Black Mist

"Lights out!" Called Tia. The two sisters settled into their temporary beds. They were visiting the Crystal Empire with Cadence as their host to celebrate the defeat of Nightmare. But now, as the lights turned off and the real word fell away as Tia slept soundly, there was another who stirred. Luna stared out through the window and saw the moon, her creation, rising over the horizon. She cantered slowly onto the balcony , her hooves quiet against the red carpet.

The moon princess let out a deep sigh as her hooves touched the floor of the covered balcony. She flicked her ears and let out a sigh. She spread out her wings and began her flight... She was not in the mood to stay in the castle tonight, cry until her sister awoke and saw her like that. She beat her wings twice, stuck some if her feathers upward, and landed with grace and agony. All those times where she remembered the cold,white surface of the moon seemed to sadden her mire than it did to see her sister's tear covered face, going against her will as Luna was banished.... Why her? Luna let out a cry if anger and sadness if agony was not how her emotion was. She swished her tail and cried into the silence, her quiet weeping the only noise for miles around in the white moonlit snow.

A few hours later, the moon's position was different but nowhere near setting when a voice came from behind. It was the kind of empathetic sad voice spoken by a male, and Luna stopped crying, sat straight up with her eyes a bit wide, and pricked up her ears. She turned slowly, narrowing her eyes. She saw a black silhouette with purple smoke coming from eye level. He was a unicorn, with a red tinted, curved horn. The blue princess knew of him immediately, despite how he had no armor and was not a giant smoke monster. Sombra.
