Darkness Above All

I lay at night, wondering, what will happen if one day our greatest leader turned on us all?

I'm not the only pony who knows that Princess Celestia can possess more than happiness. Princess Celestia can possess dark magic, and one day she will use it against us all. Especially Princess Luna. But, what about me and the millions of others of Equestria? What would happen to us? We would all possess the magic along with Princess Celestia. The other Princess' would be prisoners against Princess Celestia. Cadance's love would never last. Princess Luna's magic isn't powerful enough for Celestia. Is that why we always keep her happy? So she doesn't turn on us?

My logic is valid. Every time I tell my friends these facts, they get speechless in wonder. They don't know how to respond. That's what I expected.

I took a trot around the town. Canterlot was usually busy during this time, but I forgot it was Sunday. I brought my pink and white striped scarf, and I began taking the cobblestone path. The city was beautiful with it's beautiful buildings, beautiful ponies, beautiful shops, and so much more.

ugh.

The Canterlot ponies make me crazier then Discord. Everything will always have to be perfect in their minds and they will do everything to make sure that no other pony will ruin their masterpieces. I, am not one of those pathetic, snotty ponies. I can appreciate what I own, without being disgusted and throwing it off my balcony.

By now you are wondering who I am. But I can't really tell you, because this story holds all the secrets to what our country calls 'Unknown and Not-Needed'. I have discovered many facts in my journey through the classified files of Equestria's deepest and darkest secrets. I could take over Equestria, and have darkness above all. But I wouldn't, because I know somepony who is trying to already put darkness over our precious country. I won't say. Remember - Unknown and Not-Needed.

So, you are also probably wondering what the purpose of this story is. Well, as a author myself, I cannot say the theme of the story directly. Let's just say, I'm helping Equestria know of the secrets that no pony knows except Princess Celestia and Princess Luna.

As you may know, Twilight Sparkle is now a Princess. Of Friendship. Of course she is, she has a perfect life, and perfect friends. Why her? She made a dragon come out of it's shell. What if Spike (the dragon's name, of course) didn't come out of his shell? Twilight would've failed the test, never have became Princess Celestia's personal student, never have moved to Ponyville to make friends, and never had become a Princess.

She only made things worse, for all of us. I keep my snout shut, though I would happily protest against Twilight Sparkle's existence.

Princess Celestia is planning to one day suddenly attack Ponyville with dark magic. She wants the citizens to help her attack Manehattan, Yanhoover, Fillydelphia, and more. But, she is not attacking Canterlot. Well, it wasn't recorded in the files. It doesn't make sense to my brain. How come she wants to attack the rest of Equestria, but not the capitol? Is she planning to have only us spared? Does Princess Celestia know I have the knowledge of a Princess? Is she going to only attack Canterlot herself?

Princess Luna is not involved in these files. There is no mention of her name, nor do you see her writing. Is this plan so secret, that Celestia is hiding it from her own sister? I had to investigate.

I trotted down the cobblestone path to the Canterlot Library. The old, crippled librarian was reading a documentary about Starswirl The Bearded, not noticing my entrance. I slid through the door, into the unknown section of the library. Heh, sorry, the files told me about it. I look through the books, and try to find an explanation to the dark magic attack. But something spotted my eye. Dark Magic: The Remains. It filled my curiosity. I took it out, and began reading. The words on the pages made me want to read more and more. But I shouldn't read about dark magic. I shouldn't become evil. I took the book in my saddlebag, and looked for more books to help with the mystery.

I only found two other books. Princess Celestia's History and Creation of Canterlot. Maybe these books could help? The only way to find out is to read.

On my way out, the librarian looked up and gave me the death look.

"Where did you get those books from Missy?" she said, sort of hissing at me.

"The Health section", I lied. "I have a presentation."

The librarian did a little hmph before returning to her book. I quickly left the library, and ran to my apartment a few blocks away. There was no pony on the street, which was luck for me.

I opened the door, and my cat Egypt immediately greeted me. Her brown and black striped fur rubbed against my front hoofs. Her warm welcome every time I come home always makes me feel better. I put the books on my desk next to my paper and pen. Coming from his room, my room-mate Blues came in the living room. He was humming a tune, which he usually does. He greeted me, then went to the kitchen for a snack.

I sat down in my wooden chair next to my desk. Egypt jumped on top of my desk, and settled next to my lamp. I turned it on, and the light shined on my previous work. A tale about two mice. I knew the story would never work, but I left it out for improvements.

I began deeply thinking about the files I read. Princess Luna has no idea what Celestia is planning. Probably because Celestia is going to get Luna first. But Luna can turn into Nightmare Moon when she becomes jealous and depressed. This doesn't make sense. Do Cadance and Twilight know of this plan? Probably not, but I'm not jumping to conclusions.
