….it….hahahaha” Vesper laughed with tears in his eyes.
Twilight put a hoof up, “Alright Luna, I think he has had enough tickle torture.” She laughed.
Luna smiled as she gently hugged Vesper, and he hugged her back.
“You must learn to be patient my son, what will you do if one day you are tasked with a very important meeting and it take forever to start?” Luna asked.
“I know mother, but what is I get bored?” Vesper asked.
“Oh believe us dear, those meetings can be such a drag.” Twilight said a little overdramatically.
Luna nodded, “Yeah, but your mother and I have to keep a brave face on, and we have to be very attentive. Sometimes the meetings are funny.”
Vesper raised an eyebrow, “Really?”
Luna nodded, “Of course, some delegates trip over their words or they speak out of their flanks.”
Vesper looked confused, “Speak out of their flanks?”
Twilight glared at Luna, “They speak with their hoof in their mouth.”
Vesper nodded, “Ohhhh I get it mommy.”
The castle doors flew open allowing some chocolate rain drops to fly through. Vespers eyes widened and Twilight and Luna smiled.
“Introducing her future majesty….. ELYSIAN” Discord’s booming voice declared as he walked in holding Elysian up high above his head, “May you all bow down to her royal chaotic highness.”
Elysian just looked around confused before she yawned.
Celestia walking in behind Discord as she used her magic to take Elysian back from Discord.
“Do you think all of that was necessary dear?” She asked as she held the little foal close.
“Of course it was my love, then everyone bows down and the sun and chocolate rain showers our foal with praise, or would you rather me call three little breezies to bestow gifts upon our foal.”
Celestia rolled her eyes, “Yeah and then Chrysalis will show up, Give me a break my love.”
Elysian yawned, and in turn caused Celestia to yawn.
“Oh are you sleepy my dear, here i will take the foal and play.” Discord said as he scooped up the Elysian.
“No” Celestia said taking Elysian back. “However if you would like, you could join us for a nap.”
Elysian yawned once more before grabbing some of Celestia’s fur and cuddling into her. Discord grumbled, “Fine, but how long do we have to sleep? I wanna play.”
“Till she is ready to wake up, now off we go.” Celestia said as she begun to walk away.
She stopped cold in her tracks and turned to look at her sisters and nephew, “Oh I am sorry you guys, I was so wrapped up with Discord and Elysian I didn’t realize you were there.”
Twilight nodded, “Its fine.”
Vesper ran up to his auntie, “I am with uncle Discord, how long do you have to sleep. I wanna play with her now.”
Luna walked up and patted her son on the head, “Ves, newborn foals need to sleep and eat for the first few months. I’m sorry but Elysian won’t leave Tia’s side for a while.”
Ves looked down, “Oh, Well then can I do visit Tundra. I wanna play but i don’t want to wake the foal.”
Luna and Twilight nodded, “We can all go.”
Luna hugged her sister, “Good luck, now the chaos has been doubled.”
Celestia smiled as she kissed Elysian’s little head. “Yes it has.”

Chapter 28: Family time, and Wandering Thoughts
Vesper and Tundra were running around with the animals. The big bear was chasing the boy, as they ran with Angel bunny.
Twilight, Luna, and Fluttershy watched from a distance,as they drank tea and talked.
“So Twilight, are you excited about the foal?” Fluttershy asked in her soft spoken voice.
Twilight nodded as she set her teacup down, “Very, but I always have this underlying worry that plagues me.”
Luna nodded as she agreed with Twilight. A moment of realization flashed over Fluttershy’s face as she realized what Twilight was referring too. She just nodded silently as she brought her teacup to her lips.
“Well it seems that you are starting to show? Feel any kicks yet?” Fluttershy asked.
Twilight nodded, “Yes, but they are very weak and fragile. The doctors told us not to worry, they did multiple ultrasounds, as per requested by my wife. They showed up multiple pictures of the foal.”
Luna nodded, “Well I needed to make sure that they did their job thoroughly. There will be no cutting corners when it comes to my wife's pregnancy”
Fluttershy nodded in agreement, “I agree”
Twilight shook her head as she rolled her eyes.
