It's been a year since the changelings nearly succeeded in overthrowing Princess Celestia and taking control of Equestria. Now, a new enemy is threatening Equestria. The Sleestaks, a dangerous race of reptilian bipeds lead by the ruthless warlord Sol, have begun a campaign to invade Equestria and exterminate all ponykind. With the help of a forest-loving earthpony named Leaflock and a courageous pegasus named Ringo Star, Twilight Sparkle and her friends must don the guises of superhero Mare Do Well and sidekick Lightning Colt to fight for the freedom of Equestria.
