The Ethereal Fissureby DragonwrathChaptersPrologueDay 1 - So Much For SecretsDay 2 & 3 - Multiple SurprisesPrologue༺Tu 11/17/2015 8:00 PM ࿇ 40 miles north of St.Joseph, MO༻ Inside a huge cylindrical steel building that was about a quarter of the size of Walmart, there was a party going on this very moment. It was no ordinary party, and its subject was of no ordinary nature. The reason for the party was to celebrate My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Yes, this was a Bronycon. Lights, signs, and other colorful advertisements were placed around the outside of the cylindrical building. Fields surrounded the building in all directions, with only a single road leading out of the area. On the front of the building was a huge lit sign saying "Bronycon 2015". Even from the outside of the building, music can be heard. The music of pony songs. On the inside, pony media was all over the place. In the center of the room was a stage made of wooden pallets and hay. Encircling the stage were bronies and pegasisters of all ages and backgrounds. They were all dancing to the song that was sung on stage. A loud rumble sounded overhead. It was nighttime yet the moon was hidden behind thick layers of storm clouds. Occasionally a bolt of lightning struck the ground in the distance, leaving a yellow fractal in the sky that faded within a second. The occasional crack of thunder didn't effect the bronies inside of the building. They were too busy having a good time listening to music, sharing their creations and other stuff that they had brought to show off. Tables also lined one of the walls in this building. The tables were full of pony toys, plushies, shirts, cakes, pies, and a lot of other indescribable pony things. The song was now over, and the building went quiet as the main speaker spoke. "Today we have celebrated our 2015 Bronycon. And..." that's when he was cut off by someone falling into the stage and dropped a bag of seeds on the stage. Seeds? Oh well, who cares. Finally, the speaker continued "...seeds. You know what? I have an idea. If everyone would cooperate with this experiment, we will be able to do the impossible. In the Bible, Jesus says that with faith the size of a mustard seed, you can move mountains. Let's all focus on one spot and imagine... no, believe that a portal will open to Equestria. I believe that we all collectively will acquire enough faith to do anything. SO let's all stare at this spot," he pointed at a standing pallet "and make it happen." The whole building fell silent as most of the bronies stared at the standing pallet. Eyes glared at the pallet for many minutes. "Believe, and it will happen" the speaker kept reassuring the crowd of focused bronies. A few more minutes passed, maybe more. The pallet remained standing and it seemed like nothing was happening. The occasional crack of thunder, now audible through the silence of the focused crowd, would startle a few. Then they returned to their intent focus. Finally one brony broke the silence "I don't think anything's happening. Whatever we might be doing, isn't enough." "Well we need to focus harder, we need to WANT it to happen with all of our being. we want to BELIEVE that it WILL happen." replied the speaker on the stage. A few more minutes of intent staring, and a few more minutes of absolutely nothing. Finally, one by one, bronies started to break off from the focused group and milled about the building, talking silently to the other bronies that had also broken from the group. Eventually the entire building was filled with the sound of chatter and the sight of people randomly walking about the building, making last minute sells and purchases. It was now 8:52 and people started to leave the building. At 9:24, the building was again void of sound, for the only people who remained was to clean up the place. At 9:48 everything was clean and the building became dark, soundless, and empty. The storm was still lingering overhead and the lightning became more frequent. Streaks of lightning was giving their own light show now. Then all of a sudden, lightning struck the steel building. More specifically, the still standing pallet. An orb of yellow light hovered about an inch in front of the pallet. The orb then exploded, revealing a ring of yellow light and on the inside, it was like a window into a forest. ༺࿇༻ A car pulled up as a brony returned to get something that he has accidentally left there. It was now 11:27 p.m. With a flashlight in hand, he entered the huge building. He found a box in the corner containing other pony items that had been left behind. He quickly found what he came for and then... "What in Celestia's name is