The War of Light was lost. The dark knight Morn Dread had successfully sieged the castle of Canterlot, stolen the great powers of Light and transformed them into dark energy. The Avatars of Light have no choice but to look to another world to find their next heroes.

Canterlot High School becomes the battlefield for the next war. A new student by the name of Home Run enrolls into the school, just in time for the Avatars to make their decision. With Morn Dread looking to consume all worlds, will the heroes master the power of Light? Or will all worlds fall to the darkness?