“Filly or Colt?” Fluttershy asked.
“They say that they can’t tell, the foal is still too underdeveloped.” Twilight said as she rubbed her belly.
Fluttershy nodded, “At least your foal is healthy, have you guys browsed any names?”
“No not yet, we are just focusing on making sure this pregnancy all goes accordingly.” Luna said as she kisses her wife's cheek.
Twilight nodded, “ I really want to have this foal. But I want to make sure that the foal is healthy, and happy.”
Luna gently hugged Twilight. Fluttershy smiled as she refilled everyone’s drink. The three looked out to the boys playing.
Tundra and Vesper had tackled the bear and was tickling him. The bear was hugging the two boys as he laughed and pretended to be defeated.
Rainbow came to the backyard to see the boy playing with the bear, she smiled as she walked over and gave Fluttershy a gentle peck on the lips.
Tundra looked up and saw his mother, he gasped and hopped off of the bear to hug her, “Mom!”
Rainbow hugged her precious little boy. Vesper walked over and climbed into Luna’s lap. “Hey auntie where were you?”
Rainbow smiled as Tundra climbed onto her back, “I was out and about running a few errands. Also baby, the animals food is in the kitchen on the counter.”
Fluttershy nodded, “Thank you dear.”
Tundra yawned. Vesper also yawned.
Rainbow and Fluttershy smiled, “We think it is time for somepony’s nap.”
Luna nodded as Twilight gently patted Vespers mane, “Yeah we believe it is.”
Both boys shook their heads as they protested, “We aren’t even tired mom.”
Twilight smiled as she got up. Luna grabbed Ves by his scruff. “Tired or not it’s still nap time.”
Vesper groaned, “Fine mommy.”
Fluttershy used her tail to pick up Tundra, he wrapped his little arms around her tail as she lifted him up and placed him on her back.
Tundra grabbed Fluttershy’s wings and used them as a blanket. Rainbow reached over and nuzzled her son as he giggled, his eyelids growing heavy.
Vesper yawned and rubbed his eyes as Luna held him by his scruff.
Rainbow nodded to them, “We will see ya guys later.”
Luna nodded, Twilight said her goodbyes. With that Fluttershy and Rainbow made their way to their cottage, and Luna and Twilight back to the chariot.
Luna laid Vesper down in his bed, and the minute she did he reached out and hugged his blankets as he snored softly.
Twilight and Luna smiled as the left his door open a crack before making their way to their bedroom.
Luna closed the door and sat on the bed, while Twilight went to the bathroom.
“Lulu, I have been thinking…” Twilight began.
“Yes my love?”
“What if we signed Vesper up to go to a real school, with other fillies and colts?” Twilight said as she emerged from the bathroom making her way to the bed.
Luna frowned, “I don’t know dear, royals have always been homeschooled. Other colts and fillies tend to serve as a distraction.”
Twilight nodded, “And I’m well aware of that, but he is very sociable for his age. I feel like he should branch out and have more friends than just his family.”
“But he has tons of friends, the chefs, the maids, the guards, they all love him!” Luna said flailing her hooves.
Twilight nodded, “While I am all for making all ages and types of friends, i still do believe that he needs to make friends his own age dear.”
“But...Wait...We.”
Twilight placed a hoof on Luna’s shoulder, “Trust me dear, I’m just as nervous as you are, I mean do you know how much could happen to him when he isn’t around us or someone we trust. Actually there is a book on all the possible outcomes.”
Luna chuckled, “Still my little bookworm huh?”
Twilight nodded, as Luna gently kissed her cheek. “But I am serious, we should at least consider it, and get his take on it. This is a family meeting matter.”
Luna sighed, “What if he wants to go?”
Twilight gently patted Luna’s head, “Then we start looking into schools for him.”
Luna growled, “I’m not gonna like this.”
Twilight hugged her wife, “Don’t worry love, we still have to talk to him.”
Luna whispered, “Or talk him out of it.”

Chapter 30: Tour de School
Luna looked over at Twilight, and Twilight gave Luna and innocent look.
“Dear can I speak with you in the study?” Luna asked.
Twilight nodded as she gulped.