this?" The voice came from the stage and it sounded like... no this can't be right. The voice was calm and had an airy feel to it. Fluttershy? The man's heart started to beat faster from fear. "Wh... who's there?" said the brony. A gasp sound came from the stage, then a soft squeal. Then the sound of footsteps running, then it sounded the footsteps was on grass or dry leaves. Questions started whirling around the brony's head. Slowly, the brony made his way to the stage. He couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the portal that had a yellow, glowing outline. This outline separated what he should be seeing: the front of the pallet, from what he shouldn't be seeing: a forest. He slowly made his way to the opening. Minutes passed as he just stood there, not knowing if he should pass the opening, or leave with his lost pony figurine. Finally, he made up his mind and stepped through. A tingling sensation passed his body like he walked through a waterfall into a cave. A sensation that startled him at first, but then he got his grip again. It was now 27 minutes until midnight. He emerged in the forest, well, it was more like the edge of the forest. It here was also nighttime, but the sky was clear and a bright moon illuminated the ground. And not to far away was the outline of a building. It was most likely Fluttershy's cottage. The brony found himself walking toward the cottage. He finally reached the door and decided to knock. The door opened and there she was, Fluttershy looking at the brony for a brief moment. Before he could do anything, there came a squeal and the door slammed shut. The brony stood there in shock over the sudden door slamming. Well that figured, Fluttershy is easily scared. He found himself knocking again. Another squeal and a shaky voice broke the silence. "Whatever you are, please leave me alone." "Please don't be afraid, I am not going to hurt you." said the brony. a shaky voice came from inside "What are you? I have never seen anything like you in Equestria. Did you come from the yellow ring or something? Was that you who sent me running back to my cottage?" "I... I am a human. Of course you haven't seen me in Equestria because that yellow ring is some type of portal connecting your world to mine. Yes, I am sorry I startl... scared you, Fluttershy." Another squeal stopped the brony cold. "How do you know my name?" she responded, slightly snappy. This was a very difficult question. He couldn't say to her that she was a fictional cartoon and was recorded. She surely looked real now. All of the detail, just like on earth. No cartoonation of anything. What would he tell her? "I asked you a question!" she said, even more snappy. "Uh... " The brony looked around, trying to think of something. Then he noticed a mailbox on a path leading away from her house. Surely her name must be on that somewhere. "The mailbox over yonder," he pointed "I saw your name on it and assumed that a 'Fluttershy' must be at this house." This time, her voice was calm again "Oh, I nearly forgot about that old mailbox having my name on it. What's yours?" "David" the brony responded. "Alright, David, you can come in now." With that, David walked into the cottage to see Fluttershy curled up into a ball in a corner, shaking a little bit. "It's alright, don't be afraid, I am not gunna hurt you, dear." he said again as he stepped through slowly and closed the door. Did he really just say dear? Fluttershy uncurled and slowly stood up. That's when they began exchanging questions and other basic information. They talked past midnight. ༺࿇༻ Author's Note This is the first chapter of the Etheral Fissure. I really hoped that you would enjoy it. If you have any ideas that you think might go well with this book, please feel free to submit them. Thanks to some suggestions from my comments, I fixed a point of view error, and increased the struggle between David and Fluttershy. Some things after the second page break has been changed since the chapter's publication. Day 1 - So Much For Secrets༺W 11/18/2015 12:00 AM ࿇ Just outside Ponyville: Fluttershy's Cottage༻ As Fluttershy and David settled down and exchanged many questions and various pieces of information. David soon looked at his watch and noticed that it was 12:35 a.m. He needed to get back to his house and get some sleep. "I've had a nice time talking with you, Fluttershy, but I really need to get going. I have work to do in my home town tomorrow, and I need to get some sleep." he said. "It was a pleasure getting to know the man from beyond the yellow ring." this drew out a chuckle from David. "I will come back tomorrow after work, assuming the portal is still here." and