A primitive planet, inhabited by a strange species known as Mobians. A strange world that has seen its share of warfare, and will have plenty more to come. Equestria…. A young but lively world, inhabited by strange looking equines of all shapes and sizes. While not as old as Mobius… it too has seen its share of darkness. Both of these worlds inhabit their own Dimension, but in order to obtain what I need to conquer the Multiverse, I must bring these worlds together in order to obtain the ultimate power… and then…. NO ONE WILL BE ABLE TO STOP ME!!!” ‘BOOM’ A missile hit the pathway causing a tree to be knocked over. A second later 4 blurs were running down the path towards the tree. “JUMP GUYS!” yelled one of the blurs as it jumped over the tree and begun catching up to the source of the missile. “HEY EGGHEAD!!!” it shouted as it came up to a flying pod. A man looked out over the side of the pod and looked at the blur to see a Blue Hedgehog running by him. “GAH, HOW DID YOU GET HERE SO FAS-wait…. MY NAME IS EGGMAN!!! YOU KNOW MY NAME IS DR. EGGMAN!!!! YOUR DOING THAT ON PURPOSE!!!” The hedgehog smirked and looked up at Eggman saying “WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT EGGHEAD?” The hedgehog chuckled as the other 3 blurs caught up to him. “SONIC!!!” one of them shouted causing him to turn his head around to see a fox with two tails flying after him at nearly his speed. “WAIT FOR US SONIC!!!” Sonic sighed as his “buddies” came running up to him. “Gezz Tails, you DO know I can handle Eggman by myself, right?” Tails sighed and nodded. “Ya, but we want to help Sonic!” The third blur suddenly ran up to Sonic revealing a pink hedgehog. “Sonic, you have GOT to stop trying to Eggman on alone! Your gonna get hurt one of these days and were not going to be there to help you!” Sonic chuckled and suddenly turned around running backwards. “Relax Amy! This is Egghead were talking about! The day one of his plans works is the day…. Well, his plans NEVER work, so no point in even going there!” Sonic says as he spins around only to see Dr. Eggman fire a rampage of missiles at the path, destroying it entirely! “WOAH WOAH WOAH!!!!!” Sonic shouts as he tries to skid to a halt only for a massive hand to grab his arm before he flew off the edge. “As you were saying Sonic?” the owner of the massive hand asked as Sonic turned around to see a buffed up Echidna looking at him. Sonic frowned and looked up as Eggman flew away in the distance, laughing out of control. “Aw man, he got away!” Sonic said as he kicked a rock down the hole. “I coulda caught him if you hadn’t of stopped me Knuckles.” Sonic said as he turned back to his friends. Knuckles growled at Sonic as Amy walked up to him. “Sonic, you are so FULL of yourself! This attitude you’ve gotten is gonna get you killed one of these days!!! Heck, you almost died just now if it weren’t for Knuckles saving you!!!” Sonic frowned replying “I could of used my spindash to launch myself back up!” Tails looked over the edge and shook his head. “There would have been no chance of that. There isn’t anything down the hole you could of used to launch yourself back up, meaning you would have been stuck down there for sometime.” Sonic shrugged and began walking away. “Well, we might as well head back to the village. Nothing else we can do here since Egghead escaped.” He said as he took off down a different path. Tails, Knuckles, and Amy all sighed and followed after him. Meanwhile, on another plain of existence… 6 ponies were walking out of a forest towards an old abandoned castle. “Twilight, Darling, whatever are we returning here for? You already have your own castle in Ponyvile. Why do you wish to return here?” a white Unicorn with a purple mane and tail asked her friend. Twilight Sparkle sighed about her friend’s picky ways and turned towards her. “Because Rarity, Ive been having this strange dream for the past few weeks about the Tree of Harmony. I just have this feeling that something big is gonna happen, and Equestria will need us to be there to stop it once more.” Rarity nodded and followed quietly behind knowing her complaining was gonna get to her friends. As the girls approached the area, they made a horrible discovery. The Tree of Harmony… WAS GONE! //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: The Transformation //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1: The Transformation Twilight ran into the Castle of the Two Sisters’ Library with her friends closely following and began going through all the books trying to find a reason as to why the Tree of Harmony has vanished. “I just don’t get it!” Twilight said after looking up from her hundredth book, “How could the Tree of Harmony just DISAPPEAR?” “I don’t know Twi, but Im betting that might have sometime to do with it,” an orange earth pony said as she looked out the window. “Applejack, what are you talking abOUUUT!!!” Twilight screamed as she saw a large building out in the distance. “Where did that come from?” a Cyan Pegasus asked flying up to the window. “I don’t know Rainbow Darling…. But it cant be good…” Rarity said. “Maybe we should go see what it is?” Rainbow Dash asked to which Twilight replied, “No, we should go to Princess Celestia and see what she thinks!” Twilight said. “But Twilight!!! We might not have enough time!!! There could be something evil there and we need to take it down!” a hyper pink pony said to the princess. “Pinkie Pie has a point” said the last pony, a yellow Pegasus, “Maybe… we could split up?” “Hmmm, you both have a point. Alright, well split up,” Twilight said to the group, “Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie, you go see what that building over there is and see if it’s dangerous. Rarity, Fluttershy, and I will go see the princess.” Everypony nodded their heads and went on their missions. Twilight Sparkle and her friends teleported to the Kingdom of Canterlot and ran to Princess Celestia’s throne room as fast as their hoofs could. “Princess Celestia!!! Its urgent!!!” She shouted as they burst into the room. “Yes Princess Twilight?” Princess Celestia said as she turned around from her book. “Princess… The Tree of Harmony… IS GONE!!!” Twilight said as Celestia gasped and ran to the window. “Impossible… Wait… whats that in the distance?” Celestia asked squinting her eyes spotting the building in the distance. “We have no idea Princess… we saw it while looking in the library of the old castle for answers to the tree’s disappearance… Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie have already gone that way to check it out.” Rarity told her. “Then we must quickly join them before anything bad can happen!” the Princess commanded and called for her sister. As the group ran to the door, they heard a massive noise in the distance and stopped on a dime. “What was that Sister?” Princess Luna asked as Celestia walked to the window and gasped. A massive explosion had erupted from the building for a couple of seconds then died out. “What was that about?” Twilight asked to which Futtershy replied, “I don’t know… but I hope it wasn’t serious…” EARLIER “COME ON GUYS, HURRY UP!!!” Rainbow Dash said as she flew through the trees of the Everfree forest towards the strange building that had appeared. “Well maybe if ya Slowed down there Rainbow, or not fly, we’d be able to keep up with ya!” Applejack said as she and Pinkie Pie ran after her. “But if I don’t fly, we might lose sight of that building!” Rainbow Dash retorted. “Ugh, fine… but at least slow down a bit?” Applejack asked. “She cant” Pinkie Pie said, “cause were there!” Applejack looked up and saw the building in front of them. It was like nothing she had ever seen before. The technology on it was far more advanced than anything shes seen in Equestria, with a massive symbol that looked like a face on the back of the building. “Wow… this place sure is fancy…” Applejack said as Rainbow Dash landed next to them. “Think we should go inside and check it out?” Pinkie Pie asked as she noticed the door in front of them. “Of course! We need to report back to Twilight what this thing is and if its dangerous or not” Rainbow said as she opened the door and ran inside, with the other two mares sighing and ran after her. “Wow, this place is MASSIVE” Pinkie Pie said as they walked down a long white hallway. “And kinda scary looking…” Applejack said. They had walked past hundreds of locked doors, with only a few unlocked. Most of them were labs with massive strange metal beings standing on two legs with strange weapons on them. They came to the end of the hallway to see a giant lab with strange buttons and levers all over, with tubes hanging from the ceiling. “I wonder what this is all for…” Rainbow said as she flew up to one of the consoles. Applejack walked over to a strange circle in the middle of the room and looked up to see a glass tube hovering over it. “What in tarnation is this for?” Pinkie Pie walked over to it and stared at it. “Perhaps its some kind of teleporter?” she asked as a figure watched from above. “Yes… just get under the circle, and then I can begin the experiment hehe” it whispered to itself as it slowly reached for