The sword and it's perks

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

As Izaiah picked up the orange sword he had taken from his grandfather's house, his necklace began to glow a light cyan blue once more. Sgt. Gold and Falcon felt themselves being drawn to the sword. Unable fight the pull, they walked hurriedly over to Izaiah. He nodded to them.
"I take it you both felt that?" They nodded. Izaiah continued, holding the sword in front of them. "I think the sword wants us four to say this encryption that just appeared." Their eyes widened. Engraved on the orange blade was the following verses that Izaiah, Falcon, Gold and even Flare read aloud.

"THIS IS SPARTA, MOTHERFUCKERS!" Izaiah shook his head in disbelief
. "What the hell? I thought it would be more...I don't know, mysterious." The blade lit up and the words changed. Izaiah's eyes widened.

Ashes to ashes,

Dust to dust,

Your duty is a must,

So use these to harm others and such.

All of the beings in the room (don't think I forgot about you Discord, I see you spying) were blinded by so many colors and flashes it could have given anyone a harsh seizure. After a few minutes, The ponies could see again and what they saw was something really astonishing. Izaiah, Gold, and Falcon had changed. Sgt. Gold was still a pony, but with a few upgrades. He was now in a thick black armor, similar to the royal guard's, but with orange swirls here and there. On his back, was a black shotgun, pulsing with a mysterious red energy. On the left side of his armor, a black, sharpened obsidian sword rested in a purple sheath along with a matching obsidian dagger on the right side of his armor. Apon Gold's armor where a crest was supposed to be was the rank of a Sargent with purple stars surrounding it. His mane, tail, and eye color stayed the same surprisingly, and he wore a golden set of dog tags apon his neck.

Falcon, the once leaf green unicorn was now a pure white unicorn with a rugged, black mane with a neon green streak in it. He had grown to the size of Big Mac and with a horn length rivaling Solarwing's and Twilight's. He bore a pristine white armor that radiated a faint light, and his crest was a Eagle and a Phoenix crossing paths and in between the birds was a ball of green flames. On his back was two sheaths that crossed each other like an x, holding two white swords. One sword had a silver engraving that read, "Eagle" with a eagle engraved on the handle of the sword, indicating the sword's name. The other sword, had a Gold engraving that read, "Phoenix" with a blazing Phoenix engraved on the handle. Falcon was standing on his hind legs, his fore hooves cradling a Forest camo sniper rifle with a special scope. This scope could switch to normal zoom, to thermal, and to an advanced x-ray sight that could see through walls. Falcon's eyes were now a light hazel color. On his neck hung a metal necklace with a silver eagle and a gold Phoenix. Falcon Didn't seem too happy about his new fur color change, for he had liked that dark green coat.

Last but not least, was Izaiah. Izaiah had turned back into a human, but with some new attachments. Izaiah was a light brown African American white, standing at a height of five feet and seven inches. His hair was a spiky black with an orange tip. Large dark blue wings jutted out of Izaiah's back the size of Celestia's to support his body's size. Izaiah's eyes were a pure silver color with a light blue rim surrounding it instead of his original cyan blue eyes. Izaiah did not have armor. Instead, he wore a orange tiger stripe camo BTU. Slung on his back was the orange blade from earlier sheathed in a black leather sheath. On Izaiah's legs were holsters for two Sky blue Desert Eagles with white clouds on them to match the sky. In Izaiah's arms he cradled a silver m4 with a orange and red flame and a blue flame as well on the side of his barrel.

Unsheathing his sword, Izaiah looked at it once more and it read; Use it wisely. Realizing that his blade was intelligent, Izaiah asked;
"Hey, what's your name sword?" The blade flashed and a new engraving showed;
"Lynx"
Izaiah memorized this. "Ok, Lynx, how do we switch between forms?" Lynx flashed and another engraving said;
'It's pretty obvious dumbass.'
"Enlighten me."
'fine.'

'Ashes to ashes,

dust to dust,

returning is a must,

and life really sucks.'

Sure enough, when the trio read those words aloud, the room did the weird post-seizure light show and Falcon was still white, (which he cussed about), Sgt. Gold had no armor or shotgun, and Izaiah turned into a Pegasus once more, with his sword in it's sheath and necklace on his neck. The group of mares and guards stood there in shock, mouths open, and raised eyebrows. Rainbow Dash was the first to speak.

"That wasn't as awesome as me, but that was amazing!!!!!" Then everyone else crowded them pestering the with questions until Luna raised the moon and suggested:

"Let's eat something."

Izaiah agreed with her as well as the other stallions. The group was led to a large dining room with a long table that everypony took a seat at. Here's the seating arrangement. Celestia at the head of the table, Brisk to her right, Luna to her left, Twilight next to Brisk, Falcon next to her, then Aj and Rarity. Next to Luna was none other than Izaiah, then Fluttershy, then Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Gold, Solarwing and the two other guards. As they waited for food, they all conversed. Izaiah and Fluttershy talked about animals, while pinkie and gold talked about happy times in talking speeds unknown, RD sat quietly, thinking about something, Twilight and Falcon talked about magic, Aj and Rarity talked about hard work vs. fashion, Solarwing talked with the guards on what he missed when he was gone, and Luna just slept on the table. Everything was going fine until the food came out. Hayburgers, flowers, hay, veggies, and fruit. Izaiah tried some of the hay food but he soon opted for the fruit instead. Luna awoke, and ate flower sandwiches and fell asleep once again, eating this time. Izaiah reached into his bag and pulled out some candy. He threw a snickers to Falcon, who ate it all in one go, and threw taffies at gold who inhaled them quickly, sharing with Pinkie. Izaiah searched through his bag franticly. Eventually, everypony was staring at him in confusion.

