My Little Pony: Age of Extinction

“Spike, I want you to write to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna that we will be arriving at Canterlot with a guest today” Twilight said to Spike as she climbed into Optimus’ cab.

“You can count on me Twilight!” Spike said as he ran off to write the letter. Twilight then used her magic to open the doors to her castle as Optimus suddenly drove out the castle and into Ponyville.

Twilight looked out the window as Optimus drove her and her friends through Ponyville towards the path leading to Canterlot. Simply put, it was a lot faster than by hoof. “Make a left up here Optimus” Twilight said as they neared the Train Station. Optimus turned left pulling up towards the building and slowed to a stop.

“Why have we arrived here?” Optimus asked through his radio as the girls got out.

“Silly! Train is the fastest way to Canterlot” Pinkie Pie said hoping towards the station. Optimus sighed as Pinkie Pie clearly doesn’t get hes an off-worlder and transformed back into robot mode and looked at Twilight.

“I am pretty sure I will not be able to fit inside your train cars Twilight” he said to which Twilight blushed in embarrassment.

“Oops… I was kinda figuring you could just remain in your… other form on the cargo car for the trip… if you don’t mind that is” she said as Optimus turned towards a flatbed car and frowned.

“Negative. My size and weight in my truck form would be too much for it… However…” Optimus said turning towards the train itself, “I have an idea…” Optimus then stood up and walked towards the train, making sure not to step on anypony. The train’s engineer was getting ready to enter the train when he felt the ground rumble. Turning around to see what it was, his jaw dropped at the sight of a massive robot walking towards him. Optimus leaned down looking the train over, then its engineer.

“Excuse me. I need to borrow your rails for abit.” Optimus said as he stepped over the tracks. The girls all ran over to him and had their jaws drop at what they saw next. Optimus suddenly shot twin blue beams of light at the train, and had them comb the train inside and out for how it worked. Suddenly Optimus stopped firing the lasers and turned around, getting on his hands and knees. Optimus then began to transform into his Semi-Truck mode, having his wheels land on the rails. Before anybody could ask what he planned, Optimus begun to transform AGAIN. Suddenly his rubber wheels morphed into train wheels, locking him onto the tracks. His truck cab slid backwards as his smokestacks moved forward. His hood began to remorph into that of a train’s engine, with his smokestacks becoming the sides of the train. Within seconds, Optimus had went from robot, to truck, to Diesel Train complete with a flaming paint job.

The girls gasped as the new train pulled up towards them and blew its whistle for them to board. Twilight shook her head in shock and began to go into her fit of questions. “What? How? Why? How often can you do that?” Before she could spit anymore out, Applejack covered her friends mouth and began walking into the new train.

“Well ask questions later. Im pretty sure Princess Celestia is just anxious to meet our new friend.” Optimus sat there listening and mentally sighed wondering if he could really be their friends after his past… but for now, he had a destination to head towards.

CANTERLOT 1 HOUR LATER

The Canterlot guards were standing by the train station awaiting orders from Princess Celestia herself. She told them that the next train will have Princess Twilight and her friends, as well as a new guest with them, and to bring them to her as soon as possible. However, they weren’t expecting a horn to be going off from the tunnel as a massive steal train pulled out of there and up to the train station. The guards stood to attention as Twilight and her friends got off the train.

“Princess Twilight, we weren’t expecting you for another hour. The Princess mentioned you would be bringing a guest with you.” One of the guards said as Twilight smiled and nodded.

“You had better make room. Hes quite large.” Twilight said look back at the train. Before the guards could ask what guest, they dropped their weapons and backed up as a massive arm formed from the train and landed on the station deck. The guards looked up as the entire train transformed into a massive metal titan. “Guards, meet our new friend, Optimus Prime” Twilight said as Optimus leaned over them and inspected them.

“I hope I did not frighten any of you” he said sincerely as the guards gathered themselves and stood up.

“Were sorry. We knew Princess Twilight was bringing her guest by train… We just didn’t know her guest WAS the train.” Optimus nodded and leaned onto the platform, suddenly transforming back into Semi-Truck mode, having the guards jaw drop more as the girls walked over to them.

“So, are we going, or are you gonna stare at the big guy all day?” Rainbow asked the guards as they snapped to it.

“Follow us.” the captain said as they began marching towards the castle. The girls began following them as Optimus began driving after them, scanning around the area around them, seeing that the ponies around him were much different to the ones in Ponyville… mostly because they didn’t seem to care that a massive alien vehicle was driving down their roads. Apparently these ponies had more in common with humans than he realized.

Soon they were heading inside the massive castle. “Princess Celestia and Princess Luna are awaiting you in the throne room Princess Twilight.” The captain said bowing before her as she smiled and thanked the guard for his services.

“This way Optimus” Twilight said as they walked down the halls towards the throne. Optimus began rolling after them, scanning the area around studying the ponies work on the building, being impressed by what they could do with just hooves. Nothing compared to back on Cybertron, but still. The throne room doors suddenly began opening up as the girls and Optimus went inside. Standing at the other of the room were two ponies, who much like Twilight, had both a horn and wings, but were much larger and wore more Regal gear on them. Optimus guessed by their colors that Princess Celestia was the white mare on the left while Luna was the dark blue mare on the right.

“Twilight!” Celestia said while walking over to Princess Twilight as Twilight ran to her hugging each other. “It is good to see you Twilight. As well as the rest of your friends” Celestia says looking towards Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie. Princess Luna walked over and begun examining the strange vehicle that entered with them, then turned to Twilight.

“Excuse us Twilight, but didn’t you say you were bringing a guest with you?” She asked as Twilight turned towards her.

“Why yes I did. Your standing right by him.” Twilight said as Celestia and Luna both looked at her dumbfounded.

