Load Full StorySweetie Bot sat at the kitchen table staring at a large stack of chocolate chip pancakes.
"Sweetie Belle? Why aren't you touching your breakfast? I made it special for you and everything!" Rarity asked.
Sweetie didn't know what to say, she glanced around for a moment and noticed the window. A plan crossed her mind and she decided to go for it. "Sister could you turn around for a moment?" She asked.
"Why?" Rarity asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Because, uh, I'm a nervous.... eater! Yeah, a nervous eater! It's really hard for me to eat when other life forms are watching me." She explained.
Rarity stared at her for a moment before shrugging and doing as she had asked. "Sure, I suppose. I just hope you're not planning something absolutely dev-" A shattering noise interrupted her mid sentence as she turned around.
Sweetie Bot's plate was empty, and the window was shattered with half a pancake handing from one of the shards of glass.
"Sweetie Belle? Did you throw your pancakes out the window?" Rarity asked, both astonished that she managed to shatter a window with six pancakes and rather irate that she did so in the first place.
"Um, no. Mortimer stole them and flew out the window." Sweetie Bot lied.
"Mortim- Okay young mare, stop lying this instant!" Rarity demanded.
"I'm not-" Sweetie Bot Protested. "-look out the window."
Rarity glanced out the window to find an old, fat stallion leaning against a tree eating a pancake violently a little over four yards away from the boutique.
"Oh." Rarity said, dumbstruck that such a thing actually happened.
As Rarity trotted into the shop/living room, Sweetie Bot nodded to Mortimer, who proceeded to nod back, putting on shades as he began to trot away slowly.

After the rather eventful morning Sweetie Bot had, she grabbed her saddle bags, equipped them, and proceeded to the door. As she opened the door, she received a shock to her circuits as her to were positioned outside it, apparently waiting for her.
" 'bout time ya came out! We've been waitin' here for an hour and a half! " Apple Bloom barked.
Scootaloo just rolled her eyes. "It was her idea to wait here for two hours, then break into your house and kidnap you." Scootaloo admitted, seeming rather vexed.
Apple Bloom was taken aback by what came out of her mouth. "Why ah never!"
Scootaloo held up a piece of crumpled up paper she had in her mane for some odd reason. "You wrote it down and shoved it at me."
"Oh... well uh, you wanted to gag her an-" Scootaloo silenced her with a hoof to the mouth.
"WE NEVER SPEAK OF THAT!" She yelled.
You would imagine Sweetie Bot would be amused by this, but her attention was fixated on something elsewhere. Her two friends slowly caught on and followed her gaze to a colt wearing a sort of spin top hat holding a hand held video game of sorts.
"Who is that?" Sweetie Bot asked.
Apple Bloom shrugged while Scootaloo looked as if she was trying to recollect her memories.
"Ah! That's uh... Button Flash! No, Mash! Button Mash!" She said.
"I am going to speak to this life form." She state, confidently trotting his way.
Without hesitation, she grabbed the colt's shoulder, whipping his attention to her instantly.
"Ow! Hey, you're grip is like iron!" Button Mash cried.
"Well it is not! It is made of soft tissue and keratinised structures!" She said, but as his eyes found their way to hers, her grip loosened.
She felt a sort feeling of happiness and asphyxiation at the same time. She began to feel excited, frightened, unnerved, happy, and nervous all at the same time. You could imagine how hard that would be for a sentient life form such as Sweetie Bot, who was still very new to emotion period.
"Um, are you alright?" The colt asked, snapping Sweetie Bot back to reality.
"Oh! Why yes. I am alright." She said, staring at him.
"Are you sure? You've been staring at me for the past fifteen minutes with those wide eyes of yours." He asked once more.
"Yes! I am fine! What is the matter with you!" She screamed, running away from him.

That night she had barely gotten to sleep when she heard something peculiar from the other side of the room where her window was. She immediately deactivated her sleep protocol and hopped out of bed with a loud thud. She froze, trying to detect movement from her sister's room. Nothing. She focused her attention at her window until she noticed a pebble hit it once more. She cautiously approached it, powered by sheer curiosity. She froze when a large rock was launched through her window, shattering it.
Sweetie Bot ran to the window and glanced down. There, standing below her window was the colt. He noticed her presence and waved her to come down.
At first she was hesitant, not wanting to be caught by her older sibling, who lay sleeping across the hall. She argued with herself for just a moment before engaging her stealth sequence and clumsily climbing down the stairs. As she made her way out the front door, she found that Button Mash went around to the front to greet her.
"Why did you run away?" He asked.
"No reason! Shut up!" She barked.
"Oh come on, there has to be a reason?" The colt pushed.
"Yeah! There is! My, uh, face itched!" She stammered.
"Then why didn't you itch it?" He continued to push.
"Because reasons! Shut up!" She barked once more.
He let out a quiet chuckle. "You really are a strange girl you know that?"
"No, you're a strange girl!" She mimicked in hopes he would back off.
"I'm a 'strange girl'?" He asked, tilting his head.
Silence blanketed the area.
Button Mash finally broke the silence not with words, but with a hug. As much as this surprised Sweetie Bot, she didn't do anything. She was frozen ironically with a feeling of warmth. She cracked a small smile, which she broke as he pulled away.
"Ha ha, you're funny. Anyway, I'm gonna go. If I stay out too long my mom's gonna kill me!" He said in a cheery tone before trotting off.
Sweetie sat there questioning herself. She was just angry at him, but now she couldn't help but to smile. It confused her beyond belief, so she decided to put it decide and creep back inside.

The next morning was a typical one. went to the kitchen, broke another window feeding Mortimer, grabbed her saddle bags, and met up with her two best friends. The day went by as it did typically. They hurt themselves both mentally and physically trying to receive the mark that would make them feel better about themselves, yet their iron wills left them unscathed in the end. The difference about this day, was she saw him again.
She approached him with a smile, which caused him to narrow his eyes.
"Hello!" She greeted him cheerily.
"Hello?" He greeted her back cautiously.
"How is your afternoon?" She asked.
"It's pretty decent, I suppose. Um, why are you so-"
"-So what?" She asked, not breaking her almost creepy smile.
He opened his mouth to say something, but slowly shut it and smiled warmly. They chatted for a moment about how their day was going and what they were going to do for the rest of the day before finally agreeing to meet later that night. Both of them trotted away from each other, each with a prominent smile on their faces.
