The Lost Princess
The Beginning: Part One

It was a beautiful day in Canterlot. The streets were buzzing with stallions and mares. There was a particular Pegasus who was up in the sky, trying to figure out where must the clouds go. Her fur was a beautiful turquoise, eyes a shimmering silver, mane a nice shade of pink. Her cutie mark was three clouds, resembling her job as a Cloudkicker. And her name: Radiance.
One day as Radiance was clearing the sky, for the forecast was sunny, she noticed a dark brown stallion with white hair. She could tell he was a unicorn, for his horn was sticking right up from his mane. After kicking the last cloud she saw, Radiance swooped down to the ground, trotting carefully so the stallion could notice her. But, he didn't. After a few steps, Radiance stopped in her tracks and said, "Hello kind sir. Might I ask what your name is?"
The stallion's head hung low. He seemed depressed.
"Sir, are you okay?" Radiance asked. His head lifted up to face the beautiful mare. No words came out of his mouth. He just kept staring at her silver eyes. Radiance noticed how he was staring at her and blushed. That was when he snapped out of it.
"Oh! Sorry. My name is Fiery Smoke," he said, showing her his cutie mark. It was gray smoke, resembling that he was a firefighter.
Wow, that's a nice name. My name is Radiance," she said.
"I hope you don't mind me asking, but can I interest you in a cup of coffee?" Fiery asked.
"Why, of course," the blushing mare replied, and they both trotted to the café. The two talked about their likes and dislikes, and how the world ran, and what they do at work. After a walk home and a kiss, they immediately started to date.
After ten months of laughing, talking, dating, and kissing, Fiery Smoke decided to pop up the question to Radiance with four words that changed their lives forever.
"Will you marry me?" He asked.
Radiance nodded, and hugged her new fiancé. The wedding commenced two months after, and their honeymoon was a blast. They decided to settle down in a town called Ponyville, a family-friendly town that they were welcomed to. After a few months of moving and getting settled. Radiance was announced pregnant. She and her husband were excited to bring a bundle of joy into the world. Okay, the husband part was exaggerated. After months of mood swings, eating for two, and constantly being yelled at, Fiery couldn't wait for the foal to be born. And it was finally time.
The doctors calmed Radiance down as she was screaming for the baby to get out of her. Fiery was outside of the delivery room, waiting for that beautiful-
"WAAAAUUUHHHHH," the little foal screamed. Fiery went straight in the delivery room.
"A baby girl," the doctor said. He immediately saw wings and said,"- and a Pegasus."
The nurse gave them their baby girl. Her fur was as golden as the sun. Eyes as brown as her father's. Her mane was separated into four colors: green, pink, white, and red. The decided to give her the name of Seasons because her mane resembles the four seasons. (You figure out which season is which.)
Two days after release, Radiance decided it was a good idea to brush Season's mane. Radiance sat her down on the floor, hoping that she wouldn't fly off again. After brushing three times, her brush hit something hard. She sat the brush down and dug through her mane, only to find something strange.
Umm, Fiery!" She called out. The stallion ran to the room she was in.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Look," she motioned him to come over and he saw something strange as well.
"A unicorn horn?" He said.
"You don't think," Radiance said nervously.
"We need to go to the hospital. Now," Fiery said.
They both raced to the hospital, calling the doctor's name. They explained what was wrong, and he took the baby for closer examination. After a few minutes, the doctor came back out with Season in his hoof.
"It appears that your little foal has both of your genes. Therefore she is an alicorn. She must be sent to the princesses immediately," he said, and the two parents looked at each other then back at the doctor.
"O-okay. Are you sure she's alright?" Radiance asked, and the doctor gave the baby back to her.
"She's fine. Trust me. Just go to Princess Celestia and bring this to her attention," the doctor said. The couple nodded and made their trip back to the Everfree Forest.
"Your highness, there is some pony who is urgent to see you," one of the royal guards said, and the other let the couple in.
"What is the emergency?" Princess Celestia asked.
Fiery used his magic to lift the foal from her mother. After a few seconds, Celestia saw the problem.
"Bring her to me," she said. Fiery laid his baby down on the ground carefully, and the princess picked the foal up.
"This foal cannot live with other ponies. She is an Alicorn, therefore she would be constantly watched and judged by other ponies. I do not want that to happen. She must live here," Princess Celestia said, and the couple was shocked.
"B-but that's our baby! You can't take her away from us!" Radiance shouted.
"I will allow a visit five times a year. She must be raised as a princess, so I have to keep her occupied with other things. I have no choice but to take her away. I am terribly sorry," the princess said.
"What?! No! You can't do this!" Radiance yelled. The guards ushered the two ponies away. They cried hard for the baby that was now the princess'.
"They can't do that!" Radiance said.
"Don't worry Radiance. We'll get her back," Fiery said.
But they never did. Instead, throughout the years, they had two more foals that were separate species. They would occasionally see their first born talking flying lessons from Princess Luna. Their other children watched at awe as the young princess flew through the sky, not knowing that she was their big sister.
Are you sure it was a good thing to take her away?" The other princess asked.
"I have no choice. She is a princess now." Celestia said. After realizing that was the only answer she was going to get, Princess Luna walked away to her bedroom.
Princess Celestia looked at the foal that was in her hooves.
"Adorable baby Seasons," she said.