a lever. “Hey, whats that up there?” Applejack asked as she looked up at some small holes in the ceiling. “Hmm?” Rainbow Dash asked and flew over and up to see the holes. “Hehe, perfect.” The figure pulled the lever as the glass tube suddenly slid down sealing them in. The girls screamed in terror as a strange creature stepped out from the shadow’s. “Hehehehe, so nice of you all to visit,” the creature said as it adjusted its glasses. “What… or who ARE you?” Rainbow Dash asked as it walked over to another console and began flipping some levers. “Well, if you must know, my name is Dr. Eggman, though I don’t expect that to mean much to you.” Eggman soon pressed a button that caused the holes on the top of ceiling to begin letting out a strange gas causing the girls to start freaking out and began trying to break the glass. “Hehe, nice try, but the glass is to strong for you to break. The gas you are now inhaling is meant to alter your very DNA. Make you the strongest warriors my foes will have ever seen, and soon, I SHALL TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!” Eggman said with glee as he watched his prisoners struggle to get out, only to scream in pain as the gas begun to do its work. Suddenly the glass began to crack as a huge fist punched at it. “WHAT IN THE WORLD?!?!” Eggman shouted as another hand punched the same spot, shattering the glass, freeing his victims” WHAT ARE YO-“ he shouted as the glass flew at the console causing it to spark. “NO!!! YOUR RUINING EVERYTHING!!!”he shouted as he tore at his mustache. He failed to notice the girls running past him and out the building as the entire room exploded. “GET DOWN!!!” Applejack shouted as the entire area shock everything in for miles around. “*cough* Is everyone *cough* ok?” Rainbow Dash asked as they got up. “Ya *cough* could be better…” Applejack said as she picked up her hat, “Hey guys… I… feel funny.” Pinkie Pie coughed as she waved the smoke and dust away only to scream. “AHHH!!! WHATS HAPPENED TO US???” All three girls screamed in horror as they stared at their new bodies. The girls now stood on two legs with two arms and hands. Their muzzles had shrunk down with a small black nose. “What… do we do now?” Rainbow Dash asked as they looked at the now smoking building. “Not like we can go back to Twilight like… Like THIS!” “And whats wrong with looking like that?” said a mysterious voice from behind them. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Introductions //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2: Introductions “Who said that?” Pinkie Pie asked as she spun around. “I did! What, are ya blind or something?” said a orangish brown Badger. “Whats wrong with the way you look? Everybody looks like this!” Rainbow Dash shook her head in confusion. “What do you mean? NOPONY looks like this!” The Badger laughed for a good few seconds until she realized Rainbow wasn’t joking. “What, are you guys not from around here or something?” she asked, being answered by a couple of nods. “Very odd… must be some odd disturbance in the Space time toaster flux. Come on, Ill take you to the village to see if we can find someone that can help you, and get you some clothes while your at it!” Applejack blushed at the mention that they were naked. “Partner, why did ya tell us we were naked?!?!” “I thought you already knew silly” the badger says as she turns to a pathway. “The names Sticks by the way” She said as she began walking down the path. “Well Howdy Sticks. My name is Applejack, and this here is Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash” AJ said as they begun to follow her “Mind telling us just exactly where we are?” “Sure thing Applejack! Were on the planet Mobius, and currently were leaving Dr. Eggman’s villainess not so secret lab heading to the village of Knothole! Im pretty sure my friends will be arriving there soon so maybe they can help ya!” Sticks said as the village came into sight. Sonic ran to the village and straight to Tails house to go take a nap as the rest of the gang followed. “Guys, I think maybe we should go tell the queen how the attempt to stop Eggman went before we go back to my place” Amy said as Tails nodded walking towards the pathway up to the palace. “Im sure Queen Blaze wont be too happy to hear he got away again” Tails said, with Knuckles shrugging as his stomach growls “I don’t know, but I know Im gonna grab a bite to eat after this, cause Im STARVING!” Amy and Tails chuckled as they walked up to the gates. Meanwhile Sonic walked inside the house and opened the fridge up to grab a soda to drink during his nap. Just as he was closing the door, Sticks was on the other side of the fridge door smiling. “HI SONIC!” she yelled as Sonic suddenly sped over to the other side of the room and into a fighting stance only to relax realizing its just Sticks. “Sticks! I coulda just spin-dashed you in half!” Sonic complained as he noticed the three girls standing behind Sticks. “Uhh.. who are they, and why are they…. Naked?” Sonic asks as he sips his drink. “These are my new friends, Rainbow Dash,” Rainbow Dash crosses her arms smiling, “Pinkie Pie,” Pinkie Pie waves her arms happy like, “and Applejack,” Applejack nods smiling, “I found them outside of Dr. Eggmans base. They aren’t from around here, hence why they don’t have clothes, and I was hoping maybe you guys would be able to help them out.” Sticks finishes as Sonic tosses his can into the trash. “Well we can start with getting them something to wear… Im sure Amy will be able to help them out whenever they get back. As for me, its time for me to take a nap. Taking on Eggface really put me in the mood to hit the couch” Sonic says as he walks over to the couch and falls onto it, instantly going to sleep. Rainbow shakes her head at their so called “hero” as he sleeps. “This guy is supposed to help us? Id rather take my chances elsewear” Sticks chuckles as footsteps are heard outside. “Hes usually like this, but he doesn’t really know what girls wear, so he isn’t really useful in this area. So it’s a good thing hes sending us to Amy for that-“ “Sending who to me?” Amy asked as she walked inside only to stop and blush. “Uhhh… Sticks… whats going on?” Sticks walks over to Amy and explains to her whats going on as Tails and Knuckles walk in. “Man Im starving. What do you have to eat Tails?” Knuckles asks not noticing the three girls standing in the living room. “Im not sure. I think we got some Burgers and Hot Dogs from last time we had a cook out.” Tails said as he flew up to the cupboard grabbing a few plates to put food on. As he lands and turns around he notices the three girls in his living room and almost drops the plates. “Uh… who are you and why are you in my house?” Tails asks as Knuckles turns around with a few cold burgers in his mouth. “Hmm? Oh, weve got company! Nice!” Knuckles says as he swallows the burgers. “Tails, these burgers don’t taste right.” Tails faceplams and grabs the rest before Knuckles can eat them. “That’s because they have to be heated up Knuckles” Knuckles gives Tails a clueless look and walks over to Applejack. “Im Knuckles. Finally somebody as tall as me!” Applejack giggles and replys “Im Applejack, Nice to meet ya Knuckles! And this here is Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie” Both girls nod when they are introduced and Knuckles smiles. “So where are you guys from? Ive never seen you girls around here before.” Knuckles asks completely oblivious to them being naked. “Well Knuckles, were from a land called Equestira, though currently were not sure why were here on… Mobius is it?” Rainbow asks as Knuckles nods. Amy then walks over to the girls before they can continue. “Well before we get to know each other, maybe we should do something about the… naked thing?” Amy asks as Knuckles shakes his head. “Wait, their naked? Sorry!” Knuckles covers covers his eyes and backs away only to trip on the coffee table waking Sonic up. “GAH!!! Knuckles! I know your not that bright, but COME ON!!!” Sonic yells as the girls laugh at Knuckles. The girls laugh at Knuckles as he he pulls himself up from the ground. “Sorry Sonic ehehe” Knuckles says as he takes the remains of the table to the trash as Tails shakes his head as he goes to order another table. Amy walks over to her house with Rainbow, Applejack, and Pinkie followed her. “So you three are from an alternate world where everybody is a pony?” Amy asked as she was digging through her closet while the girls were trying on their new underwear. Pinkie Pie replies as random clothes land in her mane, “Ya! Our world is a pretty great and peaceful place… most of the time. Sometimes random meanies try to take over Equestria, but the six of us always take them down!” Amy turns around holding a dress for Pinkie Pie resembling her own slightly with different colors. “Six? But theres only three of you here. Wheres the others?” Amy asks as she hands her the clothes. Applejack shrugs replying, “I guess they are still at Canterlot Castle… I sure hope they aren’t to worried about us…” Rainbow flew over to AJ with a grin. “Hehe, knowing them, they are probably gonna try and find us!” she said as Amy gave