“Vesper stay here and read your pamphlet, mommy and I will be right back okay?” Luna said.
Vesper nodded as he climbed onto their bed and continued to look at the pamphlet.
Luna closed the door behind Twilight as they entered the study. Her back was to Twilight before taking a deep breath and turning to face her mare.
Twilight chuckled nervously, “Hi”
“Twilight I thought you and I were going to discuss this first.” Luna stated.
“What is there to discuss my love. Vesper is 5, he will be turning 6 in half a year and I think we should enroll him in school.”
“Why he has a tutor, we can teach him. There isn’t much new that he would learn in school. School is just an excuse to get the children out of the house for 8 hours of the day. I want my son here with us, where he is safe.” Luna stated.
“But he needs to meet other children his age.”
“He has his cousin.”
“His cousin that he rarely gets to see cause he is in school, and because we live a whole town away.” Twilight said raising her voice.
“I just, Twilight we should have talked about it more first before you pull a fast one and just decide that he is old enough to make his own decisions.” Luna raised her voice as well.
“He is just going to school Luna, he isn’t marrying some harlot. I truthfully don’t see the problem here.” Twilight growled.
“The problem is that we aren’t ready to sent him off yet!” Luna yelled.
“You mean, you aren’t ready!” Twilight yelled back.
Luna growled, “Weren’t you the worrywart in this relationship!”
Twilight gasped, “Oh, Luna that was a low blow. I maybe the the worrywart, but at least I am ready to cut the umbilical cord!” She yelled as she stomped her hoof on the ground.
Luna turned her back on Twilight, “He is adopted there, isn’t any umbilical cord. I just don’t want him too far away from us.”
Twilight gasped, “How could you do that, bringing up the fact that we adopted him. Luna that’s heartless.” She yelled back.
“I Don’t Want Him To Leave This Castle! End Of Discussion.” Luna growled her back still turned to Twilight.
Twilight rubbed her belly gently as she felt some pain from the unborn foal. “What, You can’t trust your son! You can’t trust your Wife!?”
“I DON’T TRUST THIS WORLD!” Luna yelled as she turned and looked at Twilight. All anger from her face drained as she saw that Twilight was clearly in pain.
She walked over and gently wrapped her wings around Twilight. She sighed as she heard her wife start sniffling.
“That’s what this is all about Luna, not everyone thinks like the delegates your know.” Twilight sniffled as she buried her face in Luna’s chest.
“But not everyone is as open minded as us.” Luna whispered gently as she gently and affectionately licked Twilight’s ear, trying to ease her pain.
“I’m sorry my love, I didn’t mean to stress you or the baby out. I’m so sorry.” Luna whispered gently.
Twilight nodded as she inhaled and exhaled, trying to make the pain fade away. And slowly but surely it did. She continued to rub her belly to soothe the foal, and soon Luna’s hoof found her way onto Twilight's hoof as she aided her.
Twilight looked up at Luna. Luna smiled back down at Twilight as she leaned her head in and gave Twilight a gentle kiss on the lips.
Twilight released a small, gentle, and satisfying moan. Luna smiled more into the kiss as she wrapped her wings around them, covering them from view as she deepened the kiss.
There was a knock on the door that jolted the two, both of them jumped up and knocked foreheads together.
“Oww Luna, your big ole head.” Twilight giggled playfully.
Luna smirked and bit Twilight's ear once before helping her wife up. Twilight whined as a shiver went down her spine.
“That will teach you to make fun of my head.” Luna stated.
Twilight raised her eyebrow and shook her head. She gently licked Luna’s cheek. “But that is my big ole head.”
Luna smiled as she spoke, “Come in!”
A Guard walked in, “Princesses Celestia has called for a small family meeting.”
“Let my sister know we will be there in a moment.” Luna stated as she folded her wings back to her sides.
The Guard nodded as he closed the door behind him.
Luna smiled as Twilight gave her a gentle kiss on her cheek, “If it makes you feel better my love, we can actually tour the school before we enroll him.”
Luna sighed and nodded, “I was never going to win this argument was I?”
Twilight giggled as she licked Luna’s cheek.
