Humans have never had a First Contact with any alien race go well. But when a probe sent to a distant star finds a geocentric world populated by ponies, they just cant help but take a look.

Major Tamsin, the first human to set foot on Equis has orders to live as low key as she can on the pony planet for a few decades to learn as much about ponies as possible so humans can ensure a peaceful First Contact. It shouldn't be too hard, human technology can easily give her a pony form to use and at least these people have basics electricity and running water! Unfortunately while landing for the first time her ship is hit by a massive rainbow shock wave and she winds up landing in a changeling hive instead. With the help of a Changeling friend living amongst ponies can't be to hard. Right?