her some black shorts, shoes, and a sleeve-less shirt to try on. “Maybe… or maybe you guys should go see if you can find them, so they know your alright?” Amy asked as she handed AJ some jean shorts, a large sleeve-less shirt, and some steel-toed boots. The girls all froze in fear at the thought of showing their friends what they have become. “Im not sure that’s a great idea Amy…” Rainbow said as she got finishes getting dressed, “they might be a bit shocked by our sudden changes…” Amy nods and responds, “I can understand that… but what if you take to long? What if you find them years later and they cant accept what you’ve become because you hid the truth from them?” Applejack hangs her head, “Your right… but it will take us time to want to tell them… maybe after a few days…” Amy nods as the girls finish getting dressed. “Ya. Anyways those outfits look pretty good on you guys! But its missing something… I GOT IT!” Amy goes as she grabs a neckerchief and puts it around Rainbow’s neck and grabs some sports tape and wraps it around their arms and legs. “PERFECT!” Amy goes as she pulls a mirror over and shows them. Rainbow leans towards the mirror and rubs her chin. “Gotta say, you really do know what a girl would like to wear! Though they are missing one thing…” Rainbow then flies over to some spray paint and sprays her Cutie Mark onto her shirt. “Now THAT’S more like it!” She exclaims as she tosses some cans towards Pinkie Pie and Applejack who begin adding their own Cutie Marks to their clothes. Amy rubs her chin in confusion. “Not really sure what those are for… but they oddly enough seem to suit you girls fine! Now, how about we show the boys and Sticks your new looks?” //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: The Chase //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3: The Chase Twilight ran through the forest as fast as she could with her friends and the Princesses on her tail. They just had to find out what happened to the others before it was too late. “Twilight Darling, wait up!” Rarity yelled as Twilight ran ahead of them. “Come on girls! We don’t know what’s happened to them! For all we know, they could be dust by now. We gotta hurry!” Twilight yelled looking back. However, when she turned back, she noticed she was running out of road and toward a cliff. Twilight skidded to a stop just in time, looking down the cliff only to gasp at what she saw. “Princesses!” Twilight shouted back as the others caught up to her. “Look down there!” she said pointing down the cliff. Celestia and Luna looked over the cliff and gasped as well. Down below seemed to be strange roads all over the place, making sharp turns, and sometimes actually doing loops. Some of the roads had little blue circles at the end of them, with another road just abit ahead. And they all seemed to have large glowing gates on them. “Just what kind of road is this?” Luna asked as Celestia shook her head. “I’ve never seen roads like this before. In fact, I’ve never seen this forest before!” The Princess of the Sun said as the others looked at her in disbelieves. “But if you have never seen this area before, then where did it come from?” Fluttershy asked as Rarity stepped forward. “So I take it you don’t know about that town either Princesses?” she asked pointing a hoof forward. Everypony looked forward and gasped. There it was, an entire town at the end of road. “Perhaps we should go down there and see how these ponies have managed to hide from us for so long.” Celestia said as they teleported to the bottom of the cliff. “Ok boys, and Sticks, I am proud to introduce you all to the now CLOTHED Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie!” Amy said as her friends stepped outside Tails’ house to see Rainbow, AJ, and Pinkie now fully clothed and standing proud. Sonic suddenly zoomed up to the trio and gave them a quick look over. “Man Amy, you sure know how to get a fashion job right hehe” he said giving his friend a high-five. Rainbow Dash blinked in disbelieve. “Wait, how did you just get over here in a second flat?” she asked as Sonic ran into the house only to run back out with a bag of chips. “Hmm? Oh, my speed? I was born with it hehe. Comes in handy a lot, especially when dealing with Egghead.” Sonic said as Applejack scratched her chin. “Egghead? You mean Eggman?” She asked as the others turned towards her. “Wait, you met Eggman?” Tails said walking up towards her. “Ya. He was the one who turned us into this.” Sonic punched his fist into his palm and turned to his gang. “I think Im gonna go pay Baldy McNosehair a visit.” Sonic said as Rainbow Dash ran over to him and put her arm on his shoulder. “Count me in! I got a few things I wanna say to that jerk!” She said as she walked over. Applejack and Pinkie Pie shrugged. “Sure. Would give us a chance to get used to running around on these two legs” Applejack said as Pinkie Pie hopped over towards the gang. Sonic nodded and turned towards his gang. “What about you guys?” “Nah Sonic. I got an invention to work on.” Tails said as he turned towards his home. “Thanks for the invite though.” Knuckles shook his head and flexed his mussels. “Im good. I got some weights to lift.” “I cant as well. I need to go find Pinkie Pie a much better outfit for her.” Amy said as Pinkie Pie looked down at her clothes wondering what was wrong with them. Sticks then pulled out her leaf book to check her schedule. “I cant. Im supposed to be digging through garbage in 10 minutes” Sonic scratched his head and shrugged at Stick’s plan, then turned towards the girls. “Well I guess it’s just us then! Come on, your gonna enjoy chasing after Eggman!” Sonic said as he began running towards Eggman’s base. “GRRR WHERE ARE THOSE TEST SUBJECTS?!?!?!” Eggman screamed as he flew over the forest in his Egg-O-Matic. “HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD AND DEFEAT SONIC IF I CANT EVEN FIND MY TEST SUBJECTS THAT I WANTED TO DEFEAT HIM WITH?!?!?” Eggman was about to rage and blast a random tree when he spotted 5 more ponies walking through the forest. “Hmm… perhaps this isn’t a total loss. I can just make more minions! Hehe” Eggman directed his Egg-O-Matic towards the ground and punched a button having a massive energy net pop out. Twilight stopped walking forward and held a hoof up to stop the others. “Do you guys hear that?” she asked as everypony stopped and listened closely. They soon heard a strange sound, and whatever it was, it was getting closer and faster. They looked up only to scream as a massive net made of energy grabbed them and pulled them off the ground. “WHATS GOING ON? WHO ARE YOU?” Celestia shouted as the Egg-O-Matic carried them towards the strange building they saw earlier. “OH HOHOHO!!! YOU 5 WILL MAKE PERFECT MINIONS IN MY BATTLE AGAINST SONIC!!!” The 5 ponies all gulped as the voice yelled at them and flew over a road towards the building. “Alright gang, try and keep up with me hehe” Sonic said as he ran onto a road with Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie following him. Before they could say anything, the gang blasted forward at high speeds. Applejack and Pinkie Pie almost tripped over their own feet, not being used to running this fast, but Rainbow Dash begun flapping her wings and began flying after Sonic, who was running just as fast as she was flying. “Impressive speed there Sonic!” Rainbow said as Sonic grinned and gave her the thumbs up. “Impressive speed yourself Dash! Looks like you just might be able to keep up with me!” Rainbow smirked at the challenge at begun flapping even harder as AJ and Pinkie Pie caught up with them. “Whoa-Nelly! Perhaps it would be better if we got used to this speed before you started a race?” Sonic nodded and began running backwards. “Fine Fine. Guess it’s a better idea to let you two get used to this before leaving you in the dust.” Sonic said before turning around only to spot a flying pod on the next road over with an energy net full of… Ponies? “HEY EGGHEAD!!!” Sonic shouted as he ran down a path leading to the road with his companions following him. Eggman growled the moment he heard his arch-nemesis call out to him making fun of his name. “SONIC! WHY DON’T YOU JUST GO AWAY WHILE I WORK ON MY PLANS TO ELIMANATE YOU ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!” Eggman shouted as Sonic chuckled to himself. “SINCE WHEN HAS ANY OF YOUR PLANS EVER WORKED BALDY MCNOSEHAIR? I BEAT YOU EVERY TIME!” Sonic shouted as he caught up to Eggmans Egg-O-Matic. “THIS TIME WILL BE DIFFERENT AFTER I MUTATE AND BRAINWASH THESE CREATURES TO HELP ME DEFEAT YOU AND CONQUER THE WORLD!!! YA HAHAHAH!!!” Eggman laughed slaming a button on his controls to blast forward. “HELP US!!!” Came screams from the energy net as Eggman flew ahead. “THAT SOUNDS LIKE OUR FRIENDS AND THE PRINCESSES!” Pinkie Pie yelled as she began picking up speed to catch up to save her friends. Sonic frowned at hearing Eggman kidnapped these girls friends and blasted forward catching up to Eggman almost instantly. “HEY EGGMAN!!!” Sonic yelled as Eggmans captives looked on in shock at a blue hedgehog running at amazing speeds yelling at the stranger that captured them. Suddenly