“Nope”
Celestia was sitting at the breakfast table sipping on her tea. Vesper was attacking some cereal, and Elysian was sitting in her high chair eating a cotton candy cloud.
Elysian cooed happily as she made a sticky mess all over herself and the chair. Celestia giggled a little as she watched her daughter.
“No Eli, you are doing it all wrong.” Discord said as he snapped his fingers and his daughter was completely clean. Her cotton candy cloud now absent from her little hooves. She started crying.
“Dissy give her, her cloud back.” Celestia frowned.
“Not until she learns how to eat it right.” Discord said, turning his back on his daughter to speak to his wife. Elysian summoned a giant hammer and hit Discord a few times with it.
Celestia smirked, as Discord was flattened to the ground, “Well…”
Discord sprung back up, his eyes swirling around as he slowly spun. “She...g..gets...h..her..a..attitude..f..from….y.ou.” He fell to the ground in a heap and Elysian clapped her hooves together as her hammer disappears. She stuck a hoof in her mouth and sucked on it as Discord stretched and cracked his back as he stood up.
“Elysian, I thought you loved daddy!” Discord whined.
Elysian looked at him, tilted her head and summoned a bottle of chocolate milk. Discord pouted at her, and she summoned a cup of chocolate milk for him.
“Oh my favorite, how did you know! Oh she really does love her daddy.” He cheered as he picked her up and bounced her around.
“No wait Discord she just finished…” But it was already too late, before Celestia could warn him Elysian burped and a torrent of flames welcomed Discord's face. He opened his scorched eyes as he handed Elysian to Celestia.
Celestia put her hoof over her mouth to avoid breaking out into laughter at her husband's expense. Elysian giggled and clapped her hooves together as her mane lit up bright. Her dragon tail wagging a little. Her blue bat wings flapping a little. Celestia gently cradled her little filly in her wing.
Elysian yawned as she cuddled into her mother's feathers. Discord finished wiping the soot off of his face and leaned over and down at his child.
Elysian giggled and booped her father with her tail before yawning and drifting off into a peaceful sleep.
Discord raised his brow as he watched his daughter sleep. “This is the only time this little troublemaker is peaceful.”
Celestia giggled, “She reminds me of her father.”
Discord pouted as Celestia and she smiled as she leaned over and kissed the frown off of his face.
Vesper made a face and stuck his tongue out and make a puking sound. Discord looked over and made the colts bowl of cereal explode.
“HEY, uncle Discord!” Vesper chuckled as he threw his spoon at his uncle and hit him square on the head.
Discord growled playfully, “That's it. Between you and your cousin, you are driving the king of chaos mad!” He flew over and grabbed Vesper and tickled him like crazy.
Luna and Twilight walked in. Luna used her magic to make feather appear and to tickle Discord. Discord broke out into uncontrollable laughter till he dropped Vesper. Twilight caught Vesper with her magic and brought him over to him to hug him.
Luna smiled as she quit the torture. Vesper cheered as he hugged his mother. “I love my mothers!”
Luna nodded as she looked at Discord. “Luna that was fowl play!”
“I had to save my son.” Luna smiled as she walked over to her wife and child as she nuzzled Vespers man.
Discord pouted and Celestia just kissed his cheek.
“So what’s up with the meeting today sister” Luna asked as she sat down. Twilight used her magic and set Vesper back down in his chair. She gave him a fresh bowl of cereal and he started to eat it.
“Well I heard that Vesper wanted to go to school, and I found an advanced educational institute that is one of the best in Canterlot, it is specifically for children from a Royal background.” Celestia said as she slid the flier across the table to Twilight and Luna.
Luna looked at Twilight and Twilight just stuck her tongue out and grabbed the flier.
“It’s a very diverse school, it teaches the children basic flying and magic. In addition to teaching them how to prepare for press conferences, meetings, organize trades, rally out rations in the case of a catastrophic emergencies, allows them to practice all the responsibilities that comes with being in power. There are special classes for each type of power.” Celestia stated.
Twilight nodded as she read the flier and Luna snatched it away. “Can't we just set up some playdates and arrange for him to get a private tutor. I mean really.”