with that, David left the cottage and started walking back to the forest. At first, the portal's ring was not noticeable. He had to strain his eyes to find it. Once he did, he walked straight toward it. The outline grew more prominent and soon he saw the inside of the steel building that was a bronycon earlier. The moon was high in the sky. hen he heard a rumble. Oh yeah, there is still a storm on the other side. I forgot all about it. he thought to himself. There was another sound, a hissing sound. Oh come on, not rain also. Raindrops pounded the steel building as David exited the portal. Feeling the slight tingling sensation again as he stepped through. He looked around the building, seeing hay pieces laying on the stage pallets. The sound of thunder shook him back to business. I gotta get home and get some sleep, what if I am already asleep? This has got to be a dream of some kind. What if i had died and go... don't be silly. There has to be some logical explanation for all of this. Running from the steel building because he had no umbrella or raincoat on, his pony figurine nestled in his pocket. He fumbled to get his keys out of his pocket. Finally, he pushed the unlock button and practically jumped into the car. With legs now inside, he closed the door, started it up, and was headed on his 10 mile journey home. Once there, the rain had stopped, and he was on his way to bed. He checked the time again - 12:51 a.m. ༺࿇༻ Fluttershy lied in her bed, wondering if she should tell the others about the portal, or wait it out until somepony else finds the portal. If it remained where it was, it was only a matter of time before somepony spotted it. Finally she relaxed and looked at the clock- 12:42 a.m. With that, she drifted into a dreamless sleep. She woke up to the sound of knocking on the door. Looking at the clock, it was 8:30 a.m. The sun was already partway above the horizon, showering Ponyville with its brilliance. She got out of her bed and headed downstairs. She looked through the peephole to see Twilight Sparkle standing there. Fluttershy opened the door and said "Hello Twilight, what brings you over to my house this morning?" "Just checking up on my dear friend, I saw a bright flash of lightning hit a tree over there, and I started to worry about you because it was so close to your cottage. Are you alright?" "Yes, i'm fine, wanna stay for breakfast?" responded Fluttershy. "I'm sorry, but I have a lot of studying to do. I only allotted enough time to check up on you, have a good day, Fluttershy" and she was off just as quickly as she came. Fluttershy waited until Twilight was out of sight, then she headed down toward the area where the portal was. Sure enough, she finally found it, in the same spot it was last night. On the other side, was dark like the inside of a building. She stared at the open hole for a few moments, noticing the circle of light on the wooden pallet that was like a stage. This light came from Equestria, and the portal acted as a window to let the sunlight through. Surely it was the only light in the big building. She couldn't work up the courage to walk through the portal again, so she went back to her cottage to make breakfast for the many animals she took care for. ༺࿇༻ The alarm rang 6:00 a.m. for David. He got up from his bed, took a shower, and made himself some oatmeal for breakfast. He sipped on a cup of coffee and waited for the moment that he would have to leave for work. Finally it came time for him to head to his car. 6:54 a.m. This was plenty of time to drive across town to the place where he worked, which happened to be McDonalds. David lived in the town of Maryville, which was located around 50 miles north of St.Joseph. It was a rather ordinary day at work today, he kept quiet about the whole portal thing, which he was still thinking it was a dream. He worked on the grill, getting hamburger patties almost spot on perfection. Hours passed, and then lunch break came. Then more patty flipping, and other small tasks while they were cooking. Finally it was 5:00 p.m. and time for him to head home. But he decided to head back to the bronycon building. The cyan car rolled up to the huge steel building. And David stepped out of the car. should I take anything? If I do, should I show them to Fluttershy? Should I introduce myself to the rest of Ponyville, or keep it between Fluttershy and I for now? Should I even be coming back anyways? and some other questions spun around in David's head. The sun was close to the horizon by now. It's surprising that it the temp hasn't started dropping yet this year. It's still warm enough to wear summer clothes. He decided to only bring his