they turned their heads to see 3 other creatures, 2 running, 1 flying, coming up behind the hedgehog at nearly his speed. “Darling, do they look familiar to you as well?” Rarity said noticing details on the girls that reminded her of her friends. Rainbow Dash blasted forward catching up to Sonic. “HEY YOU FAT JERK! LET OUR FRIENDS GO!!!” She yelled as Applejack and Pinkie Pie caught up as well. “YOUD LIKE THAT WOULDN’T YOU? SHAME I NEED YOUR FRIENDS HELP IN DEFEATING SONIC!” Eggman yelled as Sonic suddenly jumped up and landed on the pod. “WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING?!?!” Eggman screamed as Sonic smirked. “This!” Suddenly Sonic hit a button on the control panel releasing the net as Applejack ran underneath it and caught them just in time. “Yall ok?” She asked setting her friends down as Pinkie Pie came over and got the net off of them. Sonic smiled at a job well done and jumped off the pod and continued running only to screech to a hault when Eggman stopped. “Grr… THIS ISNT OVER SONIC!!! ILL BE BACK, AND YOULL REGR-!” Eggman yelled before choking. He pressed another button as a glass of water popped up and he chugged it down. “Yelling so much hurts my throat after awhile. No matter! Ill be back Sonic! And you and your new friends wont be able to stop me!” Eggman said as he began flying away. “Pfft, as if Eggface.” Sonic said as he turned to see Rainbow Dash standing there watching Eggman get away. “Were not gonna chase that monster?” Rainbow Dash asked as Sonic walked over to her placing a hand on her shoulder. “Theres always time to catch Eggman. Right now weve got more important matters to deal with.” Sonic said looking towards Applejack and Pinkie Pie as they got the rest of the girls and the Princesses out of the net. Rainbow Dash nodded and they ran over to them. “Is everyone alright?” Sonic asked as Twilight walked over to him. “Yes, were alright now, all thanks to the four of you.” Sonic nodded and rubbed his nose. “All in a days work hehe” Rainbow chuckled remembering back to a time she thought of herself as a hero and acted cocky. Guess it was just something that happened to anyone who acted or was a hero. “Well were glad your all ok” Rainbow Dash said as Twilight looked at her hearing her voice. “Rainbow Dash? What happened to you?” She asked looking her up and down. “It was that Egghead guy! He captured the 3 of us in that building and released some kind of gas, which after breathing it in, we changed into this.” Rainbow Dash explained embarrassed. “Strange… and who are you exactly?” Princess Luna asked turning towards Sonic. “Im Sonic the Hedgehog. Fastest thing alive and hero of Mobius!” he said doing a one handed hand-stand. Princess Luna nodded and replied “I am Princess Luna, ruler of the night, and this is my sister Princess Celestia, ruler of the day and of all of Equestria.” Princess Celestia nodded as Rarity, Fluttershy, and Twilight stepped forward. “My name… is… fluttershy…” Fluttershy mumbled. “Hello Darling. My name is Rarity.” Rarity said. “My name is Princess Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Friendship!” Twilight said proudly as Sonic smirked nodding. “Well I guess youd better come with us back to Knothole. Im sure Tails might be able to have a clue as to whats going on!” Sonic said as he began walking back towards the village with everypony. Rainbow Dash smirked and turned towards Twilight as they began their journey back. “Its good to see you followed us Egghead hehe.” Rainbow said as she patted Twilight on the back. Before she could say anything however, Twilight suddenly fell to the ground in pain. Sonic heard the moans of pain and turned around just in time for Twilight to suddenly change entirely. Her back hooves grew feet as her legs suddenly turned around to bend like normal legs, her front hooves grew fingers. Her mussel shrunk down as two lumps formed on her chest. Twilight laided there for a few seconds turning her head to inspect herself as her Cutie Mark suddenly vanished off her flank. “Wha-Wha-WHAT???” Twilight screamed before passing out. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: The Return of Lyric //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4: The Return of Lyric Tails looked over as his front door opened up with Sonic entering holding another girl. “Tails, Might want to make room on the couch.” Sonic said as he walked over with the girl. Tails got up and looked towards the door to see the three girls from earlier enter along with a couple of ponies. “Sonic… Why are there ponies entering my house?” Tails asked as Sonic put a blanket over the girl. “Because they followed me here after I saved them from Egghead. This one was actually a pony as well before-““Before I touched her and she suddenly changed like us!” Rainbow Dash blurted out before Sonic could finish. “Ya… What she said.” Sonic said as Tails walked over to Rainbow Dash. “I might need to run some tests… TO THE LAB!” Tails said with joy as the girl suddenly woke up to the word “lab”. “OH CAN I HELP!” She said as Applejack facepalmed. “I knew that would wake her up.” She said. Tails chuckled and grabbed a lab coat handing it to Twilight. “Then your gonna need this… uh…” Tails said not knowing her name. “Twilight Sparkle.” She said as she took the coat and put it on. Tails smiled and ran over to his lab with Twilight, pulling Rainbow Dash with them as the rest stepped outside to see Knuckles hanging a bird house up. “Hey Knuckles!” Sonic said zipping up to him. “Wanna knock some coconuts down?” Knuckles turned around after placing the birdhouse on the tree. “Sure! Whos team am I on?” “Hmm… Interesting…” Tails said looking through a microscope at Rainbow Dash’s hand. “What is it Tails?” Twilight asked holding a pen and notepad with her magic. “It seems there are Nano-bots crawling all over Rainbow Dash, which caused her to mutate into a mobian!” Tails said as he looked up to see a VERY bored Rainbow Dash. “Uh huh… Can I go now?” Rainbow asked as Tails shook his head. “Not yet… let me see if I can get one of those Nano-bots off you… “ he said as he zoomed in closer, while taking a pair of tweezers and carefully grabbing one, setting it in a lab dish. “Alright. You can go now Rainbow Dash.” Tails said to which she fist pumped and flew out the door. “Twilight, can I see your hand now?” Tails asked to which Twilight nodded and stuck her hand under the microscope. “Ah ha! Just as I suspected!” Tails said looking up at Twilight. “What is it?” She asked. “Your covered in Nano-Bots as well! They must of spread to you when Rainbow Dash touched you!” Tails said as Twilight took more notes. “Think you can get one of your friends who hasn’t changed yet to come in here to confirm it?” Tails asked. Twilight nodded and stepped outside. “Princess Celestia, Can you help us wit… Whats going on?” She said only to stop as she saw Sonic fly into a coconut tree having five coconuts falling on him. “ALRIGHT KNUCKLES AND SONIC WIN OVER SONIC AND KNUCKLES!” Sonic and Knuckles said giving a high five. Princess Celestia shook her head in confusion. “Honestly, I haven’t the slightest idea… They just started throwing each other at some trees for fun… Anyways, what was it you were asking?” Twilight shook her head getting her mind back on topic. “Oh, me and Tails need to check you real quick for a theory.” She said as Celestia nodded her head. “Alright then.” They walked back into Tails lab as an alarm suddenly went off. “NO NOT NOW!” Tails shouted as he ran out the door. “GUYS!! THE ALARM IS GOING OFF!” Tails yelled as the gang turned towards Tails. “Eggman? Again?” Sonic asked. “Im afraid so, and I cant go this time cause Im not finished in the lab yet!” Tails said as Sonic shook his head. “Its ok. I know I can take Egghead on all by myself!” Sonic said as he begun revving up his feet. “Oh no ya don’t Sonic! Were going with you!” Amy said stepping in Sonic’s way. “Ugh, fine. What about you three?” Sonic said turning towards Rainbow, AJ, and Pinkie Pie, but before they could respond, Tails spoke up. “Actually, I might need to run some tests on Applejack and Pinkie Pie as well.” “Well, guess that answers that question. Rainbow?” Sonic said as AJ and Pinkie Pie walked over to the lab. “Sure! Im still up for adventuring!” Rainbow said giving a thumbs up as Sonic nodded. “Alright then. Tails, where IS Eggman attacking?” Sonic asked Tails, who replied, “The jungle, near the excavation site!” Sonic nodded and begun running off into the Jungle with Rainbow, Knuckles, and Amy. Eggman flew down the path at high speeds, blasting a tree and having it fall over as Sonic slid under it with the rest jumping over it. “Hehehe, Whats the matter Sonic? Cant keep up?” Eggman said only to hear his arch-rival yell below him. “You were saying?” Eggman looked over his Eggmobile to see Sonic running right beside him. “It wasn’t meant to be taken seriously! It was a taunt! ITS VILLIANY 101!” Eggman growled at Sonic and slammed a button down, boosting away from him. As soon as he regained control, Eggman fired a few missiles at the road, destroying part of it. Sonic turned his head to see Rainbow was the only one