“Twilight… I don’t think this… can be considered a guest.” Celestia said as she looked the truck over.

“Negative.” Suddenly a deep voice came from the truck in response to Celestia. Luna and Celestia both jumped back as the truck began transforming into a metal titan kneeling before them.

“Princess Celestia, Princess Luna… Meet Optimus Prime.” Twilight said as Optimus looked them over.

“It is a pleasure to meet you both.” Optimus said as the Princess’s got back on their feet.

“It is a pleasure to meet you as well.” Celestia said as she offered her hoof to shake. Optimus nodded and gently shook her hoof.

Princess Luna looked the metal giant in front of them over, then asked, “Why exactly are you here Optimus?”

Optimus sighed and looked towards her. “I have merely crash landed on your planet while on my quest to locate my creators.”

“OH OH!!! WHAT FOR? TO SAY THANKS FOR MAKING ME? YOUR BUILT-DAY?” Pinkie Pie started asking before Applejack stuck her hoof in her friends mouth and turned to her. “Perhaps he’ll tell us if you don’t interrupt him.” Pinkie Pie then nodded and turned to listen. Optimus smiled softly at the ponies innocents, wishing his kind could be like this. However, his face went back towards a frown as Twilight turned back towards him almost missing the smile.

“Negative… I am far from bringing joy towards my creators…” Optimus said as the ponies gave a confused look towards him. “Perhaps you should start at the beginning Optimus” Twilight said to which he nodded, and placed a hand on the side of his head, suddenly shooting twin laser beams from his eyes, producing a large hologram before them.

“Before time began… There was… the Cube. We know not where it comes from. Only that it holds the power to create worlds, and fill them with life. That is how our race was born. For a time we lived in harmony, but like all great power, some wanted it for good, others, for evil… And so began the war… A war that ravaged our planet until it was consumed by death, and the cube was lost to the far reaches of space. We scattered across the galaxy, hoping to find it, and rebuild our home. Searching every star… Every world! And just when all hope seemed lost, message of a new discovery drew us to an unknown planet called earth…. But we were already to late…

“The Decepticons managed to beat us to earth first, and begun searching the planet in hopes of finding a clue about where the Allspark was, and where their leader, Megatron, were located. I sent my scout Bumblebee ahead of my team of Autobots to search for a young boy who held a clue to finding the Allspark. Soon after Bumblebee landed and hid himself from the lifeforms known as ‘humans’, he soon located the boy known as Sam Witwicky, and summoned my team to earth to meet with Sam in hopes that he could help us. I, my Second-in-Command Jazz, Weapon Specialist Ironhide, and Medical Officer Ratchet arrived on earth, and after scanning our vehicular forms, met with the boy, a young female named Mikala who got caught up in our situation, and Bumblebee. Thankfully, Sam agreed to help us.

“We drove over to Sam’s house so he could hand us the clue to the Allsparks location, which was located on his Grandfather glasses after he had an encounter with a frozen Megatron. However, before we could obtain the glasses, Sam and Mikala were taken by a secret government force known as Sector 7 for questions about us. But we intersected them, getting the humans and glasses back. However, more of Sector 7 were made known of our whereabouts, and we had to escape. I carried the humans away while my Autobots transformed and rolled out as the agents arrived. I managed to hide with the humans underneath a bridge as the agents passed underneath us. However, the humans lost their grip on me and begun falling towards their doom. But at the last second, Bumblebee transformed and caught them. However, he was suddenly caught by Sector 7 and they captured him and the humans. My Autobots and I were forced to stand by and watch as Bumblebee was taken from us, as there would have been no way of freeing him without harming the humans. But before we lost hope, I noticed that the glasses had fallen off of Sam.

“We used the glasses and figured out that the Allspark was near, and made our way towards a national monument known as the Hoover Dam. But before we reached it, we intercepted Bumblebee and the humans with Sector 7 agents protecting them as they drove towards the closest city. Turning around, we followed them towards the city, but not without some unwanted company. It turned out the Decepticons knew we had the Allspark and gave chase. One of them transformed and begun smashing humans and vehicles out of the way to get to us, putting humans in danger. I transformed and pushed him off the highway and onto a lower section, where I soon was able to slice his head off, ending his life. I transformed and made my way towards the city, just in time to see my life long enemy, and brother, Megatron, rip Jazz in two, ending his life. Megatron and I locked optics and instantly went into battle. However, Megatron was able to best me and knock me away as he gave chase after Sam, who was carrying the Allspark to safety.

“Megatron unfortunately caught up to Sam before he could get the Allspark outta the city, and smashed the roof he was on, having Sam fall to his death as punishment for not handing over the Allspark. However, I had managed to get towards the building as Sam was falling off and caught him, and begun my decent back towards the ground. But Megatron, in pure rage, jumped after us, and made me almost lose my grip on Sam as we crashed into the solid ground. I asked Sam to push the Allspark into my chest if I couldn’t stop Megatron, knowing it would destroy the Allspark as well as my own life. I began rising to my feet, as did Megatron, as we got ready for our final battle. Megatron unfortunately had gotten the upper hand, and I was losing fast, even with help from the humans military. I turned towards Sam and begged him to push the cube into my chest. However, Sam chose to push the cube into Megatron’s chest. The raw power of the Allspark overloaded Megatron’s circuits, ending his life.

“With the Allspark destroyed, we could not return life to our home… But fate had revealed its reward. A new world to call…. Home. We lived among its people hiding in plain sight, but watching over them in secret. Waiting… Protecting… I had witnessed their capacity for courage, and though we are worlds apart… Like us, theres more to them than meets the eye.  I sent a message out into space, inviting all Autobots who were out there to come to earth. And come they did.”