phone, car keys, and a pack of crackers in case he gets hungry. He walked out of the car and into the steel building. He saw that the portal was still where it was yesterday. Either it wasn't a dream or I am still in this dream. I don't know anymore. he thought as his eyes locked on to the yellow ringed portal. In contrast with the dark room, the sunlight from the portal lit up basically the entire stage. He walked through the portal into the bright, colorful world. He saw Fluttershy's cottage and the questions rose up again. Am I going to remain hidden, or should I introduce myself to Ponyville? If I was stuck here, I wouldn't have a choice, but if I do introduce myself to Ponyville, will I have to tell them how I came? If I said there was a portal, they'd surely follow me to it out of curiosity. Did Fluttershy tell any other ponies yet? I'll ask her. with that, he walked up to Fluttershy's cottage again. He checked his watch on his way up. 5:21 a.m. Before he knocked, he saw a note on the door. This note was written in some type of script that he couldn't understand. He decided that it was a note saying that she was out running errands or something and was going to return in an hour or two. Now what? wait for Fluttershy to return? I don't have THAT much patience. Should I go looking for her? He sat down on a rock that was placed by the door for decoration. And he thought of different scenarios. Some involved ponies going to Earth, some involved other humans arriving at Equestria. Some involved him getting caught in lies and loosing any friends he may get. He slowly boiled down to one fact. No matter how long he could lie about the portal, someone, or somepony would eventually find it. He couldn't keep this secret forever. But he couldn't rush it either. Imagine all those ponies crowding through the portal and popping up in the... THAT'S IT! I would have to find a way to hide the portal. With the sudden thought, he ran back to the portal. He couldn't move the portal. So what would he do? He looked around, behind the portal was the forest. He went into the forest a little ways and started collecting long, large branches. He emerged from the forest and then realized he just wasted time. He couldn't surround the portal with branches, that would attract more attention. The edge of the forest was definitely too far for a collection of branches and trees to look normal. He finally gave up and walked back up to Fluttershy's cottage. Before his fist reached the door, he stopped cold. There was talking going on in the cottage. He couldn't hear what they were saying, so he put his ear up to the door. muffled sounds came from inside. "Is the party preparations for our newcomer ready?" asked a voice that sounded like Fluttershy's. "It will be the best party ever. He deserves it because he's so special." That must be Pinkie Pie. "You should get going now, he could be coming any moment." said Fluttershy. Oh shute, I better hide before Pinkie fi... dang too late The door opened and there was Pinkie Pie. She gasped. "What are you doing here?" asked David. "Nothing." she spat out quickly, then continued "Just talking to my super duper bestest friend Fluttershy." and let out a wide grin. "Did Fluttershy tell you about me already?" asked David. "Everypony in Ponyville knows about you already. You are the human from another world." Pinkie said as she hopped up and down. Oh shute, everyone here knows about me already, I hope they don't know about the portal yet. After a moment of silence, Pinkie Pie hopped down the road towards Ponyville. "Does anyone know about the portal yet?" I glared at Fluttershy. "I haven't told anypony about that yet, it would be a disaster if they found out." replied Fluttershy in a calm, relaxed voice. "You don't have to tell me that again, so what DID you tell them?" "I said that you were stranded here and lived deep within the Everfree Forest. And I told them that you were fine there and didn't need any help." she responded. They both noticed it getting darker outside. The sun was now going below the horizon. 