"Silver Quill wandered around Ponyville with no obvious intention on what it was he was going to do that day; perhaps he'd cause some havoc toward the locals, or cause concern by looking up at the nothingness in front of him by talking to himself. Though he was pretty sure he wasn't going to do that because he didn't want the doctors at the insane asylum to take him back after he worked so hard to get time out for " sane behavior." Besides, the food there was just awful," my quill raced along the parchment, being swiftly guided by the orange and green magic emanating from my horn. I just knew that I had to write down everything that happened before I forgot completely, even now my memory was starting to get fuzzy but I never was the best at retaining general information.

I could feel a tall presence behind me and his shadow blocked the light I was needing to do this properly. I did my best to pay him no mind. I knew why he was there and probably should've said something but I was too preoccupied. Finally he spoke, "Eve, what are you doing?"

I tried to keep my quill to the paper. "I'm writing or, rather, I'm trying to document all that happened today."

He read over what I had already written and I turned marginally to look at him. Silver was at least a head and a half taller than me, which I was thankful for as if he were more my height, his beak might just poke my eye out. The loud crunch that followed made me direct my eyes to the cookie in his claw. I glared at him because it was clear he didn't get me one. I rolled up the parchment quickly and hid it behind my back. He looked at me, a little confused.

"Instead of reading this over my shoulder, you can read it properly in Sugar Cube Corner while treating me to a glass of milk and a nice double chocolate chunk cookie."

To my slight surprise, I was soon sitting across from Silver Quill, dunking my double chocolate chunk cookie into my tall glass of cool milk.I didn't think he'd actually get me a cookie, I thought, watching him read the small paragraph that I had written.

Eventually, after a drink of milk, he said, "Why is this in third equine?"

I stared at him almost blankly. "That's the only problem you have with it?" He nodded. "Well it's like that because I don't want people to think that I'm putting myself in because I'm trying to brag about knowing you."

"That's ridiculous," he stated, looking just as ridiculous with cooking crumbs on his beak, "you were there so you should write it like that."

"First equine, then?"

He nodded.

"Well, alright," I sighed, taking the quill and parchment, "here goes."