“But mother, I really want to go to school.” Vesper said as he gave Luna the puppy eyes.
Luna sighed as she gave in, “Fine, but you are going to see this thing through to graduation. Do I make myself clear?”
Vesper nodded dramatically as he got up and ran over to hug Luna. “Thank you mommy”
Luna smiled as she nuzzled her son.
Twilight smiled as she checked the flier for dates. “Oh dear, they have a campus tour tomorrow. Maybe we can go check it out.”
Luna nodded, “Yeah, from what time?”
“2pm to 6pm. There will be food provided, we get to check out the classrooms, amenities, and the overall layout of the campus.” Twilight said as she read off of the flyer.
Vesper nodded, “Then we can go shopping, I want a new saddlebag please!”
Twilight and Luna stood in the crowd of parents waiting to enter the school for a tour. Vesper stuck close to his mother's legs as he looked at the other ponies. There were other kids his age, many more than he has seen at one time.
Vesper fiddled with his tie, and Twilight reached down and fixed it. “Vessy no playing with your tie okay? You have to look presentable.”
“Sorry mama,” He said.
Some of the younger ponies were playing with one another, but some were looking at Twilight and Luna in amazement.
Vesper heard the whispers from the crowd,
“Look it’s Princess Luna.”
“Look it's Princess Twilight.”
“Wow, they are tall.”
“Is that their son?”
“He isn’t an Alicorn.”
“Are alicorns only females?”
“He’s cute.”
That last comment left Vesper with a blush, he looked around to see where it had came from. He saw a small group of fillies all giggling and looking at him. He looked around some more and saw one filly was strayed away from the group.
He felt bubbly as he looked at her. She was really pretty, She had two ponytails in her mane. Her mane was pale blue with white highlights. Her mane and tail were both wavy. She had silver eyes and a pale yellow coat.
She was looking back at him, she was blushing slightly as she hid behind her father’s hoof, her wings folded tightly to her sides. Her father was a tall built stallion. He had a silver mane, his moustache to match. He had a Dark brown coat. His eyes were silver as well. He had a gavel as his cutie mark and his glasses hung low on his muzzle. His wings
“Justice are you okay?” He asked as he gently patted his daughter.
She looked up and nodded as she hid behind him, her blush still visible as she looked at Vesper. Her father looked at where she was looking and his eyes locked on the Vesper. He cleared his throat as she frowned at the colt.
Vesper gulped as he turned and climbed onto Luna’s back. Luna looked back at him and nuzzled her little colt.
Soon the Principal came out of the building and opened the gate wide. “Parents, future students we welcome you to Pembridge Academy.”
Vesper jumped off of his mother’s back as his eyes lit up. He ran off ahead and Luna yelled out, “Vesper get back here!”
Vesper ran on and tripped over a stone, he tumbled right into the filly from before. The group of fillies laughed at them as they both got up and recovered. The filly blushed as she wiggled from under him.
Vesper jumped back, “Oh I’m sorry about that I’m just extremely excited.”
She shook her head as a soft voice escaped her, “That’s fine, I’m fine.”
The ponies started to walked around them to enter the school grounds.
“Are you excited?” Vesper asked.
“It’s just school.” She responded.
“Justice! Justice!” Her father yelled.
“Coming!” She yelled back. The filly dusted herself off and started to trot over to her father. Vesper followed her.
“Justice is a pretty name, mine is Vesper.” He stated.
“My father named me Justice cause is a Judge in the supreme court. The legal system kinda runs in the family.” She stated.
Vesper went to speak until a hoof came smack down a few inches from him. Justice was already on the other side of that hoof. She turned and gasped.
“Who are you, Little one?” The stallion asked.
Vesper backed away and shrunk a little, until he felt someone grab his scruff.
“Terribly sorry about that, he is just overly excited about school.” Luna stated. Twilight carried him over and gently placed him on Luna's back.
“Oh princess Luna,” The Stallion bowed, the filly bowed also.
“You are fine, no need to bow. I just wanted to apologize for my son.” She stated.
“All is forgiven, please…” The stallion said as he stepped aside so that they could enter the school.
Luna and Twilight walked ahead and Vesper looked back, looking at Justice as she disappeared in the crowd.