7:00 already? he thought as he looked at his watch. He was getting hungry so he pulled out his pack of crackers. As he ate them, Fluttershy looked at them with a confused face. Like she had never seen crackers before. Unfortunately, the crackers didn't fill him up. Fluttershy offered him some type of salad, but David wasn't a salad type of guy. So David decided to head back home. ༺࿇༻ The Chicken Pot Pie filled David up tho. He sat on his couch and was surfing the TV stations. He reached one that had an episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic on it. More specifically one of the newer episodes in Season 5, More specifically Episode 24. It was a well designed episode, like all the others Whoa, that isn't right He noticed at the end of the episode, there was a storm. And the camera was above Fluttershy's cottage. Then a lightning bolt struck a tree. The strange part was that a faint, barely visible yellow ring remained in one of the cartoon trees. Was I affecting the actual show? Then the end credits started to roll. I have got to be going crazy now. ༺࿇༻ Author's Note Here's Day One of The Etheral Fissure. I hope you enjoyed this second chapter. If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Thank you Day 2 & 3 - Multiple SurprisesAuthor's Note Sorry it took so long, real life caught me, but i decided to let my imagination loose for day 2 and 3. I hope you enjoy these surprising days. Day 2 & 3 - Multiple Surprises ༺Th 11/19/2015 8:00 AM ࿇ David's House༻ David pondered if he really affected the show. He just brushed it off, it was only a pixel or two, maybe it was only an animation error. He had a dreamless sleep today. It's a Thursday today, and again David has to go to work. He gets up, gets dressed, eats, and heads off to work. As usual, it was an ordinary day at work. He had lunch, blah blah blah. Finally it is 5:00 p.m. and he can go home now. But again, he goes to the steel building. Once there, he walks into the building as he did the day before. He looks around at the inside of the building. Everything is as it was the day before. He walks up to the stage. The portal also was in its spot, but it seemed a tiny bit larger. Maybe it was his imagination. He stared for a moment at the daylight and trees on the other side of the portal. I wonder something. he walked around to the other side of the portal. It was the same, except facing the other way. He looked closer at the yellow boarder that separated the two realms. He slowly brought his hand to it. He touched it. It was like he touched a floating ring of rope. He touched it and it was a solid border. At least I don't have to worry about accidentally slicing off my leg or any other part of my body Was it the first time he touched the yellow part? If he had, would he have noticed? He grabbed the yellow outline, It felt strange. He pulled, and it didn't move, he pulled harder, and it still didn't move. Whatever it was, it was locked into place. He finally had enough of messing with the portal. He stepped through and headed to Fluttershy's cottage. He walked to the cottage while thinking about the portal. How it was even there, how he couldn't move it, and the tingling sensations. Hit thoughts were cut short when he nearly tripped over a bush by Fluttershy's cottage. He walked over to the door and knocked. A few seconds passed and the door opened. "Come on in, I've been waiting for you." she said. "Oh, have you now?" asked David. "I sure was. Are you hungry?" she asked. "You know what? I think I really need some food right now." he said as he realized that he didn't have supper yet and it was 5:31 now according to his watch. Fluttershy and David talked a little bit more about themselves before they finally decided to go to Sugarcube Corner for some food. They left the cottage and started heading into town, making several turns. I had never been into town yet, the buildings look so... interesting and different. he thought. They finally arrived at a building that looked like a Gingerbread house. Chocolate colored roof with swirls of white that was around the edges. Frosting, that's what it looked like. There was a steeple on it like a church, however, the steeple was more of a double stacked cupcake. It even had three candles on it's top. A sign hung out that looked like a delicious cupcake with pink frosting and white sprinkles. "Wow, this building looks awesome. Like a gingerbread house." said David. "That's what it's supposed to look like. In there you will find many sweet treats. That's the Sugarcube Corner that we talked about." responded Fluttershy. "Sweet treats? Is that all they have? I haven't had supper yet, I am not sure about cupcakes and... candy." "Don't be worried, they have bread and stuff there too. It is a bakery." And that's when they both reached the door. The sun was now nearing the horizon. Fluttershy opened the door. The strange part about it was that it was black inside. That's odd, do they not need ligh... His thought was cut off and he flew backwards as the inside of the door lit up, and a "Surprise!" coming from multiple voices within the building. When he got up, the pink pony he saw at Fluttershys' the day before was hopping up and down in front of him. David slowly stood up, he suspected this may happen. Did