keeping up with him as Knuckles and Amy were abit behind. “Knuckles! Amy! Go Left!” He yelled at them. Amy nodded as Knuckles blinked and yelled back. “GIVE ME A SECOND!” Knuckles then looked down at his hands for a few seconds to figure out which way was left. “IM ON IT!” he soon yelled back as he and Amy went left. Sonic and Rainbow Dash nodded and ran towards the right. “YOU CANT OUTRUN ME THIS TIME!” Eggman shouted as he launched more missiles at Sonic and Rainbow, who managed to dodge them with ease, with Rainbow kicking the last one back towards Eggman, grazing his Eggmobile causing it to spin around for a few seconds. After getting the Eggmobile under control, Eggman put away his emergency barf bag and yelled at Rainbow Dash. “CURSE YOU, YOU ANNOYING PEGASUS!!!” Rainbow Dash giggled to herself as Eggman launched more missiles at her. However, she saw them coming miles away and managed to dodge each and every one of them. Eggman punched at his control panel in rage as he fired two lasers at some trees along the path, knocking them down. “BOOM! A HIT!!!” Eggman yelled to himself as he patted himself on the back. However, Sonic boosted ahead and broke into a spindash, slicing the trees in half for safe passage. “You were saying Egghead?” Sonic shouted as Eggman growled and almost reached up to yank his mustaches clean off. “BLAST YOU SONIC!!!” He yelled as the road with Knuckles and Amy on came near the road they were on. Eggman sighed and spun around facing Sonic and Rainbow. “Alright, this is getting old. LETS SKIP AHEAD TO THE PART WHERE I AMBUSH YOU!” Sonic suddenly heard an engine in the distance. Turning his head, Sonic frowned as a robot of Eggmans began flying after them. Rainbow Dash turned as well and gasped at what she saw. The robot looked like A LOT like Sonic, but without the sports tape and scarf. The robot flew over to Eggman and stared death daggers at Sonic and Rainbow Dash. Knuckles looked over at the other road and frowned. “Great, Metal Sonic has to attack just as Eggman is about to spring his surprise attack on us!” he said as Amy faceplamed and they dove off their path and onto the other road. Eggman chuckled as Amy and Knuckles joined the battle. “HOW CUTE! YOU NEED YOUR FRIENDS TO SAVE YOU!” He yelled as He began having Metal Sonic blast lasers at the road to destroy it. Sonic growled and began picking up the pace. “I DON’T NEED ANYBODY TO STOP YOU!” Sonic yelled back as he jumped over the ruble Metal Sonic was creating while Knuckles punched his way through for him, Amy, and Rainbow Dash to get through. Eggman smirked and fired more missiles at him. “Not what it looks like from up here!” He said. Sonic turned his head towards his friends and yelled, “STAY BACK, EGGMANS ALL MINE!!!” Amy frowned and yelled back towards him. “SONIC, IT’S A TRAP, AND YOU KNOW IT! EGGMAN IS JUST TRYING TO GET YOU ALONE SO HE CAN BEAT YOU!” However, Sonic didn’t hear her as he blasted ahead. Rainbow Dash turned towards Amy and said, “Ill go after him, you guys head left!” Amy nodded and went onto another siding with Knuckles as Rainbow put more power towards her wings and sped off towards Sonic. Suddenly Metal Sonic appeared and blasted a laser out of his chest, destroying the road below her! “Sonic! We gotta speed up!” She said as Sonic nodded and grabbed her hand, rocketing towards a ramp as they jumped off towards another path near where Knuckles and Amy were on. Eggman noticed that they had separated again and turned towards Metal. “Well? What are you waiting for? AFTER THEM!” He commanded as Metal Sonic nodded and blasted after them. Eggman then looked at his control panel noticing the area he was heading for was near and smiled, then looked down seeing Sonic and growled. “OH SONIC! You know whats better than an ambush?” Eggman asked. Sonic and Rainbow Dash looked at each other and shrugged with Rainbow asking, “An… Ambush with Sweet Apple Acres pie?” Eggman thought to himself for a second, then replyed, “That sounds delicious, BUT NO! THE POST-AMBUSH AMBUSH!!!” He then launched the last of his missiles at the road, destroying it completely. Sonic screeched to a halt just before he went off the edge remembering what almost awaited him last time. He then looked over the edge to see a small clearing and sighed, just before Rainbow Dash flew right into him, knocking him all the way to the ground below. Rainbow shook her head and flew down after him. “Sorry about that Sonic” She said as she helped him up. “No hard feelings” Sonic said as he stood up and gave her a thumbs up, only to notice they weren’t alone in the clearing. They looked around as about ten robots began walking up to them as Eggman floated over them. “So, I dug up these ancient robots and it took me forever how to figure out how to reprogram them, and then I couldn’t have all that effort go to waste unless I use them on you! Try to appreciate all the hard work I put into them as they destroy you. Toodles!” he said gleefully as he flew away. Sonic smirked and cracked his hands, then ran right towards the first robot and punched at it, causing it to fall over. Rainbow smiled at flew towards another robot, kicking at its head as it flew off causing the robot to explode. “Hey! This is kinda fun! Hehe” She said as Sonic ran over the robot he was fighting until it exploded as well. “I know! Just be careful. They got Swords hehe.” Sonic then jumped into the air and begun rocketing towards three robots one after another until they were destroyed. Meanwhile Rainbow Dash flew into the air and used a mini Sonic Rainboom on four more robots until they too, exploded to pieces. Sonic spotted the last robot and ran at it, kicking it through a wall freeing them from the clearing. They walked through the wall into the jungle and sighed in relieve. “Looks like we lost Eggman…” Sonic said as Rainbow put her hand on his shoulder. “Don’t worry, well catch up. After all, Whos faster than us? Hehe” She asked with a smile as Sonic smiled back nodding and looked at the jungle ahead of them. “Then we better get a move on it.” Sonic said and began jogging down the path with Rainbow following. “This jungle looks calm and peaceful!” Rainbow said as they made their way over some fallen trees. Sonic frowned as he jumped over a small pit. “Shame it never stays that way.” He said as a large building came into the distance. “Hey, isn’t that Eggman?” Rainbow Dash asked as she pointed towards a small object flying towards the building. “I believe so. Come on, we better go check it out.” Sonic said as they ran towards a fork in the road. Looking over the roads, both paths looked like they could only fit one mobian. Sonic turned towards Rainbow and said “Looks to dangerous. We might have to split up for abit. I’ll take the right path.” Rainbow nodded and replied, “Ok, Ill check out the left path then. See you in a bit!” Rainbow then ran over to her road and saw that there was barely any road left. She smirked and begun flapping her wings. “This isn’t even a challenge!” She said as she flew over the crumbled road towards the other side. She landed and smiled only to see Sonic was already on the other side waiting on her. “Took ya long enough hehe” Sonic said. Rainbow Dash shrugged and walked ahead of him. "It looks like the building Eggman was heading to is just ahead.” She said. Sonic nodded and jogged over. “Then lets go take him down!” They jogged over as Knuckles and Amy ran into the clearing as well. “Hey guys, you made it!” Rainbow Dash said with joy. “What happened to Metal Sonic?” Sonic asked. “Lets just say he wont bothering us again… Unless he comes back…” Knuckles said. “What is this place” Amy asked looking around. “Don’t know. We saw Egghead flying over here… but hes managed to escape… ugh…” Sonic said as they walked towards a large door. Sonic noticed a hand print on the door and reached forward to touch it. “Don’t touch that!” Amy said pulling his hand away. “Ive got a bad feeling about this place…” Knuckles then looked up at the carvings and said, “Hey guys, look at these!” Sonic, Amy, and Rainbow Dash looked up and gasped at what they saw. They saw carvings showing what looked like a blue hedgehog, and a cyan Pegasus with rainbow streaks on it. “Wait… How is that even possible? These carvings look a lot like Sonic and Rainbow Dash!” Amy said looking at Rainbow Dash. “Its even more strange seeing as this is your first day in our world!” Rainbow Dash was about to reply when she heard metal footsteps approaching. The gang turned around to spot twenty robots entering the clearing. “What are those things?” Amy asked as Sonic stepped forward. “Oh. Those are just some robots Eggman reprogramed. We fought them earlier after we split up.” Knuckles turned to Sonic frowning. “Without me? You KNOW how much I like punching things!” he said as Sonic shrugged. “Be my guest.” He said as Knuckles smiled and pounded his fists together and walked over with Amy as she pulled out her hammer. Sonic and Rainbow Dash watched as they took out the nearly all the robots. Rainbow smirked and flew over to the fight, kicking the last few robots apart. The trio exchanged high fives as Sonic stood there with a