Well that was unexpected.
uhhh... what's happening?
'This was it! The Equestria Games were here!' The young grey pegasus thought to herself. She had been saving up her bits all year! And finding extra money after paying bills to support her daughter, was not exactly the easiest thing. The poor mare already had two day jobs: being the best darn mailmare in all of Equestria, and running a small business on the side of making her famous signature muffins, and selling the delicious baked treats to all of the citizens of ponyville! Problem was, she was not exactly the most coordinated at times. You see, as a filly she had developed a slightly rare vision deficiency that caused both of her eyes to askew away from eachother in vertical directions. Most of the time, with (or without) her mail or muffin bag strapped on, she could pretty easily lift off. In fact, actually just flying in a general direction wasn't too hard for her either... It was the landing that was difficult to her. She would try so hard to focus on her target and land safely standing up, but more times then not, she would fly straight into her costumers house, usually breaking something she'd have to pay to fix. Which, as you can put together, really put a damper on the whole "saving her bits" thing.
Well! The day was here! The day of the Equestria Games. Having already arranged for Mr. and Mrs. Cake to watch over her daughter, Dinky Doo, in exchange for some poppy seed mini muffins for their twins. Let's face it, her signature muffins really are famous, even to the littlest of ones!
Having already dropped off Dinky, the blonde hair mare grabbed her bag she had previously filled with essentials: muffin snacks, berry juice boxes, and anything else she might need, but didn't want to pay for, including a headshot picture of the famous stallion Wonderbolt, Soarin'.
That was who she was going to see. The Wonderbolts. The fastest flying ponies in all of Equestria! Not to mention their dreamy star stallion, Soarin', who she was finally going to get an autograph from!
As you might have guessed, this young grey pegasus has quite the little crush on a certain star Wonderbolt.

The Wonderbolts were performing in the half time show, and since they were the only event she really wanted to see, she came up with a plan: that she would spend the first half of the show walking around and trying to find a souvenir for Dinky, watch the half time show event, run to the line for the Wonderbolt signings booth as quick as she possibly could (without crashing into something) and leave right after so that she could pick up her daughter, she knew Dinky was in good hands with the Cakes, she just did not want to feel like she was taking advantage of their generosity.

Over the loud speaker above her she heard, "Now representing ponyville, the Cutie Mark Crusaders!" The opening intro to the games had begun, so nopony was in the the halls except for her and the vendors. She would have a good long time before people would start coming out to look at things. As she headed out into the halls she suddenly thought, 'Maybe I should use the restroom real quick, before it gets all dirtied up.' She looked up and saw a sign with an arrow pointing down and to the right, saying:
"Ladies room two halls over."
On her way there, she must have stumbled over, because before she knew it, she was face down on the floor, bag spilled out, and completely disoriented. As she gathered herself and stood back up, she realized she had no idea where she was! The closest sign she could see from where she was just said, "down stairs this way."
"Welp," she said aloud, "all stairs gotta lead somewhere!"
With her can-do, happy go lucky, positive attitude, she began walking down the stairs.
"Ahh! Ow ow ow ow ow owwww!"
She yelled outloud as she tripped over her feet and fell down the stairs, scuffing her knee on the way down. When she tried to stand up, she immediately fell right back down, dropping all her stuff... again.
"OWWWW SHIT! MY ANKLE!!!"
She stopped screaming, immediately, realizing what she had just said. She will have to remember to put a bit in the swear jar for Dinky later.
She cried and winced in pain as she tried to pull herself together to get the rest of the way down the seemingly endless stairs.
"Hello?"
'Who was that?' She thought to herself.
"Hello? Is somepony there?"
Without any better idea of how to get herself up, she cried out loud down the stairs to the unfamiliar voice,
"Yes! Please! Somepony halp meh..."
As her words slurred, she noticed she started to feel dizzy. She put her hand up to her head. 'Uh oh,' she thought, feeling a knot on the back of her head.
The young grey pegasus' eyelids began to feel heavy, blinking one at a time over her yellow-gold crossed eyes, and just before her both her eyes fully closed, right before she passed out, she could have sworn she saw a fuzzy blue blob walking her way.

Her eyes fluttered open... 'Where the hay am I?' She thought to herself.
"OUCH!" She yelped alloud as she tried to stand up on her own.
Falling straight back down, to relieve the pain she was in. She laid her hand on the back of her aching head, finding a small knot amongst her long yellow hair. As her catycornered eyes agreed on what to focus on, she panned her surrounding: simultaniously remembering bit by bit what had happened. She propped herself up on her elbows, acknologing the fact that she was sitting on a blue and lightening striped love seat. As she continued looking around; first seeming a mirror, lined with bright large lights, a table with a small bowl of mixed nuts and a half finished bottle of vitamin water, and an empty clothes rack.
Just as she finished looking around the small room, the door across from her opened. She froze still, anxious as to see who would walk through. 'A stallion. A pegasus. Dark blue hair.' As she took in the side view of her company in the room...
'Oh. My. Celestia. That's Soarin'!' She thought to herself as she layed propped up, stunned in silence.
Not seeming to notice her their, the stallion began undressing himself. Zipping down the front of his one piece Wonderbolt suit.
Still lost of words and frozen in silence, she thought, 'oh dear... He doesn't know I'm here, I can't let him continue undressing with me in here, it would be like an invasion of privacy or something.
The stallion continued to unzip his suit.
'Oh dear, I need to say something' she began to think.
Just as his zipper reached his hips, his suit opening up just enough that from the mares point of view, you could just see the elastic band of his black boxer briefs...
'Cough, cough' she faked out loud.
"Oh, hey! You're up!" Soarin' said to his guest.
Soarin', continuing to undress as if he wasn't bothered by having the young made in the room with him, hsaid to her, "I'm guessing you're a little confused." Letting a small smirkish grin appear on his face.
The mare turned away, blushing an intense red from seeing her idle so exposed. "Uh, yeah... A little... Haha..." She let out a nervous laugh, still amazed that this was actually happening. "Um, not to whatever yknow..." She mumbled trying to gather some words that actually made sense in the same sentence. "Well, without any way of putting it, where am I, and how exactly did I get here?"

So this is kinda a short start, but I really hope it turned of well.
I've found very few stories and pictures of Derpy and Soar in' together. But the ship just makes so much sense to me! One of Equestrias' best fliers, with one of Equestrias' worst fliers? It just seems so right to me! And I really hope you all think so too! I mean, come on, even for y'all Doctor Whooves and Derpy Hooves ship fans, y'all have to admit that it's at least a pretty cute idea. I mean y'all don't HAVE to admit it, just... Oh you get what I mean! Anyways, here you go! And again, constructive critisism, AND questions and comments are very welcome.