he know this pink pony's name? Sure it was Pinkie Pie, but he didn't know if Fluttershy told him yet. If she had, he didn't remember it. He decided to just ask. He didn't want to spook her out. "What's your name, pink pony?" asked David. "My name is Pinkie Pie, were you surprised? Were you? Were you?" she responded, still bouncing up and down. "Oh yeah, this all caught me off guard." he responded. "Then why don't you come in and have a party?" The question was rhetorical for she pushed him into the colorful building that looked as if it itself was edible. Ponies hovered all around getting their first real glimpse at David. ༺࿇༻ David was stuffed full of bread and sweet treats, along with all of the other ponies. Party streamers hung from anyplace that they could be hung. Popped balloons covered the floor and other balloons were laying on the ceiling, trying to go higher, but can't. Pinkie Pie was still going at it, hopping around and blowing her party horn. Slowly, the room became quieter as ponies left for the night. He looked at his watch. Wow, that party was so awesome and fun, I totally lost track of time. Three hours long. 10:21 P.M. David was so stuffed and worn out from the party that he just sat in the chair that he sat in to eat. He gazed at one of the balloons that was on the ceiling. His mind began to drift away. ༺Fr 11/20/2015 12:08 AM ࿇ Sugarcube Corner༻ "Hey, don't you need to go home?" Pinkie's voice jolted him awake. "How long have I been out?" he said in a dazed voice. "It's one twenty-three in the morning silly, don't you have a watch?" she responded. Instinctively he looked at his watch. 12:09 A.M. it said. "That's strange. My watch says it's only midnight, it must be off." He said, still a bit disoriented. Then he realized that he didn't have work tomorrow, he forgot the reason though. "You know what? I think i will spend the night if you don't mind, I am tired and don't have work tomorrow." He said. "Where do you work?" Pinkie asked. He then realized what he said, now what lie is he going to have to tell Pinkie. Then he considered telling her all about the portal and telling her to Pinkie promise never to tell anypony else, but then it faded as he tried to think of a place to tell her he worked at. He finally gave up and decided to get off of the subject. "Where do you suggest I stay tonight?" he said. "You can sleep up in my room in the attic." Pinkie responded, apparently forgetting her previous question. "Why, thank you" he responded and followed the pink pony upstairs and into the small room. He sat down in the corner, if you could call it a corner, and watched Pinkie Pie curl up in her blankets. For minutes he just stared at a stray party streamer laying still on the floor. Then the streamer moved. Did I just... no, it must be the wind. He decided to stare at it and focus on moving it to a certain spot. Slowly the streamer made its way to the spot he focused on. I did, didn't I? No, it must be a dream, I must have passed out in the corner. And with that he closed his eyes, believing it was a dream, maybe it was. The next thing he saw most definitely was a dream. He was back at the party with confetti and streamers all over the place. Then the streamers started dancing, literally. Then the room changed to Pinkie's attic and there was one lone streamer jumping up and down and all around. "Play with me, I'm your friend" The streamer said as it pranced around the room, by the time it jumped up onto Pinkie's bed, it had morphed into a tiny Pinkie Pie. "Play with me, or I will play with you." the now-tiny-Pinkie-Pie said as it continued hopping around on the bed. The scene shifted again. This time he was hovering over the metal building that the portal was nestled inside. The building collapsed as the portal grew and grew. Soon he was in space and he saw Earth and Equestria colliding with a loud rattling noise that woke him up dead from his sleep. Again, he was in Pinkie's attic, most likely awake for he felt drowsy. He looked around, it was still nighttime. What if this all is a dream? What if I'm in a coma? What if I wrecked my vehicle during the storm the other day? These thoughts rushed around in his head for a little bit before he found himself above Earth looking at a huge yellow shockwave of light slowly wrap itself around the Earth. He soon was catapulted through many different images of the portal finding ways to destroy Earth and Equestria. Each minute dragging out and feelings of loss and fear enveloping him. He couldn't stop the barrage of doomsday scenarios that pelted him every second. A very creepy sounding voice sounded "You can not stop the inevitable. Destiny has been