smile. However, that smile was soon replaced with a frown as he heard a familiar sound enter his ears. He looked up to search the skies, only to look down when he saw hundreds more of robots begin making their way into the clearing. Amy, Knuckles, and Rainbow Dash got into a fighting pose ready to take on the robots, only for Metal Sonic to appear in the skies and crash into the ground before them, throwing them back from the impact. Sonic clenched his fists and looked at all the robots making their way towards them. “Theres no way we will be able to take them all on.” He said to himself. Sonic then turned around and placed his hand on the door, opening it up. “Guys this way!” he said as the trio saw the door open and ran towards it. Sonic entered the building and turned to see Metal making his way towards him. But before Metal Sonic could get to him, the doors closed tightly. Sonic sighed and walked away. Metal Sonic scanned the door, then placed his claw on the door, attempting to open it. However, the door refused access. Enraged, Metal smashed his fist against the lock, only for his master to arrive. “Hmm… Interesting…” Eggman said unaware that he was being watched from the distance by a black and red hedgehog. The gang stepped into a strange room with five hall ways leading out of the area. “Guys, where are we?” Rainbow Dash asked looking around the area. “It looks like some ancient ruins” Amy said as she noticed what appeared to be an exit at the end of the middle hall way. “It looks like that hall way is our way outta here.” She said as she walked up. “Now, if only there was a hall way left for us to walk across” Knuckles said as he noticed there was no floor left. “It looks like were gonna have to split up for now.” Rainbow Dash said looking around at the other paths. “Agreed. We each take a path only you can get across.” Sonic said as he ran towards a path made out of loops. The rest nodded in agreement and went their separate ways. Knuckles made his way over to a path with no floor, but a low ceiling, just low enough for him to jump up and climb his way across. “Man… we wouldn’t be stuck here if Sonic hadn’t of opened that door. We coulda taken all those robots!” He muttered to himself. Knuckles soon reached a lever attached to a beam of light. “Guess I better smack that…” He said as he revved up his fist and swung. Unfortunately, he broke the lever in half. “Uh oh…” Knuckles said as he attempted to activate the lever with what little was left of the lever. After a few failed attempts, he finally was able to flip the lever. He looked at his work only to notice the beam of light, along with 3 other beams of light, begun to move away from a crystal in the ceiling. He then noticed a door to the right of him open up and figured that was the way out. He made his way out the door only to see Sonic, Amy, and Rainbow Dash make their way out of their own doors. “Well, we must of done something right” Sonic said as they made their way towards the room where the lasers were pointing only for the door to slam shut behind them. “Oh, Great! Were trapped… AGAIN!” Amy said as Sonic frowned and looked around noticing a giant snake statue in the middle of the room. “GOOD GOING SONIC! You got us locked in here!” Knuckles said to Sonic. “Wait, what? I was SAVING you guys!” Sonic said to which Rainbow Dash walked over and replied, “We coulda taken on all those metal guys if you gave us a chance!” “YA!” Knuckles and Amy yelled as Sonic jumped at them yelling. However, Sonic quickly noticed that something wasn’t right with the statue. “Uh, guys… Can we put a pin in it for a second?” The three noticed Sonic was looking at the statue and turned towards it… as it slowly began coming to life. “Uh, Guys, I don’t think this chamber was to keep us out… it was to keep THAT in!” Rainbow said. “QUICK, LETS GET OUT OF HERE… Oh wait, I forgot, we cant!” Amy said glaring at Sonic, who chose to ignore her as the statue had finally come to life. “FINALLY! Lyric roared at Sonic as his snake tail aimed at him charging a energy blast. “Ya…. Now I KNOW it’s a bad thing!” Sonic said and began charging up a Spindash. The Snake saw this and smirked, ready for Sonic as he launched at him. At the last second, he moved the orb that was holding his hands in the path of the spindash, destroying it. Sonic bounced off of it and into the arms of Rainbow Dash and Amy. “Huh?” he said before suddenly the four of them were lassoed up by a strange energy beam. “1000 years later and your still just as predictable…” Lyric chuckled and pressed a button on his chest. Soon all the dead robots lying around the chamber came back to life and marched over to him. “Now then… Lets see what a thousand years will do to you Hedgehog.” He hissed at Sonic before sliding over to Rainbow Dash. “I cant wait to conquer your universe next You little pony!” Rainbow Dash growled and began thrashing out at the snake. “YOU BETTER NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT LAYING A CLAW ON IT YOU JERK!” she yelled at him as he chuckled and blasted a hole in the roof. “COME MY WARRIORS!!! Weve got work to do if we plan on ruling the Multiverse!” he said as he flew out with a few of his robots. Sonic stared in disbelief at what just happened. “I cant believe it… He dodged my Spindash… Nobody’s ever done that before…” Amy shook her head in disbelief and turned to Sonic. “Uh, Sonic, I think weve got other problems right now… like how were going to get out of here!” Sonic snapped out of it and looked over at Knuckles to see his arms were free. “Knuckles, think you can call Tails on your communicator?” He said. Before Knuckles tried, they all suddenly heard the sound of tails spinning. “Your lucky he doesn’t have to hehe.” Tails said as he flew in from the hole in the ceiling. “Tails! Howd you get here?” Amy asked as he flew over to them and began tinkering on the energy beam. “Well I was done at the lab so I thought Id meet you guys at Cliff’s. But when you guys didn’t show up, I decided I better go find you guys, and here I am!” Tails said as he clicked a button and the energy beam disappeared, causing the four to fall to the floor. “Thanks Tails, but now we need a way outta here.” Rainbow Dash said as the remaining robots began marching towards them. “I think weve got bigger problems at the moment Rainbow Dash.” Sonic said as he suddenly rushed behind her and kicked a robot that was about to strike her. Rainbow then jumped into the air and flew straight at another one kicking it off the edge with a mini Sonic-Rainboom. Knuckles grabbed two robots by their heads and smashed them together in glee. Amy slammed her hammer into the ground, causing a few robots to bounce into the air. She then swung her hammer at the robots, and smirked as they flew out of sight, putting her hand up to her eyes. Tails jumped at the last robot’s back, tearing into its wires and reprograming it to run off the edge. “Ok, NOW we can worry about how were getting out of here.” Sonic said as Tails began walking over to everyone putting a bracelet around their arms. “Uh, Tails… Friendship Bracelets? NOW?” Amy asked as Tails chuckled. “Not exactly. I reprogramed them some sort of enerbeam.” He said as Rainbow Dash looked at hers. “Huh, really? We might be able to use these to get out of here!” She said. Knuckles activated his enerbeam and grabbed a rock with it. “Knuckles… what are you doing?” Sonic asked as Knuckles begun to swing the rock over his head and threw it at a statue. “KNUCKLES! TRY AND LEAVE THE STATUES INTACT!” Amy yelled as the statue fell into the chamber wall, revealing a blue rail. “What? I made us a way out of here!” Knuckles said as Sonic ran over to the hole. “Hes right… for once. He did make us a way out! Follow me!” He shouted as he jumped off the platform. “SONIC!” everyone shouted before seeing a blue enerbeam shoot up and grab onto the rail, pulling Sonic with it. “You heard the hedgehog! Lets get going!” Rainbow Dash said as she jumped off, shooting her cyan enerbeam at the rail. The trio nodded and shot their’s at the rail and began following. Sonic swung over the trees and flung himself all over the rail. “AWW YA, THIS IS AWESOME!” He yelled as the rest caught up with him. Before they could say anything, Lyric suddenly blasted through a wall and flew infront of them. “I FEEL LIKE MY OLD SELF AGAIN!!!” he yelled as he turned around and growled at the sight of Sonic following him. “I SHOULD JUST CRUSH YOU HERE AND NOW!!! But… I MUST RETURN TO MY LAIR!!!” he said and began flying away. “HES GETTING AWAY” Sonic yelled as he got off the rail and landed on a pathway, giving chase instantly. Rainbow Dash, Tails, Amy, and Knuckles followed suit and ran after Sonic. Lyric growled and begun blasting at boulders to block the road. However, Sonic began sidestepping all over the place, dodging all the falling objects. “BEGONE!!! He yelled as he blasted a massive boulder, having it land on the path before the gang and launching them away from him. “Finally… I can continue on with my plans…” The Snake said as he clicked the button on his chest again, teleporting him away. Lyric reappeared in his lair and begun punching