Following the failed invasion of Canterlot Chrysalis wanders the Everfree forest alone, starving and with no memory of who or what she is.

A panicked flight takes her to Fluttershy's door, and it falls to the element of kindness to nurse Chrysalis back to health, despite the warnings of her friends not to help her.
