"Nope, forget this." It's been a few hours and I finally decided that wasting my time finding who I am is probably another one of those find your destiny bullshit things. "Dream, can we stop arguing please?" I beseech.

"Fine, but Mommy Celestia needs to talk to you!" I wince when she says Mommy because she's already going to that level...

"Uh..." I'm not given a chance to finish my reply as she grabs me by my collar and drags me to Celly's room. Celestia lays on her bed but turns around to show her caring golden orbs. Oh wow.

"Brandon, my little baby boy." She starts. I blush in embarrassment. Please don't do this right now! They both giggle as Dream stands in the doorway but I've already made my way over to her bed and am trying to get under the covers so I can find an excuse to sleep. "You are going to school in an hour." This is the part where everything goes to shit, well kinda.

I immediately freeze and look straight at Celestia, challenging her. She just shakes her head and pulls me close so that the nape of my neck is on her stomach. "Look, I know you don't want to. But this is going to help you. You'll learn magic and make new friends. Isn't that what you wanted?" Well that came out of left field...

"Alright Mom, but I'm going to listen to music on my way there." Celestia is filled with glee as I call her that. I shrug and grab my backpack since Dream decided to bring it. "Where are my headphones and my phone?" Dream floats out my Tritton Kunais and my super-charged Samsung Galaxy Note 4. I grab them out of the floating air and put them on before switching the song to a good one.

"What song is that?" I pull out my headphones and the song flows out so that everypony can hear it. We listen to the whole song letting them hear the first buildup, the drop, and then the second of each of these.

An hour passes and I switch through many songs on my phone. By the time my last song is almost done it's time to go. I walk to the closet and pull out a flannel with a T-Shirt underneath it that says L33T Soldier on it in black writing on a white background. I put on some new jeans as well to fit the profile I'm going for. I wait for Celestia to say something for a little while.

"Ok, I'll show you the way. You and Dream are in the same class by the way." Celestia gives her usual motherly smile but it's even bigger because we are practically her children. As she takes the lead I follow behind slowly examining the rest of the castle as I haven't exactly paid much attention to it. Pillars everywhere. That's all I can say. And if this was a 5 star hotel I'd force them to add 5 extra stars.

I don't even notice that we've stopped moving until I hear Celestia harrumph noisily. "We're here. Now you two go in there and behave yourselves." She shoos us into the room where I take a closer look at who is there. Looks like a whole classroom.

"Unicorns and alicorns only!" The teacher says looking at me.

"Oh, yeah forget about that." I snap my fingers and am back in my alicorn colt form. All of a sudden everypony bows as soon as they see I've changed and Dream enters the room too.

"My mistake your highness. You can be human if you really wanted." Dream finds an empty desk with another next to it surrounded by 3 rows ahead filled by colts and fillies of all ages.

"I wanted to be my human form because I can do magic with my hands too. Like this." I snap my fingers and am back in human form but I wave my hands around and energy disperses from my hands to make me float to my desk. Oohs and Awws are heard all around. Alicorn form has some exceptions though. I can't do what I definitely cannot understand. Must be learned in the human form. This is not natural.

"Alright class, now that that is over with we shall begin. My name is Miss Auroria." To add to this, she uses her magic to write on a board that appeared out of nowhere. "Class you may begin to introduce yourselves to everypony."

A white unicorn filly with a fancy red mane went first. "My name is Crimson Nova." Ponies started to ask questions about each other after being introduced and this repeated until it was left to Dream and I.

"My name is Princess Blissful Dream." She said. Several ponies raised their hoof to ask a question.

I went next. "My name is Prince Brandon Stryker. You probably are wondering why I'm in my human form?" Several nods. "Because I can do literally anything in this form. Not saying you can't but..." Hooves raise immediately.

"Yes?" I point to a green unicorn filly with a purple mane.

"Is it true that you are in a herd with Princess Twilight Sparkle and Princess Blissful Dream?" She squeaks. Soon after everypony hears this  the classroom goes into chaos.

"ORDER!" Screams a certain Princess Dream. Everypony stops.

"Yeah." I hesitantly answer. But before it can go into chaos again I put my hand up as a halting motion.

"Ok, now that we are done introducing we must begin class. Each and every pony has a small box in front of you. What I want you to do is to try to imagine the box floating and grab the feeling that you feel when imagining it to channel that energy in your horn. After that I want you to levitate it." We all do as she says except I channel it into my hands and lots of ponies fail but mine probably goes the worst. It turns into a playstation 4 and falls to the ground.

"Ok, I'm keeping that." I say as I grab the PS4 and stuff it in my magic pockets. The teacher sighs and hands me another little box for me to retry on. This time instead of transforming it I fling the box through the ceiling because I put in too much power. "Where did that- oh..." The box falls back down somehow untouched. "That's convenient." I use less force this time as I channel the energy into my palms and slow lift my palms to levitate it upwards gently. It works and there is applause.

"Nice! Third time is the charm." Miss Auroria praises. I watch the fillies and colt keep trying as some of them such as Dream and the white coated filly with red mane already did it as well.

"I'm tired..."

"How long did you stay up for this time?!" Dream asks worried as hell arousing interest from the class.

"I don't remember." The class looks at me like I've got a demon. "No. I don't like that look in your eye." Seriously. Dream is creepy sometimes.

"I'm sending you home if you don't remember. Besides you did your homework already anyhow." I did?

"Uh... No. Is that seriously all we have to do today?" I question.

"Just today, yes. Keep in mind not everything is as easy for you as it is for other ponies." Miss Auroria says quite calmly.

"Eh, whatever." I just pull out my phone and my headphones from nowhere noticing several fills looking at me with bedroom eyes before turning around. What... The... Fuck... I get electrocuted by an anti-magical circuit on my headphones and turn back into my alicorn form. I swear this world just wants to screw with me. I drop my headphones and phone as I fall down. Good thing it didn't knock me out this time.

The teacher looks at me with trepidation. "Did you just electrocute yourself?!"

At this point everypony is looking at me waiting for an answer. "Yeah, I think I did." I say flatly. Why is technology shocking me in here? I'll have to figure that out later.

15 minutes later

"Class is dismissed. Except for Brandon. I'll need you to stay behind." Miss Auroria says briskly. There is a bunch of noise at the fillies and colts put their things in their desks and some of the fillies from before give me those same eyes. Dammit. I hate being royalty. But I also love it. I walk over to Miss Auroria's desk and look at her questioningly. "The reason you got shocked is because technology doesn't react well with magic in this room so you have to be careful. Also, you, Dream and a few other ponies are at the top of the class! Congratulations and keep doing well. You are dismissed." I notice Dream waiting for me in the doorway so I make my way over to her.

She also gives me bedroom eyes. Forgot it was heat season. Well shit. "You are in for a surprise. You seemingly forgot about heat didn't you?" Dream teases. We are halfway back when I finally talk.

"I just thought..." I don't finish as I step up my pace to get there faster. Dream triples her pace to catch up as she does the guilting.

"Well I have needs too. I take care of you and I want you to take care of me. And what about Twilight?" She guilt-trips and succeeds because I realize I haven't really been paying attention to their needs.

When we get to the new room for our herd Twilight is in there tapping her hoof to the ground impatiently. I finally break down. "I haven't... I..."  I get on my knees and look down, hiding my face from them.

"Are you. Are you crying?" Twilight and Dream hug me affectionately. "You are!"

I finally let the guilt out. "Yes... I haven't been caring about-"

"You've been busy! You can't help that every day is an adventure."
