Yeah dad did enjoy the company of demons, drow and vampires, that’s what I mean strange but they haven’t committed evil or if they did he forgave them and gave them a new home, new purpose and new start really... They all admired him for he never forsaken anyone I decided to leave and journey around the world taking a few of magic artifacts that adlez acquired over his lifetime, Annabel didn’t object but wished me luck stating I was always welcome home anytime and would still be considered her daughter...it hurt..My heart...family is something that I wished for but I know that will never happen, hex instinctively placed her hand onto her stomach, it filled her heart of pain and anger but with the positive atmosphere within the tavern caused the bad feelings to melt away "Hex, my dear friend what brings you here" asked a female bartender, she was wearing the typical barmaid outfit with an apron but it was very modest, red curly hair and hazel brown eyes....although she appears too feminine she can use an axe like a bloody dwarf. "business is great now that the hunting season is in full swing, after the whole fiasco with the owl bears many folk come here for the hunt, since your old man ran them bandits out of forests, their old encampment has been turned into hunters guild hall now" she replied smiling broadly, after mentioning her old man Michelle noticed the sadness within hex who's eyes was reflecting her heart "I’m sorry hex I didn’t mean to upset you" said Michelle placing her hand onto her friends shoulder . "No I am fine" she responded "I remembered when your old man died that year, and you held yourself strong after the funeral was done  ... I should follow your example" Michelle nodded then remembered something very important "um... hex can your watch the tavern for me for a minute I have to go grab something from the cellar, just let the staff know I won’t be long if they asked ok?" "Sure" Michelle disappeared though the door behind the bar into the kitchen, the tavern was still working fine without her presence still she wouldn't hire people who couldn't work together and run the tavern without her being there... she gets that from her mother hex thought to herself, it didn't take long for Michelle to come back she was carrying a small box with a familiar symbol on where the lock would of reside "Your father had this sent to me a long time ago, with a simply message that if you were to come here it was to be given to you" she then studied the box and the symbol on it, she was puzzled by this why would adlez have this sent here which caused her to wonder a lot on what could be inside, with the desire to find out what was in the box hex place her finger onto the symbol which then began to glow a faint green soon after the sound of a click was made causing the chest to popped open and inside the box was a few scrolls and a black leather bound book that has shimmer to it Hex knew what this book was and what the book can do from experience "a black book" she muttered *why would you leave me this?* she thought "Um... so...hex what’s a black book other a black book" she asked " I’m not much of a magic user like you back I know there is magic" "adlez made a few of these a long time ago, it acts as a way to cross dimensions and space ... like a fixed teleportation spell with some extra spells imbued " she explained while turning the book so the spine was visible "and it seems to be linked to a place called ....equestria?" hex said with a strange look, she then looked at the scrolls and picked up one that did not have a magical glow to it and unravel the parchment revealing the contents. ******************** My dearest daughter hex If you are reading this then the worse has happen or I am finally dead, either way I am now with the trickster in his realm by his side to which I am happy.... but as I’m writing this down I can see you at the other end of the table being upset about my choice not to become immortal, I know I could of became immortal however believe me when say I have had enough adventure in my life to fill content with the time I had, thinking back to days that we had both shared stargazing, storytelling ,or going on a adventure, you were a big part in my life and know I love you But back to the reason for the box, inside I have left you a present... the book contains a adventure to a new world and I know how much you like adventure however this isn't a way to carcosa, irum or even Atlantis, equestria is the name and  is a place unlike any other we have been to before So go on this adventure have fun oh and know this it was me who used up all your lavender perfume Lots of love dad p.s the over scrolls are storage spells that hold 1000 gold coins of equestria currency and some other bits and bobs P.s.s say hi to a guy called discord for me *******************