They were shown all of the classrooms, labs, storage areas, the gym. At the end of the tour Luna was completely okay with the school idea. She loved the campus, the teachers they met seem nice. Luna raised her hoof in the crowd to ask a question.
“So the teachers they are assigned teach them all the way through graduation?” She asked.
The principal nodded, “That’s right, so that each teacher will have a close relationship to their students. They get to see them grow and learn, it's like they have a second parent.”
Luna nodded as she whispered to Twilight, “I like that ideology”
Twilight nodded. Vesper smiled and bounces excitedly. Luna smiled as she nuzzled her son.
“So Vesper you wanna go here?” Luna asked.
Vesper nodded, “Yes I really wanna go.”
Luna looked at Twilight with a cocky grin, “So worry wart are you okay with this.”
Twilight pouted, “Hey you where the one that was originally worried.”
Luna smiled and kissed her wife’s cheek, “I love you dear.”
The group was dismissed. Vesper looked into the crowd trying to see if he could find Justice.
Not even a trace. He sighed as he sat on his mother’s back.
Luna looked back at Ves, “What is wrong kiddo?”
“I met a really nice filly, but I don’t know. Her dad seemed kinda...uptight.” Vesper stated.
Luna shook her head, “Nope, no, I refuse.” She looked at her wife to see her beaming with joy.
“No ma’am, No sir. I am just now getting calm with the idea of him going to school. Only one topic at a time please. We are not handling this Filly Fiasco. Nope, end of discussion.” Luna emphasized.
Twilight frowned at Luna, “I’m afraid for the time being that you mother is right Vesper. You need to focus on your school work. Then maybe when you get older…”
“What are you two talking about, I was just saying she was nice and I wanted to be friends.” Vesper stated with a pout on his face.
Luna and Twilight looked at each other worried.
“What were you two talking about?” Vesper asked as he quirked a brow.
“Nothing. Nothing” Twilight and Luna both said as they both scratched the back of their heads embarrassed.
Vesper frowned and shrugged his shoulder, “You know you guys are weird sometimes.”
Later on that night Twilight was tucking Vesper into his bed. Luna was watching from the door.
“Mama, when little brother or sister gets here, how will I be able to help if I’m at school?” Vesper asked.
“Well you are off on weekends and you aren’t in school all day, you get off at 2.” Twilight said as she pulled the blanket up and tucked in the sides.
“And when the foal is old enough, they will go to school with you. You can protect them while at school. Mommy and I can’t help if we are at home.” Luna said.
Vespers eye widened, “Wait… you guys don’t go to school with me?”
Twilight looked confused and shook her head, “No Ves, school is for little colts and fillies to learn independence from their parents. It’s the first stage of growing up.”
Vespers smile grew as wide as his eyes, “Really?”
Luna and Twilight both nodded.
Vesper jumped outta his covers and onto the bed, “Wow, I already feel like a full grown stallion.”
Twilight giggled as she picked him up and used her magic to re-tuck him in. Vesper yawned as he turned to his side and smiled at his mothers. His eyes slowly starting to droop.
Twilight gently kissed his forehead as soft snores escaped from him. She slowly got up and silently made her way out of the room.
Luna shut off his light and left the door open a crack.
Twilight made her way to their bedroom and Luna followed.
“Nice save with the growing up statement dear.” Luna said as she securely closed their door.
Twilight nodded, “In a way my love it’s true. It is also a way for some very attached mothers to grow independence from their children.”
Luna quirked her brow at her wife, “I get the distinct impression you are talking about me.”
Twilight giggled.
“That is alright my dear, remember Karma works in mysterious ways.” Luna smirked.
Twilight rolled her eyes as she dragged Luna to lay down. “We can worry about Karma tomorrow. I want my wife to cuddle with me now.”
Luna smiled as she kissed Twilight lips gently, “When did you become the bold one?”
“Since I am the one carrying our foal.” She yawned as she nuzzled into Luna.
Luna reached down and gently rubbed Twilight's stomach. Twilight started to purr ever so gently.
“I have a good feeling about this one.” Twilight whispered as Luna kissed her forehead.