written." With that, he jumped straight up from his sleep. Nearly loosing his balance and falling onto his face, fortunately he didn't because he saw cyan eyes staring right at him. "Hi Pinks." "Whoa..." Pinkie lost her balance. "You scared me." she said in a shaky tone. "I'm sorry, I just had the worst nightmare ever." he said. "Me too, all my friends abandoned me and left me to rot in a giant cupcake." she said, then added "you are my newest friend, right?" "Yes, and I do hope your dream doesn't come true, or mine." "It's breakfast time, come downstairs." ༺࿇༻ After being filled up of pancakes of all kinds, he decided to head over to Fluttershy's to ease his mind. Once he got there the door opened before he could even knock. "Come quick, it's important." the Pegasus said as she pulled him in and closed the door. She practically whispered the next line. "I heard some noises in the woods last night and went to check what it was. I saw another one of your kind roaming about. I was too scared to call out to him so I just watched. Eventually he made his way back through the portal but he definitely knows about this place now." This wasn't what he expected. A nightmare and now this? What else is going to rattle him this morning. "Um, maybe he won't come back. I hope he doesn't, because one human running around in Equestria is enough." he responded. "What time is it?" "Nine twenty... two in the morning." Fluttershy responded. He looked at his watch. 8:36 A.M. it said, it was 46 minutes behind. Well if we went though a portal to another world, of course the time will be more or less off. He thought and slowly dismissed it. "What do you want to do? Find a way to close it?" she asked. "Probably, but I had the worst nightmare about all the possible ways this portal can destroy Earth and Equestria, we shouldn't be doing anything until we know more about it." he responded. "Well, how would we close it, should I tell Twilight?" she asked. "NO" He shouted, sending Fluttershy backwards at the sudden outburst. "She can't know about this. Knowing her, she probably would preform endless experiments on it, what if it is volatile? It could explode if she does the wrong thing, I don't want to risk it yet. You are the only one who knows about where I really come from, and I intend to keep it that way for as long as possible." "So, how are we going to stop it?" she asked. "Well, I don't think we can, and it's not doing anything destructive yet, is it?" David responded. "No..." she said shakily. And they both continued to ponder ways to stop it, or keep people from using it. David decided to go back to Earth, to a Wallmart to buy a lock and some other things for his house, he also bought a few portable security cameras that ran on long lasting batteries. While in town, he got a bite to eat for lunch and was back at home. It was 2:00 by now and he began watching television. It talked about the storm a few days ago. It is strange they are still talking about it. And then it was revealed. This storm was the most powerful storm in recorded history. It didn't seem that bad when he remembered it. But the news says the storm intensified and tore through Saint Joseph, Missouri, leaving a trail of debris and minor destruction. The news people explained the 'powerful' was the frequency of lightning strikes per minute per mile. Then he began surfing channels like a ping pong ball, bouncing from one to another. Eventually it was time for supper. He ate some leftovers, surfed more boring channels and then got tired of them. It was nowhere close to bedtime so he paced the floor of his house. He pondered the nightmare from last night, then he went back to the memory of the streamer. He sat down and stared at a paper towel that he tore and placed on the dinner table. For minutes he focused on the paper towel to move, but as expected, it didn't even budge. If it wasn't a dream, why can't I move it now? he wondered. David sat there, letting his mind wander. Then he noticed it was time for bed, so he went up into his room and slept. He has a rather blank sleep until the metal cylinder came into view. He watched as glowing purple and cyan fog emerged from the building, slowly spreading until the entire ground was covered. When he looked around, the scene went black. From then on there were no more dreams.
Prologue༺Tu 11/17/2015 8:00 PM ࿇ 40 miles north of St.Joseph, MO༻ Inside a huge cylindrical steel building that was about a quarter of the size of Walmart, there was a party going on this very moment.
Thank you
Day 2 & 3 - Multiple SurprisesAuthor's Note Sorry it took so long, real life caught me, but i decided to let my imagination loose for day 2 and 3.