buttons on the console. “Now that that miserable Blue Hedgehog and his Girlfriend have freed me, I can return to conquering both of their Dimensions, as well as the rest of the entire Multiverse!!! AH HAHAHA!!! But first… I need an army… and I DON’T have the time to build a new one… Hmm… perhaps I can find others in the multiverse who are just as evil as me to help me…” He said as he grabbed a crystal fragment and shoved it into the computer’s power source. The computer begun scanning throughout the entire multiverse. Suddenly the screen to the left of it begun showing a spaceship flying throughout the cosmos. “Hmm… I wonder…” He said as he typed away, and sent a message towards the ship. “Attention, This is Lyric of Dimension SB2WWC5, requesting an audience with the leader of your star ship.” Suddenly the screen changed from the ship to what appeared to be a massive robot. “I am the new commander of this ship. You have 1 Astro-Cycle to tell me what you want, before I destroy you!” Lyric chuckled to himself. “You can try all you want, but the only way you could get to me in the first place is if I willed it.” The robot growled and replied, “Just what do you want with me?” Lyric smiled folding his arms. “What if I offered you a chance to take over the Multiverse?” he asked the machine. The robot thought it over and smirked. “Id say you just made yourself a partner.” The robot turned towards his crew and shouted, “DECEPTICONS!!! WE WILL SOON BE RULERS OF THE ENTIRE MULTIVERSE!!!” Lyric’s jaw almost dropped at what he saw next. An army of Hundreds of Thousands of Robotic warriors as large as his old titans stood there, roaring in conquest. Lyric soon began to smile. “Perfect. I shall summon you once more as soon as I regain the power I need to break holes in the fabric of reality.” Lyric said as the robot leader turned around and nodded. “Very well. In the mean time, I have a brother to FINALLY destroy… Galvatron out.” With that, the screen went dark and Lyric chuckled. “With an army that large, I could win for sure… But why stop there?” Lyric punched in a few more buttons and soon got a picture of a strange island. “Hmm… I wonder what kind of evil lives here…” he said as he punched in another message. However, before he could finish, the screen once again activated, showing just a pair of red eyes. “Don’t bother with your message you worm… You grabbed my attention the moment you spied on this island…” The being said as Lyric turned towards it, smiling. “Very well then. I am Lyric of Dimension SB2WWC5. I am here to make a most excellent offer.” The Dark one nodded, allow Lyric to continue. “I am offering you a chance to join me and my new associate Galvatron in CONQURING the Multiverse!” The pair of eyes blinked and chuckled darkly. “A chance at ruling over more than just this island? How could I not accept? With skill of creating armies, I know I will make an excellent addition to your army. As long as my actions keep my sister Celestia asleep for all eternity.” She said as Lyric smiled hissing. “Then I shall contact you when I re-obtain the power I need to break a hole in reality to bring you here.” The Dark one smiled, and nodded. “Very well… Nightmare Moon out.” Eggman growled as he spun around in his chair. “How am I going to be able to take down Sonic and his friends now that they have reinforcements?” he asked himself. Suddenly, his computer suddenly went off blaring stating. “OH COME ON!!! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO THINK OVER THAT BLASTED ALARM?!?!” He screamed as he turned around only to have his jaw drop as he saw a Wormhole appear in the room. “Oh Hoho… Maybe I can get some reinforcements as well… ORBOT, CUBOT!!! BRING IN THE EGGMOBLIE!!!” Eggman shouted as his two minions appeared bringing in his pod. “Here you go boss, all cleaned up just like you asked!” Orbot said. Eggman jumped into the pod and turned it on. “Ill be back. Im going to see where this Wormhole leads. Hopefully Ill find more minions to replace the ones YOU let get away!” Eggman said as he flew into the Wormhole. He remerged a few seconds later and asked, “Oh, and can you make me an Evil Ham and Cheese Sandwich when I get back? Thanks!” With that, he went back into the portal. Eggman emerged over what appeared to be a school. “A SCHOOL??? THAT’S WHERE THAT BLASTED WORMHOLE LEAD ME TO? A SCHOOL??? UGHHH!!!” However, before Eggman could vent out, he noticed a young girl walking around and oddly enough, singing on the roof of the school. “Hmm?”       “Power         Was all I desired (I desired, I desired)         But all that grew inside me         Was the darkness I acquired         When I began to fall         And I lost the path ahead         That's when your friendship found me         And it lifted me instead         Like a phoenix burning bright         In the sky         I'll show there's another side to me         You can't deny         I may not know what the future holds         But hear me when I say         That my past does not define me         'Cause my past is not today         Ambition         Is what I believed         Would be the only way         To set me free         But when it disappeared         And I found myself alone         That's when you came and got me         And it felt like I was home         Like a phoenix burning bright         In the sky         I'll show there's another side to me         You can't deny         I may not know what the future holds         But hear me when I say         That my past does not define me         'Cause my past is not today” Eggman smirked when he saw the girl suddenly have magical wings appear around her. “Perhaps This isn’t a total bust…” He said as he suddenly flew over to her as she turned around and fired a net at her. “AHHH!!!!” She screamed as he flew towards the Wormhole with her. “OH BE QUIET YOU!!!” He yelled at her as he saw three more girls run onto the roof. “SUNSET!!!” they screamed as Eggman flew into the portal. “Hmm… Those girls sounded a lot like my captives I had earlier… Oh well.” Eggman said to himself as he reentered his lair, releasing the net and dropping Sunset onto the floor. “Ow… Where… Where am I?” Sunset Shimmer asked she looked around the room she was in. Eggman landed next to her and stepped out of the Eggmobile. “Your in my liar… Sunset, is it? And now your going to work for me!”  Sunset gulped, then looked as a door opened up with two robots entering. “Heres the Evil Ham and Cheese Sandwich you ordered.” The red one said. The Yellow one noticed Sunset and asked “Wow, whos the girl?" Sunset blinked and looked herself over. "Wait... I didnt turn back into a pony?" She asked as she got up. Eggman scanned her over and grinned. "Hmm... You poss strange abilities... I think you will make an excellent slave..." Eggman said as he pulled a lever and had a glass tube slide down over her. Sunset screamed again as the gas with nanobots hidden in it began spraying on her, turning her into a mobian. "What? Whats going on? What are you doing?" Sunset asked. "OH HOHOHOHO Im just going to make you my servant is all!" Eggman said he implanted a device into the back of her neck. All of a sudden Sunset Shimmer screamed and dropped to the ground... only to stand back up with her eyes now blood red. "What can I do to serve you Master Eggman?" //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6: Battle of the Ultimate Lifeforms //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 6: Battle of the Ultimate Lifeforms “WHOAAAAAAAAAA” Applejack looked up to notice Sonic, Rainbow Dash, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy falling to the ground. “Oh this aint gonna be good.” She said only to swallow her own words as everyone landed feet first. “What happen?” She asked jogging over. Tails turned around and replied, “Oh nothing, just they found a tomb, fought off a pack of robots, and got steamrolled by a 1000 year old snake…. Did I leave anything out?” Knuckles walked forward and added, “Ya, you forgot the part where it was ALL Sonic’s fault!” Sonic frowned and stomped away. Rainbow growled and got in Knuckles face. “HEY MAN! Sonic might of gotten us IN there, but at LEAST he tried to improve our situation! You saw how many robots there were out there! There was a high chance we wouldn’t of made it outta there!” Rainbow then turned around and ran over to Sonic who was looking at a massive door. Knuckles shook his head and turned to Amy and Tails. “Man, if only she knew what happened a few weeks ago, then she wouldn’t be talking.” Amy sighed almost tempted to smack him upside the head with her hammer. “Sonic, its alright.” Rainbow Dash said giving him a side hug. “I know you had good intentions man!” Sonic sighed and turned to her. “I just wish they would stop insisting they go on these missions with me. Their my friends and I don’t want them to get hurt…” Rainbow nodded and responded, “That’s understandable. If something happened to my friends, Id stop at nothing to get back at the guy who wronged them.” Sonic smiled. “Thanks for understanding.” He then turned back to the door and asked, “what do you think is behind this door?” “Who