The little fawn watched in horror as blood splattered against the ground, her mother and sister were being eaten alive right infront of her, the grizzly bear shredded the skin of his victims, guts splattering on the green, swaying grass.
Dear Feather was horrified by this tragedy, she cried as the grizzly bear was ripping away at the bloody pieces of her only family, she clutched her soft, worn plush tight, hoping the bear wouldn't notice her.
The grizzly bear heard soft, quiet crying and turned around with a twisted, gory face, staring at Dear Feather, she stared back and stood still, she was scared. She knew the bear would charge at her in any second, then the bear walked away on his fours, paying no attention to Dear Feather.
The fawn quickly went over to the bodies and cried, praying to her dead family.
Years later, Dear Feather traveled to many towns and villages but had no satisfaction, none of the places she had gone to felt like home.
Then, she found Ponyville. It was the most wonderful place she had ever seen, but the people were different, they were a bit bigger, and their legs were less skinnier, they called themselves ponies.
They were different from deers, Dear Feather was confused, she went to a nice little cottage and knocked, minutes later a yellow pony answered with her long, pink hair in her face.
She seemed a bit bashful, but she was nice, her name was Fluttershy and Dear Feather got to know her very well, Fluttershy helped Dear Feather through town and showed her to many new places then introduced her to one of her own friends.
Twilight Sparkle was delighted to have a new resident, she knew that Pinkie Pie and the rest of her friends would like her, although she was different, very different.
Dear Feather went to Sugarcube Lane and went into the bakery, thus meeting a joyful pink pony with fluffy, cotton-candy like hair, her name was Pinkie Pie. Pinkie pie hopped up and down and said in a sing-song voice, "Hiya! What's your name? I'm Pinkie Pie and I run this bakery! We have lotsa sweets and cake and stuff like that!" Dear Feather smiled at the pink bundle of joy and said, "I'm Dear Feather, I'm different from ponies, I'm a deer." Pinkie Pie smiled and leaded Dear Feather happily to the Mayor. She had shown Dear Feather to her new home, a nice little built cottage and she wished Dear Feather good luck, Dear Feather started unpacking and she suddenly saw three little shadows in the dark.