"What's missing Izaiah?" Falcon asked. Izaiah continued to search while he answered.
"My skittles. They were here when we fought over the mp3 player..." All eyes turned towards RD. She had almost made it out of there un noticed. "Rainbow..." Izaiah growled.

"Yeah...About that um IGOTTAGOBYE!" She zoomed out of the room. Izaiah turned towards Brisk.
"Sir, can I..."

"Go get her Tiger."
"Thank you sir!" and the chase began.

Turns out, flying isn't as easy as it looks. Izaiah flew in pursuit of the cyan Pegasus who was rounding corners, doing tricks, and teasing Izaiah. Izaiah cursed as he rammed into another guard.

"Sorry." Izaiah apologized painfully. The guard raised a eyebrow.
"It's fine Major. Let me guess, First time flyer?"

"Yes."
"Take a short cut. Go down that hallway and down the stairs. Miss Rainbow Dash will fly right into you." Izaiah smiled. Then he ran down the hallway yelling;

"Thank you!"
The guard shook his head. "First time meeting a major and I didn't even salute? He didn't even yell at me for not doing so!" A guard walked up to him.

"Private Shadeflower, get to your shift!"
"Yes sir!"

Just like the guard said, Izaiah had run down the hallway and met a short flight of stairs. He glided down them and tackled a surprised Rainbow Dash to the ground. The two wrestled, and Izaiah found himself on top, pinning RD to the ground. Rainbow Dash looked at him with fear in her eyes. She tried to shove him off, but failed. Izaiah kept his grip on her.

"Flare, you awake in there?"
"Yeah."

"Turn my left eye red please."
"Done."

Izaiah growled as his eye turned a blood red color. RD looked up with scared, pleading, eyes. Her whole body shook.
"I-I'm s-sorry! P-Please don't k-kill me!" Izaiah smiled and released Rainbow. She blinked in confusion. He laughed saying;

"I'm just screwing with you Rainbow. Neither me or Flare would kill you." Rainbow Dash glared at Izaiah. Then she flew over to him and decked him hard across the face (muzzle?).

"You bucker! That scared the shit out of me!" She leapt on him, trying to pound his face in while he laughed. Eventually, she found the humor to it as well. Minutes passed and the two ponies finished laughing, gasping for breath. "Alright Izaiah, I guess I deserved that for eating your stuff. Can you forgive me for that?" She looked at him with her giant magenta eyes and he knew that he couldn't resist.

"Yeah...I guess. Look, I'm sorry for reacting the way I did, and how I scared the Awesome and speedy Rainbow Dash." She punched him in the shoulder. "So...can you still teach me how to fly? Please?" Rainbow Dash put a hoof to her chin. She turned towards Izaiah with a seductive look.

"Oh, by the time I'm done with you, you'll be almost as awesome as me. Almost." She circled Izaiah, her tail running across his side slowly. She whispered sensually in his ear. "And I can teach you much, much, more than just flying, Big boy..." Izaiah stopped walking at this sentence. She waked in front of him swaying her hips, and she flicked his nose with her tail. She looked back with a lusty bedroom look in he eyes. A red blush could be seen on Izaiah's cheeks despite his dark coat. His jaw dropped and his wings made a "FWOOSH" sound as his wings spread wide. Rainbow dash gave a cute giggle. "Someone's excited..." Was all she could get out before bursting out in laughter and walking back to the throne room. Izaiah stood there for a few seconds before chasing after Rainbow Dash, blushing furiously though his blue coat.

"H-hey! That wasn't funny!"
"Yes it was!"

"Fuck you Rainbow!"
"You Probably want to."

"N-no."
"That's not what your body says!"

"Damnit!"
"AHAHAHAHAHA" Rainbow dash laughed as they were teleported back to the throne room. Izaiah folded his wings painfully fast hoping that no one would notice. No one did.

"There you two are." Celestia said tapping her hoof impatiently. "Alright," She continued, "Now that every one is here, lets get down to business. Do you boys have any questions before we begin?"

Izaiah raised his hoof. "When can I go home?" Everyone in the room looked both shocked and sad at his question.
Brisk spoke up. "Do you really want to go home?" Izaiah thought about this. RD looked a bit sad as well as Falcon, Sgt. Gold, Solarwing, The mane six, Celestia, Luna, and Brisk. If Izaiah went back, he could live life with humans and without wings. If he stayed here, well, who knows what could happen. Falcon, Gold, Brisk, and Solarwing were here and would stay here...forever... "Now or never Izaiah, choose." Flare said in his head.

"Well..."

Author's Note

All right, this choice is up to all of you. Should Izaiah stay or go home and this whole story can be about Falcon and Sgt. Gold rather than all three of them? Comment below, majority rules. I give you all 3 days.