knows? Hopefully more adventure hehe” Rainbow said as the group walked up behind them. “I left everyone else over at the dig site Sonic. And everyone else has… become like us… without them touching each other.” Tails said. Sonic turned around to face Tails. “What do you mean? Is it going air born now or something?” he asked as Tails nodded slowly. “It gets worse… Rainbow Dash, you know of a place called Sugar Cube Corner?” “Ya… what about it?” She asked as Tails pulled out a little tablet and showed her the screen. “Cause its currently sitting at the construction site and making the chef mad…er.” “Then we better get over there” Sonic said as he ran over to a wall, running onto it and over a pit. Rainbow smirked and flew over. “Now that was cool!” she said flying by him. Tails, Knuckles and Amy ran after them, using their Enerbeams to cross. “Showoff” Knuckles muttered as he turned around to help Applejack up. A lone figure watched as Sonic and his friends ran towards the site. “Hmmp… Do those fools honestly think they can stop Lyric? I can do a much better job than them…” he said clenching his hand listening to the robotics in his body as he moves. He suddenly looked up as he heard a sound from behind. Turning around, he spotted a young mobian unicorn standing behind him, wearing a gray skin tight jacket with black arrows on it, gold rings on her limps, white gloves with a orange arrow pointing down. Her boots looked similar to his shoes, but more lady like. She wore a black skirt with a short gray shirt and a gray collar around her neck. Finally, her fur was goldish orange, with a fiery mane and tail and light tan skin. What he noticed most was her eyes. They were pure black with her eyes blood red. “Who are you?” he asked getting into a fighting stance. “My name… I have no name… My master has sent me to test my skill against his previous failure… Shadow the Hedgehog…” Shadow sneered standing up fully. “Oh really now… well Mrs. No Name… I shall have you know…” Suddenly Shadow warped in front of the girl and punched her back a few feet. “That Eggman has sent you on a suicide mission.” He looked at her to make sure he didn’t harm her to badly, only to frown as he saw her get back up with barley a scratch on her. She then smirked as her horn and hands glowed. “Then this shall be fun…” Shadow grinned as his body began to glow as well. They both then charged at each other. Shadow threw a kick at her hoping to end this soon as possible, only to blink as she warped behind him and punched him from behind. Shadow rolled over, making sure to land on his feet as he warped in front of her and punched her into the air before warping above her kicking her to the ground. Shadow warped back to the surface only to see the girl standing in the crater she made as she threw an energy beam at him. Shadow ducked before throwing his Chaos Spear at her. However, she caught it mere moments before it hit her face and crushed it in her hand. Shadow yelled as his entire body started glowing red as he clenched his fists. “CHAOS BLAST!” he yelled as a massive explosion came out of him, whipping out everything around him. Shadow began panting from the energy explosion and looked up. He frowned as he saw the girl still standing there, with a few scraps, but otherwise unhurt. “Impossible…” He said as the girl suddenly fell to her hands and knees before clutching her head in pain. “Ughh… Pl-Please! Help… Me!” she screamed at him. Shadow walked over as she opened her eyes at him. He saw that they had changed to white with light green eyes. “Who are you? Why are you with Eggman?” She asked, “Eggman? You mean that guy that kidnapped me from my world?” Shadow clenched his hand and replied, “That sounds like him…” She slowly stood up and looked around. None of this looked familiar to her one bit. She then turned to the one who freed her and took into account that he wasn’t human, but a hedgehog with black fur and red stripes. “What… are you?” she asked. “I am Shadow the Hedgehog… The Ultimate Lifeform. You are?” he asked again. She got ready to reply only to grab at her collar in pain. Shadow saw as the collar began to tighten as her eyes slowly went back to being controlled. “Please! Help me!” She pleaded. Shadow warped around and got ready to smash the collar only for her to spin around and punch him. As he got back up, she shouted as her body began to glow to warp. “My Name… Is Sunset Shimmer!” She then warped away leaving Shadow confused. Sonic jogged up to the new building and walked inside with Rainbow Dash. “So this is from your world?” he asked as he saw ponies who recently turned into mobians were freaking out. “Ya, but not as chaotic…” she said hoping Discord wouldn’t pop out of nowhere. She walked forward to see Mr. and Mrs. Cake trying to take orders not being used to being on two legs and having hands. “Everything alright?” she asked as Mrs. Cake looked up. “Oh Rainbow Dash, its just terrible! A few minutes ago, everything was normal, than BAM! Were in the middle of nowhere with giant animals walking and talking like us, and before long, we became like them with no warning whatsoever!” she said as she held onto one of her babies. Sonic stepped forward. “If this appeared all the way out here… What else from your world came?” he asked as Mr. Cake ran at him with a broom. “Not another one! Stay out!” he yelled as Sonic side stepped out of the way. “Relax Mr. Cake. Hes with me… Wait, why are you trying to make him leave?” Rainbow asked as Mr. Cake turned to face her. “Well… Just look at them!” He said as she grabbed the broom out of his hands and retorted. “Them? Look at YOU! You’re the one chasing people out of your store cause they look different… even though we all now look like them!” Sonic shook his head and walked back outside to let her sort it out. “Maybe we should talk with Cliff.” Amy said as they made their way down a pit. They soon spotted Cliff talking with the Princess’s. “So your entire world is populated by just ponies? Huh… I believe I once read about ponies existing in our world back in the time of the Ancients…” he then heard Amy shout at him. “Cliff! Thank Goodness we found you!” Cliff turned around and raised his hat at her. “I didn’t know I was missing hehe.” Amy rolled her eyes at the bad joke and asked, “You know anything about an ancient tomb with a snake in it?” Cliff scratched his beard in thought and replied, “Cant say I do… OH but I do know of an ancient prison with a snake in it!” Amy frowned and responded, “Well why don’t ya tell us about that one?” Cliff nodded and turned towards one of his books. “The snake was named Lyric, and he was one of the Ancients themselves. However he betrayed his brothers and sisters after he made a massive discovery which led to our world going into a dimensional flux that caused half of the planet to be lost in another dimension. Thank goodness hes trapped for all eternity, or both halves of our world would be in total danger.” Sonic rubbed the back of his head as a nervous smile appeared on his face. “Yeah, well… you see… we… kinda let him lose…” Everyone around the gang stopped what they were doing and looked at them, jaws dropping. Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy all tilted their heads to the left in confusion as Cliff slowly facepalmed. Rainbow walked out of Sugarcube Corner sighing. She walked down to the pit only to hear someone say “Not cool Sonic”. Rainbow grinded her teeth in frustration. She thought to herself ‘Just how many times are they gonna pick on that guy… wait… why do I care about some guy from another world?’ She looked over at Sonic standing there listening to some hedgehog in a Stetson and glasses talking. ‘I guess hes kinda cool, almost as cool as me… I know hes as fast as me. Ive never seen someone move that fast on their feet…’ She then noticed she was blushing and shook her head to hide it. ‘Get it together Dash. Your to awesome to like someone like that.’ She sighed and ran over to the group. “Not Cool Sonic” Cliff said. Sonic frowned noticing outta the corner of his eye Tails, Knuckles and Amy giving him “The Look”. Sonic thought to himself ‘Why are you blaming just me? They helped set him free! I even said “we” not “I”… Wheres Rainbow Dash to back me up when I need it… wait… why does she back me up?’ Sonic looked at Cliff as he was going on about how Lyric was gonna collect some type of crystal from both halves of the world or something. ‘I guess maybe she sees some of her in me… I know I see some of me in her… Its almost like looking in a mirror. Shame when this is all over their world will most likely leave ours… Id really like to get to know her more after this…’ Sonic then heard footsteps behind him and turned to see Rainbow Dash skidding to a stop by them. “Good timing! Cliff was just telling us Lyric’s evil plot to destroy us and conquer both our worlds.” Cliff nodded and pointed up the pit. “Up there youll find a cave. In there should be the first of the Chaos Crystals. Find it and return to me.” Everyone nodded and ran up the pathway. Princess Luna stepped forward and spoke to Cliff, “Let us hope they can find these crystals before this Lyric does.”
