Seeking for a place to live after finishing college Octavia decided to go to a club. She didn't care which one as long as it had some wine. Her sore hooves made her tremble after a long day of searching. Finally finding a club to rest her hooves from carrying a cello on her back. She walked in not sure if this was a good place to get a drink. Shirley this was not a place she would usually go. There were many ponies that were drunk on alcohol. Ponies dancing to horrifying noise that was called modern music. She wouldn't enjoy listening to modern music and she wouldn't be able to fake liking this noise if she pretended to. And on of her many talents was acting. You can tell she was a classy pony who enjoy the sound of classic music because of what she was wearing. After a few moments the mare could finally stop observing the bar and counting the flaw that she could see. Ready to get a drink she walk up to the counter to order a drink. She walk slowly to avoid stepping on any pony lying on the floor. She could hardly believe that any pony can lay down let alone sleep with the booming music. The music was so loud that it made even the club shake. When she finally reach the counted she sat down on a stool gently placing her cello next to her. The bartender quickly ran to her to get her order.
"Your best wine please," she screamed hoping he can hear her over the loud noise. He then came back with a wine she never heard of and a wine glass. He gently poured the wine into the cup hoping it would not spill. After pouring her wine he left to get another pony order. Sipping with curiosity of the pony that was creating the ruckus, she search for the pony. After looking around she found the DJ making the noise. The unicorn had a yellowish white coat with electrifying blue hair. She wore sunglasses with a black frame and had dark purple lends that didn't allow you to see the unicorn's eyes. The unicorn then tapped another unicorn with a grayish blue coat and dark gray hair. The unicorn wore sunglasses that had thin black frames with dark blue lends. She was not surprise that he wore sunglasses. It seems all of the DJs wore sunglasses. She thought that they wore glasses to cover there eyes from the flashing light and to make themselves look cool. All of a sudden the electrifying mane unicorn stop the music.
"On yah. Neon Light every pony," the unicorn said through the microphone. The electrifing maned unicorn then exit the stage as the body guard followed. All the ponies wanted to touch the unicorn but the body guard didn't allow it. They act as if she was a famous pony. The unicorn sat on a stool that was three stools away from Octavia. Octavia look at the time, 8:30 she wasn't late for her concert and meeting. As soon as Octavia finish her wine she grabbed the cello, laying it gently on her back. As she walk out of the bar her cello bump in to some pony. She turn to see the electrifying blue mane pony looking at her. The body guard didn't seem so happy. Picking her up by the bow tie around her neck. Octavia didn't seem to worried about the guard.
"If you don't put me down this instance you will have all your hooves brocken," Octavia said in a clear voice.
"Why would I listen to you," the body guard said mockingly.
"Oviously because my mother and her guard can beat your flank out of Equestria," she said in a proud voice.
"Then who's your mother," he said while giggling.
"The princess of the night, Luna," she said truly.
The guard gently put the pony down. He didn't want to rist anything. Even if it was a lie. Unhappy about the guard moves the electrifying blue mane pony glared at the guard and stood up.
"Vinyl Scratch..... But call me DJ-pon 3," Vinyl said trying to introduct herself.
"Your a mare. I honestly thought you were a colt," she said embarrassedly.
"I get that a lot," Vinyl said trying to hind her blushing cheeks.
"I don't mean to offend you," Octavia said sweetly.
"It all cool," Vinyl said smoothly while nodding her head.
"Oh sorry. My name is Octavia, Octavia Melody," she said making a slow smile. As soon as the smile ended she look down at her watch to see the time, 9:45.
"Sorry Vinyl. I really need to be getting to a meeting in 15 minutes," she said trying to get through the crowd.
"Where do you have your meeting," Vinyl said while scratching the back of her heads.
"Canterlot Castle," She said trying to fing a way out.
"Canterlot Castle is far from here. It's impossible for you to get there by hoof. I'll drive you there," Vinyl said willingly.
"Sorry I can't take you up on that offer. We wouldn't want you to get fired because of me," The pony said.
She then took out her phone and started typing something Vinyl couldn't understand or see. After finishing typing Octavia put her phone away.
"Thanks for your help," she said turning around.
"How are you going to get to Canterlot Castle," Vinyl ask trying to get Octavia to look at her.
"My cousin is going to pick me up. He on his way," Octavia said trying not to burst out laughing.
"See ya," Vinyl said trying to sound all cool again.
After saying those words then door bust open. Everyone was looking at the pony. Then they cleared a path for him to get through. Finally the DJ could see who the pony was. Standing there frozen and staring at the prince in front of her. Then Octavia tap the pony's back as if the prince was a normal pony. He turned around.
"Octavia. You should really speak up or else I might of called the guards on you," he said trying to catch his breath.
"You breathing hard. Where you scared? Because you are a prince and head of the royal guards," she trying not to laugh at his highness.
"No!" Shinning Armor said turning around to see the DJ and ponies staring.
"Can a prince have some privacy," the royal guard yell hoping they will listen. In an instant every pony turn around.
He colt stared down seeing the DJ still staring.
"Oh sorry but is that a Harry Potter scar on your forehead," Vinyl ask.
"Are you, your DJ-pon 3, because I'm a big fan of you music," Shinning said trying not to squeal and jump up-and-down like a fan girl.
"Yah, I didn't think royalty would notice me because are you, no offense, supposed to be very elegant and very snotty " she said and tried to smile it away
Everything began to get quiet.
"I'm not really snotty or elegant but this one is," sinning stared bumping Octavia's arm.
"Yah I notice," she said.
"A excuse me but you know I'm here and perfectly able to hear," Octavia said trying not to punch Shinning's stomach.
"It nice needing you but we have a meeting to go to," Octavia's voice got rough and then pulled Shinning's ear like he was a filly.
Vinyl then use her magic and pulled a pen and paper out of her hair. And wrote something on it. Then with her magic floated it to Shinning's hoof.
"Hey Octavia, Shinning call me," turning away to get back to what ever she was doing.
